White Man Shouldn’t Dance

by Mike Price

[Note from Larry Johnson:  Mike is a friend and had a rant I found worthy of sharing.  Enjoy]

Get real. George Bush doesn’t run this country any more that Mickey Mouse runs Disney.

By now, anyone who isn’t brain-dead recognized the ineluctable truth that its Karl Rove, with the occasional bizarre assistance of Dick Chaney, who controls George Bush, the White House, the United States Congress, the Justice Department, Bush’s totally corrupt administration, Fox News, and, by extension, the policies and activities of the government of the Unites States.

See how well it works when a pair of draft dodgers run the store?

Rove’s admirers refer to him as, “brilliant,” and a “genius.” These admirers are, of course, the same party-line lock-step automatons that also refer to the smirking parasite currently occupying the Oval Office as, “our heroic leader.”

At best, Rove is only just smart enough to fool a gullible and lazy national media into believing he’s anything more than a trusted hanger-on. It is his adoring toadies, themselves collectively no brighter than a carload of slaughterhouse-bound cattle, who confuse Rove’s larcenous duplicity with genuine intelligence.

The good news for this country is the two fatal flaws to which Karl Rove must inevitably succumb, and which will inevitably destroy him. First is his insatiable greed for power. Magnified by his position, and enabled by the laziness and stupidity of the president of the United States, Rove’s power continues to grow despite the recent – and, sadly, temporary – scandal in which he is currently embroiled.

Second is Karl Rove’s legendary, out-of-control ego. George Bush’s, “spiritual guide,” cannot tolerate even the slightest suggestion of fallibility, and thus protects his image of super-intelligence by relentlessly reinforcing the unprecedented secretiveness of the White House he so completely dominates.

A stunning example of Rove’s ego-driven imbalance is demonstrated by his reckless outing of Valerie Plame, the former covert CIA agent. Endangering not only her life, but the lives of literally dozens of other courageous and loyal American CIA operatives, Rove’s childish vengeance was simply no more than an act of intimidation against her husband, ambassador Joe Wilson, for uncovering the fact that George Bush used a Rove-approved forged intelligence report as a basis to lie to the American people.  Clearly, America’s true national security took a distant second place to Karl Rove’s compulsive need for secrecy and total control.

In a war as illegitimate as the appointment of George W. Bush to this tragic presidency, well over thirty-two hundred brave American lives have been sacrificed to the Rove-Chaney cabal’s greedy lust for power and money and oil, more oil, more oil… And over twenty-four thousand less well-connected Americans have been maimed for life. Countless families have been destroyed. But to Karl Rove, Dick Chaney and George Bush, those Americans are of little consequence. Pawns, not people.

Remember it? Thanks to the cooperation of a handful of well-trained Saudi stooges, a nightmare occurred where more than three thousand victims (mostly Jews and foreigners and certainly few, if any, Born-again Christians) perished in the worst crime in America’s history. I believe with my heart and gut that on that horrific morning of 9-11, alone and safe behind the locked door of his sumptuous White House office, Karl Rove danced.

“Karl Rove danced”…..along with the Israeli movers in Jersey. Fine rant.

  • Bill Keyes

Quote Larry…..” I believe with my heart and gut that on that horrific morning of 9-11, alone and safe behind the locked door of his sumptuous White House office, Karl Rove danced.”

Thanks Larry for daring to touch on the terrible truth behind what really happened on 9/11. As I have said many times if the real truth of WHO was behind what happened on 9/11 was known, everything would coming crashing down in a nano second.

But I further believe the Herr Karl and Herr Cheney-Gobbles led the dance with the devil to commit the awful travesty that has befallen this country in the last six years.

We can only hope that if they sold their souls to the devil that soon he will come to claim them and maybe this nightmare will end.

  • Uppity Gal

Great rant Mike. FUNNY title Larry.

  • BrendaStewart

Mike, great rant. I feel like this myself. Thanks Larry, for publishing his rant for us.

  • Crackers

I know that Chimpy isn’t capable of rational thought, and so Rove and VP SOB are running the show.

Has somebody delved into Rove’s past? I mean going all the way back to his high school years: What do former friends and acquaintances say about him?

Was he the last guy picked during gym basketball? Was he the chub nobody wanted to sit next to on the bus? Was he the class tormentor, the class smart-ass, the class woosie, or the class egg-head? Certainly not the class jock and popular guy.

We learn from history, and I want to know what his history was like…especially since he seems to be sharing the title of “Unelected President of the United States” with Chimpy.

Crackers writes: “Has somebody delved into Rove’s past? I mean going all the way back to his high school years: What do former friends and acquaintances say about him?”

Larry – we need to offer some sort of internet bounty for anyone that has the “goods on Rove.” LOL :)

I’m sure that there is someone out there that has the skinny on that slimy, but careful little prick. He hasn’t gotten into that position without being vetted and tracked. If only they would come forward.

    OT
There is an interesting article in The Independent entitled “The botched US raid that led to the hostage crisis” by Patrick Cockburn. I doubt if the story gets any play in the US press but it is definitely worth the time to check out.

  • Sandy

Crackers and Waiting in Texas — Netflix has a DVD, Bush’s Brain, which is eye-opening. You may want to rent it. Also, Frontline has one, The Architect…about Rove.

    Sniveling, steaming pile of…..

Oops. Sorry. He does that to me.

Imagine testifying FIVE TIMES before a grand jury and getting away with it. (Viv. Novak, may you rot!) sigh So close. No cigar. sigh (Fitz, you tried.)

Some day….when it ALL comes out, I won’t be surprised…..at all. Anything goes with that one. Anything.

Thanks for the heads up, MEP.

Karl Rove seems to have no qualms about outing and destroying other people, so I think turnabout is entirely fair play.

That sickening rap dance he did: I know his kind from my high school years. He is one or more of the things I posted in my earlier thread.

The corporate-owned media does not report these things, because they know how “powerful” this little dick, this Pillsbury Doughboy, is.

I just think it’s high time he was outed.

And I still want to know why Jeff Gannon was so welcomed at the White House.

  • Waiting in Texas

    Crackers:
I was going to go into Gannongate but yes, there are many internet rumors about Karls sexual preferences. I just don’t want to unfairly accuse someone of that no matter how much I loathe them. But hey, where’s Gannon and Ken Mehlman…..I think the internet bounty is a superb idea.

  • Crackers

This has nothing to do with internet rumors.

Gannon is a fact just as Guantánamo Bay is a fact.

I don’t give a crap about his sexuality. I just want everything about Turd Blossom “outed”.

  • Centrocitta

What was Rove up to between the years of 1994 and 2000 when Clinton was still president and being deliberately “distracted” but Bush was governor of Texas? I seem to remember that Ruby Ridge, Waco and Oklahoma City occured during those years.

  • Steambomb

Get real. George Bush doesn’t run this country any more that Mickey Mouse runs Disney.

I agree with you on this however your post leads the reader to believe that it’s mostly Rove. While that may be true domestically. I don’t believe it to be true on foreign policy. I honestly believe that if Rove had played a major role on foreign it might not have been such a collosal fuckup. No that was all Cheney. And given the amount of time this administration has spent on foreign verses domestic (at least what we know of domestic the drip of info is turning into a half bore faucet now) I would have to say that control of decisions has been 65% Cheney, 34% Rove and 1% Bush (when to have a press conference and not ride the bike).

I am curious your thoughts on Sibel Edmonds’ revelation that Brewster Jennings, as a cover entity, may have been blown well before Valerie’s name was leaked via OVP. An October interview with Mathieu Verboud, director of Kill the Messenger, contains this gem:

Later, in April 2006, we confronted Sibel with this set of facts and ask her to go on the record. Sibel’s line about Plame and Brewster Jennings is just gold. She said: “During my time at the FBI, I never heard the name Valerie Plame – but if you are asking me about Brewster Jennings, that’s another story, a story that I cannot comment on because I cannot talk about anything that I did at the FBI – and the targets and the details of the investigations.” The message is crystal clear: there are mentions of Brewster Jennings on the wiretaps! Praises to Sibel to be so smart in front of a camera.

    hello all… great post…

MEP you are right about the post on Independent. I read it , and another, over the WE, and had that gut renching feeling that I get when I smell the real truth behind the bushsheet… here is the link for everyone, and another on the same topic…BTW, I heard that timetable for Iran has been moved up… to Friday… I suppose they had to wait long enough to pretend they gave them a ‘chance’ to cooperate… WTF..

Crackers — the only thing I’ve heard about Rove’s past is that in junior high, he was beaten up by a girl. Combine that with a microscopic male organ and you get an insatiable lust for power — because he can’t do anything about that other kind of lust. Also, re: Rove dancing on 9/11, I don’t believe you have to subscribe to enormously complex conspiracy theories to think he had something to do with it. All anybody had to do was hire the terrorists and all they needed for that was enough money and a good enough cover story to get bin Laden to sign on. Remember PNAC’s screed in 1998? It specifically called for “another Pearl Harbor” to incite the American people against Muslims.

  • Crackers

I really like this topic, because now we’re at the heart of the cancer that is eating our nation.

We’re going on 7 years of unbelievable lies, torture, killing, unexplained government behavior when our nation was attacked, an unexplained whore in the White House, unexplained disinterest in a city with American bodies floating in the streets, unexplained voter fraud, unexplained anthrax letters, unexplained WMD “evidence”, an unexplained outing of CIA agent, unexplained EVERYTHING.

    Dead people are everywhere.

There will be no apologies from me about “conspiracy theories”: horrendous activities have occurred over these last few years, and the bastards have gotten away with it. For them, no lie is big enough; the bigger the better. They are masters of conspiracy, masters of propaganda, masters of lies and deceit, masters of swiftboating one hero after another while being cowards themselves.

Surely Larry’s vast network of contacts have the dirt on Doughboy. I suggest they sprinkle it liberally wherever and whenever they can.

Now’s the time to cut the blossom off this turd.

  • Sandy

I STILL want to know why they didn’t put Chris Matthews under oath and ask him what Karl Rove said to him….that “his wife is FAIR GAME”….meaning Valerie Plame.

And then make that one of the questions to Rove as well, “Did you or did you not say to Chris Matthews “HIS WIFE IS FAIR GAME”???

He would, of course, lie. But then it would be Matthews’ word against Rove’s.

If calling someone’s wife “fair game” doesn’t show the conspiracy against the Wilsons, then what would?

  • Diane

I’m not sure I believe in a 9/11 conspiracy, but I do believe that this administration did nothing to stop it.

Has anyone looked at the original Patriot Act?

If it was not 9/11 the administration had this this document prepared ahead of time for Something!!!

  • Sheerahkahn

Though I seriously think it’s a stretch to imagine Rove dancing, I do think he was not one to let opportunity slide by without capitalizing on it. Hence, all the vid ops…very well staged.
However, I think Rove is a domestic power player, and in the international arena he only takes the cheerleading position.
However, Rove’s job is quite obvious: No matter how f^ckedup Bush makes the world, Rove’s mission is to insure that Bush remains polish to the stalwart few who still sip the koolaid.

  • Sara

To read up on Rove since 2001, read Moore and Slater’s “The Architect” it is all there if you want to know it. Among other things, apparently Rove is either an Agnostic or an Aethiest — his parents divorced when he was in High School (Utah) — reason, his father was Gay, and he subsequently went to live in the Palm Springs Gay Community, and at times, Karl lived with his dad. As Karl became more successful financially, he supported his Dad. Karl never finished College, too involved with electorial politics.

In the latter respect he is “brilliant” — not a precinct in the country where he doesn’t know the numbers, and which hot button issues leverage which votes. But he has absolutely no empathy for the less fortunate, and is totally amoral in how he applies his gifts.

If I were 40 years younger and looking for a Political Science/American Studies/American History Dissertation Topic, I would do the topic, Karl Rove compared and contrasted with Louis Howe.

(Who is Louis Howe you Ask — well in a way he was FDR’s Karl Rove. He was an upstate NY Reporter, covering the NYState Legislature, and in 1911 befriended FDR who was trying As a Freshman legislator, to “reform” Tammany Hall. They became complete friends from that day till Howe died in the White House, at the time of FDR’s second election in 1936. Howe also knew every Democratic county and sometimes precinct chair in the country, every inch of every urban machine, and given the political practice of those days, he was the Architect of FDR. But more than that — he also trained Eleanor as a public pol — taught her to drive, speak in public, lowered her vocal register a bit, and helped her create the image that kept FDR in the public mind while he dealt with Polio. No Louis Howe, No FDR. I believe a serious comparative study of the political practice of Howe and Rove would brilliantly show the change in electorial democracy over about 90 years. (the 20th century). Howe’s papers are at Hyde Park. Hopefully Waxman can recover Rove’s from Cyberspace.

  • Tap Duncan

This is one of those topics that I can’t help but comment on. I’ve been thinking about the movie Bushs’ brain. I’ve asked this before, didn’t James Moore state that Karl has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Germany? I’ve heard he was a huge admirer of Joseph Goebbels. The architect of Hitlers’ rise to power. That being said, it would make perfect sense how he came to be who he is. There is not one other polarizing figure in American politics today, and sadly he is the WH running the puppet known as GWB. No college degree? Hmmm, So what qualifies him to be there? Maybe he give good head? Maybe he learned a little something from the ole man after all!! It also figures that a dirt bag like him would latch onto a dirt bag like shrub. Think about his quote that he saw something in shrub during a chance encounter at a meeting with Bush 41′s office, maybe the crush is simply out and out love for a fellow narcissist. As Al Franken wrote in his book Lies and the Lying Liars, Barbara is mean, mean as a snake, and shrub is her boy and Karl is fucking cruel and ruthless- Gee sounds like a match made in hell. This family has to go, now, asap, yesterday, last month, etc. etc.- Hang Tough- Tap

  • Centrocitta

Thanks for the excellent comments here of which I heartily concur, while Bill O’Reilly foams at the mouth over Rosie O’Donnell’s “conspiracy theories”.

  • Crackers

Wow. NICE posts. I seem to be monopolizing the comments here…but NICE posts!

If this stuff is true, it is no wonder that our nation is in peril at this moment (and I believe we are). The word “amoral”…it is frightening. Think about it.

The focus needs to shift to Rove. Every bit of dirt about him needs to be plastered everywhere. If this stuff is true, we’ve got a dangerous person in a high place.

An agnostic or atheist??? Once again, religion is a prop for these ‘cons.

  • Sara

Tap Duncan — nothing in either Bush’s Brain or The Architect about Rove having any connection at all to Germany, Citizenship or anything else. He’s ours, and he is homegrown.

  • ckennedy

That was dead on. Hey, you must be part of the reality based community.

    Excellent job on Olbermann, Larry.

    Keep at it folks.

  • Mr.Murder

    Rove doesn’t fool anyone.

The media is in on the game.
