With the lack of transparency and their ability to work behind the scenes and answer to no one, how in the world does it make us feel better to know they are taking care of things and making sure its all kosher? Besides, the State Department doesn't vet anything about the candidates. They were either incompetent or complicit in the passport break in saga last spring and that has fallen into a black hole.
