Yes, they said they were going to go to the voting centers to ensure their rights to vote, which doesn’t mean they didn’t vote while they were there, and then hung around, its a case of potato potatoe, we can’t know for sure, but, with the words they were reported as saying, we can’t discount that they didn’t do it either.

However, in all the years of the news where videos have been recorded on cell phones, I have never ever, not seen the video released in full, showing the actions they were accused of, til now.  Why?  What is so different about this one, that the only thing you see is 2, decidedly unwise, members of the Panthers, standing outside the polling station, not blocking anyone, and, since no videos have been otherwise forthcoming with any overt actions, doing more than a bare protest at the location, without getting in anyones way per se to enter.

Definitely not enough to warrant anyone calling the police to have them there, I surely did not see any officers hanging about to ensure nothing happened, which, rest assured, is normal when anyone feels threatened enough, they call the police.  So why no police presense?  Other articles state that state troopers were watching other polls, why not this one?

All in all, it sounds more like a smoke screen for the racially inclined, who are upset over methods the other side chose, either because they didn’t think of it first, or, because, their side isn’t allowed to do it, and they want to create as much media hype as they can get away with.

In my opinion, this country has become too PC, and less like the country we founded it as.  Our current political politicians, appear to have agendas of their own, that do not appear to have the american people at heart, seems to be more about how to fund their pockets more.  I would rather see no politicians voted into office, unless said politician made no money from being in office, and only got allotments, the cheapest to get them there and back, with room and board while in Washington D.C., as payment for being in office.

Makes one wonder how well they would come through in resolving issues if they had to get back to work to make money to live on, instead of getting nearly $180,000 a year for talking a subject to death or stalling on bills the other party might look good for.  Are we Americans?  Or are the politicians only Republicans or Democrats or Independants?  I’m an American myself, I don’t care which side gets credit, I only care if the new law or tax has meaning to me, and how it affects myself and my family.  Is it good or bad?  If bad, why was it allowed in in the first place?

And why on earth are there some laws that are not voted for by the American people, that only the representatives get to vote on, and we have to live with.  Especially given that most Americans believe most politicians to be on the payrolls of big business, that’s like letting the fox run the hen house.

So, if there is more evidence that they did more than assemble, and not enough to warrant police intervention, and, they didn’t overtly threaten anyone, since the videos would have shown that by a hundred million posters once they got their hands on it, then perhaps people should take a very long look at their views, and perhaps, just perhaps, realize that they might just be racist, and get over it.

There is even a white woman on her cell phone, some 7 or so feet behind them, leaning on a column, she surely doesn’t look like she’s intimidated at all.

Since the advent of the video camera in cell phones, we have gotten videos of all kinds of things, from the outrageous stupidity of kids on skateboards, jumping things and slamming face first into concrete walks, and thinking its cool, to stupid police officers doing stupid things to people they pull over, yet, I see no evidence of them overtly threatening or shouting at people.

Do I consider it wise of them being there?  No, I think it was very stupid of them to do so, however, since it was only 2, and since they were not engaging in more than a stand there, it would be similar to posting a couple of marines in uniform, outside of a mosque, and thinking that it would not intimidate the members due to the racial persecution they feel that we americans are leveling their way for just being muslim, yet, we would consider it as prevention.

I really don’t like it when a black person lumps all white people into one monolithic block, or assumes nefarious intentions of all whites, or scornfully dismiss all whites. Amazingly enough, it’s offensive to hear the same thing done to a black person.

Perhaps it would be different if I knew that this type of comment is unusual for you… It just came off as “OMG they’ll kill us all, run for your lives!!!!”
