Federal Law mandates women in labor receive medical care regardless of insurance or lack thereof.

First off, Mom and I spent 24 hours in labor and when I first felt the rush of life outside the womb, the doctors rushed me off to neo-natal ICU… What a place!

…but I am getting ahead of myself and need to start from the beginning.

Mom…what can I say? She is the best. She is 19, going to college and as I have heard her tell the her doctor when we went for a check up, Grandpa Teak’s health insurance will pay for Moms visit to hospital where I would be born…(what ever being born is…)

Turns out that just because I was “born”,(which I am still really confused about), Grandpa Teak’s health insurance paid for Mom’s half of me being born but they won’t pay for my half. And besides why do I have to pay?
After I read the fine print about being born, it says the moment they cut that thing called the umbilical cord I am on my own. (such a deal eh?)
Who was that lady telling mom that we “needed” “Medical” because Grandpa Teak’s healthcare won’t pay for this place I am right now…
I thought it was from being born that I got here, why is it, as a part of being born they are telling mommy (and this other person called Daddy) that they might owe thousands of dollars for me staying in this fancy place? I did NOT want to be here, but here I am.

What is a dependant of a dependent?

I wonder if I will ever go to collage like mom. How can mom and dad ever send me there if they are in debt because of me!?

Hey Grandpa I have question for you. Can you tell me why your healthcare does not want to pay for my half of being born? I mean it was a tough deal being born ‘cause mom had a problem and I had it too.
Grandpa Teak:
I don’t know ‘Bella, I was told your mom was covered. See? I even have a letter here that says so. And as a consequence of you “being Born” and your mom having a problem, they don’t want to pay for your care as part of “being born”.
In fact, even if Grandpa went out and bought healthcare for you, they might deny me, because you have something called “a pre-existing condition”; because you had the misfortune of being born with a problem that was caused by your mom…
So because my healthcare won’t pay, you will have to go on Medical and the doctor that brought your own mom into this world won’t be your doctor…and if you say your mommy and daddy are living at Grandpa Teak’s, Medical will want to look at how much money Grandpa Teak makes and you won’t get Medical either. So your mommy and daddy and you will have to move out, even though they can’t afford to.

Me; Grandpa Teak, I am only 25 hours old and thousands of dollars in debt. It just ain’t right.

I also hope there are reporters out there who will watch him to see if he goes to the court to take action to stop Andy Martin.

Only thing in Obama’s defense for not leaving the campaign immediately, is the fact that he’s in Florida, which is an important campaign stop.

i’ve been thinking in light of the media distortions this election, that it’s really dangerous to allow one company to control our information as google is going to be able to do. as it begins to dominate, and as computer use increases, everyone depends on being able to do a search on the net. but won’t they also be able to manipulate the info (i’m somewhat computer illiterate so maybe i’m wrong on this)

A couple of nights ago I had an extremely vivid dream in which I was an English Bulldog asleep in the hallway of Barak and Michelle’s apartment (they lived in a hi-rise in my dream).

The couple were having furious row and throwing things at each other. I couldn’t understand what they were shouting because I was a dog.

Mind you in the next scene I was walking along a promenade past an artist who was painting a scene and I grabbed his palette and threw it like a Frisbee into the ocean. Boy, was he pissed.

Though not reported widely in the national press, there were approximately 120,000 so-called “undervotes” in Cook County, Illinois, according to Sen. Barak Obama (D-Chicago), sponsor of the voting legislation, Senate Bill 33.

But the data shows this discrepancy:

There were other problems with the vote in Chicago this past presidential election in addition to the allegations publicized by Sen. Obama, according to research conducted through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by the Family Taxpayers Network, a conservative group.

The research shows that in 10 precincts here there were actually more votes cast for President than there were registered voters. For example, the FTN’s research shows that in the 1st Precinct of the 25th Ward, there were 576 registered voters. But there were 1063 ballots cast. Gore received 748 of those votes, while Bush earned just 174.
