Well, she's dead. I'm looking forward to the column where you speculate that Obama killed her to justify his trip.

You suck, Larry.

That was an answer to your despicable ugliness, and you call it ugliness and ban the poster.

Fu*king heartless a55holes.
-----------------

SOME of the "democratic" blogs are notorious for banning, highly intolerant of dissent.

It's best to look at your own behvior before you start accusing others of your actions, so to speak.

Otherwise, you get bogged down, confused, you lose.

This inabilty to see self doesn't bode well for a successful Obama presidency.

If you use Rove like tactics, without seeing the faults, chances are you will crash, and burn, like Bush and Cheney, too.

But you aren't capable of understanding it.

You know, I had pictured those behind the names as a bunch of Republicans too embarrassed to say what they really supported the last 8 years, and a slim few REALLY stupid, actual Dems. But your explanation makes far more sense.

I wonder how many people turn into the 60-70 crazies who post? 6? 4? Even 2, one or both of which is very good at making certain errors for each identity?

Whew, this place stinks...

I've held my nose enough. I'm outta here --

wrong sir. The last article says: "Obama’s motorcade left the park at about 3:30 p.m. At about 3:45 p.m., Obama, his daughters and his niece stopped at hisgrandmother’s Punahou-area apartment."

---------------------
I do not have the links because they are not publicly available on the Honolulu Advertiser site-- they ask for a fee. I used a paid search engine to find the info.

but here are some links from the other Honolulu Daily showing multiple visits:

1) Showing Michelle visited during the August trip. Note language ("more time"): "Obama returned to the Kailua home for a few hours before traveling with wife Michelle to Honolulu to spend <strong>more time</strong> with his grandmother"http://archives.starbulletin.com/2008/08/12/news/story01.html

2) Documenting Obama's arrival visit back in August, with a picture: http://archives.starbulletin.com/2008/08/09/news/story04.html

SO just maybe Obama did visit his grandmother more than once.....It would be nice to actually see the articles---do you have the links to the articles. I know if I was quoting some newspaper or article you would probably want the links too.

Also your articles do not seem to mention anything about Michelle or the kids visiting..I do find that strange. I also find it strange that if Obama's grandmother is Very Ill why is not Michelle with him...or the kids.

Larry: Bullshit on you. I was <em>living</em> there, not just for a visit, and I read the accounts that he visited on multiple occasions.

Here are the press clippings showing multiple trips by Barack Obama. They show he visited his grandmother on the day he arrived, August 8, on Monday, August 11, and on Tuesday, August 12, at the very least. Are you going to write a correction?

1) Documenting that Obama visited his grandmother first thing when he got to Hawaii.
All Rights Reserved
The Honolulu Advertiser (Hawaii)

August 9, 2008 Saturday

SECTION: MAIN; Pg. 1A

LENGTH: 1005 words

HEADLINE: Obama's agenda: plate lunch, surf

BYLINE: DERRICK DePLEDGE AND DAN NAKASO

BODY:

Presidential candidate to spend time off campaign trail with family on O'ahu

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama had his Hawai'i homecoming yesterday, telling a sun-drenched rally at Ke'ehi Lagoon Beach Park that he plans to enjoy a plate lunch, shave ice and body surfing on his vacation but also inviting them to join him in his campaign for change.

"How's everybody doing today?" he asked. "Howzit?"

Dressed in a short-sleeved, black polo shirt and khaki pants, Obama made it clear he was on vacation and that he was in the Islands for the first time since December 2006 to see his grandmother and sister and spend down time with his family.

. . .

FAMILY TIME

After the rally, Obama stopped for a private visit with his grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, at her Beretania Street apartment and spent more than an hour inside.

Obama had told reporters earlier that his grandmother was "sharp as a tack" but struggling with osteoporosis that limits her mobility.

"She is somebody who helped raise me, and she's the last person of the generation ahead of me who's still living, so it means a lot to me to spend time with her," he said.

Obama's entourage is at a private, beachfront residence in Kailua, where he is staying with family and friends during his weeklong visit.

He does not have other public events on his schedule. He mentioned the possibility of paying respects to his grandfather at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.

Obama is planning to attend a private, sold-out fundraiser at The Kahala Hotel & Resort on Tuesday night. Tickets were $2,300 per person and $10,000 for a VIP reception.

His appearance marked the first time that a major party presidential candidate visited the Islands during a campaign since Richard Nixon in 1960.

Ralph Nader, an independent presidential candidate, stopped here in July. U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio, an unsuccessful candidate for the Democratic nomination, campaigned here in September 2007.

Staff writer Mary Vorsino contributed to this report. Reach Derrick DePledge at ddepledge @honoluluadvertiser.com or 525-8070. Reach Dan Nakaso at dnakaso@honoluluadvertiser .com or 525-8085.

2) Referencing Obama visiting his grandmother again on Monday of his trip, August 11.

August 12, 2008 Tuesday

BODY:

Journalist questions Obama's vacation in 'foreign' destination

A group called Asian Americans for Obama sent out a media alert yesterday with the headline, "BREAKING: Hawai'i is a State," as U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka and others defended U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's decision to spend a weeklong vacation in the Islands.

Obama had another casual day yesterday: Visit his grandmother at her Makiki apartment again, watch a movie at the Ward Complex theaters and go to dinner. But his choice of vacation destinations - his hometown of Honolulu - prompted ABC News ' Cokie Roberts to twice call Hawai'i a "foreign" and "exotic" vacation destination for the man who wants to be president.

3) Documenting another visit on Tuesday, August 12

The Honolulu Advertiser (Hawaii)

Beach and basketball fill Obama's schedule before VIP fundraiser

Donors to the presidential campaign of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama were lining up last night for a sold-out private VIP reception and fundraiser at The Kahala Hotel & Resort as Obama wrapped up his second and final, official appearance of his weeklong Hawai'i vacation.

. . . .

Obama's motorcade left the park at about 3:30 p.m. At about 3:45 p.m., Obama, his daughters and his niece stopped at hisgrandmother's Punahou-area apartment.

The motorcade left the apartment at about 4:30 p.m. and arrived back at the vacation rental about 5 p.m.

Hawai'i tourism officials say U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's Hawai'i vacation last week could not have come at a better time for the state's No. 1 industry.

. . . .
Those are political distinctions. And Obama's visit could have turned out entirely different had he been in the Isles campaigning instead of spending time with his wife and children and visiting his grandmother almost every day, said state tourism liaison Marsha Wienert.

A group called Asian Americans for Obama sent out a media alert yesterday with the headline, “BREAKING: Hawai’i is a State,” as U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka and others defended U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s decision to spend a weeklong vacation in the Islands.

Obama had another casual day yesterday: Visit his grandmother at her Makiki apartment again, watch a movie at the Ward Complex theaters and go to dinner. But his choice of vacation destinations – his hometown of Honolulu – prompted ABC News ‘ Cokie Roberts to twice call Hawai’i a “foreign” and “exotic” vacation destination for the man who wants to be president.

Hawai’i tourism officials say U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s Hawai’i vacation last week could not have come at a better time for the state’s No. 1 industry.

. . . .
Those are political distinctions. And Obama’s visit could have turned out entirely different had he been in the Isles campaigning instead of spending time with his wife and children and visiting his grandmother almost every day, said state tourism liaison Marsha Wienert.
