During our server migration * Open thread

During our server migration and upgrades, you’ll experience some slow times. And, some posts and comments have gone or will return. This is inevitable with migrations.

One of our regular readers wrote with this tip for all of you who comment:

After people make a comment your server is getting the comment but is taking a long time to respond with the refreshed thread including the new comment.

If people will post a comment, then open another window or tab of the blog, call up the page they just posted the comment to, they will see their new comment much faster.

We’ll post stories soon, but I’m kind of holding off on posting too many new stories because they may get lost in the shuffle. We are keeping copies, off-server, of our posts so that none is lost.

Yes. I was reading posts on “What would you do?”, went to a referenced link and when I came back the whole thread was gone…??? Coming back?

  • typewriterstreaming

Thank you. You guys are great.

  • Steve_in_KC

I don’t know if it’s because of the server migration or what, but it seems like there are very few people here, compared to a couple days ago.

I’m happy that I have had no problems. I use IE7, Window XP, and a standard PC. My cookie permissions are set to receive all.

Somewhere in IE there is a setting I saw recently for whether to look for a new copy of Internet pages or use the cached one. Now I can’t find that setting. If someone knows what I mean and where that setting is, please post it.

gosh, that open a new window thingy really works.

People might not hang around because everything is so slow to load. Before I thought there were so many people in the room that my comments weren’t loading. We know they’ll be back because this is an outstanding place.

Philip J. Berg is Appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court as Obama is “NOT” qualified to be President of the United States

Lawsuit Against Obama Dismissed from Philadelphia Federal Court

For Immediate Release: – 10/25/08 – Contact Info at end.

(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 10/25/08) – Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that he is immediately appealing the dismissal of his case to the United States Supreme Court. The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.

Berg said, “I am totally disappointed by Judge Surrick’s decision and, for all citizens of the United States, I am immediately appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court.

This is a question of who has standing to uphold our Constitution. If I don’t have standing, if you don’t have standing, if your neighbor doesn’t have standing to question the eligibility of an individual to be President of the United States – the Commander-in-Chief, the most powerful person in the world – then who does?

So, anyone can just claim to be eligible for congress or the presidency without having their legal status, age or citizenship questioned.

According to Judge Surrick, we the people have no right to police the eligibility requirements under the U.S. Constitution.

What happened to ‘…Government of the people, by the people, for the people,…’ Abraham Lincoln in his Gettysburg Address 1863.

We must legally prevent Obama, the unqualified candidate, from taking the Office of the Presidency of the United States,” Berg said.

Our website obamacrimes.com now has 71.8 + million hits. We are urging all to spread the word of our website – and forward to your local newspapers and radio and TV stations.

Berg again stressed his position regarding the urgency of this case as, “we” the people, are heading to a “Constitutional Crisis” if this case is not resolved forthwith.

    For Internet Explorer 7:
Go to Tools menu, choose Internet Options
On the General tab, right below Home Page section, find Browsing History section and click Settings.
The first option, on top, is “Check for newer versions of stored pages:” and choose the top one, “Every time I visit the webpage.”

    Hope this helps somebody.

The new DNS entries for noquarter haven’t updated everywhere yet. It usually takes two days. Until then, there will be a lot of people that can’t get here.

  • Zeke

It was a few hours ago that I saw this but haven’t seen it posted here… maybe just the transition, but…
Berg’s lawsuit was tossed out by the judge… the not exactly Hon. R. Barclay Surrick has candy-assed his way to glory by siding with Obama and the DNC.
Since it is more than obvious to even a five-year old that there is enough question to require at least the judge’s review of the evidence on both sides that to dismiss without doing so is pure cowardice or it is deliberate in its intent to deny the facts.
The Robing Room, a website which reviews judges, allows you to rate this clown. The first time i visited, he was at 2.3 out of ten with the higher the number being positive. I returned and it had fallen to 2.1 …
Visit and rate the guy and the whole country can tell him what a jerk he is.

    Birth Certificate Gaining Legs

Obama has refused to show proof that he is eligible for the office he seeks. Judge Barclay Surrick dismissed the lawsuit by Philip Berg due to standing. This is a travesty and Judge Surrick just trampled on the Constitution of the United States. In his ruling Surick said that citizens do not have standing. Surrick goes on to say if Congress wishes us to have the right to question eligibility they will enact it. This is a huge problem.

Judge Surrick just gave away our democracy. In his ruling Surrick says Government has the ability to decide what rights we have. This is not what our Republic is founded on. It is not what our Republic stands for. Judge Surrick just relagated our Great Country to third world status. We are now no better than a dictatorship. We as citizens have no rights other than to vote on election day. We the people means nothing except on election day. This is not what our founders meant by ” a government for the people by the people.”

In his ruling Judge Surrick initiated a Constitutional Crisis. Surrick went further to destroy our Republic than any one in the past. Surrick stripped us of our rights by saying Congress has more power than individuals. Our government just became stronger than the people it pretends to protect. Our government became a ruling class rather than a representation of the people.

Philip Berg needs to appeal this ruling. Taking our rights away goes against everything our constitution stands for. We need judges that read and understand the constitution, not judges that throw the constitution out in favor of the government. This is a shame that a citizen of our Republic can not question the citizenship of another. It should be we the people who decide who is a citizen and who is not. This is the way it has always been in our Republic. That is until today when Judge Surrick says it is up to Congress to give us that right. Judge Surrick you are wrong. It is my constitution not the governments. We gave the government authority and we can take it away. Judge Surrick you should have made a judgment in favor of the people. You made a judgment based on politics and government. Judge Surrick took the easy road out. Surrick avoided the questions by dismissing the case. In the process he just gave up our way of life in favor of a government way of life.

Re: the dismissal of Philip Berg’s lawsuit against Barack Obama by Judge Surrick, I read that Andy Martin’s Writ of Mandamus was dismissed by the Hawaii Supreme Court as well and that their decision to have a decision is by November 7, 2008, will stand. I hear Ansy Martin is raising funds and is soldiering on as well.

I don’t know what is more disturbing, the blind following of Obama by so many sheeple, including the judiciary……or what may be the real reasons behind it.
It feels like Judge Ito and OJ…..I smell fear but what disturbs me is, fear…of what?

    Something is very, VERY wrong.

What ever happened to Greta’s call for all 4 candidates to show their b.cs….that sounded like the height of reasonableness….
We know that 3 people would have no problem, we know that McCain already showed his.
Anyone with a functioning brain and the curiosity of a root vegetable would wonder why “the nominee protesteth too much”
Why not show the effing thing and then we could all just move on…..
    why?
Because I DON’T BELIEVE Obama Dunham Soetoro Davis about one thing, certainly not this.

“Papers, I don’t need no stinking papers” may have been funny in an old Cheech & Chong movie but not in the race for the White House.

Okay I have to share this…My friend Esther, who was in my film and is a fabulous LA Hispanic woman, went to New Mexico to campaign for McCain this weekend. She got there and was lost, finally found the campaign office, and then was told to hurry up and get to the McCain rally. So she got there and saw McCain. She just called me and said he’s the most amazing man, his spirit is so incredible and that he will save our country. We all know that. And I have seen him and feel that way too. I’m wild about him. And Palin. ANYWAY, she was wearing a Hillary T-Shirt and he looked straight at her and gave her the “thumbs up” for the Hillary shirt. I know we all know that he and Hillary are friends. But what a great guy. Ughhh…it will be the biggest disaster in US history if these two amazing people, McCain and Palin, don’t get to the White House. Think of the alternative. We are going together to Nevada next weekend to do precinct walks. But Esther says that OHitler is NOT getting the Hispanic votes he claims. No way. Okay everyone, let’s all get out there and do what we can…we have to WIN.

I just posted this over at Townhall.com
In Re: Judge Dismissing BO Birth Certificate Case
Thought it might be of interest.

    —————————————————

While doing a little of my own “Fact-Checking”, I ran across some interesting linkage between
U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick and one Barack H. Obama.

As we all know, Barack and Michelle worked at Sidley Austin law when they met.

Also working with Michelle at Sidley at the same time was one Bernardine Dohrn, beloved wife of Bill Ayers.

Now it turns out a fellow named Christopher B. Seaman is the former law clerk for U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick.

Christopher B. Seaman also works for a firm named Sidley Austin.

Gosh. It’s a small world after all.

Why is it that Obama is listed in a Socialist publication (The New Party in 1995-1996) and this is not authenticated or disproved by the media; naturally it is because the media/journalism in this country is virtually dead.

Even reporters, it seems, care only about protecting their own bottom line – by toeing the prevailing political line. They did it with the catastrophe called Bush and now with the Bizzaro Bush, Mr. Obama. Gone are the days of “getting a scoop” on a major story – nearly all news outlets and their message are fully controlled.

What stood out about the news-person questioning Biden was the adversarial tone she took – unheard of these days, unless directed at a female candidate of course.

God help us where this country will go as we continue without a competent and free Press.

McCain mocks Obama for drafting Inaugural speech
    Fox News ^ | October 25, 2008 | Mosheh Oinounou

Posted on Saturday, October 25, 2008 8:29:02 PM by americanophile

MESILLA, NM — John McCain’s message to his Democratic rival: Whoa there!

Speaking to supporters in southwestern New Mexico, McCain used today’s New York Times report that aides to Barack Obama are already drafting his inaugural address to accuse the Democrat of “taking the victory lap” ten days too early.

“An awful lot of voters are still undecided but he has decided for them that well, ‘why wait?’ It’s time to move forward with his first inaugural address,” McCain told an enthusiastic crowd in Mesilla’s main plaza. “When I pull this thing off I have a request for my opponent. I want him to save that manuscript of his inaugural address and donate it to the Smithsonian so they can put it right next to the Chicago paper that said ‘Dewey defeats Truman.”

    You go John!!

  • http://noquarterusa.net/ SusanUnPC

If I never heard Phil Berg’s name again, it wouldn’t be a moment too soon. This is such an utter waste of time and concentration when we have REAL issues.

Pore through our archives on Rezko, Ayers, Jeremiah Wright et al.

Re-read Matthew Weaver’s story on how Obama is openly permitting illegal donations — and bang on the front door of every newspaper in this nation until they publish stories, one after another, about how he is using illegally gotten funds from fake names and stolen credit cards.

    Jesus.

  • http://JohnMcCain.com Galt, Master Thrall of Planet Triskelion

Send this to Berg. It is a possible conflict of interest and if it was a conflict of interest the judge should have recused himself. Taking this further, this is more grounds for appeal. No lawyer here, but this seems logical.

  • http://JohnMcCain.com Galt, Master Thrall of Planet Triskelion

I disagree in as much as this lawsuit is another avenue to explore. The most important thing is to get the vote out against The Precious. This takes precedence over everything else, including the donations issue. If we can defeat him, everything becomes moot except maybe for USA Fitzgerald to investigate. I respect your views on this. If/when the SCOTUS takes it up I would think NQ will take the suit up as a topic but for now I hope you continue to let us comment about it.

  • bemused

I disagree. Everyone can understand the need to show ID. Every normal US citizen has shown a birth certificate sometime, and documents like a driver’s license which is based on a BC have to be shown all the time. But Ayers, Wright, etc. have NO MEANING to many many people! They don’t get it, they are used to thugs getting away with it (OJ), they can’t follow the details of fraudulent schemes. If you can’t understand this, step away from NQ, go to your local 7-11 and start a conversation with someone about having a BC. Then try asking what they think of Chicago pay-to-play schemes. It is important to change people’s minds because of Ayers, et al, but they themselves will not do it for most people.

Just wanted to mention that I voted today! Yeah! Finally, I don’t have to think about this anymore. For the second time ever, I voted a Rep for President; and for the first time ever, I voted a straight ticket for Republicans.

And a little funny. So, last week we put up our McCain/Palin sign. My son got home (7 years old) and pulled it up! I had a long talk with him about thuggery and why free speech was important. When his dad got home, he asked ds why he didn’t like McCain & he said “Cuz he’s ugly”…then he piped up and said “I don’t like O’blahblah either cuz he’s ugly”. First, I tried not to laugh…I didn’t realize how closely he had been listening to dh & me talk over the last few months…cuz he actually said “oblahblah…not obama…oblahblah”. So I asked him who was Oblahblah & he said “You know mom, OBBBBBAAAAMA” very exasperated. So, I asked, if you don’t like McCain or Obama, then who do you want to be our president?

    Remember this ??

WOODRUFF: Senator Obama, one of the, of course, enormous consequences of 9/11 were the wars in Afghanistan and then Iraq. In the wake of those wars, today, the United States military is facing enormous challenges. Junior officers are leaving the Army in record numbers. The recent graduates of West Point leaving the Army.

What would you do as president to make serving and staying in the military more attractive to young men and women?

OBAMA: Well, first of all, as commander-in-chief, my job is to keep America safe. And that means insuring that we’ve got the best military on Earth. And that means having the best persons in uniform on Earth. We have that right now, but as a consequence of these wars, they have been strained incredibly. I think it’s important for us to increase the size of our Army and our Marines so we can reduce the pace of tours that our young men and women are on…

But it’s also important that a president speaks to military service as an obligation not just of some, but of many. You know, I traveled, obviously, a lot over the last 19 months. And if you go to small towns, throughout the Midwest or the Southwest or the South, every town has tons of young people who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s not always the case in other parts of the country, in more urban centers. And I think it’s important for the president to say, this is an important obligation. If we are going into war, then all of us go, not just some…

And by the way, we will deploy you in some difficult areas, but that’s part of what it means to be an American and to serve and to sacrifice…

And so, I think a president who is consistently asking for young people to reach for something higher, something bigger than themselves, I think, will get enormous response.

This may have been a head fake. I believe the guy in Hawaii reporting Frank Davis as the father. Most likely the birth certificate only has his mother’s name with no father listed.

This would be equally damaging because it still shows he has fabricated his life all along. He has used Africans and Muslim cultures to promote himself which only proves his personality problems.

Many of his followers will look back and say if he’s gotten away with it this long that he is special and forgive and forget. However, this only shows the magnitude of the infiltration from within our political and judicial system.

The American people have only to look at the depravity that is the city of Chicago to know that in no way should our society be further soiled by the slime of Ayers and Obama.

We may not have the monies, but we certainly have the numbers. We should keep that in mind in case the unthinkable happens and the Obama nightmare begins.

Its either the America we knew or no America at all.

Barack Obama has only remained a viable candidate for POTUS despite his failure to establish eligibility under the U.S. Constitution due to the ignorance of the voters as to how their government works. And I would bet this is what he was counting on.

Instead of petitioning their elected officials for redress, for months they clung to the hope that Mr. Berg’s lawsuit declaring BO ineligible had a chance. But I advised in the beginning of August, the only practical way to contest a candidate’s eligibility for POTUS is to challenge his ability to access the ballot, in each state, through the state official obligated by law to determine the candidate’s eligibility. In advance of the Party nominating conventions, I urged citizens to examine the laws in their state, the laws written by the officials they elected into office, the laws signed by the governor they voted for; to determine the deadline for filing a challenge to the ballot.

So far, the only state I have identified whose deadline for challenge has not expired is GA. Specifically, the deadline for individual voter challenge through the S of S has passed but, the deadline for the S of S to determine eligibility, sua sponte, that is, on her own, is the day of the election.

Check your state. See if the deadline for ballot challenge has passed. And remember, these are your laws. The legislators in your state work for you. Look up the name of your state senator or representative. Call him or her on Monday. Ask that person how to contest the names on the ballot. AND DON’T LET THEM FOB YOU OFF BY INSISTING, VETTING THE CANDIDATE IS UP TO THE PARTY! THE PARTIES ARE PRIVATE CLUBS WHOSE MISSION IS TO CHOOSE THE NAME OF THE CANDIDATE THEY WANT TO REPRESENT THE PARTY ON THE GENERAL ELECTION BALLOT. THE ELECTION PROCESS, INCLUDING THE BALLOT, BELONGS TO THE STATE. This means you.

(Please excuse my testiness. I had a nightmare that I traveled to OH to campaign for JMc. I got separated from the group, and some BO supporters offered to drive me to meet up with them. I sat in the back of the car before realizing the doors were tied shut. The car passed the turnoff and I began yelling at the 3 people in front to let me out. They kept driving. We passed a police officer on a motorcycle. I couldn’t get his attention. Suddenly, I found the button to the automatic windows and pressed, sticking my head out as the window lowered, screaming at the top of my lungs, “HELP ME! HELP ME!” Terrified, my son rushed to my side to wake me up. ‘Mommy, it’s okay.’

Zeke, this is the 2nd time you have chastised me for my comment to an obot. The first time, I was defending other NQers, this time myself. The person refers to me as an “obanot” and says that I am lying.

I see no inference from her comment that the judge did not have the stones to be critical…she merely says he wasn’t, I’m an obanot & a liar.

The judges ruling was in fact very critical of Berg and his filings & this has now been mentioned on several other blogs. Read it yourself, its posted on countusout and obamacrimes. The troll Mary, without a shred of proof or indication that she knew what she was talking about, said my comment was wrong and called me a liar.

This may be tinfoil country. Berg has no chance of winning this case even if it is 100% true. The SCOTUS will throw this out too.Imagine the backlash if Berg was to win. The peoples faith in the government which is already at an all time low would be nill. Obama has raised 650 million dollars, Hillary raised 250(?) million dollars, any money that was raised by any candidate would then be suspect. Obama donors because he was a fraud, Clinton donors because they were cheated, even McCain donors would have a claim. How many gave to McCain after their dem candidate of choice was robbed? Who would pay this? Would the courts in the US have time to try any cases other than these? This could bankrupt and cripple the government. Isn’t gonna happen.Sorry folks if you want McCain, you are gonna have to vote him in.On Nov 4th, I will walk into a viper pit (polling place in Cook County, IL) and vote a straight R ticket. In 24 years of voting this will be my first R vote. I hope you do the same.

What do you all think about switching from telling pollsters we’re for Obama to saying we’re for McCain. I can’t think of a better time than now for the polls to show a 4-5% swing in McCain’s favor. This would destroy the Obama narrative just in time for the election. It would settle the Eeyore’s nerves and you know that Obama would crack under the pressure.

  • Soldier of Christ

Realclear is crazy- no wonder the polls are over the top. How the hell can anyone say that Obama is 8 points up with 500 to 800 voter survey. I am sick of these pollster and they all should be not allowed to lie and deceive our nation. I can understand if Obama might be one point up or so- but 8? Give me a break- I check the internals and they have Mccain leading in some of the most important states- even Michigan is showing 18 for Obama- 18? Give me a break! Half of them are PUMAs and I am sure they are not going to vote for this sucker. Realclear, please get a 9-5 job. Also, I want for all of you to look at your past. Men, how many women can you say you have had relationships with from 18-34 years old? Two- three? More? If you were running for President, do you think that some of these women would come out and tell their friends, “hey, I did it with that guy!” Wouldn’t that be a reaction? Why, then, do we have the years of 18-34 lost in Obama’s life? Why hasn’t one woman shown up in his life? Didn’t he have one night stands? Didn’t he stay in a relationship for a year or so? This does not make any sense. Palin’s life was dugged up showing her playing a flute when she was a teenager and yet, nothing, is found on Obama. Who knows maybe he was working with Ben Laden finding a plan to destroy America in the inside.

I think it is more about the money. It is unimaginable. People could sue left and right. You could sue for emotional damages. E.G. ” I was called a racist for not supporting Obama”, “now I find out he isn’t qualified to run.” “I am scarred for life”. “My co-workers accused me of racism, my job has been impacted”. A decision in Bergs favor could start a meltdown in society. I know it’s a little far fetched but very possible.

  • Papoose

    Now here’s a story that doesn’t need a birth certificate to prove…

Since when does one country’s presidential candidate campaign for another country’s presidential candidate?

    On company time, nevertheless.

  • C.S.

I believe “any port in a storm” and if this can call attention to Soertoro/Obama’s deception, then by all means adjudicate!

That said, Article 1 of the Bill of Rights states emphatically

…the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

That can be done through our Justice system, the State, Federal and the Supreme Courts. Berg, or any other citizen, has the Right to file a grievance against the man who is asking for our vote or to petition the Government to prove a candidate is who he says he is, and if our filing a grievance is not covered under our Federal Court system, then our Constitution is meaningless.

So, if We the People have no Constitutional standing that allows us to challenge a candidate, then neither political party has the right to even nominate a candidate because they have no Constitutional standing that gives them the right to do so.

Any history book will tell you that there were no political parties and that the parties that were formed were private ideologies and not a part of the Constitution. So there’s another court case there if anyone wants to push it.

I had an interesting conversation with my 6th grader today. She said at school she has to act like she likes Obama. They are doing some mock debates in Soc Studies so at first I thought that was what she was talking about. But she said no, she meant around the other kids. She said there are a bunch of them that act like they like Obama because the ones that do like him get in your face and shout if you say you don’t. Hmmm. If the kids can’t even be honest, wonder what the adults are doing in the polls.

  • debbie

Realclear is using multiple, independently fielded polls by different polling organizations and the average is 8 points. Each of the polls uses hundreds to thousands of polls, so the 8 point average is based on many more people.

strange? strange are people like you that want to seize people’s hard earned money and then give that money to other people(in the form of a goverment check) all in the name of fairness. taxes paid for public security or used to fund services for disabled people are one thing but to give checks up to $7,000 to able bodied people all in the name of fairness is not what this country was founded on. once you start to spread the wealth watch the productivity in america drop like a rock. people will not have incentive to work any harder. this has been proven over and over in socialist countries. i have canadian friends who have come here to flee this type of thinking and now they are amazed by fools like you.

I read an interview in the Hartford Courant today with Leibermann and he does not say anything like that. He does say that he hopes that McCain is elected to serve and serves out his full term. I had to vote absentee. The Southwest side of Michigan and Grand Rapids is higher to Republicans. For example, on my absentee ballot for the local positions, when there was one local candidate it was always a Republican. So I tend to see more McCain signs where I’m at. The rest of Michigan I’m not so sure. I would expect that our Upper Pennisula folks would identify with Palin (there’s even moose up there). :) Lansing and Detroit might have more Obama signs would be my guess.

But I also work in and travel through Ohio and have seen more McCain Palin signs than Obama in the smaller towns and countryside. Also when eating dinner near Findlay couple of tables were discussing a Palin rally and how much they (young woman voters) love her. They also talked about crazy Obots doing protests and were ridiculing their judgement. It was a good dinner to hear that type of open discussion around me.

i have good info from a friend that the daily cooks sent out an email to the obots telling them to blog everywhere that the race is lost for mccain. the goal is to discourage mccain supporters from going to the polls due to a feeling of i quote “a lost cause”. this is also a tactic in the book (rules for radicals). listen to mark levin, he talks about this book all the time to warn people about the tactics of community organizers. obama lives by this book. i have read parts of the book and they sound like obama campaign tactics.

When you have a chance go to the Logo Channel and search for “The Big Gay Sketch Show”. HORSERACE

    Death Threats Sent to Pollster

After releasing this morning’s numbers showing McCain ahead in Ohio and Florida, the Strategic Vision polling company received several death threats through the contact e-mail on the company’s web site.

David Johnson, the CEO of Strategic Vision, shared the messages with National Review Online.

    One of the messages stated:

My goodness, your polls stinks. There are 3 polls that have Obama by double digits and only yours has Obama down. WOW!. How come your poll is the only one giving Palin high favor ratings? I think you nee dto be careful tonight when you get in your car and might want to check underneath your car. SCRAP YOUR IDIOTIC POLLS OR ELSE!

    Another stated:

A poll that gave Sarah Palin and Barack Obama the same favorability rating is wrong off the bat. Be careful going outside tonight because you might not see tomorrow.

    A third message stated:

Why would your presidential election poll results be so drastically different from every other reputable poll taken over the same time period? Are they that dumb or are you guys that smart? Smart guys wind up dead.

The company has contacted the FBI and appropriate authorities, Johnson said. There was, thankfully, nothing in the messages that indicated that the sender had actually sought out the location of the company or its employees. Johnson noted that while the messages came from different addresses, they all came within a short period of time, and that it was possible they were from the same person.

Johnson said he’s not fearful, but taking appropriate measures.

“It’s probably just a bunch of nut cases, but this is first time we’ve ever experienced something like this,” Johnson said. “It’s highly, highly unusual. We get messages in the vein of ‘your numbers are wrong, the other guy’s numbers are right’ all the time. But this has never happened before.”

    Andrew,
Lets just talk honestly…There are always winners and losers. The question is what you are going to do for this country after this election regardless of who wins.
I have decided for myself that this is only the beginning. I have found my voice and it is now a conservative one that advocates the protection of Liberty and freedom
As an industrialist I have decided to defend business against the coming onslaught of regulations and taxes which will kill jobs.
I see opportunity for myself by championing the values that we have all discussed here at No Quarter.
I know that you are young and ready to go. Standing up for what you believe in agreement or in opposition will propel you to success.

  • Zeke

    Everybody’s frikken cranky today…
Fuck Obama and his inauguration speech. He can thank all the little people he crushed on his way up after the fat lady rolls off him.
As for N.C. I think it’ll come down to the preachers…
and I just feel strongly that the state of Billy Graham will go with the guy closest to those values.
Remember any polling in N.C. is going to lean heavily toward the Campuses (I know, but who’d buy Campii?) and tons of those students phoned don’t even vote in North Carolina.
Don’t give up hope, start looking at why something you know SHOULD be happening isn’t and see if the info isn’t flawed.
It is so easy to forget that the Pollsters are as in the tank as the MSM. We know they jerk the demographics and over-sample every group they can who favors Obama and they still can’t bury McCain.
Just hold on tight and make sure you vote!
The Fat Lady hasn’t sung, but when she does, it’ll be the National Anthem at John McCain’s inauguration.

  • MochaLatteBreve

Andrew, sometimes I post meaningful information on blogs like ABC News or Gretawire to inform others who rely only on mainstream media for news. I never attack anyone or go negative on those sites but just try to inform. You’d be surprised how many people don’t know about the blogs we’re reading and have no clue of what’s really happening.

It makes me feel like I’m helping to get the truth out which should help McCain win. Sometimes at ABC News you can post without logging in (typically when an article first comes out). And giving it a positive outlook and spin drives the Obots crazy. And when they go crazy they look bad to the other normal people reading the comments.

(If you decide to make comments make sure you exclude word like blog and youtube or else you’ll get stopped in their filter.)

No–this lawsuit is critical because it has come to debate the legitimate RIGHT of a voter–a citizen to question the qualifications of a candidate–in fact it challenges the standing of a citizen to uphold the constitution and protect and inforce its laws.
Our new naturalized citzens take an oath upon citizenship–to protect the constitution from threat–even bear arms against the threat if need be–we citizens–WE THE PEOPLE have an obligation to make sure that our constitution is protected from this, potentially the greatest threat to ever oppose it.
Obama et al. have asserted that “a voter has no standing to challenge the qualifications of a candidate for President of the United States” and that “there is no federal cause of action for enforcement of Article II of the Constitution”
Regardless of his status as a citizen or not (which I DO consider rather relevant since it is a HUGE attempt to defraud Americans acros the Nation if in fact he is not) these two statements submitted by his lawyer have the potential to damage all law cases following. We may never be able to challenge the qualifications of any candidate–regardless of his criminal background, intentions, affiliations, citizenship, loyalties–we will have no right to this information–no right to make sure we are electing a just man who is as he represents himself to be.
And the second statement–we may have no ability to defend the amendments of the constitution.
This court case stands to make legal precidence and impact cases in the future–undermining the fabric of our most fundemental laws.
    I consider that pretty important.
    And so should every American.
These statements will latter be used to defend him in court against the other allegations you bring up-to defend his wrong doings and his mistruths and his lies. We stand to loose our right to question him
SO much for government Of the people, By the people, and For the people.
WE the PEOPLE MUST stand for our fundemental right to defend our Constitutions and the Rights and Freedoms it grants.

obanots up to their lies again!

    Mary’s words. Again note: “lies”

The judges words are in black & white. If “Mary” or anyone else here wants to view the phrase “frivolous and not worthy of discussion” as not being critical, feel free. I’m free to feel sorry for Berg, who obviously put a lot of time and effort in his own stab at getting Barky to tell the truth. I actually did not think he would prevail.

Please bear in mind Zeke, that my original comment was in support of your comment asking everyone to rate the judge. Then the troll attacked me & I shot back. I am perplexed by your comments to me, but do not wish to have a disagreement with you. You sound like a nice guy & I hope you’re having a good weekend.

  • galandrien

You are right–we must challenge this in every state. Only after every state legislature has upheld that a voter does not have the right can we hope to wake the American masses who seem to be willing to let all of their freedoms go without a fight.

According to the law a voter does not have the right to challenge because they suffer no “injury” by being decieved. or if there is injury it is hypothetical and abstract and therefore does not stand in a court of law.
Interesting how our legal system is defending its own destruction. Lawyers are experts at finding loopholes of logic and semantics.

However–Illinois citizens DO have a legitimate “injury” to challenge–FRAUD. If Obama is in fact not an American, natural born citizen, then he committed fraud against them by filling paperwork for the US Senate and state Senate that declared that he is a natural born citizen.
Encourage our Illinois resident to pursue this and get justice! A legal loophole is denying other citizens this ability!

This constitutional paradox we are entered threatens our nation’s most fundemental laws and ideas, fundemental and inalienable rights that united our nation stand on the brink of unraveling.

If we are prevented by legal semantics and mountains of motions to dismiss there is still ONE way citizens can challenge a candidate. They can VOTE AGINST HIM. Turn out to the polls and let OBAMA know how you feel about his belief you don’t need to know if he is qualified, that he doesn’t have to prove it to YOU the people he wants to LEAD. That HE does not have to obey the constitution of the United States.
Let HIM know clearly on NOV 4th that you disagree!

    VOTE COUNTRY FIRST!

  • galandrien

a ruling against Berg stands to do just as much damage because the statements his lawyer used to justify the motion to dimiss can be used as legal precidence in the future to justify other court decisions. Statements like “a voter does not have standing the challenge the qualifications of candidates for President of the United States” or “there is no federal cause for action for enforcement of Article II of the Constitution” THESE statments will be used to make further court ruling in the future. If a citizen cannot question a candidate’s compliance with the constitution–cannot uphold the constitution as we are all spposed to do (and naturalized citizens are SWORN to do) then who can? Political parties? They have interests in opposition to the greater masses of the people frequently, certianly we do not leave this in their privilaged hands. And IF the board of elections or elections comission should overlook a violation who has the right to point it out? We will be left with no one to defend our fundemental laws.

The chief justice of the SCOTUS will be in violation of the constitution by swearing in an unqualified president–so will he have to be removed? Will all who held him up and pushed him forward be held accountable for derauding the nation? Can we even levy chares of that magnitude?

This case is critical–one one side we open the door to frivilous and uncontrolled liability and law suit, on the other we jeopardize the defense of the constitution and a citzens right to a fair election.

We must vote in McCain so we have a hope of sorting this out–it will be far less detrimental for a ruling to come against a senator than POTUS (regardless of the result of the ruling)–POTUS, who has certain immunities from prosecution and the ability to appoint Supreme court jutices to rule in his favor should be vetted BEFORE being permitted to enter into office.

Encourage Alternative Certification Methods That Open The Door For Highly Motivated Teachers To Enter The Field. John McCain will devote five percent of Title II funding to states to recruit teachers who graduate in the top 25 percent of their class or who participate in an alternative teacher recruitment program such as Teach for America, the New York City Teaching Fellowship Program, the New Teacher Project, or excellent university initiatives.

Hw can a judge make such statements never having seen evidence–since Obama et al. never surrender it. How can you say it frivilous? Why is this man still on the bench? This is clear bias and in no way made on a legal basis. There is a legal basis for dimissial–its a legal loophole which personally I think sucks but BY GOD as an agent of the court you use the LAW to rule on NOT your own peronal opinions of what may or may not be “worthy of discussion” These quotes alone should be enough to have his ruling reviewed at the VERY least.

also was it mentioned here that the judge’s former clerk worked at the same law firm as Barrack Obama, Michelle Obama, and the wife of Willaim Ayers? I think that too is worth having the judge’s ruling reviewed–especially after having seen the rather scathing response he gave in his ruling.
why didn’t this judge recuse himself? and why are citzens across the country not screaming MAD about this OUTRAGE????

You are right–and Obama is using a legal loophole to get away with ths–a loophole that Surrick failed to close-in fact he tore it open wider.

However he made a point we can take and use to put an end to this–He said if Congress wants to it can make it so–SO lets LOBBY congress.

WRITE your congressmen and women, fill their inboxes until they crash DEMANDING that this legal oversight be corrected.
This right is ours fundementally. But if Obama’s lawyer wants to play legal games then FINE. MANY of those congressmen are coming up for re-election. Which means WE the people have leverage to get this done. If SCOTUS passes this up it is the only way to stave off the brewing constitutional crisis–Surrick is right, Congress can solve this constitutional paradox by plugging the hole in our legal system.

WE the people, who VOTE them into their seats need to DEMAND they fix this problem.

    Okay terrifying experience…

I went to a local market by my house. Very quaint, everyone goes there. Great people own it. Well, tonight when I went there, there was a group of gang guys. Seven young men with GANG TATS and scary looking. They loaded up all this booze on the counter and the found that between them they didn’t have enough money to pay for it. One of them said “well, wait for Obama.” They all chimed in “yeah, Obama, we’ll take this shit under Obama.” etc. I was appalled. They thought they would have more money to buy ALCOHOL if Obama wins. So I said “So y’all voting for Obama? Well I don’t think you will like the life you get if he wins.” Suddenly I got ATTACKED – called “typical white woman (sound familiar” and they got really threatening towards me. The owner of the store had to walk me to my car. It was awful.

  • galandrien

Yeah certifications and examinations which are designed so that you need to have had the opportunity to sit in a liberal arts classroom for a few years and spend a few dozen Gs.
Our troops and volunteers in Troops to teachers and Teach for America bring real world experience, something (speaking from an academic’s and recent grad’s perspective) is def lacking in our education system.
we have a lot of teachers who are teachers becasue they can do little else. This puts greater strain on the fantastic teachers who ARE out there doing their best and enriching our nation. These programs infuse new life and thought and ideas into our education system. Education benefits from new thought and experience rather than academic stagnation.
And this is from a family of school teachers–elementary, highschool, and collegiate.

  • galandrien

Well women I do not know about but a gentleman came out saying he had relations with Obama and was one of his drug buddies.
Interestingly enough after giving a press statement in DC he was arrested on a warrant for petty theft signed by Beu BIDEN.

And in Dec three out of the cloet members of Obama’s church were founder murdered in classic assasination style.

the coincidences that pile up around this man are amazing.

  • drkate

I think the Berg suit, however, lays the ground work for the challenges that can be made to Obama, if he wins, between November 5 and the Dec 15, when the electors vote, and up unitl Jan 20th.
Note the judge did not diss the issues, Berg ‘did not have standing’, but the case was not ‘ripe’ until after there is an election and if he wins.

The judge may also have some procedural problems which guarantee that the supremes will put it right back in his court and he will ahve to decide it. One is abuse of judicial discretion (waiting so long for a ‘simple’ decision and failing to rule on the motion for summary judgment before dismissing the case). The second is his possible skirting of his responsibility. So the case is probably going to be thrown back to the PA judge.

In the meantime, Barky gets his constitutional crisis which is what he has wanted all along. Push this as far as he can and make it possible for a naturalized citizen to become potus. Biden and Powell are predicting two different crises.

  • galandrien

    yeah…even Biden admitted to that!

    these wackjobs never study history.

the right, when the chips are down fall back on the good old moniker “god helps those that help themselves”
The right will show up to the polls no matter how “lost” the cause may be.

let the Obamabots think they are winning–fewer of them will show up to the polls thus making our jobs easier.
But don’t worry about the “demoralized” right staying home. The more the chips are down the more will show up at the polls to cast their votes for McCain.

  • Diana

An interesting article on the polls:

As illustrations, let’s look at three national polls, taken from the Real Clear Politics website: the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll from October 4-5; the Reuters/C-Span/Zogby poll from October 7; and the Rasmussen poll from October 8.

According to the NBC/WSJ poll, Obama is leading McCain among registered voters nationwide by a margin of 49% to 43% (these figures combine those who said they supported and were leaning towards the respective candidates). So Obama is winning, right? Not so fast. The reported margin of error for the poll is +/- 3.8 points. The “margin of error” is simply the amount of potential error in a poll’s results. This means that the results of the poll actually could be McCain 46.8% and Obama 45.2%. Very close, but with McCain ahead. The poll also includes 8% of respondents who said they were undecided. These undecided voters might decide to vote for McCain. Certainly there is no reason to assume they will vote for Obama. In short, this poll does not show that Obama is winning. At most it shows that Obama might be winning. On the other hand, it also shows that McCain might be winning.

Similarly, the Reuters/C-Span/Zogby poll shows Obama leading McCain among likely voters nationwide by a margin on 47.7% to 45.3%, with 7% undecided. The margin of error for this poll is +/- 2.8 points. Based on the data from this poll, therefore, McCain could be leading Obama by a margin of 48.1% to 44.9%. If the undecided voters decide to support McCain, the eventual margin of victory could be even larger. Again, this poll does not necessarily show that Obama is winning. Indeed, the pollsters correctly noted that “[t]he race for President of the United States remains far too close to call.”

Lastly, the Rasmussen poll shows that Obama is leading McCain among likely voters nationwide by a margin of 51% to 45%, with 4% undecided. The margin of error for this poll is +/- 2 points. A-ha! Obama definitely is winning according to this poll (that is, assuming the undecided voters do not “break” for McCain). But there is something curious about this poll, which relates to the second issue I raised above about polls. This poll “weighted” its responses to reflect a predicted voting population of 39.3% Democrats, 33.3% Republicans, and 27.4% unaffiliated. However, in the last presidential election, just four years ago, the party affiliation of actual voters (according to the CNN exit poll) was 37% Democrat and 37% Republican. Perhaps Democrats are going to “out vote” Republicans by 6 points this year, but I think this is a very dubious assumption. In any event, there is no reason to accept the results of the Rasmussen poll over those of the other two polls (or over the results of many other polls I could have examined).

It was a sunny pleasant day here in the Northwest. Is this the type of non-controversial statement that can safely pass through the NQ censor? I’ve never used profanity, and from my perspective, I’ve always been reasoned, insightful, and pro Puma, anti Obama, well informed, and engaging with my postings. I’m terribly slow at typing, so my input represents a great deal of time and personal commitment to the cause. When I submit something that I’ve given that level of commitment to it is distressing when it is blasted into oblivion, and it makes me wonder how many other erstwhile contributers are treated the same.

That is terrible. I’m glad you got out of it without getting hurt. Thanks to Obummer (and his enablers), things are going to be nasty no matter what. Win or lose, he’s set up an explosive atmosphere that will ignite in either case.

  • Snickers

Thank you, Galt. I am really getting fed up with Andrew and his whining and playing Chicken Little.

I couldn’t view the site until now, I’m so glad you guys are still here–I was having a panic attack. LOL

You guys are the best–where the MSM failed in 2008, your blogs and writers have done the job of investigating and reporting the facts. Thank you all so very much for being miles ahead of any other news source.

  • jbjd

    Thank you. I cross-posted immediately.

No gun — but I ran out of RUM!

and the state booze stores are close on Sunday.

Damn — I thought the blue laws had been repealed.

NQ — can’t believe the rest of the “news” until I see what the wise and aware folks on NQ are saying.

Great video of a vet giving his own Purple Heart to John McCain.

Also, on a patriotic note, I went to the Hollywood GOP secret society lunch the other day. 40 great America lovers in the room. Four of whom were AA by the way, which means what I have always said…that 98% of AAs voting for Obama is total BS. Anyway, one of the women in the room was a singer and she decided to break into singing the Star Spangled Banner – it was amazing that in a room of 40 Hollywood people, one by one each and every person stood up and put their hand over hearts. Every single person in the room. It was one of those moments you realize it’s okay to love your country, no matter how much the liberals and Obama DETEST America.

It’s comforting to know the type of people that I’ll meet in re-education camp.

  • Northwest rain

Obama is creating expectations in a depraved group of individuals that he will never meet and has no intention of meeting.

Creeps like those punks for O-zero are going to look for someone to blame when nothing changes for them.

  • Deep Truths

Thriving on what? Using 1950 cars? You are a pathetic Obot. Not worthy of discussion. Do yourself a favor and read all about the paradise that fifty years of glorious Fidel led communism has brought to the isle of Cuba.

Then come back and tell us the patriotic news.

  • Deep Truths

Very interesting. Just the other day Zogby was criticizing another poll that showed the SAME results. Zogby called it ‘preposterous’. Ha!

    Kewl!

  • Deep Truths

And there was no breaking in entry, so these poor people knew their attacker.

  • Deep Truths

This your frigging problem, Andrew. Your fucking defeatist attitude. You ARE an Obot deep down, if not you are WUS with no apparent backbone or spine!

  • lisa in va

I’ll second that “damn straight”! lmao!

  • lisa in va

Hatred of gay people is a sure sign of a closet case

That’s been my experience; I’ve seen it first hand.

  • lisa in va

Do they censor here? I’ve used a few choice words and have never been censored. Maybe its a problem with your internet connection taking too long & the post just gets lost?

I’m sorry you are having problems.

Why is everyone so afraid of this guy? When he is treated as a normal candidate by a balanced press rather than a secular messiah, Obama inevitably displays a glass jaw and thin-skinned insularity that may be rationalized away but is no longer taking the opposition by storm.

Can you imagine how he’ll flounder, blow up and storm off in disgust, exposing the seriously flawed and inexperienced candidate that he is, at the first real taste of his own confrontational tactics ?

Democrats may be voting based on party affiliation but the vast majority of Americans are not either in love or wowed over with this guy. There will be no ‘re-education’ camps ! Stand up to this paper tiger !

  • AnninCA

I agree. There are tons of very real issues to pound about. Some of these stories seem to think that it’s the person being sued who must “prove” innocence. That’s not how it works! Either there is clear evidence by the one filing the lawsuit or not.

We STILL have a semblance of innocent until proven guilty in this country. Not much….:)

  • AnninCA

Sending people checks when they pay no taxes hasn’t been around for that long. And it’s really called welfare!

Come on….his plan goes much further than progressive taxation.

  • AnninCA

Those exams are mickey mouse, guys. A high school senior could pass them.

  • AnninCA

Kal…it’s the economy. That’s the rub. It’s exactly what Bill C. said: Change in the guard time for a lot of people.

Rove has a good article out on RCP today, saying how Obama used his tactics this year. That made me feel better about my own analysis. I kept reading from obamanuts that McCain and Hillary were Rovian. I thought: Opposite. It’s Obama who is using those tactics.

Today, Rove agrees with me, anyway. It’s Obama tactics.

    He ran a Rovian campaign.

  • AnninCA

That’s great news! I’m not seeing it discussed on RCP, however.

Wonder why. Was this an outlier poll?

  • AnninCA

You said that to a bunch of gang-bangers?

    Lucky you’re here posting!

  • Five Thirty

FYI: I wasn’t able to access this site by going to the usual noquarterusa.net. I was only able to bring it up by first looking it up on google and then using the noquarterusa.net/blog link.

  • Andy

Excellent well-thought out post Larry. Thank you.

  • oowawa

Galandrien, thank you for laying out the dilemma facing SCOTUS in such a concise and clear manner.

  • Jason

I still can’t access this site from the usual URL. I have to come here via Anonymouse. Is anyone else having the same problems? I thought it was a DNS propagation issue at first but it seems like it’s been too long now for that.
