Cocktails & Open Thread

Or beer … or sparkling water (I’d kill for some San Pellegrino about now).

Earlier, Truthteller e-mailed all the NoQ writers with the Question Of The Day: “Why is Joe the Plumber subjected to more media scrutiny than Tony Rezko?” What a question. Here are John McCain’s remarks to a crowd today, via Drudge, in defense of “Joe the Plumber”:

It’s great to be here in Miami. Florida is a must-win state on November 4th, and with your help, we’re going to win Florida, and bring change to Washington, DC. … [T]here was a lot of talk [in the debate] about Senator Obama’s tax increases and Joe the Plumber. Last weekend, Senator Obama showed up in Joe’s driveway to ask for his vote, and Joe asked Senator Obama a tough question. I’m glad he did; I think Senator Obama could use a few more tough questions.

The response from Senator Obama and his campaign yesterday was to attack Joe. People are digging through his personal life and he has TV crews camped out in front of his house. He didn’t ask for Senator Obama to come to his house. He wasn’t recruited or prompted by our campaign. He just asked a question. And Americans ought to be able to ask Senator Obama tough questions without being smeared and targeted with political attacks.

There’s video of McCain’s remarks below:

The question Joe asked about our economy is important, because Senator Obama’s plan would raise taxes on small businesses that employ 16 million Americans. Senator Obama’s plan will kill those jobs at just the time when we need to be creating more jobs. My plan will create jobs, and that’s what America needs.

Senator Obama says that he wanted to spread your wealth around. When politicians talk about taking your money and spreading it around, you’d better hold onto your wallet. Senator Obama claims that wants to give a tax break to the middle class, but not only did he vote for higher taxes on the middle class in the Senate, his plan gives away your tax dollars to those who don’t pay taxes. …

Read all.

      :)

  • Soldier of Christ

That is a big issue- driver license- First, without it you normally don’t vote- because most illegal aliens have a special social security that can be flagged when the voting card is present. There is a list the the poll worker looks at and compares- so I really don’t know why Mccain is not harping on that issue- I guess he is for immgration and don’t want to alien the hispanics at this point. Fine, that makes sense- but illegals don’t vote- so it wouldn’t make a difference. But, I am happy that Lieberman is with Mccain for the Jewish vote- trust me they are a big force in my state of Florida. Cubans have always been republican- that is why this state is always “red”. The only ones that are voting for him are thugs- tattoes and tongue pin whores- hip-hop wanna kill your mother folks” and elites from the universities. Most of the intellect cubans aren’t fooled.

    • Soldier of Christ

I mean voting for “the one” from my last sentence- not Mccain.

Esp since Castro has come out in support of Oblahblah. That’ll go over big in the Florida Cuban community. Not!

Well the internet was scrubbed pretty well by the time Obama declared he was running. Even so, there are straggling remnants of quips from Obama that let us see a glimpse into his mind. Like this from the Internet archive of the Chicago Reporter from August 1990. From the contempt he shows in this quote toward “white males”… how much deeper must his contempt run for Governor Palin? And why is it starting to look like this is a major and deep unresolved issue with this man? What would this mean for the country as to how we relate to one another… and how will this affect how we as a nation relate to the rest of the world?

Obama noted, that it may be time to ask if minorities are getting the same right to be “mediocre” as white males.

I think Obama is proof of the minority “halo effect” usually referred to in the context of Asian-Americans.

Obama himself is proof that minorities can be just as if not more than mediocre than white males.

      • Zeke

I find it highly ironic that Obama fought to prove that minority graduates of second or third tier schools are just as mediocre as the white guys who did the same thing.
Nothing grates more than being told you are less mediocre than somebody…

A blizzard of lies? So I assume you feel paying taxes is a patriotic act, even when hiking taxes is the worst thing any administration could do in a sinking economic climate.

Unless, of course, said administration wants to will a full-scale economic collapse into being.

And if the voting fraud issue is concocted, exaggerated then I guess the FBI is simply amusing itself with its on-going investigation and that Obama is trying to distance himself from ACORN for some mysterious, inexplicable reason. Because the questions are too hard.

    Boo-hoo!

The absolute balls of the Democratic Party and Obama supporters to suggest a private citizen be vetted before airing a simple question to Obama is beyond belief.

It wasn’t the question that Joe the Plumber asked, off the cuff when Senator Obama walked around Plumber Joe’s neighborhood.

It was the revealing answer that Obama gave. The mask slipped and we heard something most Americans do not, will not agree with:

    Spread the wealth.

That’s not Joe the Plumber’s problem. That’s the problem with the Far Left, now revealing it’s underbelly with the vicious, distorted and totally un-American viewpoint that they truly have.

A blizzard of lies? Look in the mirror! Then say, blah, blah, blah. Trust me, you’ll hear it.

Obama Supporter Assaults Female McCain Volunteer in New York

As the media fumes over nonexistent hate at Palin speeches, it ignores leftists who go berserk on city streets.

Manhattan: “Defendant grabbed the sign [informant] was holding, broke the wood stick that was attached to it, and then struck informant in informant’s face thereby causing informant to sustain redness, swelling, and bruising to informant’s face and further causing informant to sustain substantial pain.”
(The names have been redacted out of respect for people’s privacy)

The overly formal document doesn’t mention this important detail: the victim was a small, quiet, middle-aged woman wearing glasses, and the attacker was a loud, angry man who went into orbit at the mere sight of McCain campaign signs.

I am glad to read that. I don’t think people should vote for someone out of protest(anger)…

I laughed so hard at McCain last night, honestly I didn’t think Obama was that funny, he had a few good ones but they seemed more like insults coming from him.

We all know Obama has ties to ACORN, we knew it back during the primary and so didn’t Obama’s supporters. They sent out e-mails and called people wanting to know if some ACORN person could stay at their home.

What they have done to Joe the plumber they can do to anyone of us. Did you read about the woman who had the SS sent to her home because an Obama supporter lied about what she said during a phone call? I think she refers to them as the “Thought Police” yes they wanted to know her thoughts about Obama. If they start locking people up for their thoughts half of America is going to prison.

      • Linda

I really didn’t see it that way. I thought he asked tough questions of Obama, and Obama weazled out. I don’t get the feeling he is in the tank for anybody, and he tried hard to be objective. Sometimes I think he could be a little less objective, but for the most part I didn’t think he was in the tank. Not sure why McCain hasn’t been on, he did say getting McCain to come on was easy, all he has to do is ask, I guess he has been on before.

        • lark

I think FoxNews divided the support for each candidate on proportional order. Some for O and some for Mac. Hannity/Colmes is balanced. Greta for Mc. O’Reilly for O. and so forth and so on. They want to exploit the fair and balanced because they think that way they’ll get more viewers. That because conservatives are no longer committed to the issues of the Republicans. They have withdrawn from the TV and from issue magnets. So Fox has to bank of F/B to maintain its leadership in the ratings. For CNN and MS is the other way. Conservatives will not go there anymore and their fate is with the left and Dems.

    • Docelder

After the Obama interview it was noticeable that O’Reilly was taken with him. I don’t know where O’Reilly gets off saying he was tough with Obama. O’Reilly screamed like “Dean” at Barney Frank… but was easier on Obama than Elizabeth Hasselbeck was. Ever since stocks went down… it’s all O’Reilly can do to talk about something else but his stocks. He has fallen to the kool-aid.

But believe me they are voting McCain on Nov 4th because they are disgusted and angry. An open thread with cocktails? Woohoo! You’ve all probably seen this, but I got it in my email and thought it was cute.

    Credit Crunch Advice

If you had purchased $1,000 of Nortel shares one year ago, they’d now be worth $49. With Enron, you would have $16.50 left from that original $1,000 investment. With WorldCom, you would have less than $5 left. If you had purchased $1,000 of Delta Airlines shares you would have $49 left while if you had purchased United Airlines shares, you would have nothing left.

But if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer and then turned in the cans for recycling, you would have $214. Based on the above, the best current advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Barack Obama Revealed, A Dire Warning from an African American…

    Peace to all!!!
I have been hoping I would never have to write this article. I hoped it would never get to this point, which would force me to openly speak out against the first African American to seriously have a chance to be elected President of the United States.

But after reviewing all the Stanley Kurtz material on Barack Obama/Bill Ayers relationship, I’ve come to the conclusion Barack Obama is definitely under the influence of a radical ideology that is so dangerous, it could literally pose a danger to the very existence of the United States, especially when we have an economy already in crises, and a war in progress against one of the greatest threats we have ever faced, in Islamic terrorism.

I know Barack Obama. No I haven’t met Barack Obama personally, but I know many African Americans like him. African Americans who were born in the 1950’s and early 1960’s who are now in their 40 and 50’s in age. I am of that generation.

Our generation grew up personally witnessing the turmoil of the 1960’s and 70’s, which shaped our viewpoint of America. During the great civil rights movement of this era a very young radical element evolved and came into being in the Northern black co m m unities of major cities of America.

This element I refer to did not embrace the nonviolent civil disobedience philosophy of Martin Luther King. In fact we ridiculed King’s non-violent movement going on in the South. We wanted to meet violence with violence, and so organizations like the Black Panther Party, Student Non Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) (which later renounced non-violence) and The Nation of Islam came into being in cities like NY, Chicago, Boston, and LA. Those times and organizations produced leaders like Malcolm X, Stokely Carmichael, Huey Newton, the dis-Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Bobby Seale, and others.

In the mid 60’s those leaders of the black radical movement began to form alliances with white radical groups also dedicated to the use of violence in the opposition to American policies. Groups like the Weathermen (or Weather Underground as they later became known), the Yippies (Youth International party) , the SDS, had become active on American college campuses protesting the Vietnam war. These groups were led by people such as Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Bill Ayers, Berenedette Dohrn, Cathy Wilkerson. I remember them all. Young Kathy Boudin was one who died in preparation of a bomb.

At age 16, born and being raised in New York City, these people became my greatest political influence and also that of many other young African Americans, I came very close to joining the Black Panther Party, but in several years I was totally discouraged with that movement and embraced the teachings and beliefs of MLK.

But there are many AA’s who grew up in that era who never stopped believing the basic idea that America was a evil and racist place, although these same people moved into the mainstream of middle and upper class American society to have families, own homes, and get decent paying jobs, as they grew older.

I personally know many of them who still have a deep rooted, well hidden hatred, for white Americans, for perceived racial grievances, both past and present. These people will interact with whites on a daily basis, but in private in the presence of other AA’s express their true bitterness regarding this country, and the need for change, no matter how radical that change may be

Based on things I have heard and read of his associations in the 90’s with Bill Ayers and others,, when he was 34 and not 8 years old (as Barack relates his age to the bombing apex of Ayers, instead of when his true interaction occurred), I believe Barack Obama is one of those people with a basic belief that America is an evil and racist nation that needs radical change. I not only believe that of Barack, but of his wife Michelle too, who early in his campaign let slip her true feelings about this country.

I too once held that same bitterness, and I won’t claim it doesn’t some time well up in me. But I finally rejected , and am able to overcome the hatred and bitterness, as I came to understand through my Christian spiritual experience what the true causes of racism and all other hatred and disputes between humans truly stem from.

But I truly doubt Barack and Michelle have rejected their hidden rage and bitterness, under the warped hateful Afro-centric version of Christianity , which they were subjected to for many years under the pastor-ship Rev Jeremiah Wright.

Afro-centrisim is basically came into being to falsely legitimize the deeply hidden bitterness and hatred toward the white community. Instead of a true Christian spirituality which would cleanse the person of hatred and bitterness, Afro-centrism reinforces that hatred and bitterness. A couple of very subtle but sure signs of how Barack and Michelle truly feel about his country were his refusal to wear an American flag pin on his lapel, until media coverage of the issue forced him too, and Michelle’s statement about being feeling some pride for her country for the first time in her life. Every African American in this country from age 40-60 could probably identify with, and understood those two statements , one physical and one verbal, by the Obama’s.

But although I can identify with the Obama’s, feelings I can’t stay silent in the thought that this type of radicalism may soon sit as the executive head of our government. I feel African Americans in our sometimes blind rage about racism, have made many unholy alliances with less than stellar elements of the white community on a quest to press to their own agendas, to the detriment of ours.

I truly believe the relationship between Barack Obama and William Ayers epitomizes those unholy alliances of the 60’s and early 70’s, which driven from the streets, moved into the inner city black neighborhoods and schools of Chicago, morphed into something seemingly respectable, but only spreading the same hatred and bitterness.

My warning to all Americans both white and black (those AA’s who can overcome the vote black impulse) is that in Barack Obama, you are not getting Bill Cosby, you are getting a very well disguised version of Louis Farrakhan.

The question you need to ask yourself now and on Nov 4th is this.

Do you really want to put the toxic c o c ktail of a character mentored and tutored by Rev Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers in the White House?

Especially when this country is facing economic and security issues so critical our very existence is threatened.

    I do not.

Some African Americans will read this and brand me a traitor for this article. I say to them what good is changing America from what you may believe is bad to something much worse, for the small satisfaction of being able to say we have a black man in the White House.

So personally, with conflicting feeling about it, I’m rejecting the first African American nominated for the Presidency, for what I honestly believe is the future good and well being of this country.

I hope all those reading this will give serious consideration to what I present here, and do so too,

    • wodiej

wow….well said. Thank you for giving us some insight into how many blacks feel. I surmised that many still are very bitter. You said something that was the key to overcoming that and that was your spiritual awareness. Everyone has experienced injustice and most women still do every single day. But anger and bitterness solve nothing. However all of that energy channeled in a positive way could. I think the black community lacks the leadership needed to embrace that. Think what it would be like for the black community to overcome that hatred and then look back and say “we suffered but we put our faith in God and got through it and are a better person today because of it. We won’t allow that to hold us back but use it to help move us forward”. This issue could be very empowering for them but they are being led by people who keep perpetuating the bitterness and holding onto the past.

      • d2d

This is the most eloquent, thoughtful and forceful letter I’ve seen in all the blogosphere since the primary’s began.

The author’s candor and reason gives me some hope that all AA’s aren’t “identity” voting but rather what is good for “our” country.

I can only hope that Barry nor the MSM learns the author’s identity. If they do we’ll soon be witnessing the MSM camped out at her home vetting her and, oh of course, lest I forget HuffHo and Kos will be sure to post her home address and phone number all over the blogs.

  • Shiloh

We need to have one of those “national conversations.” This time about whether we want to redistribute the wealth or create new wealth. If THAT becomes central the next two weeks, McCain wins easily. Obama will be desperate to keep the subject elsewhere – Joe, Palin, whatever just not that.

I already voted for McCain/Palin and I didn’t even need to plug my nose or straight shot whiskey or anything. In fact, voting has never felt so darn good.

I’m not alone. There are hundreds of thousands of us liberals out there who will put country before party.

    Hi all,
Thought you all at NoQ would like to hear about this!
A few minutes ago my phone rang…when I answered, this is the recorded message I heard.
“Hello, my name is Terry, and I am a plumber from Carlisle calling on behalf of the campaign for change. Barack Obama has the…”

I hung up the phone after that..laughing until the tears poured….
Obamadinga has hired a plumber to record a message for him….HHAAAA HHAAA,,,, snicker snicker…giggle giggle..

    • Lindsy

Obama “I have a plumber too!”

      • yttik

        ROFL!

    • DAB

Boy they sure are quick on the plunger aren’t they?

WE’RE NOT A SOCIALIST NATION YET—WILL SOMEONE TELL OBAMA’S WIFE???

    Let’s call a spade, a spade. I recognize a socialist when I see it.
Michelle Obama to a crowd in North Carolina:
“the truth is most Americans don’t want much. Folks don’t want the whole pie.
Most Americans feel blessed to thrive a little…….but that’s out of reach for them.
The truth is, in order to get things like Universal Health care and a revamped Education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more…………..

    From the U.C.L.A. speech:
“and Barack Obama will require you to work……
He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism, so that you put down your division,
that you come out of your isolation, that you come out of your comfort zones,
that you push yourself to be better, and that you engage………….
Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.”

    • yttik

LOL, I’ll shed my cynicism when hell freezes over.

Divisions and diversity are what makes America great, unity is so highly over-rated. Every great American accomplishment from ending slavery to granting women the right to vote came about because people were divided and not willing to unite with those in power.

You can never be intimidated. You can, however, allow yourself to be intimidated. I don’t see in Joe’s eyes one who would allow that. He will be just fine

Now Susan. If you pour a half a shot of brandy into your wine you get a plumbers port. It is very fine. Drop a couple of acorns in the glass and you will have something to spit into the fire before you stand for a refill.

Some people put a shot of Jaggermiester (sp) in their beer and call it the ObombAyers. But I would not recommend it.

Candy Crawley said Joe should call his company Joe the Plumber. I think he should run for office with the tag line: I’ll clean the sh*t out of the system.

Does anybody here work for a company that grosses less than $250K?

  • Dawnelle

I never thought I’d enjoy Laura Ingram(sp) but she’s been right ON about the fact the media is a HUGE hypocrite over JOE the Plumber (actually parking out side his house) but we here *crickets* about Ayers, Wright, Pfleger I never saw the first NBC “investigation” into Barry Husseins crooked dealings with Acorn, Ayers, Rezko, etc!

    *CRICKETS*

    WHAT HACKS!

Someone should yank their license. They are fraudulently pretending to be a “news” agency when they’re really a gossip & bias opinion cheerleading show for the far left elite & bored movie stars. PERIOD.

    and good evening
I’ll take a bloody mary (Hold the lime) please and can you throw in a HUGE piece of celery and also bring some Crystal Hot Sauce???

Not asking for much am I? hehee ;-)

    • Dawnelle

      and sorry for typos

      hear not here, etc

    • DAB

I know — I actually enjoyed Laura’s rant tonight too. I agreed with absolutely everything she said and the Obama supporter she had on after that to defend the appropriateness of bludgeoning Joe the Plumber would have been hilarious if it weren’t so out-and-out ridiculous.

You just can’t make this stuff up!

  • lark

This is what I think. Those voting for Obama on the issue of distribution of wealth – as if he was going to send them a good hefty ‘refund’ check are the ones that will be the most disappointed of all. Obama’s tax increase for the wealthy will inevitably end up benefiting the wealthy much more than any poor person. The pressure in the Democratic Congress would be to attempt to balance the budget with that money and not to distribute it. And a balance budget mostly helps the rich.

I would argue that Obama lies as usual by letting the concept of ‘spread the wealth’ ride the top of the wave. Obama as I have argued before is not about ‘spread the wealth’ but about a strong centralized controlling government. The money collected from the rich would be used to direct economic growth through industry incentives. It will end up in the hands of the rich first.

People just delude themselves believing Obama will help the poor. The best way to help the poor is to foster the private sector as McCain is committed to do. The private sector has a stake in fostering individual and independent personal growth and a vibrant wide-ranging consumer society.

    • wodiej

businesses don’t pay taxes, we do. a tax increase will just prompt business to cut back on jobs, pay and benefits.

  • 30yrdem-not any more

It is a little cool here so I am going to sit back and have a cappuccino and enjoy the rest of Laura Ingram…yes she put it out there about NBC and Joe.

    • AF catfish

Lou Dobbs was all over it too. Even the Democratic party pundit/guest said Obama and Biden were being “obnoxious” in ridiculing the plumber.

      • 30yrdem-not any more

        glad to hear it.

        • Dawnelle

Hitchens (the moronic DRUNK) hates Sarah!

How does that NOT surprise me! NO eurotrash like McCain/Palin. NO one with their SNOOT stuck up in the stratosphere likes McCain/Palin.

          The list of McCain/Palin Haters

          1. Hollywood
          2. Women haters
          3. Moonbat Leaf Eaters
          4. Euro – trash
          5. Terror types of every kind
          6. Washington insiders
          7. Every news agency except FOX
          8. Punks
          9. College & teenagers

feel free to add to the list

          • JP

            10. Women who are jealous of another woman’s success

I have to address the Euro – trash…

Maybe Euro- trash exists here in Europe, and all are so in love with Obama, but I doubt that is the case. Remember it is the Obama team that seems to control the media dialogue. We have seen many critical articles coming out of Europe, but are those concerns being aired out in the US media? No, because these concerns are what Obama calls ‘distractions’. I actually feel there are concerned people in Europe, but because of the circus around Obama people are afraid to speak out. I am in Europe and when this thing started and there were concerned voices about Obama they were silenced. Political correctness took over in a wrong way and now it has just grown out of proportion. Obama has taken advantage of political correctness and abused it to his advantage.

I am not trying to defend ‘Europe’, just airing out my observations. I think people are concerned, but are cornered in how to express it. Case in point, Joe the Plumber. If Obama ‘wins’ this war against Joe the Plumber, more people will be silenced and his abuse and thuggery will be further awarded.

            I am worried about this.

      • DAB

Saw that also and was cheering Dobbs on. He’s correct about half the time and this was definitely in that column.

Hey everyone. In my opinion we are in good shape right now in spite of what the MSM, trolls, polls and naysayers in our own ranks are thinking.

Mac did well at the debate and delivered us Joe the plumber. Obama branded himself a socialist with his wealth redistribution nonsense and now has the nerve to go after Joe. The nasty trolls are now being noticed by the whole nation not just us online activists, for going after Joe so viciously. People are bullshit about ACORN and its only a matter of time before all the indy’s connect the dots between Obama, ACORN, Ayers and the rest of the radical bozos trying to take over our nation.

Joe the plumber has been a godsend or real-time Karma if you prefer. Most Americans would rather let the wealthy keep their wealth in the hope someday they will be in the same position.

As I stated earlier, Joe is now the GOP’s Cindy Sheehan. One of us people standing up against an evil and corrupt machine with Bush/Obama at the helm. Mac is now being viewed like us PUMAs viewed Hillary: one of the people. Obama is now the “establishment” corrupt politician.

Keep your nose to the grindstone people and work your hearts out for Mac and America! We can, will and must restore freedom and liberty to our republic. Mac is the first step. We must vow not to allow a bloodless coup d’état.

Take the night off if you are feeling down. I took the afternoon off and feel great! Catch you all later.

      I am in total agreement!

The Dem party is asking the Justice Department to appoint a Special Prosecutor because Republicans are asking too many questions about vote fraud:

The Obama campaign announced Friday that it is asking Attorney General Michael Mukasey to turn over any investigations of voter fraud or voter suppression to Special Prosecutor Nora Dannehy, the same special prosecutor recently appointed to investigate the U.S. attorney firing scandal.

The fake attorney firing “scandal” never went anywhere and now Nora needs something to waste her time on.

They are setting up a case for “moral equivalence” here.

Bencal, who sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theatre, had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. Bencal said he was told by the campaign the decision was a simple programming change to make room for another speaker.

“I guess it just wasn’t meant to be,” Bencal said.

Front page at CNN.com is Biden bashing Palin for her “pro America” comments.

And you should see the beating she is taking for these comments:

““We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C.,” Palin said at a Greensboro, NC fundraiser Thursday. “We believe, we believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard-working, very patriotic, pro-America areas of this great nation. This is where we find the kindness and the goodness and the courage of everyday Americans: those who are running our factories and teaching our kids and growing our food and are fighting our wars for us, those who are protecting us in uniform, those who are protecting the virtues of freedom”

The media is disgusting in this election, I wish we had a way to vote them out!

McCain is campaigning in PA because the state is close,no matter what the polls and pundits say. To McCain’s good luck, Rep. Murtha came out yesterday to say west PA residents are racists. They were pissed when Obama said they were bitter and clinged to religion and guns. Now they will be doubly pissed that on top of bitter they are racists. And Obama wants to spread the wealth too. Nice going guys.
McCain knows that if he wins PA,OH and FL,it’s good bye and good night Obama.

    • Lizzie Struthers

Think if Hillary and Bill had campaigned for McCain and Palin. Just think of it a minute. Don’t think too long of course.

    Hello Guys,

Looking for advice about which is the easiest tooth whitening tools to buy?

For me it has been very hard to come across the right information as far as I can see. One place tells you one thing and a different person tells you something completely the opposite!
And, I thought the smartest thing to do is get practical information from you people as you possibly have personal experience about these things.

Any feedback will be very appreciated.

    Thanks in advance guys.

Obama is not going to win Ohio and the ruling is probably correct. I haven’t read it but if Scalia and Roberts voted it down I’m willing to accept it needed to go down. These flimsy efforts never produce results. maybe a couple thousand votes, all of which can be challenged after the election if it is that close. Bush won Ohio by 120,000 votes, McCain will do at least as well.

  • Elle

If there is any justice then the people of Ohio will take notice and stand up .Undecided Voters and late shifters for McCain.

Every American should be furious over the treatment of Joe!!! Our problem is, every group is organized but us. I used to think I loved everything about our country, now I find I despise almost 50% of my fellow Americans!
