I suspect Senator Obama's aunt is a nice lady. She probably hasn't had contact with him since his first visit to Africa. He used her in the book, that's all his relationship is to her. It wouldn't surprise me that he had no idea she was in Boston until Axelrod found her. That they hid her, instead of finding a way to legally get her residency concerns me. They had options, options the American public would have accepted. I'm curious - will his aunt be deported to live her remaining years in a hut in Kenya? Or will she suddenly find a home in the White House as a nanny? Will Senator Obama tell us how wonderful it is to be reunited after all these years with his beloved aunt? Or that he deported a disabled lady who is his aunt to Kenya? Which one will go over better with America? Which scandal is going to mire his presidency in mud, where he'll become a lame duck who spends the majority of his time defending his history? Wright, Ayers, ACORN, Aunt Z, Rezko, Odinga, al Mansour, birth certificate and all the other ones I'm too tired to look up the correct spellings for. Somehow I just don't think the Republicans are going to let this pass. The Republicans may lie low for the next couple of years. The people who voted for Senator Obama expect immediate change. They expect every soldier to be out of Iraq by the end of next year. It's not going to happen - we're going to have 30k or more stationed there for years. They're going to expect the economy to turn around. Their 401ks to recover in a few months. Wages to increase. Grocery bills to come down. Wall Street to get it's act together, which isn't going to happen over night, affordable health insurance, increase in good paying jobs, etc... When it doesn't happen, in two years they'll be voting for a Republican Congress. And then the fun will begin. Anyone know where Ken Starr is these days? I do care about it.
