Remember when Barack described Ayers as, “just some guy from the neighborhood?” Well, we now have Bill Ayers’ account from 1997. According to Ayers:

Now that’s a neighborhood–Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright, Bill “the terrorist” Ayers, and Barack “Aspiring Golden Child” Obama. Even though Obama was a practicing lawyer, Ayers describes him as “the writer.”
Hell, and Barack had not bought his nifty home yet with the help of Tony Rezko (who lived elsewhere).
Oh, almost forgot. Barack really liked Ayers’ book. Told the newspaper so:
