Obama’s and his followers’ ugly gambit is to silence opposition and the MSM by painting all who oppose him as the worst kinds of Americans. If these Kool-Aid teetotalers are not racists, they’re at the least xenophobic or at worst homicidal.

Factual reality is stubborn, however. The overwhelming majority of Americans are like “Joe The Plumber” as well as you and me. We’re people who have grave concerns about Obama’s fitness and qualifications for the presidency. No, Mr. Obama. You can’t force most Americans into silence with false accusations of racism or homicidal thoughts. Your latest trick, in last night’s debate and of course played at deafening volume on MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann (surprise, surprise), has been exposed by the Times-Leader newspaper, whose reporter — what an enterprising fellow — interviewed the Secret Service. An interview with those who protect Obama! What an idea! Try it sometime, Keith!

Secret Service says “Kill him” allegation unfounded

SCRANTON – The agent in charge of the Secret Service field office in Scranton said allegations that someone yelled “kill him” when presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s name was mentioned during Tuesday’s Sarah Palin rally are unfounded. …

The Scranton Times-Tribune first reported the alleged incident on its Web site Tuesday and then again in its print edition Wednesday. The first story, written by reporter David Singleton, appeared with allegations that while congressional candidate Chris Hackett was addressing the crowd and mentioned Obama’s name a man in the audience shouted “kill him.”

News organizations including ABC, The Associated Press, The Washington Monthly and MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann reported the claim, with most attributing the allegations to the Times-Tribune story. …

I’m confident that Keith Olbermann will promptly issue a prominent retraction. As will ABC, the A.P., and other news outlets who reported Barack Obama’s allegation as fact, without checking.

And pigs will fly …

Maybe Barack should just stick to the “race card.” That’s worked quite well enough in silencing the timid, in-the-tank media.

        And this will apply how? Joe W. is an honest hardworking guy who is in the process of trying to buy the plumbing business and he asked an honest question of The Messiah, and for once got an honest answer from Mr. Doublespeak Obama. He wants to take money from us hardworking small business owners and give it to the poor bum on the street who doesn’t want to work.

        I think The Great One has more than a little trouble coming down the pike for his campaign. His Socialist agenda, his problems with Acorn, Ayers, Wright, Farrakahn(sp?), etc. I watched his face last night and he was having trouble keeping himself under control Contrary to what the media are reporting.

        So don’t get your hopes up too high that this stretch of relationship is going to do anything to what the real issue is: And that Obama is not being truthful about anything and has no business being President of the United States.

        It’s their main defensive strategy, when something unpleasant comes into the narrative, attack the messenger. The reasoning behind this is that people make decisions as much on their faith in the “authority” (whether moral, logical, legal, etc.) of the messenger, as they do on the actual content of the message. If the messenger is not respected, the message is rejected, no matter how good. So the O’s are reduced to this hate tactic, because if they can’t counter the truth of a message, they must discredit the messenger. Same with Sarah Palin and the inexperience, then sex/morality based, attacks. I must say trying to discredit someone by saying she is lying about her baby to protect her daughter is the most contorted and desperate idea–makes me have a good opinion of Sarah that they have to stretch like that! So you can see, attacking the messenger can backfire too.

      A Secret Service Agent who was at the Event interviewed 21 people that were there, none of them heard anything like that, the ONLY PERSON that heard that remark was a Newspaper reporter. Sounds like someone in the tank for Obama lying, I think i will take the word of 20 Agents.

I have been stunned by the disgraceful behavior of my former “friends” Democrats who were previously for Hillary. I work with these people and they are astonishingly cruel -towards Palin, Bristol, McCain, Cindy. It feels like harrassment and I can say I am sorry I let anyone know my feelings. I am doubly sorry to see how disgraceful their behavior is. Ultimately, these aren’t people I would respect anyway. Just a rude awakening. I highly recommend keeping ones mouth shut if you live in NYC. It’s too painful. I can go on and on about what it is like in the streets here. It’s sick. Absolutely Obama sick.

      Great Blog! I didn’t post on your blog, but I will here.

      At the very beginning of Obama’s coronation, and the Dems throwing Hillary to the dogs, I didn’t keep quiet and I’m still not keeping quiet. I’m coming right out and telling friends, acquaintances and anybody else who asks that “yes, I am a registered Democrat, but I will be casting my vote this time for John McCain” I have told the poor unsuspecting phone caller from the DNC, DLC and all the various Democratic campaign offices that I will not be voting for any Democrat this election, I will be voting a straight Republican ticket. I think the word hostile has been written by my name on the voter printout.

      I even went down to our County Republican headquarters a couple of weeks ago, gave them a small donation, picked up two McCain/Palin yard signs and two bumper stickers.

      Am I angry? You betcha. I’m Italian and Scotch/Irish, so you don’t get in my face and tell me what to do.

      Sorry didn’t mean to rant. Once again, a great Blog.

    Hubby played a clip that we had to stop, making an entire segmeent in to racist lies. Because an audience member yells out Bomb Obama, I assume that is correct, she goes on to an entire tyrade of attacks against blacks. Gee, what a relief, we thought she was trying to claim the guy was talking about the inexperienced narcissist that was running for president. Who knew he meant some code name for all blacks or AA’s. Their racists claims are REALLY getting to be a bit much.

I think last time I watch was when Oberstupid interviewed Hillary. I think that was the very last time.

        Notice that the headline says BZero is up by six (49%-43%) but if you read the whole piece they admit that using the traditional methodology they’ve used in all other elections, the real numbers are 49%-47%.

    OT: Alert! Today I received a phishing email purportedly from the “IRS”, stating that I was eligible for a stimulus refund. I already received my refund last April.
    According to the IRS, they NEVER send unsolicited emails to taxpayers. Of course, it was asking for all my personal info. I reported this to the IRS.

    I STRONGLY SUSPECT THIS CAME FROM AN OBLAHMATRON. THE REASON:

    IT WAS RECEIVED AT AN EMAIL ADDRESS I ONLY USE FOR BLOGGING, SUCH AS THIS ONE AND THE LARRY SINCLAIR SITE ATTACKED BY THE OBAMA THUGS.

    I never understand why politicians think that attacking the voters is a good thing? It’s like the race card carpet bombing strategy. Why would they do such a thing? Insulting someone NEVER changes someone’s mind. And take it from someone who’s seen the minority card used (albeit a different one), what happens is that people shut up. Only the strongest who have nothing to lose publicly will speak up (like the brave people at NQ). That’s why the MSM is the way it is. They HAVE to go along with it.

    So I think the polls can’t possibly reflect the truth about how people will vote if a good percentage of them will not speak up anymore. People get tired of being wrongfully called racist after a while.

The polls are shifting, the internals even moreso. America has flirted with Obama but is getting ready to break up and marry McCain.

This morning I woke up, shook off the after affects of the debate, stretched down & touched my toes, splashed water on my face, opened the window & saw my resident cardinals swooping from my autumn blooming clematis, watched a blue jay with his bill buried in the soil looking for a worm, smelled my husbands coffee percolating, listened to my 6 & 7 year old debate over who was smarter…Martha or WordGirl, kissed my 20 month old on her carrot top (because her face was covered with strawberry jam) and sat down at the table to do my morning crossword puzzle.

      I have to have confidence that Americans have not completely lost their minds. Alls right in the world with me; and the MSM and pollsters can kiss my ass.

    The accepted definition of the Bradley effect has been white voters who “are” racist not revealing that they will vote against the black candidate. I don’t think there is much of that anymore. Obama could turn white as snow and people who really are racists could still find a million reasons not to vote for him.

    But the Bradley effect will play large in this election in a different way. This time the polls are not being skewed by people who “are” racist, but by people who are sick and tired of being “called” racist. They are the ones, even if it only 5% or so, who when polled are thinking, this person knows who I am and where I am. If I say McCain is a check being put beside “racist” with my name in some database? So they say Obama, smirk and hang up.

    This is apart of the 6 point bias that is built into the polls. The pollsters aren’t doing it on purpose, but they have no way of detecting it or removing it. And it was put there by Obama’s own strategy of using the race card. Justice.

      Anyway, your comment, Shiloh, is pretty indicative of a conversation that I had today. In talking to a clerk (female) at the market this morning, She got a peak at the bumper stickers I picked up yesterday, that were still in my purse and wanted to see them. I had one that said ‘Another Democrat for McCain/Palin’ and another that said “Women for McCain/Palin” (That one was pink.) She said “You know what? I’m the same! I’ve been a Democrat for a long time and I cannot vote for Obama.” I told her that I hadn’t put them on our vehicles ’cause I figured I would then be dubbed a racist and could have issues with the rabid Oborg roaming the city in search of a fight.

      You know, even in a peaceful town, Obama has stirred up racial tensions that I thought were long-dead.

    My husband said someone on TV said Joe the plumber doesn’t have a plumbing license. I didn’t ask who said it or anything about the details. Everyone but Fox will try to character-assassinate anyone who dares to question Bobo.       True, but in Ohio you need a license to do commercial work but not residential so he is legal. There is a tax lien of $1200 but the state said that it was common in Ohio to have a tax lien and that he may not know that it’s there. The $1273 lien that has not yet been served is for an unpaid medical bill. Basically, it’s all bullshit claims.

      I don’t know the laws in the State of Ohio, but here in Florida you can be an employee of a contractor (plumbing, electrical, air conditioning etc.) and not be licensed unless the county requires a journeymans card. The company itself would have to have a licensed contractor to qualify the company and they could then have employees who are not licensed work under them. The licensed qualifier is responsible for their work. I heard on tv that “Joe the plumber” is studying for the test in Ohio to become a licensed plumber.

      My husband and I own a small business. He is a licensed electrical sign contractor. His employees do not have to be licensed.

      My brother in law worked for an air conditioning company. He was not licensed. He studied for and took the test to get his air conditioning license and later started his own business.

      Obama talks a lot about a lot of things but I don’t think he really understands them except for what he has read or is told. As a small business owner, it is exciting for us to have a really good year and have some extra money at the end of the year. We can then think about upgrading equipment, or replacing older trucks. Things that help keep us in business.

        I just got a letter from the McCain campaign. While his campaign cannot accept donations, we can still contribute to his Compliance Fund. Contributions to the Compliance Fund cannot be used for the election campaign but they can be used to pay for legal and accounting costs associated with complying with the election laws. This helps because if not for this fund, these expenses would have to come out of the General Election Fund. So by making a donation to the Compliance fund, it helps free up General Election Funds to do the crucial things in these last few weeks.

        I’m going to John McCain’s website right now to make a small contribution. Anyone want to go with me?

    Got a political mailing today from a couple of local dems (this is a blue county in a red state they claim is battleground). The mailing advertised openly these incumbent dems are voting McCain… Country before Party! They certainly have my vote.

      Two problems with the infomercial. 1. That McCain camp already knows is coming and can preempt some of it. But 2. I predict that Oblahblah will use the 30 minutes to unwrap all of his 15 tax cuts and all of his 10 program expansions. He will probably be using Power Point graphs, tables and some videos. So I am not predicting a whole lot of success with his unpacking. It will look as the definition of Sen. Government.

      The next day actually, McCain will showcase a new ad called Sen Government mocking and deriding the whole tower of babel cockamamie scheme. I think the only ones he will convince by them will be his base.

    I cannot believe what Obama supporters are online doing to this guy. Personal information..slandering his name left and right. This is ONE person. Are they so viscious that one individual is not allowed to actually question Obama? What is happening to the people in this country? So we dont even have the right to say in public that were not voting for Obama nor can we question him? Obama supporters have become literally rabid online about this guy. One blog stated they even put his home address online. They are treating this guy like he is some kind of serial killer or something. I have never seen anything like what I have witnessed this afternoon. But even more, it shows exactly how Obama supporters have been acting from day one. Now, people are scared to even voice there opinions because of how they act.

    The article was actually from the associated press. Many of us don’t trust the AP because we have found they twist the truth.

    This is what Gov. Crist said:

    Crist said in the closing days of any campaign “there are some who sort of enjoy chaos.” There may be more of that going on than fraud, he said.

    The headline I believe is the AP’s twist on What Crist said. I didn’t see in the article where he mentioned the republicans. What I believe he was saying is that there may be more chaos than fraud and he didn’t say who was committing the chaos.

    I’m sure I sound cynical but we have had to be because of so many lies by the media.
