Seems fair to me!

Hey bots, who work for people like me, welcome to your future.

I am posting this without comment. You may, of course, add yours.

Dear Fellow Business Owners:

As a Business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama will be our next President and that my Taxes and Fees will go up in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Customer will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about 8%. I will also have to lay off 6 of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and didn’t know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did.

I strolled through the parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on my employees’ cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can’t think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know. I am sending this letter to all Business owners that I know.

Sincerely
****
**** Corp.

  • http://www.legalsatyricon.com Marc J. Randazza

That sounds just fine to me. That will be brilliant. The 8 people in your company with any intelligence will be laid off, and I’ll have the opportunity to hire them.

You, on the other hand, will be stuck with 22 retards.

How’s this? Can we implement your program nationally? Lets draft all the McCain supporters and send them to Iraq, but every soldier who votes Obama can be “laid off” from the Military — or at least redeployed from that stinking hell hole?

Or do you Neocons have “other priorities”?

  • TorchWood

    First?

Seems logical to me. I’d do the same thing.

OBAMA SHOCK VIDEO: Obama calls $1 Trillion tax hike a “small adjustment” by re-defining $97K family income as “upper class”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-SavgJlBLA

The key minute: Watch from 1:15 to 2:15 for Obama’s remarkable claim that $97K family income is “upper class”

I found a video clip in which Obama totally redefines what middle/upper class income is and who should pay more taxes. He is quoted on video. I think this is newsworthy, given the current focus on Obama’s plan to tax a larger number of families. The video shows Obama directly stating this. It is far less difficult to interpret than, say, the Chicago NPR audio-only about redistributive change. This is a video that’s ready-made for a campaign spot and for video news releases. All people will understand it.

In this video, Obama defined $97,000 family income as “upper class” and subject to $1 Trillion in tax increases in debate within the last year and in policy proposals. He also makes a similar claim in writing in an Op-Ed (see below).

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-SavgJlBLA

Of course there are other videos of this same debate, Nov 2007, Las Vegas from which you can clip these quotes, but this one just puts in the context of Obama/Biden redefining Middle Class income from $250K to $200K to $150K to $97K is “upper class.” and the top group—and subject to big tax hikes.

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=3638710&page=1

I wonder how many families with 2 or 3 kids in middle class suburbs of our major cities would consider their $97 K income to be “upper class.” If any of those kids plan to go to college, the families will hardly be living like the upper class on $97K.

    Obama’s Op-Ed

    http://www.qctimes.com/articles/2007/09/21/opinion/opinion/doc46f35dac127eb409456532.txt

“… raise the cap on the amount of income subject to the Social Security tax. If we kept the payroll tax rate exactly the same but applied it to all earnings and not just the first $97,500, we could virtually eliminate the entire Social Security shortfall.” – Op-Ed by Barack Obama, Quad City Times, Sep., 2007

  • AnninCA

I think there’s reason for staying alert Tuesday. The polls in the close states are very, very close. Obama is only up by .2 in MO. So there’s lots of question marks.

Looks like he has sewn up the SW. Too bad. I will always believe that the right-wing of the Republican party who were so hysterical over McCain’s very smart attempt to resolve the immigration problem hurt him badly in the election.

Until that brouhaha, Latinos would have supported McCain in a heartbeat out West.

Oh well…..gotta take it as it comes.

Palin has done a masterful job in the Appalacian area. She’s not only rallied the base, she’s drawn in many undecideds. I think it’s hilarious that Joe the Plumber turned out to be the star.

You just can’t make this stuff up, eh?

  • beebop

Then they don’t mind having their incomes sucked away from them. As for me, I would rather gift it where I see fit.

When I see an “0″ bumper sticker, I give the car wide berth … either they are stupid, violent or uninsured and I’m not really interested in finding out which! :)

  • Soldier of Christ

    Dear Mr Obama;

From a good source we find that once again you are deceiving our great country by using your “supporters”‘s money to have them come by using planes, buses, and rentals to get to Nevada and other states for your rallies. Out of the thousands of people in the rallies that you have, thousands are from other states. The same money that you dare collect for ads are being used to boost up your statue in front of the media and the american people. Shame on you. Yes, all politicans do this but your millions of dollars could be used to run a clean campaign. The good source left your campaign stated that within that crowd of 40,000 that came to yelled and screamed for your sorry ass were only a few thousands that belong to the State.

Mr. Obama, the polls today are finally showing you’re one percentage down and Mccain is beating you. Why? Because Mr. Mccain did not buy the media, he did not use fraud to win this election, he did not sit in a pulpit for 20 years and listen to hate, he didn’t pal around with a domestic terrorist, he didn’t have his college paid by the Persian King of Saudi, he didn’t sit on someone’s lap named Frank Davis, vile child molester, listening to radical Socialism values, he didn’t hang around and toast at dinners to a PLO terrorist appeaser, he didn’t have a crook help him buy a corrupted land. Yes, the list can go on and on, but, we true American got you on our radar, Mr. Obama.

We know this man who has his shoulders and hands broken for us in a war, we know this man has a wife who spend most of her youth helping the “same african children and others” that you pretend to want to help and have never done in your entire life. We know this soldier man will be a strong leader, who is willing to drill and not continue giving your “nice appeasing arab friends” anymore of our money.

So, if by chance you do win, Mr. Obama. This wonderful blog and many others and with the help of the Newspapers that you “didn’t buy off” and the networks that refused to do your biddings, will expose you. I will see you resigning as President soon.

May G-d be with us and with our spirit on November 4, 2008.

Joe the Plumber would have been one or two news cycles if the 0bama campaign hadn’t gone after him. That is exactly what four years of his reign would be. The simple, every day man and woman can relate to Joe and what happened to him. They don’t like bullies. 0bama is a classic bully.

  • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

Thank you Soldier of Christ…I don’t think he’s going to win, OHitler. But if he does, then we have to keep doing what we are doing to expose his criminal activity, deceit, lies, etc. until the MSM can no longer pimp and lie for him and he is shown to the world for what he is. He will NEVER be my President. Never.

ZOGBY: MCCAIN MOVES INTO LEAD 48-47 IN ONE DAY POLLING

ZOGBY SATURDAY: Republican John McCain has pulled back within the margin of error… The three-day average holds steady, but McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday, one day, polling. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all…

Some amazing news from internal GOP polling.

It appears that the voters who didn’t want Obama in the primaries, still don’t want him now – Unity pony be damned!

Apparently, McCain is 2 points ahead in New Jersey – and sweet karma – ahead in Michigan! Yes, the “half vote” Michigan. yes, that “4 Hillary delegates go to the guy who wasn’t on the ballot Michigan. And also, the state McCain stopped campaigning in!

Only 2 points behind in California – with 9% undecided and Barr 3%

In Pennsylvania there’s a McCain blowout 55 McCain, 33 Obama – with 37% Dems voting McCain (those PUMAs we were talking about from another source) and 14 % undecided – these being DEMOCRATS

Good news from the McCain campaign:

Obama campaign faces tremendous structural challenges in the final days of this campaign

Obama has a challenge hitting 50%: Barack Obama has not reached the 50% threshold in almost any the battleground state. He consistently is performing in the 45-48% range. When we look closely at the primary votes, we see a history of a candidate whose Election Day performance is often at or behind his final polling numbers. If this is true, our surge will leave Obama with even or under 50% of the vote on Election Day.

Early Vote: The Obama campaign has promised that their early vote and absentee efforts will change the composition of the electorate. They have sold the press on a story that first time voters will turn out in droves this election cycle. Again, the facts undermine their argument. In our analysis of early voting and absentee votes to date: The composition of the electorate has not changed significantly and most folks who have voted early are high propensity voters who would have voted regardless of the high interest in this campaign.

Expanding the Field: Obama is running out of states if you follow out a traditional model. Today, he expanded his buy into North Dakota, Georgia and Arizona in an attempt to widen the playing field and find his 270 Electoral Votes. This is a very tall order and trying to expand into new states in the final hours shows he doesn’t have the votes to win.

  • workingclass artist

I think Lots of folks are sayin one thing out loud and doing another thing in the voting booth..aaaand that includes Holly Wood…I think if you look at the internal poling in NEW JERSEY…where 4-1 undecideds are breaking for McCain it begins to make sense…ACORN is the #1 reason they are voting for McCain…the see him as a reformer..imho…

Look! When you put Frank Davis, Rev Wright, Acorn, Bill Ayers, PLO appeaser, spreading the wealth around comments, Rezko, bitter clinging to gun and bible, mean country, buying the airwaves, changing the american symbol, built huge ego by going oversea to say I am sorry for our country, hiding tapes, hiding videos, kicking out our press, stopping interviews on tv because they ask hard questions, calling everybody a racist if you don’t vote for him, and YOU think the american people are not listening? Give them credit! They know socialism when they see it. When a party is able to get into your personal data (as they did to me and I don’t give a holy crap-nothing to hide- just an old Judeo-Christian fighting for my wonderful country) and to get Joe the Plumber’s personal data and spread it around to hurt him- do you really think the american people are going to tolerate this? No. They are smarter than that.

Looks like he has sewn up the SW. Too bad.

    Maybe not.

    From the McCain campaign:

The Southwest – It is no secret that Republican candidates in the Southwest have to focus on winning over enough Latino and Hispanic voters in Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado to carry them to victory. John McCain has overcome challenges Republicans face, and has made up tremendous ground in these states with these voters. For these voters, the choice has become clear, and you have seen a big change in the numbers. John McCain is now winning enough voters to perform within the margin of error – putting these states within reach.

Hispanic and Latinos are overwhelmingly Catholic.
    n0bama is overwhelmingly pro-abortion.

There are issues that matter to Spanish speakers -other than immigration. Tito the Builder comes to mind.

I say if McCain gets within 3-4 points, then that’s a real race to watch.

Even 7 or 6 in some states, depending on the pollster, how many undecideds, etc.

I personally think we’re seeing what usually happens with Obama. His message is falling apart. Everyone is now buzzing about just how low this “top” amount will be, since his own VP is dropping the bar. That’s a bad move. That means….he’s leaving voters with a HUGE question mark about how much they can trust what he pounded on all the GE season.

McCain, on the other hand, is absolutely hitting the closing arguments effectively. He’s raised doubts. He’s hit home on taxes. And he’s finishing strong.

    He has a chance.

  • Archimedes, give me a place to stand…

People this is now crunch time. Our efforts to get the goods on the Obamanalbe Snowman out through venues such as NQ has run its’ course.

The data compiled by Rove in ’04 showed that people bussed in to go knock on and such were not nearly as effective as locals whom may even know you. This the ground game the R’s used to great effect that year.

We her are all now armed with all the arguements against Mr.Obamanable. It is time to to get off the ‘puter, take the dog for a walk, go to your local pub, and strike up a conversation and get like minds to GO VOTE! The old adage “never talk politics or religion” at the bar is false. Remember this nation was born out a little tavern called The Green Dragon in boston.

  • Firefly

And undecideds are gonna break for McCain 4:1, most likely – that, right there, is gonna blow barky outta the water in a lot of battleground states.

About undecideds, Dick Morris said last night that they’re still “undecided” because all this time they’ve been trying to jump on the unity pony but they just can’t bring themselves to do it. He says these people, in the final analysis on election day, are not gonna pull the lever for 0bama. They’re gonna vote McCain, third party, or stay home.

Not that Dick Morris is the last word, of course, but it makes perfect sense to me. And I think it’s very bad news for barky – yay!

Morris is also the one who’s eschewing all the know-it-all pollsters and pundits who keep trying to convince us “it’s over.” He says anybody who thinks this is over is crazy. I agree.

Interesting, but I’m not seeing that in the polls, frankly.

I always thought that McCain and Obama would split the Latino vote, with the older Latinos voting for McCain and the younger generation for Obama.

That was just a wild guess on my part. I also wondered if there’d be much turn-out of the younger Latinos. This isn’t really their “schtick.”

But…..I’m from LA, where there’s huge racial divide here.

  • beebop

And in typical fashion, the campaign is silent about a person’s rights … silent when Hillary was being villifed, silent when Sarah was hung in effigy, silent when Joe was intruded upon. But. He can certainly act quickly when a newspaper endorses McCain, can’t he? He’s the pettiest person to ever run for office. He makes Bush look like Mother Teresa.

I’m not voting for McCain, but arrogant pricks like you who think you have the market on intelligence are why I now can’t abide whatever is being called the Democratic Party. This notion of intellectual superiority and condescension toward anyone not holding what is so smugly touted as a “progressive” viewpoint is by far the most hypocritical stance I’ve ever seen taken. Obama has no working plan to end the Iraq war, so your draft analogy is ridiculous. Your use of the term “retard” is about as intelligent and progressive and indicative of compassion as Fred Phelps screaming “God hates fags” at a gay pride parade.

However I do think that any worker that votes against the interest of their employer is not acting in the best interest of their own job. Sometimes you don’t just vote for the pretty face. You sometimes need to look at how your vote will contribute to your “selfish” interest – ie keeping your employer in the black.

If any of those earlier-reporting eastern states goes to McCain – or is even really close – I believe the MSM will try to hide those results as long as possible. Remember how they did that to Hillary? All the states she was winning in, they pronounced them “too close to call,” well after it was so damn obvious – and they put off reporting results as long as they possibly could.

They’re gonna do the same thing with McCain – and they’ll jump on any state McCain is behind in.

  • J.J. (The PUMA)

If I can get serious for a minute, dedicated PUMA that I am, I find the notion of taking retribution against someone because of their political beliefs to be deeply offensive. And all of you fellow PUMA’s should agree, not only because it is the right thing to do, but because we are about to see elected a person with a decidedly authoritarian personality who is likely to use the power of the presidency to harass and repress oposition. (Obama is very Nixonian).

So this guy may lay off Obama supporters, but a lot of Joe the Plumbers are going to have their personal records dug into to teach the rest of us to keep our mouths shut.

They all do that kind of thing, Red.

That move was particularly obvious, of course.

My guess is from watching him that he’ll operate just like Bush. The press will have very limited access. They will get only WH issued reports. He will run a very tight press conference format, and the usual drivel will be coming forth from the WH press corps.

But, who has paid attention to them in years anyway?

I do not see that blogs will be relevant, unless they start making stuff up and hit a libel suit.

Because Democrats are just now waking up to the persuasive power of churches…cuts both ways…And Most hispanics are either RCC or are evangelical…There are not a lot of secular Hispanics…I’m just sayin’
Black Liberation Theology has sunk it for Barky with these voters…They will Vote McCain/Palin throughout the southwest

And, as a follow-up to my previous post. Obama’s authoritarianism is much more dangerous than Nixon’s because of the rabid supporters he has, who remind me of the “Brown Shirts” of the 1930′s. They will be the enforcers of the repression that will be our future.

I never once voted for my employer’s interests unless they happened to coincide with what I thought were the interests of the country.

There’s another caveat too. These are details you don’t know about yet but they’re coming.

    1. All AA employees must in the future have higher salaries than others because there was slavery 160 years ago, because it wouldn’t be PC otherwise, because Black is Supreme.

    2. If you sack any employees that are not black you’ll be OK. If you sack black employees Barack’s ACORN friends (Maddie Talbott et al) as well as Wade Rathke and his millionaire brother will be all over you. A few university students – the ones not busy voting the second, third, or fourth time – may also come to your house, break windows, wake you up and intimidate you, or burn down your place of business. This is freedom of speech, hope, change, and above all unity. And you are in such case a RACIST.

Just get on an airplane and go anywhere. Anywhere at all. In any direction. You can’t have it as bad as you do now. No way. It’s mathematically impossible.

You bring up a point that is valid on the surface, but as a business owner I disagree. Political beliefs go beyond the voting booth and speak to who a person is, what they believe in.

If one supports Barack Obama because they like his tax plan, their beliefs aren’t necessarily the ones I want an employeed to have. I don’t want employees to think that people deserve things without working for it.

If one supports BO because they think he’s going to create jobs by taxing the employers more, then that’s probably not too good for my business either.

If one supports BO because of a woman’s right to choose, okay I don’t care. But if that’s the only position this employee supports, then I think this employee is shallow and sad that that issue is the most important thing to them.

I could go on, but won’t.

A person’s politics say many things about a person.

  • Pennsylvania Red

Yes, BLT is an offshoot of Liberation Theology, which contrary to popular belief, was NOT an up from the grass roots movement:

Liberation theology began as a movement of the university-educated elite. Berryman cites the comments of leading liberation theologian, Juan Luis Segundo, who points out that “the initial formulations were the work of theologians involved not so much with the poor as with university groups and intellectuals who were becoming aware of the structural crisis of Latin America”.

“Liberation theologians are intellectuals”, he says. “They produce a steady output of books and articles and take part in conferences … Their aim is to be ‘organic intellectuals’ (Antonio Gramsci) – that is, intellectuals whose work is directly connected with popular struggle.” “For the most part, they do not write directly for the poor”; a major part of their audience is “other clergy, and bishops in particular”.

I wonder how much time Mother Teresa spent with the intellectual elite?

(oh wait I forgot her days were tied up ministering to the street poor and crippled…)

Even assuming the State of Hawaii holds an ‘original’ Birth Certificate stating BO was born in HI, this by itself fails to document BO is a natural born citizen. Again, if Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian national adopted BO then, his Birth Certificate in HI would have been replaced to reflect that 1) he was born in HI; and 2) Lolo Soetoro is his birth father. And if Lolo Soetoro is listed as his birth father on his Hawaiian Birth Certificate then, this means that, BO was a citizen of Indonesia, as already indicated by circumstantial evidence including his school registration, showing the name Barry Soetoro; and, assuming he is in this country legally, he is a naturalized citizen. Naturalized citizens are ineligible for POTUS.

Lawsuits brought based on the issue of BO’s Constitutional eligibility for POTUS were dismissed based on procedural issues; the issue of his eligibility has never been considered. (Perhaps this is why Attorney Greta van Susteren, on FOX News, has now proposed that all of the candidates for POTUS and VPOTUS produce their birth certificates.)

It’s important because it’s part of a PATTERN.

It’s also a looking-glass into his principles/ideology and gives us a very clear picture of what an 0bama presidency would be like wrt the press and free speech.

They didn’t like the questions posed by that reporter in Florida – she’s banned!

Same with the reporter in Philly – banned!

They didn’t like the questions posed by ABC in that debate – send all minions, from all quarters, to attack and destroy!

They didn’t like the anti-barky ads coming out of Missouri – so, cops and DAs and TRUTH SQUADS – implied threats to prosecute! And not just in MO.

Joe the Plumber asks a question that embarrasses 0bama publicly because he “forced” barky into accidentally stating his real intentions – use the government to investigate, attack, destroy!

There are so many more examples I can’t remember right now.

But the 0bama campaign spends a lot of time and resources trying to get all the people to see each incident in THE PATTERN as an isolated case that can be explained away.

Nope, NOT ISOLATED – and NOT BENIGN. It’s all part of a very calculated, insidious, and dare I say evil, pattern that, should 0bama end up in the WH (God forbid!) America will pay for with its democracy.

No, he’s not wrong – 3-day polling will obviously show McCain still behind. The 1-day Zogby poll has Mac up by 1.

Pollster John Zogby: “Is McCain making a move? The three-day average holds steady, but McCain outpolled Obama today, 48% to 47%. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all. “Obama’s lead among women declined, and it looks like it is occurring because McCain is solidifying the support of conservative women, which is something we saw last time McCain picked up in the polls. If McCain has a good day tomorrow, we will eliminate Obama’s good day three days ago, and we could really see some tightening in this rolling average. But for now, hold on.”

These employees also have displayed a lack on concern about unethical behavior. If they will excuse the many ties to dubious characters and then lying about them, the caucus fraud and other unethical behaviors associated with this campaign, what unethical behaviors would they justify as an employee of a company?

Most Latinos and Hispanics want a fair shake…which is why they immigrated to America in the first place since Latin America and Mexico are still prey to European Class systems…That said…Most of this voting block want fair immigration reform to accomplish basic things.
    1. To cut down on crime and fraud of which the Hispanic community is the major victim of.
    2. Most want to be legit citizens and will gladly pay reasonable penalties to do this.
    3. They want to be prtotected under the law from exploitation.
    4. They want a fair shake for their kids.
    5. They want the political stability offered in the US.
Now most know that IMMIGRATION REFORM IS COMING BECAUSE IT MUST…THE SYSTEM IS OVERWHELMED…AND SO THEY TRUST THAT ONLY A POLITICIAN WHO KNOWS THE REALITIES WILL BE CAPABLE TO COME UP WITH A FAIR SOLUTION…NOBODY IS GOING TO BE 100% HAPPY WITH ANY SOLUTION…IT’S MORE ABOUT BEING BALANCED AND PRAGMATIC ABOUT ALL THE CONCERNS ON BOTH BORDERS…NORTH AND SOUTH…
SO BORDER FENCE ASIDE…WHO YA GONNA TRUST TO LISTEN AND DO SOMETHING FAIR AND BALANCED…A GUY FROM ARIZONA WITH THE EAR OF CALIFONIA….OR A SCHMUCK FROM CHICAGO WHO WILL IGNORE IT AND BS WHILE THINGS GET WORSE…A GUY FROM CHICAGO WHO DOESN’T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ANYBODY ELSE IN THIS COUNTRY BUT HIMSELF…

I live in Texas…Most folks Hispanic or otherwise are gettin damn sick of the crime and the drugs…It affects all of us…The labor exploitation and the SS/ID fraud affects all of us…The Utter confusion and backlog at immigration services affects all of us and a solution is needed…AND ONLY STRONG AND FAIR LEADERSHIP WILL MAKE THAT HAPPEN…LEADERSHIP FOR ALL OF US…AND HISPANICS KNOW THAT WON’T COME FROM BARKY..BUT TRUST IT WILL COME FROM MCCAIN…

Just suppose——”I could no longer disown David Duke than disown my racist grandmother”—–”It was years ago Tim Mcviegh bombed the federal building, and I have only met with him a few times since then”—–etc, etc.

  • RAG DOLL

    Hey Marc,

Perhaps you can are the one whose wealth will provide the AA Lady who is overwhelmed that she won’t have to worry anymore about gas for her car nor paying her mortgage payment since Obama is going to take care of all of that for her.
That’s what she said, its all over the internet and on YT. I am sure you can’t hire her though for why should she want to work since Obama is going to take care of her with your money. Go watch the YT video and you will be very proud.

  • Rocky

Just suppose——”I could no longer disown David Duke than disown my racist grandmother”—–”It was years ago Tim Mcviegh bombed the federal building, and I have only met with him a few times since then”—–etc, etc.

Be honest Obots. You know what would have happened.

  • Jules

How’s this? Can we implement your program nationally? Lets draft all the McCain supporters and send them to Iraq, but every soldier who votes Obama can be “laid off” from the Military — or at least redeployed from that stinking hell hole?

How’s this? YOU Obama supporters redistribute YOUR wealth and pay for his social programs. We McCain supporters will keep our money.

( actually AnninCA Barky has been acting like the Southwest is Swinging his way and the Dallas Morning News was the only major South/Southwestern Paper on the plane…)
If Barky thought he was gettin a pounding before…lol…

  • Diana

My son in law is also talking about laying off people if Obama wins. Unemployment is at 6% right now let’s see what happens if Obama wins. How many major corporation begin laying off with his plans on top of those the small businesses that will be laying off. We now know that Obama lied yet again and even those making just 20K will be getting a nice tax hike of close to 1,000 dollars once Bush’s tax cuts expire. Which doesn’t even include the lifted cap on Social Security. Yes I can see how making the poor poorer and bring the middle class to poor will grow the economy…NOT.

  • Jules

Joe The Plumber…Tito the Builder. Does anyone else foresee a Village People skit on Saturday Night Live coming up soon?

If so, you will all have to tell me about it because I refuse to watch that show any more.

You remind me of those pissants who show up in corporate America acting like the Company didn’t run till you got there. We always laughed a lot behind your back while you made your first million dollar mistake.

  • http://uppitywoman08.wordpress.com Uppity Woman

I have a number of friends who own small businesses. They make that Cutoff Salary. They went into business to Do Better. They took all the risks, they pay all the bills. They are the ones who switch on the lights early and switch off the lights late at night.

They all have employees and every ONE of them has told me they will NOT take a cut in their take home pay. They will find a way to recoup and that means they WILL lay off employees. They WILL outsource work to agencies and cut benefit payouts that way. They WILL take care of their own standard of living. Because THEY took the risk.

Brilliant idea. Just brilliant. Watch unemployment rise through the roof because people who take risks aren’t going to pay for this crap. It’s as simple as that.

As for the VERY wealthy: They are already working on how to circumvent the system, including passing it on to the consumer. That will leave the middle class to pay for this, but then again, getting rid of the middle class is always the Socialist Goal.

    Enjoy!

    Hi Esatan:
We haven’t heard from NavyVet for a while? Are you in touch? I hope she is okay. She seemed pretty depressed the last time she posted.

Arnold has a lot of problems with some Republicans himself. He’s another that is not conservative enough for them. Democrats tried to recall him, didn’t work out. I don’t have any friends Democrat or Republican that aren’t faulting Democrats here in CA for most of our problems. Their refusal to work with the Governor to cut spending. To balance the budget no matter how much they try to lay all the blame on him. We’ve saw how they want to just keep spending and spending when there is no money to spend.

They’ve fought him from day one, other than Diane and there are a lot of people here that have taken notice of that. It can’t just be in my city where they’ve taken notice. No matter what Democrats have told them, or Republican talk shows/blogs. Something I learned about Arnold being Governor is some men can be just as catty, jealous, backstabbing as some women, if not more because they’ll keep it going just for the sake of keeping it going. If he does decide to run against Boxer in 2010. I think he’ll win it.

lol…Barky will get Hawaii ( they want to secede from the union so I say he can be their KING…chuckle…) But…That would be a special cherry on top if folks from Illinois sick of Chi-Town thuggery gave Barky the Boot…what a HOOT that would be…

  • Diana

Do you have a link for this video? I missed it, tried to search for it and can’t find it.

  • Docelder

I have been hearing from people who run small business the same theme though. Everybody expects business to tank if Obama is elected and being small businesses that are already hurting they will layoff before he is even sworn in. If you are torn between surviving as a business or not… this becomes a lot easier a decision to make. Only somebody who has never been responsible for meeting payroll and quarterly tax deposit deadlines will have problems getting this. As for the Obama supporters getting hit first… call it “tough love”. ;)

  • sandi78

I’ve been saying for weeks that California could be in play. First of all, California was/is Hillary country except for a relatively small pocket around the San Francisco Bay area.

Next, there are two propositions on the ballot which are guaranteed to bring every right-wingnut out to vote-Prop 8 (gay marriage) and Prop 4 (Parental permission for minors to have an abortion). Then take into account that not all Democrats are voting for Obama and voila! a major state in play. (Vote no on Prop 8 so that gays and lesbians in California can continue to be treated equally under the law!)

  • kgirl1028

One word for you. Castro. A large portion of Cubans who left after the rise of communism. These people fled cuba only to come here and forced to take minial labor when in cuba they were professionals. I’ve seen more than a few comment and say that Obama sounds like Castro and I think this will help mccain in florida.

  • Diana

Found it. That poor woman is in for the shock of her life. If he told them things like that at that rally he should be ashamed of himself. That’s disgusting and just how does he think these people are going to react when they find out he’s not going to do even half of what he’s promised, let alone what she thinks is going to happen.

Here’s the link for anyone else that hasn’t seen the video.

It’s got to be a difficult choice for Illinois-do they want to keep him as a Senator or promote him up and out of the state! A no-win for them really, they can’t get rid of him either way.

Yeah Diana…Adolf told folks a lot of stuff they wanted to hear too…and most folks didn’t think he’d go as far as he did…Fascists say a lot of things to Persuade…and some folks leave their common sense at the door…sheeesh!

I’m a native of NJ. It is a solidly blue state. If the state goes for McCain, it will be an unstoppable blowout.

Guess the Jersey Devil didn’t like the dumping on Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin. Or how Hillaty Clinton was kicked to the curb.

But then, I can’t believe how close it is in CA.

Amazing race in a year the Dems should be 15 pts ahead.

  • Madison

Spread the wealth is getting to be hooked on more people first he said 100,000 while back ago in the PM’S and then 200,000 250,000 and then this week went to 150,000 and yesterday it went to 120,000.Getting back to where he was in the pr”s praimarys..

Now we are going to have more middle class then ever people are more job lost because people won’t keep their business and letting people go will be the worst thing as it is now.I say no taxes on anyone-we need to build not destory.I am below middle class if you can say that.I agree withj John McCain. We can’t let Obama destroy us.When building back jobs we win and when tearing down jobs we lose.At this point we can not afford more taxes. No mater what we need to build america upp again from the people who took it down was the democrats..

  • athena

omg! Me too and I think the same thing!

That video should not just played in every swing state it should be played in every state. THE best video I’ve seen this whole season and I have seem some great ones. Thank you!! It was FANTASTIC!

Marc, how is it that you can still type with your head jammed that far up your ass? If I were a business owner I wouldn’t want any fascist zombies devoid of anything resembling critical thinking working for me either. With any luck the mother ship will come back and take you, your messiah, the rest of the sheople back to your home world of Dementia. Buckle up!

  • Madison

We need to talk of this tonight -Obama will hurt by more lays offs and more we middle class will also get struck by this just watch.. Now 120,000 will not open a business or hire more or stay open with this.We can not tax anyone right now-America is in bad shape.this is .Can you even think of the business making 120,000 above and they go under and how many more people will be be laid off? How many more business will close the doors ? How many people will be laid off and no work-How many people who had business who had to close their doors and now we have double the problem. And guess what? The trible problem will be that now the middle class will have to be tax.And don’t you think that’s not really in the plans.but, let it isn’t when the 120,000 or more are tax then business will be lost-more jobs-more homes-will be gone….Taxes it not good right now to raise. The middle class will be living in the streets and the one of 120,000 will became middle class and then down the line.Tell me how long will it take to wipe us out?? Not long at all.Think..tax is not good right now..

  • Ted Kennedy’s Swim Coach

    WorkingClass,

you would be surprised if you knew how many people from Illinois do not like Obama.
Until recently I lived in Chicago. The only reason he won his senate seat was because the Repub. candidate’s divorce records were unsealed, so he dropped out of the race. At the last minute Alan Keyes, who is not from Illinois and is too conservative even for many repubs, was toast.
There are plenty of Chicagoans who are annoyed that he has spent most of his tenure as senator running for higher office rather than governing the office he is being paid for.

I would seriously not be surprised if McCain had a very strong showing in Illinois.

PS. I think that Nader will make a strong showing in Illinois. This is from democrats disgusted with Obie but who will not vote for for McCain. They figure that it “won’t matter” because Obama will win Illinois anyway, but it will cut into his votes anyway.

  • Mollye

    Huh?

  • workingclass artist

Hmmmm…Well in that case Bully For Nader!…chuckle…My mother’s clan is from Illinois…And I’ll bet they aren’t voting for Barky.Rock Solid Workingclass folks…Kinda like Hillary…So we sall see. I lived in Indiana ( my daughter is a little Hoosier )….It will be interesting and I have been praying for Fitzgerald since he started on Rezko…

Big businesses provide our daily mass produced essentials. These are the things that get prioritized whenever we have to jiggle our budgets around. So when the price of these products rise, as they will do under Obama’s higher taxes, they will start to “crowd out” other things from our weekly budgets.

Those other things are the kind of products and services that small businesses provide. So even those who won’t fact a tax hike under Obama will face lower revenues because there will be fewer dollars chasing their products. Many will have to lay off workers, many will fold. For those who have young businesses which aren’t yet operating on a comfortable profit margin, an Obama Presidency will be a catastrophe.

  • http://insightanalytical.wordpress.com/ Grail Guardian

    chezmadame,

Sorry, but I don’t believe in “outing” people (even if they are idiots). Let’s not stoop to the level of the Oborg.

  • http://insightanalytical.wordpress.com/ Grail Guardian

Not to mention that people hear what they want to hear. Obama has made that crystal clear!

  • Hos-Before-Bros

    Love it!

  • buckwheat

I have been thinking about all these “huge” crowds that obummer attracts. Do all those people work and if they do, does that mean that their employers give them time off to attend ? wtf ? something doesnt add up, must be bullshit.

  • Faith

“what unethical behaviors would they justify as an employee of a company” From our experience as small business owners: Not showing up for work on time with no explanation, not showing up at all for a day,or more, also with no explanation or a really dorky excuse, expensive inventory and ordinary supplies go missing( with the reasoning that these items are OWED to them simply because they are on the premises), quality of work always needs improvement, always needing to repeat simple instructions, when a task is finished they just goof off if the boss is not right there to instruct them on the next task( they are not capable of looking for the next task that needs attending to), always gripping about work conditions and the boss, etc. These may be the kind of employees who don’t care if a candidate for POTUS has shady friends and is shifty at being honest.

  • Faith

“lacking judgement logic, and reason”, sounds like a description of their candidate.lol

  • postmaster

Obviously, Marc, you have little to do but call McCain supporters retards? That is an OFFENSIVE word and shows your ignorance and lack of empathy for those people who are mentally challenged. You are not only a jerk, you are a pig.

  • postmaster

I tried to view the video, said no longer available. :(

  • Margaret

I think Obama considers anyone who works for a living as upper class, and responsible for supporting anyone who won’t get off their duff and do a thing to succeed in life.
