The Obama campaign canceled the National Anthem at Thursday’s event in Londonderry, NH. Canceled it for time to have more speakers.
Returning to Mack’s Apples, Barack Obama spoke to an audience of thousands in my small home town of Londonderry, NH. Mack’s is the center of our town and a wonderful spot for a fall event in New Hampshire. Orchard owner, Andy Mack Sr. is an active Obama supporter who graciously allows any candidate to use his land for outdoor events.

A Londonderry high school student was supposed to sing the national anthem at Barack Obama’s rally Thursday. Just hours before he was to hit the stage, the Obama campaign told him he was no longer needed! 17-year old Zach Bengal says he was bumped because the campaign had to make time for more speeches. He says the campaign worker who broke the news was apologetic and said they’d keep him in mind for the future.

Am I the only proud American who thinks there is always time for this one minute show of national unity and national pride? nh
