Everything has definitely been moved over, but what will happen on your computer is that if you go to a page you’ve visited before, your browser may bring up a cached copy, or try to go to the cached address (our old server). That’s why it’s good to clear cache. It can take a few days for everybody to get pointed in the right direction.

Berg will appeal. Hard to say what scotus will do. They could easily affirm Berg but they know other state suits will be coming to them after the election and they might decide there is compelling reason to settle it now. If Obama wins, it is far from certain that he will ever be inaugurated, but neither will McCain. And that might be what is at the root of much of this, an attempt to stall and give Obama time to win the election in which case we may be looking at Biden.

So the judge took TWO months to dismiss the lawsuit? Okay, I think there was some behind the scenes negotiating going on here.

And now the clock has been run out to the point where Berg can’t get anything done before election day.

And since the case was dismissed the press won’t cover it- so no one is going to make Obama prove anything.

He continues to break every election standard we have and no one is doing anything about it!

I am sure I heard that the judge ordered Obama to provide proof of birth in the U.S. What became of that, or did I hear wrong?

It should look identical. It is identical — nothing has changed except our server address.

There have been many rumors to that effect put out. There are also more suits all the time requesting a BC. As of Oct. 25, 8:47 MST, it doesn’t seem to have happened. But we can keep visualizing it happening.

The state suits should have been filed much earlier. At this point there is no way any of them can be adjudicated before the election. But all we really need is for one to get to discovery and pry loose the bc. Also a chance scotus will take a broader view on the Berg case. But that said, I think we are going to have to beat this tool at the polls, so let’s focus on that.

Well, I agree with the judge in one sense. Individuals shouldn’t be allowed to “demand” proof. Proof of citizenship is the purview of the State Dept, I believe, in issuing passports, etc.

There are imperfect state agencies/hospitals, etc., who screw up paperwork on births/deaths. Hence, the ever-predictable story of the man who is deemed dead and is still alive, etc.

The agencies have other means of proof.

To allow everyone to file these types of lawsuits would mean that every election would be clogged with nuisance suits.

There will always be those who think he’s not a citizen.

I don’t agree. I think he is, and this is a far-flung attempt to smear him.

It reminds me of the entire fiasco in the news media over Howard Stern, where Larry was allowed to “demand” proof of paternity.

At the time, I thought….oh boy, what a can of worms. That means any idiot can walk up to you and demand that you prove your kid is your kid!

AnninCa…How can you say that? Simple logic says that if he’s a-okay like MCCAIN he would just SHOW the documents. I would never vote for Obama, ever. But if I were even thinking about it I would have a very hard time rationalizing someone who hides behind his lawyers, rather than show a BC. That’s ridiculous. It’s not some mudslinging at him. The fact is there is no specified mechanism for ensuring that a presidential candidate meets requirements. Not the parties, not the state dept, not the FEC or anyone else. Does that mean Article II is void? of course not. One way or another scotus will have to rule on all this.

I think one thing is very clear: Obama has spent huge amounts of money and allowed millions of people to doubt his natural born status, and for what? To avoid releasing his vault bc. Now why on earth would he do that? There is only one reason and that is he has something to hide. If it is not the natural born citizen status it is something else.

This is not far flung and it is not a smear. It is unthinkable that someone can be elected president while hiding something so fundamental as his very IDENTITY from the voters!

There may be cached dns information on the Internet to the old server address. You could put a server side redirect on the old server redirecting any misdirected traffic to the i.p. address of the new server. The site doesn’t seem to be setting browser cookies. Maybe in migrating the site somewhere a config file was missed? Just a guess.

Took 3 minutes for test message to show up.

Provided you have the database server on the same machine as the web server and that it also was migrated… look for tweaks made to the old mysql setup that maybe were overlooked in migration. Specifically to the MySQL query cache as wordpress makes a lot of repetitive requests.

However now many posts like jrjd’s long post in this thread above now have black diamonds with a white question mark on it scattered throughout–some punctuation substitution?

Sorry I misspelled your initials I’m trying to see some pattern to this. It could be the quotes, but then in some places the apostrophe is replaced, others the paragraph, I think. It isn’t very consistent.

Could be both sites are bogged down by all the interest in The Precious refusing to deal with the birth certificate issue? Makes it harder to diagnose when this server was just moved.

Annie, let me tell you a big secret. I deal with federal agencies every day and they get things screwed up all the time. With the lack of transparency and their ability to work behind the scenes and answer to no one, how in the world does it make us feel better to know they are taking care of things and making sure its all kosher? Besides, the State Department doesn’t vet anything about the candidates. They were either incompetent or complicit in the passport break in saga last spring and that has fallen into a black hole.

My machine’s DNS server still has no entry for noquarterusa.net. How did I get here? I found a DNS query site that did have noquarter listed and copied the IP into my host file. All this time, I thought no quarter had been hacked.

I guess it takes two days for it to update everywhere.

Suggestion: I think that it is really important that NQ start working on a more open format, the format is what made Orange Urinal so popular.
Mdd has one a little more primitive.

The reason it is important is that it allows for more interaction, and builds a sense of community and contribution. Also very addictive.

One feature that I would most like to see is a personal home page, where you can see all of your posts, and responses to your posts.
Otherwise, you can never find your posts, and respond to responses.
