How close to the entrance of the polling location were Sen Obama’s people standing-the one’s that were giving out free water and instructing, urging, voters to vote for Sen Obama?

This is called electioneering. It’s illegal when conducted on days that voting is taking place at poll locations.

What city & state is your polling place located at?

What precinct?

Did you notice if any members of the Poll Worker Team noticed Obama’s people?

What you witnessed Sen obama’s people doing was most likely was illegal.

And…if it happened in your polling place it must be happening throughout the country.

Please feel free to post details here because I am sure people who are collecting this type of info for documentation purposes will see it BUT…YOU NEED TO CONTACT YOUR LOCAL REGISTRAR OF VOTERS and Your Secretary of State’s office. You can also contact your local media including radio, newspaper, local citizen blog sites. -you can do this anonymously if you prefer & ask them to come see for themselves.

It definetely would not hurt to contact any Republican Party campaign headquarters located in your town to make them aware of this situation.

Yeah. I really expect THOSE people to get up and defend the country against Obama on the issue of his eligibility for the Presidency.

Oh, come on. Only one of the pics could truly be considered “not work or young family friendly”. (Even that pic wouldn’t be too risque if the guy were posed on the beach and he were wearing a Speedo–or dark-colored briefs.)
Have to admit, I much preferred the pictures to the accompanying article.

this is what the campaign does each time. it’s the same as when he said that he would meet with rogue leaders without precondition. then they changed it to his administration will meet after preparations. they are also trying to re-write what biden said to mean that every president gets tested. i don’t think he’s going to be able to get away with it this time. the media will try. but everyone saw joe the plumber and the video and the way the media went after joe the plumber.

and they have also tweaked their economic plan to avoid the label socialist by adding a work component so that the “tax” cut won’t be going to anyone not paying taxes to begin with.

The entire nation needs to hear this speech of McCain’s, because in the debates we only get to hear snippets. McCain needs to buy 30 minute segments on primetime TV, just as Obama will be doing, and explain all of this to the people. If we the people have to finance this in the form of internet donations, I will be first in line, and I’m sure millions of you will be right behind me. Can someone in the know get out the message to the McCain campaign ASAP???

In 1992, the top tax rate was 31% on an income of just $86,500 (net tax collected, $26,815). In 1993, the year Clinton was inaugurated, the top tax rate increased to 39.6% on an income of just $89,150 (net tax collected, $35,303) which works out to an income increase of $2650 (just over 3%) delivering an increase in a net collection of $8488 (a percentage increase of more than 31.6%). In 1994, while no change in the top tax rate took place, the income level jumped to $250,000, resulting in a net collection of $99,000 (income level increase of more than 180%; tax collection increase of 180%). Over the next decade, while the top tax rate remained largely constant (only dropping by a half percentage point in for tax years 2001 and 2002 each, then dropping to 35% in 2003), the top income level has increased (increasing by roughly 3% each year from 1994 to 2002; in 2003, the increase was almost 1.6%).
What all of this means, ultimately, is nothing. Even under Clinton, the income tax and the top tax rate were incredibly LOW by historical comparison. When the income tax was first introduced in 1913, the TOP tax rate was 7% (no, you’re not misreading–SEVEN PER CENT) on an income of $500,000. That’s right. Someone earning a half million dollars in 1913 paid only 7% ($35,000) of that in income tax (by one source, that would be the same as earning $11 MILLION today and paying more than 3/4 of a million dollars in taxes). However, in 1941, the rate was 81% on $5 MILLION, or $4,050,000 (today’s dollars–$74 MILLION income; almost $60 MILLION in taxes). Roosevelt’s WWII-era top rate was 94% on $200,000 (in 1944 and 1945)–an increase in the tax rate, but a substantial drop in the income level (today’s dollars–income of nearly $2,500,000 results in a tax burden of $2,350,000).
Throughout the Eisenhower and Kennedy Administrations, the top tax rate exceeded 90% on just $400,000 (in today’s dollars, the 1953 income level would be 3.23 million dollars while the 1963 income level would be 2.86 million dollars).
(Incidentally, the $250,000 in 1994 and the $311,950 in 2003 would both be worth roughly $370,000 in 2008.)

Obama today on what he told Joe the Plumber about ‘spread the wealth’:

Barack Obama: “In that sense, that does involve us spreading around opportunity.” OBAMA: “The simple point I was making was that even assuming he’s at a point that he wants to buy a business that he hopes will generate more than $250,000, the point I was making was that ten years ago or five years ago or even a year ago when he was making a lot less than that, he was having a tough time. … We don’t mind people getting enormously wealthy because of their skills and their talents and their drive. But we always want to make sure that the playing field is such where everybody who’s got a good idea has a chance to succeed. Everybody’s got a chance to get financing. So why the news “now” that the polls are tightening up? You think maybe the MSM finally got the picture that Obama really doesn’t care about them, when he started selling media spots to his coronation?

Won’t this be so sweet, for him to have to give a concession speech, which all the media would have had to pay for after carrying him these past two years.

Mr. McCain’s proposal replaces the tax subsidy for employer-sponsored health insurance that individuals don’t now receive if they buy on their own. It merely changes the nature of the tax subsidy; it doesn’t create a new one.
