note also that excuses for the polls being wrong are almost a cottage industry: racism, the "Bradley effect" (racism)...

note also the creeping of politics into every corner of life - of partisanship, I mean - into education, the arts, even science makes me suspicious of polls. If there are activist journalists, actors, artists, why not activist pollsters?

By the way: Aunt Zeituni, Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers... the list is too long: what do you call someone who uses a thing once, like a piece of toilet paper, and throws it away?

Well, it does explain the strange campaigning strategy in the final stages. One would expect Obama to solidify states he owns that add up to 270+, not to go for a landslide. For what purpose? Certainly the media have dirtied their reputations by being painfully incurious about the candidate but I always felt that was Boomer-generation vanity was at work.

My argument is that 5 out of the top 10 share ratings for new shows Fox out-rating CNN and MSNBC combined. That might indicate a freak in the polls. Also Matt Drudge, a one-man operation out-hit the NYT online! That also might indicate a loss of trust in the MSM.

But the really interesting bit was an 80% "It's none of your business who I'm voting for." Wow! If that's true. Anyway, if you love democracy, you value the secret ballot. I NEVER tell pollsters who I'm voting for. It's the right thing to do. It forces candidates to stick to issues and tell who they REALLY are!

Let's vote for beloved Aunt Zeituni, who Obama threw under the bus yesterday. Aunt Zeituni? Don't know her? the New Party? Who's that? Ayers? Khalidi? Al-Mansour? Wright? Who are they? The voter? A distraction! The Constitution? Fundamentally flawed? Massive redistribution of wealth? Huh? Who?

If we look deep into our souls, we PUMAs will realize that we were aware of this already through our looking glasses. This is just confirmation of that which we expected from Obama.

I am a Colorado native too. This is the first time there was ever much of a chance to turn the state deep blue. It comes from the metropolitan areas of Denver/Boulder and wannabe Boulder--i.e., Fort Collins--and the "Hollywood" areas in places like Aspen and Vail. But Colorado Springs with Focus on the Family and the Air Force Academy and military presence is red, and I agree with you about Pueblo--the unions, there, however are strongly Dem.

It will be interesting to see, especially since we've had a lot of Californication happening to the state over the last few years.

I generally, however, like our state Democrats. They do seem to like to cross party lines to get things done. I am just appalled by what the DNC did and was ashamed to have the Roman-style apotheosis of THE ONE event held in the Mile High City, because I am aa proud Coloradoan.

Actually speaking my mind is one of the things i'm looking forward to when I get old.

I speak my mind now, but I try to be civil. I wont have to be that way when I"m old.

If it is anything it is well written and to the point.

The author points to sy-ops and "disinformations networks".

The post confirms that in a national campaign, speaking "truth to power" is unheard of. Ironicly funny that...

If this the direction of this Country's electoral process, the "body politic" is being made ill.

Short term gain over long term solutions is all I witness.

Food for thought.

I think this is bait to get us talking and telling on where we are at with the election. Obama's campaign is based on the blog activities and always has been..nothing has been disclosed lately by PUMAS.
Additionally, WE ALREADY KNEW ALL OF THESE OBAMA TACTICS ALONG WITH THE FACT THAT HE IS RUNNING A LYING SWILLFULL CAMPAIGN.

our internal polling suggests that though she has had a minimal impact on pulling disaffected Hillary Democrats to McCain

Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin has had a great positive effect on voters especially Hillary voters! Mac heard us. He promised PUMAS to pick a woman and he did. There is lots this writer doesn't know about and that is PUMAS connection to McCain after the RBC meeting. Mac was there for us when the party kicked us to the curb. This is no accident that PUMAS are voting for McCain! Mac earned our vote and the Good Governor solidified it.

This Obama worker/writer needs to know, that it is Palin who will, and has cleaned up corruption and put government in the hands of the people.
Her personal choices for herself may not be her political choices for us. She certainly is a live and let live person. Her main duty will be to get us moving on a path of self supported energy policies and to clean up corruption in Congress. Those are her policies and if the writer can't agree with that them, then bite me!

Hillary Dem for McCain/Palin '08 !!!!!

I do not know if this is live or Memorex. I have my doubts about someone in the 0bama campaign identifying themselves so specifically.

As far as me being shocked/surprised at the things she mentioned, sorry but I had all of this stuff figured out ages ago. What I need is someone to verify it publicly and someone not afraid to identify themselves.

What I am certain is this, that the 0bama campaign has been true-to-form about one thing: no leaks so far.

But it's well-written in the sense that it reads real. With the exception of the person identifying themselves too explicitly.

Frankly, none of this is new information to me. 0bama should have chosen Hillary if he was serious about beating the pants off of McCain. Not that I wanted him to, but ultimately as time went along, I realized that I would have at the last minute softened my resolve if Hillary had been the VP.

Not now. It's McCain/Palin all the way for me.

You know what's pathetic about this? He has ignored the black press all campaign long. Has not spent any of his vast war chest advertising in AA media. Hello? These are small businesses trying to survive. And now he offers 2 media outlets, both owned by the same company, btw, crumbs off the table.

0bama is a prick!

That more AAs, like myself don't realize this speaks to a kind of desperation and ignorance that I frankly find embarassing and mind-boggling.

I can't wait to vote against this prick on Tuesday. Election Day can't come soon enough for me.

My vote is that NJ will flip for McCain. I'm a New Yorker and at best the race will be tighter than anyone expected, but ultimately will go to 0bama.

You'll have to pick me up off the floor if McCain wins.

Be assured, I will have done my part in that upset.
