We’ll keep adding new threads.

  • Shiloh

Fox calls VT for Obama and KY for McCain.

    • Kal

Must be based on exit polls, right? The whole vote isn’t in yet in either place.

McCain is doing well in Ky

      • FranSC

The networks and cable outlets are not using exit polls to project winners because they found out in 2004 that John Kerry looked like the winner based on exit polls. Same in 2000. In fact, that’s why they projected Gore the winner in FL in 2000. The exit polls have always shown Obama doing better than he actually does… they say.

      • NoBama

VT is like a Communist state-no surprise there.

        • Sarracuda

Vermont thinks that Sex offenders can be cured by giving them hugs. I had no doubt Vermont would go to Obama

          • beebop

            Vermont elected Dean. Enough said.

        • rw

Vermont is where all the 60′s hippies went…I think.

        • rw

Does the woman on the above video really believe what she is saying…that Obama will pay for her gas and her mortgage…did I misunderstand. If that is what a number of AA have been reading from Obama messages, then he is an abusive opportunist preying on the vulnerable. That is really sad.

  • Samy

I think Obama has won the election. I have to admit it.

    • Shiloh

You’re not admitting it, you are praying for it. Fail.

      • Ferd McBerfle

Trolls, even on election night. They are worried.

  • Alice Severens

I have a bad feeling about Indiana – comparing it to 2000 and 2004, the evil ONE is way over-performing… by nearly 30 points in some places.

And none of the machine cheater counties (Lake, Marion, St Joe, Monroe, and Tippecanoe) have reported anything yet.

    • Andrew

I just heard that Marion county is too close to call.

    • Alice Severens

Nearly all of Vigo – a big Indiana bellweather – has reported.

Bush won Vigo by about 8 pts. EO (I’m abbreviating Evil One rest of the night) is winning by 15.

      I am sick right now.

    • Nobama

I agree…though they did call the governor race for the repub incumb. I am not sure how they can call it for him when the urban areas have not reported yet. Lake county is way AA as well as Indianapolis

    • FranSC

We should not worry about the first returns anywhere it is very close. The first ones come from the inner cities. The suburbs and rural areas will be more McCain areas. They come in later.

      • Alice Severens

I’m looking at the maps by county.

        I know what’s coming in – and what hasn’t.

This is very bad news. With the counties reported so far, McCain needed a BIG (like 25-30 pts) cushion.

    • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

Lake County already reporting cheating. Pro Obama poll watchers letting Obama voters get in line over and over and over and over and vote. This was a place in the Primary where two AA Men sat on Lawn Chairs outside the voting place and TOLD ALL THE HILLARY VOTERS TO LEAVE. Nice, huh? Lake is part of our documentary. And Gary was full of Fraud and I suspect it is now too.

    • workingclass artist

If they are reporting Gary or Indianapolis first that’s why…Wait to see the rest of the state.

  • Dawnelle Leona del Puma

Yay Lindsey has kept his seat in SC

  • DeaninMi

CNN calls Vermont for Obama (with 0% reporting, go figure), and Kentucky for McCain (with actual numbers, surprisingly.)

    • Kal

gotta be fair and balanced, you know — one for McCain, one for BO

  • DERK

Machine cheater counties lmao i think You are just looking for a reason to recount roflmao.

    • Alice Severens

That’s completely what they are. St Joe (South Bend), Lake (Gary), Marion (Indianapolis), Monroe (IU) — I guarantee you the crooks are calculating how many fake votes they need to slip in for EO… and this rate, it won’t be many.

  • Dawnelle Leona del Puma

48 to 51 percent national popular vote so far to MACK!!!

    • http://johnmccain.com Galt’s free popcorn for all Mac supporters!

Things will go up and down tonight but in the end we will send Opampers packing to Rezko Manor where USA Fitzy will greet him.

What is amazing to me is how many totally braindead people there are in America that are voting for Opampers. But not enough will in key states.

    • McPalin

      nationwide
      52 MCCAIN
      47 Obama
Mac is slaughtering BO in N.H. :)

      • Nobama

I am not sure what you are talking about in NH. Are you joking?

  • DERK

popular vote only counts in brownie points electoral college is what matters

    • Shiloh

      but still good to see!

      • Dawnelle Leona del Puma

OH I know but the news earlier were saying how BHO would probably rack up a 3 million plus popular vote total and could barely eek by the electoral vote

looks like it may be the opposite!!!

You Repubs sure know how to come out the woodwork!

        YAY btw!

  • Dawnelle Leona del Puma

    whoa

I just saw something for FLA

    whoa

hey i love these early numbers

  • http://www.deathofthedemocraticparty.com xax

is there anyway to watch fox news live election coverage. All I can get is CNN and they are saying Big Mac is on “life support”. I do not want to watch them

    • Firefly

Fox ain’t much better – I think the way to go is to turn it on CNN or Fox or whatever, watch the numbers on the screen and turn off the sound.

    • Dawnelle Leona del Puma

      they LIE

not sure how maybe at their website?

I have a small tv in here where the puter is …. but I’m moving to the bigger tv soon!! ;-)

    • McPalin

      I’m on C-Span. No Spin.
      I like the call-ins.

  • Clara Barton

Remember, don’t pay attention to the exit polls.
Indiana is a nail-biter and Lake County will do whatever it takes, like they did with Hillary.

    • Andrew

Wait, some people are saying all the big counties have been counted and others are saying they haven’t. Which is it?

      • bemused

As said above, when they are counted the urban areas will tend to come first. Remember that will also be where AA votes are counted. CNN does have a good county map where you can see each county, and if you watch that when the actual votes come in, you will see exactly what I mean. You can wait until the county has about 50% total reported to decide if there is a trend or if it will be close. Don’t get excited until you see the black and white of the numbers.

        • bemused

Darn, I meant to say where AAs are concentrated, not counted. They are all counted. I mean that you can see the racial breakdown, practically, in the results–or could in the primaries.

  • Boxer Mum 06

    Oprah jinxes Obama from TMZ

Oprah Winfrey called into “The Ed Lover Show” on Power 105 this morning and confessed she already has a dress she picked out for Barack Obama’s inauguration. Counting your chickens before they hatch, O?

    • catherine

Maybe she can wear it for her wedding with Gayle.

    • Arabella Trefoil

First good thing Oprah has ever done. Her magazine is going kaput – sales numbers are in the shitter.

Also, Obama un-inivited all his celeb guests from his party tonight.

I have picked out an outfit for Obama: an orange jumpsuit. He’ll hate the federal penitentiary, but he’ll hate wearing PUMA orange even more.

      • beebop

He’ll have plenty of time to work out, though!! ;)

      • lisa in va

Also, Obama un-inivited all his celeb guests from his party tonight

What are you talking about? (Second time I read this here.)

      • heather

Did you hear what they said about why they didn’t want the stars there? They said because it should be “all about Obama” tonight and the stars would detract from that. His head is so big right now, it would be hard to see anything else.

      • http://rabblerouserruminations.blogspot.com Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy

Hey, Georgia Peach – did you see that 212,000 Georgians were also registered in either FL or OH, too? A few actually did vote in both states, too. THAT should be interesting to figure out, and to see what the final numbers are for the big cheaters!!

    • IndayHill

IF BHO,Jr. wins and Biden’s “Mark my words, in 6 months, Obama will be internationaly tested ” remarks, America should send first Oprah to the front line & be the target for the terrorits. Let her flex her might now and save the face of her idol.
      God Bless America !!!

    • Andrew

How well and are they counting the very black or densely populated regions? What is with Indiana. Scaring the crap out of me.

      • Alice Severens

Only South Bend in IN (McCain has cut the lead to 26 pts… bad… but not as bad as 30 pts).

Indy and Gary still COMPLETELY out. So is IU and Purdue.

Nope. I’ve read vile comments about Obama and his family on this blog and how the Repub operatives were going to dig up the dirt on Obama and sink his presidential hopes so I had to drop by tonight and read all your comments as you see Obama win the presidential race.

  • SensibleWomanNOTforBO

Just want to share what I find to be an interesting statistic about central MO.

Sarah Palin had a rally in Jefferson City, MO (MO state capital) yesterday morning. Attendance was approximately 15,000.

To put that into perspective, Jefferson City’s population is approximately 40,500 as of July of 2007 according to City-Data.com.

Granted I’m SURE many came from counties surrounding Jeff City, attendance of 15,000 is over 1/3 of the population of Jefferson City, MO.

    :-)

  • jj

Firefly…that’s exactly what I am doing. Watching Fox with the mute button on and blogging on NQ.

NC results will be coming in after 7:30

    • Firefly

Major Garrett on Fox, who’s been covering barky all this time, says they’re not confident about NC – AA turnout has been lighter than expected – good for our team! McCain will take it, IMO.

  • DERK

Msoandso i think you are a wonderful person and what im about to say is not intended to be offensive but r u on life support too? Go Obama/Biden

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

I can’t take the pressure! hahah

I am really bummed too, because I would like to be excited and appreciate the historical-ness of the first potential black president, but he has lied so many times, and his attacks and charges of racism, and the attacks launched by his nasty mean supporters just makes it impossible to even be excited about it.

    and that is sad.

    • Karma

I agree, the DNC, Obama, and his supporters have stolen the significance of the night for me also.

It is one of the worst things about all of this, besides the selection and subversion of democracy.

The loss of such an historical event.

  • Sarracuda

How is McCain doing in New Hampshire, someone here posted about McCain doing well over there??

    • Firefly

Last I looked 0bama had 36 votes, McCain had 12 or something – and they’re saying 67% for barky, 32% for Mac – hilarious!

  • Firefly

Anecdotal from a commenter at Hillbuzz:

I saw that 16% of Hillary voters are going for McCain in OH. I think it’ll be much higher. This is WAY better than I expected. McCain will have a huge advantage this election.

  • McPalin

    Mac won Kentucky

    • Arabella Trefoil

      Yee-ha!

  • Hope is the last to die

It doesn’t look too good for McCain to be honest. Obama wins the blue states with a WIDE margin and McCain is struggling in red states like Virginia.

Damn, if O wins, he’ll be the prez for 8 years. The frauds he arranged now are nothing compared to the ones he’ll be able to do as a president.

It’s a good thing I’ve begun to learn russian and chinese, because the heydays of the US are gone when Obama is the pilot.

    • http://www.hillaryorbust.com Hillary or Bust

I’m not worried about Obama winning by large margins in blue states. That doesn’t matter one bit.

I have lived in California for a long time and watched it go blue for the past two elections only to have a Republican win the White House.

What matters is who wins the swing states.

You got that right. Puerto Ricans usually vote Democrat. Cubans are hard core Repubs. I am a Puma in Miami and voted Rupublican all the way.

Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach will go to Obama. Let’s pray that the rest of the state goes for McCain. Kerry won the southern part of the state, but Bush won the rest last election.

Hopefully, the Cubans and the Jews will offset.

  • jj

I’m researching the huge chunk of votes Obama just received in Florida. It’s probably from the Jacksonville area….See what I can find out.

  • NoBama

The only guy I believe on Fox is Michael Barone and he just gave us bad news for Mac. Lets hope he is wrong.

  • DERK

im an independent who sees mccain as the wrong choice for our country judy especially with the empty headed vice presidential candidate SArah Palin Who believes it is ok to kill wolveswith gatling guns from helicopters so until he corrects the error in his judgement he will be utterly wrong about what is right for our country.

    • Nobama

Controlled kills are necessary. They had to cull deer in NW Indiana. While I hated it, sometimes it is important to do for the ecology of the area.

      • Arabella Trefoil

True. Their natural predators are gone.

      • beebop

If you ignore Jerk the Derk he will go away … or play with himself.

      • alexei

Deer are prey and have no predators since wolves have been eradicated in most states. That means that deer are overpopulated and starving.

Wolves are predators. They keep the prey numbers in balance and studies have proven that they do not depress the caribou or other prey. Unlike many human hunters, wolves cull the sick, old, infirm etc.

FWIW, I hope Obama loses, but, the wolf kill is terribly wrong for not only its cruelty, but, for the ecosystem.

    • Barry bums a ciggie

and hanging out with a washed up terrorist who dedicated his books to cop killers and sirhan sirhan is considered good judgment? Sitting in a church and hearing a hateful racist blame AIDS and 911 on our government is also good judgment? Doing a land deal with a slumlord who cheats tax payers money is also good judgment? Please, go deal with your women issue elsewhere ’cause it sounds like that is your problem. You can’t tell me Obama’s judgment in associating himself to these punks is the same as McCain’s judgment in choosing Palin.

    • lark

She also believes in cooking hamburgers in a wood burning stove so she contracted for a pipeline of timber from Alaska to run all the way to Florida.

    • Angel

The killing of wolves bothers you more than a presidential candidate who is on record for being the only one to vote 4 times against a bill providing medical assistance to infants born alive after a botched abortion? I guess I have a difficult time understanding the logic of that.

  • Nobama

They should be calling GA soon I believe

  • http://www.deathofthedemocraticparty.com xax

I don’t know where fox is getting that information from about FL. When you hit the link, only one district shows up and that’s eavy McCain.

  • misfit

    Where is Mark Levin?

  • Dark Knight

i am very concerned about florida. mccain can make up VA, but not FL

    • lark

Puertoricans probably voted for Obama so that the electric bills of islanders would triple over the extremely high rates they pay now. Obama will be sending Puertoricans in the island subsidies to every family to pay for electricity to run their refrigerators. Everything else will have to be disconnected.

  • DERK

this is not controlled killing it is a massacre?

    • lark

Controlled killing is more like eliminating all reporters that dare to denounce the Messiah.

  • shadow

It doesn’t look bad to me Andrew. It’s early yet.

    IN 51-48 McCain 20% in
    NC 51-48 Obama
    VA 57-42 McCain
    FL 56-44 Obama 3% in

    • Andrew

How much is in from NC and VA?

    • Andrew

Looks like Indiana is going for Obama. Some keep saying that the bad regions haven’t been counted yet and when they are, they will be devastating.

    • Barry bums a ciggie

what? I see 53-46 in FL for McCain on the interactive map on Fox…is that where everyone is getting their numbers?

    • FranSC

The first returns are from the inner cities and will be overwhelmingly for BO. The suburbs and rural areas will be later – these will be more reflective of the outcome. McCain will do much better in those groups.

Yep just opened up a point for Mac. :)

    • Nobama

Hopefully some of the northern counties have come in since they are mostly pro-Obama

  • jj

The big chunk of votes in Florida or Obama came from Miami-Dade county.

    • Dark Knight

is that a good or bad thing?

      • MG-PUMA

Well, its a predictable thing. Miami-Dade is made up of young Cuban-americans who generally do not have the same suspicion of Castro as the elder Cubans do.

Older Cubans tend to vote Repub and younger Cubans vote Dem.

  • http://johnmccain.com Galt’s free popcorn for all Mac supporters!

Hey everyone hang tight. Not too much longer before we get a feel for things.

    • lisa in va

Yeah, I’m getting the same feeling, but worse.

  • Nobama

I wouldn’t put a lot into the voting right now in FL. A bunch of the smaller counties have not come in. Miami shows Obama strong, but only 0% in so it is hard to say which precincts are in. I heard that the Latino vote there would be very strong for McCain

Guys, this is incredible. I am watching the Fox map at http://elections.foxnews.com/states_map/index.html. Great tool. IN, GA, FL, VA ALL swinging McCain. I think no blowout will happen tonight for Obambi! Woo hoo! Go PUMAs!

    • Nobama

You can’t tell anything yet. I mean SC is showing Obama ahead and they called it for McCain already. They must be using exit polls to call certain states.

      • Sarracuda

Exit polling probably. Very strange, of course, the media makes me sick anyway so I dont believe anything that comes out of their mouth. Isn’t SC Lindsey Graham’s home state

  • NoBama

NJ is closing in a few minutes. Lets see if its close at all.

  • Arabella Trefoil

My husband is out helping a buddy assemble a baby crib. As soon as he comes home I’m spending some quality time with my man and leave this stuff alone for a while.

My husband is baffled by all the baby paraphenalia is friend has to get for his new arrival. He’s charmingly clueless about babies.

  • LilRod

North Carolina has not been called yet for either candidate..less than 1% reporting

    • FranSC

No WAAAAAAY will Obama win NC! Lived there many years. It is a high A-A voter registration state, but is always completely overwhelmed by the republican on-slaught. Should there be an upset, we can all pack it in.

  • JiffyJML

    LOL, a funny:

I heard the Obama campaign was making a plea for last-minute volunteers to GOTV. Well, they are wasting their time in Ohio. Polls closed here at 7:30. At 7:44 p.m. I got a robocall from “Barack Obama” himself, telling me I had a few more hours left still to get out and vote.

    LMAO.

    • Arabella Trefoil

Yes, I heard that too. I think their GOTV effort for newly registered voters lagging badly. By midday they were trying to get ahold of anybody at all to come and work the phones.

Their Florida GOTV for newly registered voters was especially in need of help.

    • OBushMa

  • Alice Paul WPB

Can someone who knows more than me explain how they can call a state like South Carolina for McCain (not that I’m complaining) when BO has more votes right now and only like a few percent is in?

Just reported on Fox. I just don’t understand how that works.

    • Shiloh

Because of the precincts that the votes came from.

    • Nobama

Exit polls. If they indicate the republican ahead then you can probably call it.

    • wodiej

they must be using exit polling. I thought the same thing and that seems to be a risky way of calling a race especially when there is a 10% spread. But these polls are not very reliable.

  • shadow

    VA 56-43 McCain 14% in
    FL 57-42 Obama 11%
    NC 61-39 Obama <1%

NC doesn’t even have the urban areas in yet. With Dole doing so poorly, that may show McCain may not do so well either.

I agree. The panhandle has not come in yet. Look at Ohio…Cleveland is pretty much all that has come in yet, but damn…the margin for Obama is huge there right now

Firefly, I pray you are right. I can not see how Obama wins PA massively??? It just is not adding up!

I agree with Hillbuzz. Look how crooked the MSM has been so far. They have nothing to lose. We already know they are criminals.

Probably the big cities exit polled (Philly, Pittsburgh) and the MSM’s blowing it out of proportion as usual.
