I read an article at countusout
(4 articles down on the page) about this Security Force of Obama’s and it sounds like the SS in Nazi Germany. Apparently, he has already started forming this force and our tax money is going to the organization. His wife is in charge of this organization. He intends to enlarge it once he is president and expects it to be funded by the government with our tax money to the toon of $500m a year.

Seriously now. In the middle of a presidential campaign, polls tightening, sick grandmother out of the hopital since last Friday. Not IN the hospital. Lawsuit or grandmother?

Step grandmother in Kenya says she witnessed his birth, in Kenya. Step sister says he was born in one hospital in HI, another relative says it was in a different hospital.

Lawsuits in 4 states, one has lawyers twice asking for delays, why? Wouldn’t it be more cost effective to PRODUCE said birth certificate instead of pouring gas onto the fire?

I was off work early, packed and in my car with husband and kids when my mother went into hospital with serious problems. I was not going to wait. Im glad I didnt wait, she died 3 days after we got there. We did have a good visit and my kids got to know they saw their grandmother before she died.(only one was old enough to remember).

I really wonder if the McCain campaign is as dire as the MSM is making it out to be.

I’m remembering the 2004 elections. I really disliked Kerry, thought he was a lame candidate. But thought that with the anti-war sentiment brewing and the MSM pounding on Bush, Kerry had a pretty good chance. Things seemed to be blowing his way. The war and its failures were all the MSM talked about. And the voting day came, and every Democrat (myself a former Dem included) and the MSM were blindsided by the “moral values” voters. We were like “WHAT?” With the war failures going on these people think moral values is the top priority? The MSM completely failed to report on Karl Rove’s strategy of putting anti gay marriage proposals on state ballots, drawing out the “moral values” voters who of course would vite for Bush. It was like, a full week, before the MSM came around to understanding what just hit them over the head. They have a great knack for being blind to anything they don’t like to see.

Right now, there’s no repugnant Rove orchestrated anti-gay strategy in play. But there is one spunky, likeable Gov Pailin on all ballots, and she is the embodiment of the traditional values that are personal to the moral value voters. I can’t help but wonder if comes election day, these very same moral values voters, who the media completely ignores, and who have totally different agenda than all things obsessed by the media, will once again prevail.

Does anyone remember how Kerry and Bush were polling at this time during the last election? I don’t remember. Didn’t pay much attention because I didn’t like either candidate.

So it really won’t be over till it’s over.

I work for a judge and have some experience with how this works. When the Expedited (emergency) Order to Show Cause is filed, it normally would have a Proposed Order to Show Cause attached, which Mr. Martin’s does. We set a hearing date and time usually within a few days, a week at most.

As an aside, I notice that Mr. Martin is representing himself pro se, meaning he has not retained a lawyer to represent him and do the legal work. A quick Google check shows that Mr. Martin has a J.D. (law) degree. I quickly read through his legal submissions and they didn’t strick me as the rantings of a lunatic, and believe me I’ve seen plenty of them!

I haven’t seen anywhere that Mr. Obama was personally served with the Order to Show Cause, but it is rare to go ahead with an action without service. So just thinking out loud here…service…filing…requesting a hearing by October 22nd. It is quite possible that Proposed Order is no longer just proposed and is now an Order signed by the judge with an actual hearing date and time. Yep, that might explain the sudden trip to visit grandma in HI.

I’m not a lawyer, but I do have two decades of courtroom and courthouse experience.

I know Biden has gotten a free pass on lots of gaffes that the press would have slaughtered Palin for saying.

The thesis of the video essay was that Biden is purposely throwing the election for the good of the country.

Yes, Palin got the voters who were (at best) lukewarm on McCain. In Colorado, there is a ballot measure that will also turn out those voters. It basically says life begins at conception. Should I be wrong on this (and even over and beyond this post at API’s Web site, I have reason to believe that I am), I will gladly own up to it — once I’m finished doing the dance of joy in my living room.

I asked Philip Berg, via e-mail, whether or not he thought the API/Michelle Obama tapes were real and whether they would in fact be released within the next day or so as Chief Editor Korir maintains. His answer was simple, and firm.

“Yes,” Berg wrote.

I will say that there is more to this that I simply cannot report. Still, keep checking here for updates. In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed, and know that I am doing the same.

As I remember, everyone expected Kerry to win right up to the afternoon of the election. The exit polls all pointed that way, and he was ahead in the late polling numbers. They even announced a Kerry win. But Ohio was the tipping point, Bush took Ohio and Kerry refused to contest the results. It was razor thin but a win is a win. And Bush had an undeniable majority in the popular vote [not sure how], unlike the questionable FL numbers in 2000.

I was reading about Louis Farrakhan and noticed he has a team of people protecting his home in Chicago..they are called the Fruit of Islam..also I read an article awhile back about a neighborhood in Florida that has people just like that patrolling in certain neighborhoods.Wished I’d thought to keep that article….But do google Fruit of Islam..either way,it is frightening to think about.

I’m sorry, because I don’t know the circumstances of Obama’s mother death, nor do I know their relationship very well, BUT I DO know that he also has a TV ad here in Ohio and he states “My mother died of cancer at 53. In those last painful months, she was worried about health insurance…etc”

I’m not sure of the word for word text, but I know it begins like that, and as someone who recently lost my mother to a very unexpected cancer very young, I was disgusted and personally hurt that he would just blurt that out on national TV to make a cheap political point. I was so pissed. I still am. I couldn’t imagine exploiting my mother’s pain and suffering for political gain. Disgusting man he is.

I know the pain of losing your mom, and it’s fucking horrific. It’s not something you politicize to win the Presidency.

THAT is why I have to say–and I’m sorry to do so–that I have a sneaking suspicion that there is also some ohter element to Obama’s trip to Hawaii. I’m sorry to have to say that, I really am, but the man has told lie after lie and has distorted so much information. I find the timing of his trip odd in 2 ways:
1.) The lawsuit in Hawaii coming out this week
2.) Most importantly: YOU CANNOT PICK AND CHOOSE WHEN TO VIVSIT A FRAIL, EXTREMELY ILL PERSON! TIME IS PRECIOUS AND IS NOT GUARANTEED. HOW COULD HE WAIT 3 DAYS TO GO SEE HER?!

This is all really strange and hurtful and f’ed up.

I don’t pray because I am not a monotheist. I am an atheist. I can wish her well and as with anyone be willing to do all I could for her but I cannot ‘pray’ for her. Are people who don’t drink that Kool-Aid welcome in this discussion? Or does everybody in the US have to believe the words on your actual money? Just asking. So is Richard Dawkins – at least in principle.

It seems that all the injuries Granny has sustained from repeatedly being thrown under the bus have finally caught up with her. I truly hope that ALL of our prayers are with her. All cynicism aside, and all alterior motives aside, let’s not be so callous that we minimize the possibility that Granny really is gravely ill. As much as I despise Obama, I’ll not sacrifice my humaninity by ignoring the accomplishments and contributions of a woman, who by all acounts was nothing short of admirable. Please say a prayer for her, we can still be in utter visceral contempt for Barack.

Here in downtown Chicago I just visited the 7-11 on my block. An African American middle-aged male who was a uniformed doorman from a nearby Hilton or Hyatt hotel was adamant about NOBAMA! In his words, “I’ll spend or give MY money. No government’s gonna do that better for me. Its MY MONEY!”

I said “High Five, Go McCain!” and he slapped my palm back and said “All the way!”

That, was hilarious!

Today, an “educated/creative class” friend saw my McCain/Palin sticker on my briefcase and said, “Hey, where’d you get that?”. I mentioned that I got it at the Republican HQ when I stopped by to discuss doing some work for the campaign, and he asked, “Do they have more? Can you get me one? I’d like to put one on my car.”

Yeah, seriously. In my case, not only didn’t I use it for professional gain… I took a several-month leave from my job with almost no notice to be primary caregiver, because there was no one else even remotely in a position to do it. I paid dearly in karma lost at that employer, when they didn’t understand why I couldn’t wait a couple weeks to begin the leave, but I don’t regret -at all- making the choice that I did.

Had I waited 2 weeks, I’d have lost almost 1/3 of the time I had left with my Mom, and I would have regretted THAT for the rest of my life.

I googled Palin’s genealogy and found a lengthy listing of her ancestors — maternal and paternal.

Note: my father’s side is from Idaho (as is Palin’s family tree) — and I’ve traced my father’s genealogy — discovering that both his parents have a lengthy Mormon pedigree — going back to the very early days of Joseph Smith.

It turns out that there are a lot of Mormons in Palin’s list of ancestors.

This isn’t surprising because there are probably millions of us who have Mormon ancestors — my grandfather fled the church and wanted nothing to do with religion.

More then likely Mormons are aware of Palin’s genealogy — after all genealogy seems to be part of the Mormon religion (grin).

I know what you mean. I was pretty much fresh outta college, and had a job offer where I had done an internship. (This was just 3 weeks before I even knew my mom was sick). I just had a feeling I shouldn’t take the job. My mom did, too. So I decided not to.

Turns out 3 weeks later we get the absolute worst surprise of our lives. My mom was only sick for 6 months, and I spent every single day with her. It was so hard trying to keep it together but we still had a lot of fun–we always did.

If I had taken the job, I would have quit right away, but I don’t think Mom would have felt good about that.

You’re absolutely right: we will never have to beat ourselves up over time wasted. But I’m still looking for any semblence of peace. I don’t think I’ll ever find it. I hope you’ve been able to.

Someone could be playing this group. A person claiming possession of the recording posted a blurb from what looked like a US IP address on the API site. The API site claimed when I looked they accept new contributors. So you could be correct the site is legit but on this story maybe there is a big problem. And as of last night Berg is not their attorney, at least not yet. There was no official announcement from his site. Questioning what appears to be a fanciful story from a site that accepts new contributors is not “smearing.”
