Biden Guarantees an International Crisis in Six Months if Obama Wins [DOUBLE UPDATED]

[UPDATE from Larry Johnson: My friend, Joe Wilson, alerted me to the following video. It is vital we remember what it is like to have a nice guy who is unprepared to handle a crisis in the White House. It also is instructive to remember that it was John McCain who bucked the Republican leadership and pressed the issue of having the 9-11 Commission. That would not have happened without McCain's intervention. Just another uncomfortable fact.

UPDATE II: Here's the note from Joe Wilson that accompanied the video--Larry,
While I know that No Quarter remains the go to place for those who doubt that Obama is a worthy candidate for President, I think it is important to at least remember what John McCain’s party has done to this country over the past eight years. With that in mind, I wanted to invite your attention to a short (six minute) film put together by a two highly respected film makers here in Santa Fe. It reviews in poignant images the 9/11 attack and the response of W. in the school. While we all have heard the My Pet Goat story, it is here contrasted with events as they unfold contemporaneously in New York. I think that everybody ought to be reminded that this is the party that John McCain represents before they step in the voting booth. Thanks.
Joe]

Biden to Supporters: “Gird Your Loins” from ABC News Matthew Jaffe:

This is from the mouth, or the bigmouth of Senator Joe Biden, Obama’s running mate:

Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

I really can’t even comment about the gravity of these remarks – but leave you to Joe himself:

Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.

“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”

“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it,” the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. “This guy has it. But he’s gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?’ We’re gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I’m asking you now, I’m asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you’re going to have to reinforce us.”

“There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision’,” Biden continued. “Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”
Biden emphasized that the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border is of particular concern, with Osama bin Laden “alive and well” and Pakistan “bristling with nuclear weapons.”
“You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region,” Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. “The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it’s real.”

“We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes,” he cautioned. “It’s so much more important than that. It’s so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it.”

I left the entirety of his statements here because it sounds to me like this man is babbling. So at the head of the ticket we have someone thoroughly unprepared to deal with any crisis. And number two on the ticket sounds less than coherent and certainly irresponsible.

Then after he ran off at the mouth for twenty minutes, he noticed that the press was squirreled away in the back of the ballroom.

“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.

This is not a joke, Senator Biden.

I do not want to elect a man who is going to invite people to put us in harm’s way. Obviously no one is going to mess with John McCain. So what are you trying to say here?

The other scenario is that this sounds almost Bush-like: predicting crisis that we are going to have to answer…what are we being dragged into? What is he hinting at?

Do his statements sound sane and sober you? Is this the ticket any sensible person would want to vote for?

Chat away.

  • lisa in va

I don’t understand him. Is he trying to lose this election? What an idiot. Of course, this is good for McCain.

  • NewHampster

Maybe Joe and Bambi have a Hotline direct to Bin Laden. I mean they need it in order to have friendly chats without pre-conditions.

  • jmm

Sane and sober. I don’t think those words apply to Biden.

  • WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName

Say it ain’t so Joe…you mean if we vote for Barky that our vote will guarantee a terrorist attack on the US?!

That’s the best reason of all NOT to vote for him.

  • Wiley

What’s scary is that Biden has access to sensitive foreign affairs info. Is it possible that old Joe is basing this on something more than just a hunch?

  • WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName

Yes, I can’t wait to see McCain’s ad, with Biden as the speaker saying these very words!

  • Diana L. C.

Sounds like they have plans we don’t even want to know about. Obama is brilliant? He’s smart as a snake, for sure. Remember the old song about the women who cared for the snake? A snake can only be a snake–smart or dumb.

Maybe we do need an October surprise very soon.

    Vote McCain/Palin!

  • ford

What is Biden saying here…isn’t this a great reason NOT TO VOTE for this man???

Hillary has to be hysterical. This is VERY DAMAGING, and should be a spot for McCain ASAP…make sure the audio is used.

People will not believe that Biden could say something so dumb….they will accuse McCain of race baiting…

  • Sarracuda In So Cal

Well as long as the liberal left wing media doesn’t report this no one is gonna know, so whose gonna spread it around? If Sarah had said this, WOW, imagine the coverage, basically Joe is saying that in the next 6 months, maybe less, we are gonna be in some deep doo doo and Obama won’t know what to do, WHAT A SHOCK!!

  • NewHampster

By the way. I think they all want to lose. At least the powers behind the scenes. Nobody in their right mind wants to take over from shrub.

A one termer is almost guaranteed and if it’s Obiwan then the GOP can come back in as saviors in 2012.

  • lisa in va

Yeah, I can see it now…

BIDEN: “Ahh, well, I did say that, but McCain is using my words in his commercials…he’s racist!”

  • Leisa

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities

Good God, this is just four or five foreign policy problems we “might” have… and what Obama does will not be popular??

We must trust him? Like on the FISA vote? Obama has too many “questionables” about him for me to trust him.

    Too.scary.for.words.

  • jrterrier

If you listen to the entire segment, it’s even worse. because he says that a situation only becomes a crisis when mishandled and he rattles off a list, including Bosnia, Iraq and Somalia. he says Bosnia was handled well and it didn’t become a crisis. so if you analyze what he is saying when he is promising us a crisis, what he is telling us is that Obama will mishandle the situation (no doubt with Joe’s expert help) and therefore we will have a crisis.

by the way, can we start a thread that tells mccain that he must demand that the networks give him equal time to Obama’s 30-minutes buys the Saturday before the election. this is too big to allow. Obama cannot buy this election — with foreign money and with donations from will good and the other phony donors.

it would be a good strategy, were the stakes — with a nuclear Pakistan losing control and Iran on the way to becoming nuclear — not so grave.

Will those of you voting for Obama agree to this proposal? If not, you might want to rethink your vote:

    – - -

    Hey, Obama.

Let’s try out your “spread the wealth” approach pre-election to see how it works.

Last month you raised over $150 million.

It’s only patriotic; for everything over $250,000, give half to McCain.

    Come on, be neighborly.

O Holy One: Please, be an example; show us that you will do what the rest of us will be forced to do under your regime.

    Give McCain the money.

If not, should we just take it from you?

(You can call it an election “credit” if it makes you feel better.)

    Great comment, Lisa in VA.

Yes, the DRAFT, my thoughts exactly. Biden is a donkey. Really. A plain and simple donkey.

Primaries are a funny thing especially when Biden said in a debate that he stood by his statement that Obama is not ready to be president. Another thing that I’m wondering about is would Collin Powell have endorsed Hillary if she would have(should have)been the nominee? and if not, Why?

  • typewriterstreaming

“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know…”

Hey, Colin Powell, how’s that for a number two on the ticket.

    It’s astonishing. Just jaw dropping.

It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy.

Are you talking about the missile crisis? Oh PUH-LEASE. Self-congratulatory politics is what gets the United States into trouble in the first place. K moved the missiles in because JFK moved his missiles up to the Turkish border. When he finally backed down from the border K took his missiles back and let JFK take the credit. K was the diplomat and you were the fools.

Speak the truth and stop thinking your country’s leaders are right about everything.

this is who people want in the White House, I am scared, and I know that people in israel are SCARED TO DEATH, I have family there and they are absolutely TERRIFIED right now. Joe Biden basically says we are sitting ducks and telling our enemies HEY COME ON OVER AND ATTACK US, WE GOT NOTHING HERE. I have told people for months now, yes the economy is bad, but when we are being bombed every single day and there will be wars all around us, will make the economy the last thing we will worry about

  • athena

    MSNBC reported it!

  • kgirl1028

I love joe biden, i wish i livid in his state cuase i would vote for him next go round. Let’s think about this for a minute. If obama wins, we are going to get our butts beat, if we elect mccain nothing will happen because he’s been tested? now i know i don’t think like most people *sometimes that’s a good thing* but with all the countries that want obama as our president, with all the foreign leaders that want him as president, did biden pretty much just admit that the only reason they want obama in office is to kick our behinds because they think he’s weak and untested. Now i know Obots might not follow certain lines of reasoning, but ever now and again there is a glitch in their programming some thing call a survival instinct. Before they were running all smooth, but for ones that heard that, Syntax Error is popping up all over some of their screens.

Probably no video recored. This was a ” bitter ” moment .Stated behind closed doors at a private fundraiser.

If that is the case, this needs to go viral on every college campus in America. Please, one of you with the video skills, whip something up that can go on You Tube and send out to Facebook groups. I don’t want the draft reinstated. McCain said he would not reinstate the draft. This is a matter of critical importance.

  • Peggy Sue

Well, I had already read reports that the Homeland Security folks are expecting a terrorist attack or international fallout shortly after the election or the next POTUS is sworn in because it follows a pattern and apparently there’s “chatter” about it. What I found remarkable was Biden stating that Obama might not appear to be doing the right thing in the beginning but for supporters to stay with them because he’d have informed people around him.

    Huh?

Guess Biden just blew the idea that experience “doesn’t” count.

So when will Obama be ready? Day 100? After the first 1000 days?

This is nightmare city! Even his own VP doesn’t think he’s ready and is suggesting the international thugs will test the “new kid” on the block.

    Incredible!

  • IndieDogg

“…we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

This man has no governor on his mouth or, apparently, on his brain.

He not only knows there’s going to be a crisis, but he’s already predicted that Obama might screw it up?!

He puts it differently (see above) but he’s already saying, without having any idea what he’s talking about (what else is new), that “it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” In other words, you already know, Joe, that it’s going to “look like” you and BHO screwed up even though, predicting in advance, you’ll be actually right!! Though you have no clue what crisis you might be talking about.

Why can’t it look like you’re right from the start? If you’re right, why keep it a secret?

We have very little upon which to judge Barack Obama’s judgment but, judging from his selection of a Vice Presidential running mate (not even getting to the question of a candidate for “change” in Washington picking a guy who’s been there longer than McCain), he’s proved, once again, how “boneheaded” he is.

Joe Biden? In the White House?

Does Joe have meds? Is he taking them?

Obama’s “Spread the Wealth” Plan Raises Taxes on Two-Thirds of Small Business Profits

Obama’s Plan raises taxes on two-thirds of the small business profits generated in this country!!!

    http://www.atr.org/content/pdf/2008/oct/102008pr-smallbusinessprofits.pdf

Excellent explanation about why BO and his talking point minions are spewing lies with statistics.

Obama Tax Plan will KILL THIS FRAGILE ECONOMY!!!

Small businesses account for ALL of the net new job creation in this country. If Obama raises taxes on two-thirds of small business profits, it will have a very chilling effect on that job creation engine.

Please, people, get this word out before it’s two late. Email this link to as many people as you can and explain to them that we can’t afford to let his socialist agenda take us into another world-wide great depression.

Think about it… He will be taking cash from businesses that create jobs and handing it to people, most of whom pay no taxes at all. What do you think they will do with it? Will they be hiring? I doubt it.

This may be Biden’s intentional Freudian slip moment. Perhaps he is trying to tell the electorate something (by “us” reading between the lines), which he can then just chalk up as a “boneheaded” mistake like Oblockhead always does. I’m probably wrong but it is a potential explanation.

Also bizarre, it was a lead Politico article today about Obama’s driver. Someone else posted a link to it on another thread here earlier today. I’ll go look for it.

It made me think of a remark that Wallace made to McCain yesterday during Fox Sunday interview which made me think, huh? at the time. Wallace asked McCain about the mean-spirited hit piece the NYT ran against his wife Cindy McCain and whether Sen. McCain agreed with Cindy’s lawyer that ‘maybe the NYT should write a piece about Obama’s drug dealer’. McCain ignored the drug dealer reference altogether and just answered he hadn’t read it and recommended she not read it either. According to Politico, Obama’s driver resides in DuPage County, IL which is a very conservative/republican county.

I went to a Palin rally today in Loveland, CO and it was waayyy sold out and couldn’t get in! They didn’t even have enough room for all the folks to go into the spill over room. I heard the place holds 10,000 and then I’m guessing a few more thousand in the other room. Major bummer, I saw a few little girls who cried because they couldn’t get in. It broke my heart to see these little girls cry.

  • tzada

My wild speculation by connecting a known few comments is this. If war breaks out it will be women drafted and used as cannon fodder. We have already heard Obama suggest drafting women. We have evidence that women are hated by the Democratic elitists. We have Biden making remarks about unpopular methods. We also have Biden making suggestive remarks about what? Attacks? Is he inviting them?

All I know is that if I was on the fence and someone said those things I would leap to the right and land in the yard of the man with real experience and not the mouth of the norths running mate either.

Uhhh Senator Obama just HAD to bring his drama to my neck of the woods so to speak. We do things a little bit differently in the south. Out of all the black elected officials this state has. Why is it the only time something “racist” happens it happens to Obama? Everything and everyplace he goes turns to crap. Some newly discovered “racist” group just happens to manifest in front of a camera. Maybe if they stop asking questions ABOUT race people would not focus on it. People are not liking this guy at all because it is so obvious what he is doing.

Every single day there is a new story about some racist statements made to him where someone yells out a racial slur but no one seems to know where it came from but it makes it’s way to CNN.

Then they have the audacity to do interviews and put peoples names out there. But they might not want to do that because people in our military community will close ranks quick fast and in a hurry if those blogger fools do what they did to Joe the Plumber. Calling people racist because they choose to not vote for you is stupid.

After the feedback I got today to those on ground here in NC. People dont look to kindly on being labeled “racist” and embarrassed just to get the affirmative action vote. Someone probably should of told him and his bots Fayetteville is the home for Fort Bragg. Sometimes it pays to know who your insulting before you do it. Karma’s a bitch Barry. Yep. We may be calling Obama by a new name in the history books:”Barack McGovern Obama”.

Michael Signator is a friend of Obama. He was paid something like $50,000 during Obama’s campaign for Senate one year and paid other monies during other years. Not so much now though. I believe he was an adviser in some capacity. I read that he was also a bodyguard for Obama. He is a Chicago cop and lives in an apartment building not far from the Hyde Park area in Chicago. It may be in that part…not sure.

I have read that Obama came and went so many times to his apartment building, that many of those that live there have their own Obama stories. There is a health club there that Obama would go to. I read that it is not that nice there and wonder why Obama would choose to work out in that complex. Kind of strange that the Obama campaign has not released info on this guy and who he is. Obama would stop over for 15 minutes to a few hours to visit Michael.

I looked him up and someone on facebook shows up with that name. I have no clue if it is this guy or not. It all seems a little strange. With the Larry Sinclair thing, I am a little curious if there is some similarity. I am not into conspiracies, but that Larry guy sure is determined to get his story out. You have to wonder what Obama is doing over there besides working out.

Since Obama is so secretive, all we really can do is speculate. Could be nothing though. Even if it is something, like the MSM would cover it anyway.

But it’s big, something totally unexpected that will leave us all breathless.

Tinfoil hat? I’ll have to check the mirror or clean my contacts. But something is out there, forming on the edge.

    Strange.

If Biden hadn’t done this for years, I’d think he had Alzheimer’s. He sounds drunk at least. Not only does he babble out politically damaging things, but then he tells the press he shouldn’t have said them instead of trying to “clarify” his words! You’d think the Obamaniacs would be in rubber rooms by now from trying to justify all of Bobo’s rotten associations and Jojo’s boneheaded remarks!

People think Bush was the dumbest president ever, Bush looks like a member of MENSA compared to these two boobs. The media refuses to bring up what Joe said, ITS ON FREAKIN TAPE. Thanks Media, not only are you putting the most inexperienced radical racist into the White House, but they are putting our country at risk, thanks a lot media

We’ll all be scrambling to get into Mexico.

Seriously, the MSM owe Americans an answer to just what Joe Biden is talking about here. This is terrifying rhetoric, and if Joe knows something we don’t and is hinting about it, I think we need to know as much about it as he knows. To think the media are just passing this along without demanding further details from Biden is beyond disgusting.

I’ll defer to those who know Senator Biden better than do I but, from what I understand, none of this is new. This is who he is and always has been. He loves to hear himself talk and often doesn’t seem to care what it is he says, just so people are listening. Look, he’s run, or sort of run, for President and never got more than friends, family and, I’m thinking now, drinking buddies to vote for him. Now, I know throwing drinking buddies in there probably raises the number significantly but still never enough to get him out of the low single digits. And, that’s despite his self-proclaimed foreign policy expertise.

Thank goodness he’s in the Senate where he doesn’t actually conduct foreign policy.

Oh, wait…. he wants to be Vice President.

Oh, man, I have to go lie down.

No, on second thought, I’d rather….

Can you say Duke Lacrosse team. I recently read a book on that Case and alot of the same behavior was being displayed by blacks in North Carolina over something that was obviously a lie, but since some people have a problem with affluent whites they ruined several young mens life, and while i may not agree with them hiring a stripper many of Duke’s liberal faculty showed their bigoted behinds. I’m not sure if Whites in North Carolina have gotten over that, so obama needs to chill or it might back fire on him and the black community in north carolina so they need to shut up and vote for obama if that’s what they want to do.

Obama will do absolutely nothing for black people, after Nov 4 they are going to feel so used, it’s like trying to tell your girlfriend not to date a popular guy case he’s a rapist and she does it anyway. right now obama is firing them up because they are loyal to a fault and likely to riot should he loose. But when push comes to shove like in chicago those who benefit will be those who can get him to the next level and blacks don’t fit in that equation. How do i know this? Look at where obama lives, and look what he did to live there. No does that sound like a man concerned about the african american community. Obama is using them plain and simple, and should McCain win I hope Palin makes them pay for the rape kit.

  • Peggy Sue

Well, if that’s the coded message in Biden’s comments, it means that all these young kids, the most ardent Obama supporters will be thrown under the bus, into the threshing machine and they won’t know what’s hit them.

the “I promise a crisis within 6 months because Obama is an ass” bit was frightening yet also funny…

but this bit was pretty disturbing…

Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama.

Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”

why exactly if Obama wins will americans be so “unhappy” with The One?

    “GIRD YOUR LOINS” ? Indeed.

Gee, Biden seems to have it all figured out, does he? For this “chance” …and “I don’t know what” it is. He’s already sure the voters won’t like the decision Barry will make.

    mmhmmm

Is Joe telling us McCain’s and Obama’s transition briefings had some
revelations that we normally would not be made aware of if the running
mate didn’t have such a foot in mouth disease? Or just that he is
confident our enemies will still be standing there strong and ready to
test even the new young Senator from Illinois regardless of his symbolism
that has been marketed to our countries citizens?

I don’t think finding out if Obama can handle an international crisis
AFTER he is placed in the oval office is a reassuring prospect for a
majority of Americans. Maybe this was a good leak, so Americans can
really decide NOW who is best to handle such crisis that may come soon
after the next president has taken office, whether intentional or not,
with their judgement and foreign policy matters and experience. And
having as his running mate, the man telling us this piece of insight,
who was the man that wanted to break up Iraq in to 3 seperate coutnries,
doesn’t make me feel much better.

Newser) – Michelle Obama has quietly carved out a niche that helps offset concerns about her husband’s lack of military background: reaching out to spouses of service members. Rather than just delivering a speech, she’s been hosting roundtable discussions, Politico reports. “I am here to listen and to do a lot of learning and then to transfer that information into the heart and mind of my husband,” she told attendees at one gathering.

Michelle Obama has called working with military families one of the “issues closest to my heart.” “If she becomes first lady, this will be her cause,” says a Marine wife who helped organize Blue Star Families for Obama, a “pro-military, pro-Obama” group. Says another: “We like Obama, but we love her. She gets what we are getting.”

Think this isn’t part of a strategy? Bambi does nothing for nothing.

I just love it when our enlightened politicians reveal things to us that we, the public, have known since the primaries. The world wants Obama as our president because they know he is weak. He will be easy to manipulate. McCain, on the other hand, scares the crap out of them, as it should be.

I think they’ve bought into the worst of liberalism. Liberalism has wormed its way into the Jewish culture, and its lack of principles, morals, and willingness to capitulate to anyone/anytime in the interests of “peace” will destroy them.

    can u believe this:

newsweek blog: by Andrew Romano: Memo to John Kerry: Don’t Quit Your Day Job
Speaking this afternoon at a business summit in Cambridge, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry complained about the inane questions he fielded from the press during his 2004 presidential bid–and expressed sympathy for this year’s crop of candidates. The target of his ire: “the famous ‘boxers or briefs’ question.” Praising Obama for successfully parrying the inquiry–Kerry confessed that he “was tempted to say commando”–the Bay Stater informed his audience that McCain had encountered some problems: “Then they asked McCain, and McCain said, ‘Depends.’” Hotcha! The crowd, according to PolitickerMA, cracked up.
I mean, I get the joke: McCain is so old that he wears Depends–the best-known brand of adult diapers–to keep from soiling his slacks. Ha. But just as Republicans have cheapened a legitimate line of attack against Obama (that he’s avoided taking a firm stand on some issues) by calling him a shady terrorist sympathizer, so too do Democrats risk diluting their best criticism of McCain (that he can be erratic, impulsive and unreliable) by harping on his age.
Both comments are not only inappropriate; they’re counterproductive. After all, Obama is relying on older white voters–his newest, softest supporters–to propel him to victories in Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio (among other places)…
    blog.newsweek.com/blogs/stumper/archive/2008/10/20/memo-to-john-kerry-don-t-quit-your-day-job.aspx

so romano thinks the “joke” is “inappropriate” but has tells us mccain is “erratic, impulsive and unreliable”!!!! WTF!

  • Chad3337

This is the acknowledgment of the public’s worst fears about Senator Obama. This statement is SHOCKING and FRIGHTENING IN THE EXTREME!

First, the horror that the U.S. could again be attacked or otherwise intentionally provoked because of Senator Obama’s inexperience and naivete.

Second, that a team with so little judgment will be responding to such a crisis.

Third, that Senator Biden is so contemptuous of the public will. In a democracy, it’s important whether policies are “popular” because it indicates whether the people support positions that well from the ground up, or whether they are imperially imposed from the top down.

Finally, that a candidate could be so incompetent to voice such private musings publically. It’s literally mind-blowing, and a game changer if you ask me. I think Senator Obama has no choice but to dismiss Senator Biden immediately. This is the most reckless thing I’ve ever heard any candidate say.

My tinfoil hat says Biden is a plant. But by whom? I have heard that he volunteered rather than was sought out, so the key is, why did he volunteer? One theory was Daley pushed him. Another that he is hoping for his own glory–I don’t buy that at all. He seems as weird in his position as Hillary stumping.

Every day we go through this, hoping that the levee breaks. I feel like forces are all around, drifting in quietly, getting in range. But what could bring O. down convincingly? And I say that because whatever we see against him, it tends to get shrugged off by the Obots. I can only think:
    1. Major provable connection to Islam, or Islamic terrorists.
    2. Proof that he isn’t really Obama but a substitute.
    3. Simultaneous bust by at least 3 agencies on at least 27 different charges, all with audio and video of Obama saying “I did it and I’m guilty, hahaha.”

If Biden were a surrogate, he would quietly disappear from view. Since Obama made him his unfortunate choice of VP running mate, how’s he going to shut him up?

Joe Biden, the October surprise. Just keep talking, Joe!

  • KathyNeocon

I guess Biden thinks the harassment of voters isn’t pushing enough voters into their column, so now he’s trying to scare people into voting for His Eminence. National security?? I’ll take my chances with McCain, tried and tested in the battlefield. That’s a no-brainer.

  • lightacandle

Omigod, motor-mouth Joe Biden is already warning us that leaders of hostile nations (or groups) will be testing Obama within the first six months of Obama’s reign as president.

John F. Kennedy also was “tested” because the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev felt Kennedy was inexperienced and a weak leader. Khrushchev’s belief that Kennedy was weak led to Khrushchev’s decision to erect the Berlin Wall, on August 13, 1961, thus physically dividing East and West Berlin for the next 28 years.

President Kennedy had acknowledged in a speech a few weeks earlier, on July 25, 1961, that the United States could hope to defend ONLY West Berliners and West Germans … that any attempt to stand up for East Germans would result only in an embarrassing downfall. A few months after the the first stage of the Berlin Wall (barbed wire) was erected, the Kennedy administration informed the Soviet government that it ACCEPTED the Berlin Wall as “a fact of international life” and WOULD NOT CHALLENGE it by force.

So what do you suppose Biden is preparing us to ACCEPT?

It seems to me Biden is making a case for electing someone the hostile world leaders would NOT feel free to test.

They would not have felt comfortable testing Hillary Clinton. They know she is tough.

And they would not feel comfortable testing John McCain, who they know would hit back.

But, Obama would dither, make excuses for being unable or unwilling to function, would call the hostile foreign leaders “racists” (which will bounce off them like water off a duck) and would then WHINE that he is being treated unfairly by Fox News.

    Heaven help us all.

i think joe biden is having a series of what in medical slang is known as “small shocks”. this would be related to an earlier brain aneurism that he sufferred.

thus,i think he is mentally challenged. just great… obama is an empty suit, and his veep is verbally handicapped.

    we are in deep doodoo.

what exactly biden is referring to scares the crap out of me. it doesn’t even matter what it is.

I went to one in Jax and they said 7000 got in. Based on the time I arrived and the line at the door when they closed them, my estimate is that at least 5,000 got turned away. Some stood in the sun for 4 hours and none of us would have missed it for the world.

“Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”
Other than none of that making any sense, I can see that whatever decision they have already made, that most of us will disagree, even the ‘Bots. What Biden’s asking the loyal followers to do is go into the community and show solidarity with Obama about a choice which Directly affects the citizenry.
I would bet that it has to do with the African Reparations Project and the subsequent turnover of all U.S. Military control to the U.N.
That takes care of the International peril that Biden was sooo eloquent about and forces the citizens to have to suffer at the same time, thus backing up the “tell your neighbor you support us” bullshit.

Wow. Very powerful juxtaposition between Bush, looking like a deer in the headlights, and the Twin Towers in that video.

My number one concern about Bozo is that he will put our country in danger. I think the stupid and naive so-called “progressives” with their hatred of America think that will give Bozo the chance to do the socialist thing–whatever that is. For those of us who’ve been around for a while and know history, we know that an attack on America with a arrogant unqualified twit in office could be a kiss-your-ass goodbye scenario.

How does a policeman afford both an apt near the 0bamas mansion and a home some place else????

I am into conspiracies and this is yet another mystery in 0bama’s mysterious life that the msm won’t cover. They found out within 24 hours that Joe the Plumber owed back taxes and didn’t have a license. I didn’t realize that you couldn’t have an opinion or ask a question if you owed taxes. You are deprived of First Amendment Rights. Is that so?

Anyway, who is this Michael Signator person that has 0bama so chummy with him. He’s a bodyguard but he’s chummy with him? My immediate reaction was more downlow implications. But he is or was a cop. And once someone upthread mentioned drugs I immediately thought, he scores for 0bama. Here in NYC, there’s a well-known axiom that cops have the best drugs. And let’s face it, they have access. This is not to say that cops are all users, but drugs can be leveraged for info and money and sex.

But I don’t like this relationship at all. As it is, 0bama has NO CLOSE FRIENDS. Yet, he and supposedly Michelle are chummy with this guy enough to seek his counsel. All despots have some devoted ‘enforcer’ at their side to do their dirty work for them. Donald Young anyone?

Then there was a quote from this man in the article that I’m very uncomfortable with as an AA. Signator escorted 0bama to an AA Parade in Chicago where 0bama was greeted enthusiastically by chanting his name, etc. Signator is supposed to have made some crack to the effect: “That he was waiting for 0bama to rise up and say to the crowd: I will set you free!”

I’ll look for the exact quote. But I have to say, it reeks of condescension and is precisely the reason that I, an AA, will never vote for 0bama. For that man to make a remark like that suggests to me that the two have shared derogatory comments about AAs between them. That 0bama would feel this way is something I know is true in my gut. Unfortunately, I have no way of proving this. But that certainly doesn’t mean I’m wrong.

But I want to know more about this guy who doesn’t appear so far to be married.

This is interesting. Very interesting, indeed. Too bad everyone in Chicago is scared shitless to say anything.

HERE IS WHAT I THINK OBAMA’S RESPONSE TO A NATIONAL OR WORLD CRISIS WILL BE….”IF YOU NEED ME CALL ME…OTHERWISE I WILL BE AT THE GYM WORKING OUT”….

  • Sarracuda In So Cal

    According to Rasmussen

    OHIO:

    McCain: 49
    obama: 47

    FLORIDA:

McCain: 49 (last week, McCain was at 46 in Florida)
obama: 48 (last week, obama was at 51 in Florida)

    http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ…ntial_election

Now Rasmussen is pro obama so I’m thinking that Florida is going more to McCain then just 1 point. Cubans in the Miami area are NOT voting for Obama, once Obama opened his trap about “Spreading the wealth” around, they knew Obama was Castro
Now as far as Ohio is concerned, wouldn’t it be AMAZING after all the voter fraud that went on in Ohio for McCain to win there

  • pm317

“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.

This is key. If Biden thought he was saying something flattering that can only be said about Obama, then why would he say this at the end before he stopped his insane rant. He said it as he REALIZED the press was in the room. Didn’t he know they were going to be there?

  • suskin

It’s not just going to be one major crisis, there will be many. The only thing keeping those conflicts corked right now is GW Bush – whether you hate Bush or not – he’s a deterrent.
Obama will be a match to dynamite. Obama sends a message of empathy that energizes and weakness that emboldens – people will take action that they would never dare take under Bush/Clinton/McCain. And we’ll be looking at military intervention across the globe.

And then Obama will institute the draft because it is unfair to place the burden of the military on the AA community. Right?

Perhaps that’s the unpopular part of the Biden prophesy.

Look, the MSM (mainstream media) is NOT “liberal,” and neither is Barack Obama. Not even close. He praised Ronald Reagan and dissed Bill Clinton throughout most of his campaign. Why do you think Colin Powell endorsed Obama? Do you really think Powell has suddenly turned into a “far left liberal” (which BTW is an oxymoron) or–HORRORS–a “socialist?”

First of all, he’s predicting a crisis. No, he’s not predicting one, he’s basically guaranteeing one. Have the Dems rigged some crisis so Obumble can come to the rescue?

After rigging the nomination and the convention, very little would surprise me. But how calloused would that truly make them?

And, if there is a major crisis looming on the horizon that’s so horrific, what makes Obumble the right man for the job? The fact that he takes no stance that can be relied upon or the fact that he is willing to say anything to anybody?

Obumble is really the Democratic reincarnation of Georgie W., but I’m sure he’ll want to appear different. Maybe he will be reading My Pet Pig when the crisis comes.

But isn’t the crisis here already in the form of the housing market collapse? And isn’t Herr Bumble in the thick of it? Sure, let’s give Dodd, Kerry and Obumble the reins since they’ve driven the horse into the pond already.

Of course, according to Joe Running Mouth (his Cherokee name), we don’t know how Obama will respond to an international crisis, except that it will probably look wrong before everybody figures out they were really right.

However, we do know how Obama responded to 9/11 (thanks, Joe Wilson for throwing that into the mix, rightfully so).

Consider the future CIC’s response to those events, or at least what he says was his response:

The story began when a reporter noticed that Barack Obama was no longer wearing an American flag pin and asked about it. Obama replied, “You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for, I think, true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest; instead I’m gonna try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism.”

The Iraq war did not begin until March of 2003, 18 months later. So it seems unlikely that many pin wearers began their symbolic display to support a war that hadn’t yet begun.

Well, Joe Running Mouth was right about one thing. Obama’s choice definitely looks wrong. Only problem is, it still does.

When do we get the punch line?

BO will be rolled like a drunk by any number of foreign leaders, both friend and foe. My bet is that Israel will not let Iran move forward with their ‘peacful’ nuclear program too much longer. Of course, with BO elected he’ll just ask the Iranians nicely to stop and of course they will.

(Sounds like GWB was repeating what he overheard his advisors say.)

Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”

Biden isn’t talking about a “rigged” crisis; he is in Senate Foreign Relations Committee so he knows alot, plus the campaigns are getting nat’l security briefings.

So whatever Biden is talking about is real. Personally, I don’t think the draft is a bad thing: all men in my family have served since Revolutionary War days. However, the Liberals sure won’t like it.
    —————————————-

I think this is right. They (both candidiates) were just briefed last week with new info.. Biden can not resist the urge in front of influential donors to sound like he knows the inside sccop. My guess is they got new info. on Isreal and Iran. I think they have info. that if Obama gets elected, things will happen. Isreal will act more unilaterally (not trusting Obama) and Iran will test Obama in ways they would have never tested McCain in regards to Israel.

I think Biden is warning the liberal faithful that Obama will have to react with force, and it won’t be popular with their liberal supporters…especially those who see anything we do in defense of Isreal as “being in their pocket” and anti-Arab by nature. He’s warning them to hold their opinions in check and not tank the administration’s favorability numbers when this happens.

I think it’s time for a Michelle Whitedove prediction.

On October 10 she said this:

    - With every fiber of my being, I know that there is a major event looming either:
    A) A US government plot which will be 911-like, with Bush claiming a state of emergency thus suspending and postponing the election and self imposing his dictatorship.
    B) Another stolen election.
    C) Some other huge upset like the stock market collapse.
    D) An assassination.
    E) All of the above.
This major event will be the catalyst for our government to instate military personnel for martial law. The ball is in motion, I clearly see that riots are already expected surrounding the elections. I have predicted Martial Law being enforced in the US since 2002 now look at the PROOF that it’s coming: LINK VIDEO ORDERS
-Hilary (for all of those that keep emailing)
She cut a deal with the shadow government; I still see her in play for the postponed election.

Concepts like social justice are almost like DNA to the Jewish people.. additionally, because of the Big Lie that NAZIism was a right-wing movement they highly suspicious of the right.

Just because they think it’s right wing doesn’t mean that NAZIism was right-wing. All collectivism is Left Wing and the NAZI movement like all Socialist movements is no different. The nationalistic socialist govs in Germany and Italy were to the right of Communism.. that is true. but on an absolute scale, they are all Left Wing movements.

I would add that the Patriot Act, a Bush favorite, is not in tune with the limited government thing.

Limited Govt doesn’t preclude prudent security activity. National security is the primary responsibility of the Federal Govt. It’s one of the few things they’re supposed to be doing (as opposed to almost everything else it does) and it’s funny how so many people attack it for that.

I would also add that neither is lurking about people’s bedrooms and doctors offices. There are discinct problems with both sides, especially concerning the Bill of Rights. As far as I’m concerned, the more rights we maintain, the better. And yes, I am a vocal proponent of the Second Amendment.

Concern about the Bill of Rights is part of what motivates ProLife. It’s false to state the intention is to get into someone’s bedroom.

The intent is to protect the right of a human being to be born. You don’t have to agree with the Pro-Left position, but you can be willing to accept what the ProLifers say about themselves.

Also as a Federalist I understand the difference between what the Fed Govt is empowered to do and that the States retain most of their Sovereignty to do almost anything they want. I consider it an aberration that the States have allowed themselves to be so impotent.

The XXVII Amendment is a disaster for our system of govt.

  • Ferd McBerfle

Bush put the handcuffs on us. Barack Hussein Obama will through the keys away.

This is one of the multiple reasons I was never for the Patriot Act (if this is what you mean by handcuffs). I don’t care who is in office, that sort of power is not something that a President should have–ever. I hope to God that Oblockhead isn’t elected because that one Act may be our undoing. We can’t do anything about it now except hope for the best. And then get rid of that damn Act when McCain becomes President. If Americans want safety, then seal the borders and build the fence.

  • lisa in va

I have to comment on the 911 video for this article. As much as I think Bush is an idiot, I think he did the exact right thing at that elementary school. What the heck was he supposed to do? Go running down the hallway waving his hands and freaking out? No. Its not like he was on a tennis court or eating lunch at the club. He was in front of a group of children, probably the biggest moment in many of their lives (meeting the president). He knew he would only be there for about 5 minutes. He knew that he had relatively competent people in government doing their jobs.

As for him going in after the first plane but not the second, it could have been an accident. He was waiting for more info. Planes flying into large buildings are nothing new. I know when I first heard about it, I was like, yeah, right some single engine plane got off course (okay, I had a newborn and was nursing & it took me awhile to get to a tv…just as the second plane was hitting).

Anyway, I’ve seen this clip many times and I think he handled it very very well…considering he was in a state of disbelief. He didn’t want to upset the kids & its not like he could have whipped out a cape and flown into the clouds and stopped any further attacks. I also thing he was right on about invading Afghanistan.

Everything else he did in office was utter idiocy.

Liberalism has wormed its way into the Jewish culture…..It’s sickening. Israel should not be divided, carved up, sectioned off or anything of the sort

American Jews are not Israeli Jews, and do not share the same world views, i,e., they are not a monolithic culture. It is a well-known secret that Israel has enough of an arsenal to make any adversary think twice and those who don’t think twice won’t be in any position to rethink their strategy when all is said and done. They will not hesitate to use whatever they have at their disposal to get the job done. No American President can change their attitude on that one, particularly someone like Oblockhead.

  • socalannie

Small planes have hit buildings before; but jetliners do not crash into buildings that have major importance worldwide. Also, the World Trade Center had been bombed before. When Bush was told an airliner crashed into the first one, he should have had an aide excuse them from appearing and rushed back to his jet to find out what was happening & what he needed to do. It was not more important, at that critical time, for Bush to worry about what a class of kids would think if he didn’t make his scheduled visit with them.

  • Ferd McBerfle

Both sides receive security updates and are allowed to have a representative at the daily briefings. I think Obama isn’t allowed to attend because his security clearance is at Senate minimums. Sarah as the Governor of Alaska has a top secret clearance because the Alaska National Guard is on permanent active duty and she is in command of the guard.

I’m looking at Biden’s remarks as a threat to our security. Questions: If nothing happens over the first 6 months will Obama manufacture something to “prove” what a fearless leader he is? When Biden says that we will have to “help out”, is that an excuse for Obama to not keep his tax break promise and instead raise taxes for everyone? I’ll answer that for you, yes it is because his plan is unsustainable. It started out as a lie and will end up that way.

Joe Wilson’s note is a little irritating. Many of us here are PUMAS. We didn’t ask for this butt brains Obama as a candidate and don’t believe he won the Primary honestly. To remind us that the Republicans installed a nincompoop is just not helpful. When I step in the voting booth I will remember not what the Republicans did in 2000 but what my own party did in 2008. I won’t be voting for a candidate that IMHO is worse, (can’t believe it possible but here we are) worse than George Bush. Did Ambassador Wilson see another name on our ballot that might be a good choice? If not, I really don’t get the reason for that reminder. I think he would have been The One to run down the halls flailing his arms in a panic.

John McCain is not like the republicans that screwed up the last 8 years! This election has opened my eyes to who really cares for me instead of a moose!! This life Long Dem. has seen the light and even Hillary won’t get my vote again, b/c her supporting Obama means she is just a politician too. John McCain is a much better choice than Barack (can’t speak his middle name) Obama!! I won’t dare vote for someone that you can’t say their middle name…who the hell is he Voldemort???!!!! If he is ashamed of his name he should change it!

If McCain was like the republicans that ruined the last 8 years the media would be rooting for him like they were Bush! Wake up, Obama is this years money man, the corporate favorite. You think the Republicans want reform? They don’t! That is why no one is defending McCain but us PUMAS.

He & his wife took a lot of flack, first from the media over the Plamegate affair; then from the deranged obot army when they endorsed Hillary. When he would write an article on Huffpo, the obots wrote terrible things. All things considering, I can understand him needing to take a break from being a target.

I think what Joe was simply trying to say is that we will Nuke Pakistan back to the stone age. What a trifecta. Kill Bin Laden, Destroy the Nuclear Threat from Pakistan and destroy the Taliban in one fell swoop. Not to mention the Iranians will think twice about going after Israel. It was like Joe had this great big new secret but he wasnt allowed to tell and he just couldn’t help himself.

  • socalannie

Lisa, you needn’t take offense…I like both yours & 30 year dems comments very much. I just don’t agree with you on this one. At the time of 9/11, my youngest was in kindergarten & my oldest was in high school. I wouldn’t have cared if the Prez missed an appt that day. Although he couldn’t have stopped the second plane, he could have appeared to be more “commanderly”, and been getting more info from the military & intelligence services.

  • imustprotest

I am irritated by Joe Wilson’s comment too. Bush was the man in the pet goat chair, not McCain. This whole party loyalty thing really has to be explored. If that’s the case, why have a primary at all? Just vote for a party. It IS important who the PERSON is, not just the PARTY.

  • Elle

Don’t believe this …Campbell Brown about to report how Palin is regarded as a negative force according to republicans that are turning against her.
This she says is shown in polls.

I do not blame McCain for GOP action. I do not blame my local state rep candidate for the action of her party the democrats. It is time to join, as I did 30 years ago, yourself. Register and think as an independent voter.

Joseph Wilson, during the primary, wrote at least two articles explaining – in great detail – why Obama would be the worst choice in this nation’s history.

I do not know what to make of his note above.

  • athy

    Lisa-

I hear what you are saying however I think when it comes to leadership…the citizen’s perception of the leader’s strength is part of being a good leader.

People were freaking out on Sept 11 and the days that followed.

Sen Clinton & Mayor Giuliani rushed IMMEDIATELY to the scene (not just for photo ops-although I am sure that was in the back of their minds).

When citizens see their leaders physically on the scene-(or rushing to get to the scene) it instills a sense of confidence in that our leader is coming…things will be okay…have faith.

Instead, Pres Bush’s reaction (right or wrong) made many citizens feel more insecure because it looked like Pres Bush did not know what to do…he looked shocked. This worried many americans who look up to their president as a source of strength…to..in effect…hold our hand during this crisis so we can keep clear minds and not panic.

Pres Bush was a no show with Hurricane Katrina too.

Perception is reality for most people.

Pres Bush was not perceived as being in charge…

  • morganjane

I agree, Joe Wilson, hopefully, isn’t another person of stature trying to influence our lowly opinions. Because Lord knows that we need folk like Powell and Madonna telling us their opinions so we can blindly follow. Sad, they may convience a few that haven’t been paying attention. Joe Wilson, I would think, would respect McCain, and we know Powell does but for some strange reason they would support someone with NO EXPERIENCE, less than the dreaded Sarah Palin! I am so shocked of how many people want to be one of Obama’s puppet masters. I fear these people won’t learn until the Nation of Islam kicks their asses out of the white house.

His statements make sense if you know that Barky wants to dismantle our military, and sign on with the U.N.

In other words, we’ll be at the mercy of the U.N. for our own national defense and security. Is that really what Obots want?

Never mind. They don’t own a whole brain between the entire lot of the useless, vegetative twits.

Barack does not want more military. In fact, he would like to keep as much of the military as possible out of the United States.

Barack wants to institure the Civilian Security Force like in his speech 2 July 08 in Colorado”:

Obama: “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

  • dpvegas

Hear hear! Totally agree with you on all points. And we worked for Hillary’s campaign here, but after supporting Barky, with what I’ve learned of him, not to mention what I suspect, we’re not happy with what she chose to do.

I don’t agree with McCain on all points, but right now, we need someone with REAL integrity in the White House. Not some horribly flawed, empty, racist suit and his loud mouthed spouse.

    Agust304.

perhaps Mr Wilson is trying to help us keep things in some kind of perspective so that this video is not viewed as a fear tactic used to make people so scared so that they run and vote for Sen McCain because they fear Sen Obama will promote this kind of castrophe agian in our country?

But you know…with Biden’s comment today…this fear has begun to be instilled in the public’s mind.
This video did not make me half as worried as Biden’s comment did.

    Just a guess.

I respect Mr Wilson and what he (and his wife) went through for our country. I have read many of his writings.

This is the only reason I can come up with.

That is the democrats who WERE against Obama’s argument to us is that Obama would have twitched his ‘messiah nose’ (like on bewitched) and would have been right on the scene. Or he could have been teaching the class how to put on a condomn and where to get an abortion and finish up the lesson before floating of on Air Force “The One”?

You are right – Ziggy and Surrender – I think Joe Biden is referring to our complete surrender when he talks about ““And he’s gonna need help. Why did the Reichstag burn? But this “generated crisis” could be much worse, and the first domino in the line falls. The next domino is what scares me: the creation of a private national security force answerable to the executive branch–in the interest of “national security” of course. Wiretaps and strict control of the internet will be necessary (the MSM are already in the bag). Of course, this might be hard to pull off unless both houses of congress are in the bag–whoops, they will be. And it might be hard to pull off unless The Leader is a very charismatic radiant-haloed figure who can charm you into disbelieving your lying eyes.

In itself, a draft might be a good idea. It might drive some of the arrogance from the hip-hop generation. I have two questions that have been bugging me all day since I first heard of Biden running off at the mouth:

Question #1: Is he trying to play the fear factor? If so he has handed John McCain and the Republicans the election because we all know the Dems are totally irresponsible when it comes to deciding what to do in the event of a terrorist attack? Go Joe, you have just sunk the Democratic Party. Keep it up Joe!

Question #2 and the most important question: As we were told both Obama and John McCain were called back to the WH for a high level security briefing this weekend regarding a possible terrorist attack that might take place around the elections. Did Obama tell Joe what he learned? If this is the case and Joe ran with it in the above speech, then Joe Biden just committed a very serious breach of security. As did Obama if he did indeed pass the information on to Joe.

I think Joe Biden has just committed political suicide for the Party. Hillary would never had done or said anything so stupid. Way to go Dems.

  • Vidsweet

Israel, people. ISRAEL!!! That is what this comment was all about. He is telegraphing to people that they will abandon Israel if it coes to it — hence, the “whoa guys. I dont knnow about that decision.”

He was not talking to ordinary voters — he was talking to die hard Dems. People who would say, whoa — I’m not sure about that. Israel is not happy with this quote and any rational Jew or supporter of Israel should be running for the hills after that quote.

Come on and jump on board the team and come on in for the BIG WIN!!

  • Lindsy

Obama is strongly urging his supporters to vote early now at rallies.

If he wins because of early voting I’m going to be so upset.

  • csuzeq

I’m staying home, too. I have had it planned for months. A bad situation no matter what outcome for Barfy!

  • Cindy

Although I appreciate what Ambassador Wilson has gone through, the one thing that I’m going to remember when I step into that voting booth is that MY (former) party did NOT want a woman on their national ticket…That trumps anything the Republicans did 7 years ago.

Doesn’t sound like Biden remembers too much of foreign policy..

Did anyone watch Lou Dobbs on CNN – he’s the ONLY one I watch on CNN. He introduced Campbell’s show at the end of his show and asked her ‘what do you have for us today, Campbell’? Campbell replied something and Lou asked her ‘what about Sarah Palin SINGLE HANDEDLY rasing SNL’s ratings for the whole year; that was something wasn’t it?’ and – LOL – that UGLY, JEALOUS, VICIOUS Campbell kind of gave a short, nervous laugh and quietly said ‘yeah’ with a half, FAKE smile and THEN quickly LOWERED HER HEAD (as if reading her script) and the ‘smile’ was IMMEDIATELY GONE FROM HER FACE, and Dobbs continued on with his show. Apparently, she was taken off guard and didn’t expect Dobbs to say anything about Palin, ESPECIALLY anything COMPLIMENTARY! LOL!
CAMPBELL BROWN IS AN UGLY, JEALOUS shrew!

  • Dan

After he left class he was put on an airplane. That was the protocol. They didn’t know were anything was going to strike next. On that airplane they have everything at their disposal just like if he was at the White House.

What he did was absolutley the right decision and he has had the right decisions through out his presidency on issues as far as the war in Afghanistan and in Iraq. History will show he is correct. How conveniant that we have 150,000 troops in Iraq and have air bases now in the middle east. Iran has to be scared shitless. We killed to birds with one stone. Took out saddam and can strike any time we want at Iran. Brilliant!!!

  • Fredster

Oh well! Makes my voting for McCain that much easier!

  • McHope

He takes any position that exemplifies EVIL from either side.

  • Carol

Obama says the Republicans are going to paint him as a ’scary guy’

Joe did it for them. Keep on ticking Joe, you are helping to get John McCain elected.

  • fluffy bunny

Actually it was Colin Powell’s right hand man that outed Val Plame, and Powell is now supporting Obama. I’d have hoped Wilson could have been honest enough to explain that fact.

The Adelman endorsement for Obama is just more evidence that the losers who thought invading Iraq would be a cakewalk oppose McCain.

  • PewL

Looks like information posted at Gretawire about a lawsuit in Hawaii..Looks like Obama’s records will be revealed by the courts in Hawaii.. Not sure as I didn’t read the entire article..

  • McHope

The leaders of Israel should openly endorse McCain.
The terrorist governments have openly endorsed Obama.
They need to send a strong message to Jewish Americans.

  • Carol

    I’ll drink to that.

  • fluffy bunny

Hey, maybe Barry’s working on that coveted Wolfowitz endorsement?

  • danny

I don’t think you should be getting too full of yourself. You should pull this video down Larry. Joe Wilson has lost his marbles, he needs to go get a life. What is wrong with people?!

This video and the note from “Ambasador Wilson” is so offensive in so many ways I cannot even begin to tell you.

For him to use the imagery to divide America and Americans is horrible – terrible – how sick can you be?

I know that Bush is and idiot and the worst leader ever but it is not his fault that 911 happened and you can not link this tragedy to John McCain. HOw fucked up is the Democratic Party that they would even desperatley try it. How fucked up can they truly be that they are doing this. I was a Democrat now I am not – I will never associate with people who spread this kind of division.

Take it down Larry! It is vile and shouldn’t have ever been posted.

Joe and his wife have tons of money they just need to disappear and get a life for a change.

  • socalannie

    ROFLMAO!!!

  • Fredster

I think Obama isn’t allowed to attend because his security clearance is at Senate minimums.

Well it would seem then that Biden’s would be the same. Just sayin’.

  • BettsAZ

What is scary is that Obama,as President(God forbid!) will have complete access to US secret foreign and domestic information…who,of America’s enemies, will he “team up” with and what info will he provide them?…This is of GREAT concern and trepidation.

Obama is dangerous for children and all other living things!

  • Joe

I don’t understand why more people aren’t questioning Biden’s mental fitness for office.

I wouldn’t trust him with my car, let alone the highest levels of all security clearences.

  • bethtopaz

On the other hand, maybe Joe Biden is in a quandry because he sees disaster looming with Obama (he has a son in the military) and he doesn’t want his country destroyed, and in his weird way is trying to warn America.

I can’t think of any other reason he would do it.

  • bethtopaz

That’s funny. 22,000 showed up in Colorado to see Palin.

    Some negative force, Campbell Brown.

I wonder how much Obama is paying her?

  • QUEENIE

Me too !!..this is the end game for the take over of the New World Order..Obama is Cheney and the shadow governments guy!!

when one does not vote and just votes present ..it distorts what his real record would be!! And as a Junior Senator..with so little time voting in the senate..lwho the hell really knows what he is according to his votes..or non votes as it is.

Voting for Fisa and immunity for treason is not liberal! by any stretch of the imaginiation!

Going to the Canadians and telling them..don’t worry about Nafta..i am blowing it up the asses of the dems for an election..is not liberal.

Refusing to filibuster Alito is not liberal…when his vote was the one that would have caused a filibuster!

Getting the endorsement of Powell..who lied our soldiers into this war and is responsible for the deaths of over 4,000 american soldiers and the deaths of over 100,000 innocent Iraqi’s of which might i add..50 + % the population of Iraq before Powell’s illegal war were under the age of 15..is not liberal.

143 days as a junior senator does not prove what anyone is.

Obama says “there is nothing wrong with stealing votes”

    http://www.nypost.com/seven/10202008/news/politics/obama_ok_with_ohio_tactics_134488.htm

    oh. my. god.

    arrogance or stupidity or both???

we knew Obama was a criminal but jesus… we never thought he would come out and admit it…

well, maybe he is turning over a new leaf? he did come out with “spread the wealth around” a few days ago…

anyway, here is the full story on the stealing votes quote:

dems voted early in 2004 too in states that allowed it..like Fla..and Kerry was way ahead in early vote as well..where did that get us????????????

  • Brendy

Obama wants people to vote early BEFORE the FIRESTORM of negative information/beliefs about him start pouring in. Like the ‘going to Hawaii to see his sick grandma’ – probably more like takin’ care of his birth certificate, and NOW with Biden saying those SCARY things…

If Obama’s grandma were all THAT sick, you’d think he’d go TODAY or at least TOMORROW and TAKE MEchelle and the ‘great-grandkids’ with him.

  • kgirl1028

Ok that was so disrespectful. Joe Wilson of all people has the right to be ticked off with the republican party, they put his wife in danger, infact something would be wrong with them if he didn’t have a problem with him. What the Bush Administration did to his wife just so the could start a war is unforgivable. And one of the many reason I would love to see the entire lot brought up on war crimes, and disposed of Nutenburg style.

However I must say, if I looked at character I would say to Mr wilson that Obama is more likely to do what Bush and friends inc did than McCain. We’ve already seen him do it with Joe the Plummer. Hacking into Palin email addresses, teling his followers to get in peoples faces, using intimidation, sending secret memos. I’ve lived with bush for eight years, I know him when i see him. My parents always told me no matter where you go you will meet the same people over again with different faces and names, but the same people. Obama is Bush from his smug and stupid lies, down to his cheating election stealing ways. obama pracitices the same cronyism bush has in iraq on a small scale. I fyou were to compare the reports of what Tony Rezko’s apartment buildings obama helped funnel money too, and hold it up to all of the reconstruction fraud going on in iraq it’s almost identicle. I’m sorry but if someone attacked this country Obama would never even come out of the class room. HE’d be hinding under the desk with the kids, and next time around we won’t have dick chaney to take control of the situation. We will have Joe “gurd ye loins” I don’t know how not to embaress my running mate Biden
Trust me I was all for the distruction of the republican party but then the dems picked mini bush to run for office. There are things on this earth much worst than republicans.

    interesting article:

    http://tank.nationalreview.com/

in short, Obama had Biden say this stuff to distract Mccain from the “joe the plumber” and “Spread the wealth around” message that has boosted Mccain in the polls…

    interesting…

in a way i kinda agree, Taxes is going to be the big issue in the voting booth…

although this latest Gaffe will influence some undecided voters i think Taxes and Spreading the Wealth is the biggest issue to more voters across more demographics

I think the Plumber thing has run its course as a single point. McCain tied Biden’s gaffe to the economy in his reply, i.e. with our economy in such difficulty, we can’t afford an intentional foreign incident etc.

I believe that this story will have legs, particularly if McCain makes an ad of it. Apparently, the NY Times and Washington Post haven’t published anything about it yet, or if they did it certainly wasn’t on their front page. This AM it was discussed on Morning Joe and Fox and Friends (didn’t check CNN) so its getting out there but I think it will be up to McCain to run with it.

  • Erasmus

For those of you who are bashing Hillary please bear in mind that we have luxuries, in terms of trashing Obama, that she does not have and that she is under pressures, with th DNC probably holding a gun to her head, that we cannot possibly imagine.Keep one thing in mind – 2012. If she had said knocked Obie there would have been serious implications probably even leading to the loss of her senate seat.
There would have been absolute ructions and finger-pointing by the bots when Bambi loses. The way their brains work would lead to the following exegesis:
‘we were way ahead in the polls right up to the end, then we lost, it must have been that ****** Hillary’
    2012, 2012, 2012.
I believe McCain will win and Hillary will be the candidate in 2012. And think she believes this as well in spite of what she says. What then? This is what. The boot will be on the other foot and she will be dependant on the votes of erstwhile Obamabots. Let’s face it this is a cult rather than a political movement. When they lose it will turn nasty. And Hillary has to go to extreme lengths now to pre-empt a ‘Hillary screwed Barack in ‘08′ meme developing.
And when they lose you can be sure that us PUMAs will be seen by the bots as the agents of Satan (I’m sort of looking forward to that by the way).
But watch out for a bot version of PUMA in 2012. They will probably go for some stupid name like AMUP (PUMA in reverse) to make this point. Typical bot style spite -’ we’ll get them back for what they did to us by giving them a taste of their own medicine waaaaah’ . But, and this is an important but, whether the AMUPs end up as a serious force in ‘12 or just a fringe group of cranks depends on how Hill conducts herself now. And she knows it.
Hill is a realist and has been through bruising experiences. She has learned the hard way that you can only survive in the modern Democratic party is by being downright cynical. Don’t worry. She’ll set the record straight when she writes her memoirs as (hopefully) ex-president Clinton no 2:
”I felt, and probably looked, like a dog being washed. But I just *had* to grit my teeth and do it”

  • EyesOpen

So Powell endorses Obama. Biden endorses McCain. Obama leaves the campaign trail for a sick grandmother? Okay, I may be an insensitive cynic, but is this like the fake flu call to your boss when you don’t want to go to work?

  • DancingOpossum

    Good LORD!!!

Biden sounds like he is drunk! He’s making no sense at all, and this mix of pleas for help and threats is too weird. He says a crisis will be “generated,” but by who, Joe? By what? (This is why I hate the passive voice: Mistakes were made, indeed.)

“Generated,” what does that mean–that someone will do it on purpose to “test” the Messiah??? Like the guy on that commercial used to say, “That’s just crazy talk!!”

Man. Our VP candidate is babbling drunk-sounding crazy talk. I wonder if this will get one-tenth the coverage of every mildly off-color thing McCain or Palin say. HAHAHAHA.

  • DancingOpossum

And when they lose you can be sure that us PUMAs will be seen by the bots as the agents of Satan (I’m sort of looking forward to that by the way)

Just to clarify, minorities are under represented in the Volunteer Forces and 70% of the dead in this war are white folks.

1% of the current force doesn’t have a highschool degree as compared to the 21% of the genereal population.

Our fighting force is filled with noble dedicated men and women who believe that their scarifice is worth it. Our nation and its freedoms mean so much to them. Unlike Barack who just doesn’t get it, the American Dream.
    Just ask Joe the plumber.

  • Jackie

72% of active duty servicemembers suport McCain. They believe he will not ude them irresponsibly like Obama will.

6% refused to answer the question

3% cannot vote because they are not citizens yet

    1% were undecided

less that 20% support Barfy the majority of them are black

  • QUEENIE

A friend of mine pointed this out and I will pass along here…

Did anyone see the event that Biden made the comment about how unimportant a VP is? and now he comes out and says this thing about Obama being tested. I wonder if those two things go together? Biden being upset that he’s been told he will not have much influence? So, he’s tipping people off to what is to come? I know it’s a stretch, but I think many people missesd Biden’s comments about how unimportant a VP is.

  • TheReezen

Yeah and when they’re all signed up for duty with their uniforms and equipment, the newly-enlisted troops first duty (along with the back up of their families) is to march on Washington and arrest and jail this “so called” new president.

  • kscrusader

Joe Biden is a decent, honest man – he has simply spoken the truth.

Yeah, as honest and decent as any Washington insider who has spent our tax dollars as THEY see fit.

Let’s understand folks: we are not a democracy! The inmates are running the asylum. Corporations and PACs are buying “our” government officials.

And, Joe Biden is no different. Joe Biden is a butt snorkeler like the rest of them.

    China invades Taiwan.

    Nuclear weapons technology transfers.
A radiological attack on the US,

I find the speculation as to whom would generate a crisis most interesting and astounding. And to back them blindly after such a comment? Sounds like nationalism. We fell for that shtick as a nation before. However, I still believe that a generated crisis is inevitable due to the ill amount of critical assessment we internationally possess/utilize as a race. And in the event of a crisis- google “directive 51″ and read the first hit, straight from whitehouse.gov.

    Chickity China the Chinese Chicken,
