Women And Fraud – Open Thread

Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild has been joining Gov. Palin on the campaign of late. Gov. Palin has been discussing the issues facing women, as Lady Rothschild discusss in this clip:

All I can say is if I EVER need a spokesperson, it will be SHE!!
Lady Lynn makes clear that Obama is a total fraud when it comes to walking the walk of the talking the talk he does regarding women and our rights. She is amazing…And Palin’s speech on this topic was pretty awesome, too, as Ani demonstrated in her excellent post at No Quarter, “Palin’s Message to Women Bears Repeating.

And in Breaking News regarding fraud of a different kind in Ohio, we have this:

How sad is it that prosecutors did not pursue this case further because the defendants have deep pockets? How in the WORLD could the prosecutor say it was an “innocent mistake”?? We are talking about Rhodes and Marshall scholars here, for crying out loud! Check out one of them here:

Wow. This is the youth of today – evidently, “intelligence” is no substitution for ethics, that’s obvious. And, money trumps justice, apparently. I guess we should be thankful that this case won’t necessarily affect other cases that might arise (meaning, if you don’t have deep pockets, you might actually get prosecuted). What a great system, right?? Ahem. I don’t think even Lady Lynn could make this sound good. Let’s hope that other cases of fraud, both involving voters (you know, Obama and people trying to cheat him in), are dealt with in a more forceful manner on November 4th.

Discuss this, or whatever else is on your mind!

I agree – Lynn DeRothschild is a tremendously effective speaker. I always enjoy her TV segments – she makes points that need to be made.

Regarding the fraud – I just can’t express in words any more the level of my complete and utter disgust at the Obama campaign and the liars and cheats that are part of the pack.

LADY Lynn Forester de Rothschild is exactly that – a lady! She is absolutely fabulous. The brain on her is amazing. She is quick and not only that but she is so beautiful, so poised, so fashionable. She is the epitome of a smart, successful career woman who has it all. And why should someone as brilliant as her EVER kowtow to Obama and the DNC? She made the right choice to step down from her position in the DNC and she shouldn’t go back until Dean is removed and the party gets their act together. I think all women who identify with Rothschild’s spirit, candor, tenacity, and intelligence should think twice before filling in that circle next to Obama. Democratic women in this election have many choices: vote for McCain, vote for a third party candidate, or just go to the damn SPA for the day and treat yourself instead of heading to the polling place to cast a vote for the DNC corruption. Every woman who hasn’t drunk the kool-aid needs to do their part and convince those around you to realize what I’ve just said.

I feel such pride when I look at and listen to Lynn DeRothschild I think; what’s all the bruhaha about women wanting equality with men. If I could reach some kind of equality with Lynn and Hillary and Sarah, that would satisfy my equality needs for a lifetime.

      I find such poor quality in the men we are all supposed to want to be equal to, I feel a sense of shame. Just saying;

I also want say how great it is to see these two young college women (I believe they’re still in college) doing their part to research and report this voter fraud amoung college students. Good for them!!!

I’m going to look up their website and thank them.

Let me start off with this: I have been w/ y’all a LONG time. BUt NOW you have all lost it!

I was for McCain until he picked Palin. Then being a gay man, I realized that NOW I could not support them. Im not voting Barack either. But this LOVEFEST for Palin is insane.

She is evil as the day is long. Don’t kid yourself.

I have met Lynn a couple of times and ADORE her- she is amazing. But getting behind PALIN? Jesus Christ! She IS the ANTI-Hillary.

    • HC

Palin is not “evil as the day is long”. She is a socially conservative republican with no history of legislating from the executive.

The issue many of us have with this election is that the women on both sides get to be “cunts” and “evil” but the men get a pass.

Disagree with Palin on issues. But dont come here hawking this sort of “bitches to the back” rhetoric.

I have had it with that crap.

      • http://hillarygreenmountain.org Chad C

        SOCIALLY CONSERVATIVE? Thats a Laugh.

She will undo EVERYTHING women has worked for. (not too mention be a champion for the religiously retarded, setting back social issues 100 years!)

I was for MCCain before (and even when) he chose her. But then instead of jumping on the bandwagon FOR her (how do you even do that when you support (?) Hillary) I did the research and found out that McCain picked someone who would fit in PERFECTLY in Chicago politics as well.

Don’t kid yourselves people. Hate Barack, I do. Hate the DNC. I do. But don’t throw all your HOPE and CHANGE on Palin. Or you will be under the 4 wheeler.

        • HC

          “SOCIALLY CONSERVATIVE? Thats a Laugh.”

Apparently funny to you. To the rest of us its a fact. Palin is in fact a socially conservative republican. I guess you find this CAPSWORTHY.

“She will undo EVERYTHING women has worked for. (sic)”

Thats exactly the BS I am talking about. A female VP will not and cannot “set women back”. Go sell it elsewhere. Try here: http://www.dailykos.com. I believe they are currently flaming Governor Palin over the cost of ladies haircuts.

“I was for MCCain before (and even when) he chose her.”

Another bit of complete bollocks. An excuse used by people who were never going to vote for McCain, but flirted with the idea for 30 seconds in protest over Obama.

“Hate Barack, I do. Hate the DNC. I do.”

I dont hate either. Hate is unhealthy. Obama doesnt have the experience I require in a Commander in Chief, so he doesnt get my vote.

“Bitches to the Back” What in god’s name are you talking about.

        Now you have lost it.

Don’t give me this just because she is a woman , I can’t say anything negative about her. You HC, are in Obama territory honey!

Give me a woman over a man in office any day. Just not Palin.

In your “LOVE ” for Hillary , you have lost your damn mind.

        • Dawnelle

Palin ROCKS the HOUSE for those of us living in REALITY!!

Obama is a puff of smoke and mirrors and soon gone!

          YAYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

all Barry has EVER done is BEG FOR MONEY for himself and his “acorn” people!!! NO ONE ELSE EVER!

            • Dawnelle

He doesn’t even live up to the GENERAL rule of donating

his is barely 1 percent and what he does give goes to places like TUCC and ACORN (TUCC you know WRIGHTS HOUSE OF HORRORS)

              hes a selfish pig

        • Jason

Is this the chief of police making these comments????? Nice!!

and P.s. “Bitches to the Back” What in god’s name are you talking about.

Say that you disagree with her policies if you like. I was responding to this:

“She is evil as the day is long. Don

  • AnninCA

I don’t share her outlook on many issues, but I see that she worked well to reform Alaskan politics, which was corrupt. I like that alot. I agree with the discussion on states handling their own laws regarding same-sex marriage, etc. And I find her to be more interesting than most women who run, because energy is her deal……not just children’s rights, etc.

I’m rather tired of the whole “woman” deal. Lotta good it does. When I see smears as I have this past year, down to ridiculous videos that are sleazy put out by so-called progressives, then I’m outta there.

So I disagree with your post.

    • Dominic V

You are wrong on the same sex issue. MCCain wants to leave it to the states. Miss High and Mighty would support a FEDERAL BAN, amending the Constitution.

She broke with McCain on that issue

      • makeji

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to amend the Constitution – something that has been accomplished only 25 times since 1788 when it was ratified by 3/4 of the states?

According to Article V: The congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a Convention for porposing Amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution when ratified by the Legislatures in three fourths of the several states or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress.

That’s the crux of it – the United States couldn’t get the Equal Rights Amendment passed, which had a much stronger constituency backing it.

For the most part, Sarah Palin has not, during her career, taken any steps to enforce social policy on her constituents – be it on abortion or gay marriage, however she feels personally.

IMHO those of you who object to her for these reasons are missing the boat about the significance of this election. We are looking at a very scary scenario of a load of liberal Democrats running the show. If you think that Obama is not going to spend us into a Depression, look at how he has spent money on this campaign. If he wins, it will be because he bought it.

Both Hillary and McCain have held their own in spite of this. What does that signify?

    • Stacey P

Dominic and Chad are not TROLLS. In fact Chad had HillaryGreenMountian.ORG with Carla. I am starting to agree with them. I am not voting for Obama and can’t stand the man. But with Palin, I am now not able to vote for McCain who I like.
The heaps of praise for this woman are not warranted. She did do some good things, but she at best is equal to GWB in her standings in regaurds to religion. She will rally the anti-Hillary crowd like nobody’s business. Trust me.

She did break from McCain on the marriage amendment. McCain respects states decision to decide and she would like to see a federal amnedment to the constitution. That is wrong.

      • HC

I disagree with Palin’s stance on gay marriage. I am also not wild about Obama’s (lack of) stance on it. Frankly nobody running for president wants to touch this issue. Not democrats, not republicans. Not libertarians this round. Not really even greens.

What will I do about it?

I will vote for congressional representatives that match my feeling on the issue, because its a legislative issue, not an executive issue.

Palin is “Evil as the day is long” is BS. An anti gay marriage amendment is an actual issue.

Consider that your vote would be for McCain as prez. McCain needs Palin so republicans will vote for him, and in that role she is very effective. But shes only running for VP, not the top spot.

  • Dawnelle

    Ignore the trolls

unless you just like WASTING blog space!!!

I liked Carly F too. I was sorry they booted her from being a surrogate due to the one boo-boo she made.

She was right. None of the candidates are qualified to run a major corporation. Her answer might not have been picture-pretty, but it wasn’t anywhere close to being as bad as Biden’s latest gaffe.

He’s an idiot, in my opinion. Talk about scary? I wondered what in the world it would be like with that idiot at the help if, God forbid, Obama wins and something happens to him.

If there is one single negative for me against the O ticket, it would have to be Biden. I just think he’s a pompous fool who has a huge, huge ego.

Run for president and get a lousy 8000 votes?

I’d die and hide under a rock!
