Here’s the original from OMEGAjazzRADIO, below:

What is it about that song and her “act”? Wow.

Keep it coming!

  • Sarracuda

Yeah it’s over, the polls were right all along

    • destardi

SeanMalstrom PREDICTED PA would be called for uhbama from the get-go, but says it will go to McCain.

      http://seanmalstrom.wordpress.com/

      • waldenpond

Someone from PA noted that northern PA is not yet in and it is the area that favors O. Looks like PA will go O. If the big cities are out, it will shift more to O.

If VA goes to O, give O CA,OR and WA … and that’s enough delegates with the states Fox has already called for O.

  • Cullen

Why on earth can the networks show results based on exit polls?

Doesn’t anybody remember anything from the last two elections?

    Gah.

    • Kato

I don’t know why they’re allowed to do this. Official results can’t be released until ALL polls are closed. These projections are based on:
      1. number of precincts reported,
      2. total number of votes in those precincts,
      3. some formula they’ve decided on to determine how those people voted.
      4. there is ONE company that is doing a lot of the projections for several networks.

For those of you who realize how biased the media is, you really shouldn’t let any of this dishearten you. Wait for the real results, not the projections.

      • FranSC

Kato, I think you are right. After all they have done to skew this election so far, why would the MSN’s of the cable world try to be careful, honest and fair NOW. After not winning GA, they are saying Obama now has to win all the battlegrounds left. Tall order even for “THE ONE”.

    • Elizabeth

Total credulity. It’s what keeps the mighty media machine alive…

Don’t even need to go back four years. Remember exit polls were WAY OFF in the primaries, especially Super Tuesday !!

    • lark

Is simple. They have a accuracy rate in which they compare the percent difference between the exit poll and the actual precinct results, even using small numbers. Once the accuracy rating is established they can project with a degree of certainty.

What cannot be projected with any degree of certainty is how much of a secret communist will BO turn to be.

      • Undercover

With all due respect, lark, I think Obama is smart enough to realize that, if he wins by having campaigned as a centrist (not a leftist “progressive”), he must therefore govern from the center.

If not, he’ll go the way of Jimmy Carter.

        • WildChild

Interesting, so expanding George Bush’s faith based give aways is a centrist position.

        • wry

Jimmy Carter without the ethical compass. Yikes

          • Ferd McBerfle

And without executive or military experience.

        • LisaB

No. Bush barely won and yet governed from the far right. There’s no reason to think BO would care about anyone but the far left. He’s never shown an aability to lead from the center.

          • Ferd McBerfle

Oblockhead only cares about himself. He wraps himself up in “change” but sells himself to the highest bidder, e.g., telecoms and his FISA vote. He encompasses the worst of both extremes and is one dangerous NPD.

            • Undercover

But say this for him, Ferd: They called him “Muslim,” they called him “Arab,” they called him “socialist,” they called him “Marxist,” they called him “thug,” they called him “thief,” they called him “fraud,” they called him “baby-killer”… some even called him the Antichrist. And he never lost his cool.

He kept his eye on the goal. He ran a political campaign that will be studied evermore for its stragetic vision and disciplined execution.

Maybe, just maybe, he will govern competently.

          • Undercover

Lisa, if you think Bush was “far right,” you don’t understand conservatism. True right-wingers (like Pat Buchanan) weren’t down with the war in Iraq. And they certainly weren’t down with ballooning the deficit and growing the federal government.

            • Ferd McBerfle

Bush is a neocon, which is neither new nor conservative.

            • WildChild

bush was an evangelic conservative. He was so far right that he dragged the country into the abyss. It’s only the snap back from his fringe right failure that made it possible for a nobody like jelloman: BOBO the magnificent, to get where he is today.

    • Anne

Recall in 2004 how the networks “adjusted” their exit poll data during the evening to support the real results? I was suspicious at the time and now I realize that the exit polls were skewed toward Democrats, me being one. Are they doing this this time? No, they are in the tank.

  • drmilak

eff you! there, now i feel better.

  • NoBama

Indiana will be tight. May decide this election if it turns to Obama.

    • Andrew

I think it will and I think Florida and North Carolina will too. It’s just our bad luck. Life sucks.

      • oowawa

No, life is good. It just has its ups & downs. Learn to say “Oh well” and really mean it. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

        • http://www.jack-mifflin/blogspot.com J.M.

Nope, but I’ll bet every penny I have that 2012 will bring a right-wing president in a landslide.

      • lark

        Life sucks.

Not yet. It will suck pretty good about this time next year.

    • Elle

I am confindent Indiana will go to McCain.

      • Andrew

What about North Carolina and Florida?

      • Alice Severens

        Not me.

I have a spreadsheet of results by county by 2000 and 2004 – and EO is WAY over-performing. By 20-25 pts in some places.

Bush won Vigo county by 7. EO is winning it by 15.

Bush won St Joe by 4. EO is winning it by 17.

There is no good news in Indiana. I don’t think I have found a single county yet where McCain is within 10 pts of what Bush scored.

  • ame

Well I guess everyone was fine with the hate spewing Reverend Wright.

  • hadenough

Polls closings across the country (Eastern time):
    8:30: AR

  • Sarracuda

We will see what Obama does for us in 4 years, then we will throw his ass out of office. Disgusting how people were so stupid to vote for this guy. Bush was the #1 reason why McCain lost, people hate Bush, people want to see what the Democrats can do, and there ya go, so good, the economy will tank, unemployment will skyrocket, coal goes bye bye, and then people will see what a disgrace Obama is

    • lark

Some damage may be irreversible, that is it will take two generations to reverse.

  • Nobama

Even though my feelings against Obama are strong, I am willing to give him a chance if he wins. I could not understand how George W could have been prez, let alone for a second term.

    • Undercover

Good on you, Nobama. I hope Barack can come close to living up to the expectations he has raised.

      • lark

For most pathological liars, only bankruptcy provides a valid answer.

  • Alice Severens

    Oh well.

I’m big enough to admit when I am wrong, and it’s now pretty obvious that I was wrong in thinking Obama would be an electoral disaster for the Democrats. I tried my best to make it happen – I spent every single weekend in IN – but I guess the country is stupid.

    • Nobama

I agree, the country is stupid. I believe that many people vote for themselves. If they think that they will get money/tax cuts then they do it. They could care less about the national debt and who has the economic plan supported by more economists.

I just wish people were better informed.

      • Alice Severens

free money always wins, I guess

        • Ferd McBerfle

Money won’t do much good when it has no worth and everyone is brought down in line with the lowest common denominator instead of being able to rise up above it.

    • lark

We want to be like those other countries all around us we always said were under us.

    • WildChild

I was watching the tube this evening and it was reported on MSNBC that the BOBO has essentially set it up so that he isn’t beholden to the democratic party for anything if he wins. This means that BOBO is setting himself up to be a DINO. This could set the stage for some epic battles between him and the democratic congress if he wins. The good news of that is if he decides to be the precious and go it alone, suddenly the democratic party might remember that he voted for bush’s telecom inmunity, and wanted to expand bush’s faith based giveaways and used bush’s supply side arguments to defeat his democratic opponents. The precious might end up not looking so precious.

If you are interested, you can watch C-Span online here:

    http://www.guardatv.it/country/4#

I am connected to C-Span 1. I think these people are serious.

  • LilRod

Most people do not follow the nitty gritty truth about most candidates..they vote party first..or are most just empty headed followers

  • Hope is the last to die

By the way, will this site be shut when Obama wins? We know how he loves the freedom of speech.

  • Andrew

Is there any chance that McCain can win?

    • BJ

if he does the obambi bots will riot in the streets like in the 60′s when they burned everything and broke in store windows and walked the streets with stolen tv’s…

and if we complain, we’ll be called racists-

    • bemused

Yes. Up until the day the President is inaugurated, things can change. :) And even if Mac loses, it will not be the end of everything, but your obot classmates unfortunately may not be good winners. I see this as the worst-case for you in the immediate future, and as I feel it is prudent to prepare for all contingencies, your best act would be go to school, so no one can say you’re chicken, and have a few good replies ready for the various things they might say. How people win and how they lose is one of those big character features that are worth noticing.

  • jmm

What happened to the PUMAs in PA? Bustards.

    • FranSC

The Hillary supporters divided their votes between McCain, writing in Hillary, and staying home. Some of us tried to tell them the ONLY way to stop Obama was to vote for McCain. Tough lesson.

  • Rico

Hillary supporters in Pennsylvania broke 81% for Obama, 19% for McCain, according to Fox News.

    Fair and Balanced?

    • Elle

This should mean the scale tips to Macs territory.
Can not believe the call on exit polls only.
This has proven a mess before.

  • NoBama

GA to Mccain- the old geez is holding on.

  • jj

    Georgia goes for McCain!!!!

    • stefystef

McCain won GA? There is still hope…

Remember people, the MSM is trying to make Obama the winner, the same they did with Bush in 2000 and 2004.

The night is still young… Watch NJ and CT (see what could be the Liebermann effect).

      • waldenpond

NJ and CT already called for O.

  • Sarracuda

4 years of pure hell..people want change, they don’t give a damn about experience, change change change, do they not realize what Change obama is gonna bring is NOT the change they want

    • jbjd

      Hell.

The only consolation for me is that, when I ask BO supporters why he is their choice, they still can only say, hope and change. When it comes to his actual record, in both the Illinois state senate and the U.S. Senate; his refusal to release records from Occidental, Columbia, or Harvard; his refusal to release his medical records; the questions as to his eligibility under Article II and his refusal to release his birth certificate; his financial dealings with Rezko, Blackwell, and Davis; and so many other aspects of his life, they don’t know what I am talking about.

So, it’s not necessarily the case that all of the people who voted for BO are anti-Semitic corrupt racist America haters. It’s just that, absent a functional press, they were too lazy to do the research on their own.

      • lark

Obama promised 10 times more benefits than McCain. And young people were hooked by his promise of ending the war by the end of 2009.

He will loose the support of 90 pc of the Democratic party in 6 months. Everyone really hates him but are afraid of doing so before today. He will be isolated. But he will find good allies in the Russians and the Chinese, plus a good friend in Chavez.

        • Tricia

He will now be investigated after the honeymoon and the public that voted for him will say WTF

          • lark

That too. Now the race is for the Pulitzer Prize and other prizes journalist dream off.

  • BJ

    testing ? 1 2 3 … posts not showing ? :(

    • BJ

how funny… I just came online 10 mins ago.. my few posts oddly are not in this thread anywhere.. but you allowed this one to show?

where are my posts? none of them were inappropriate?

  • LilRod

If we do end up with President Obama…I am hoping for Hillary to be in the inside of the Administration..perhaps as Secretary of State..to have someone that KNOWS how things do work and with KNOWLEDGE to offset this unprepared unqualified empty suit IN THE MOST POWERFUL JOB ON EARTH

    • Sarracuda

Obama didn’t even consider her for VP, what makes you think he is gonna have her as secretary of state

      • Rico

I’m still holding out for Clinton on SCOTUS.

        • George Smathers

She would never get confirmed even on an outside chance of being nominated. She has no judicial experience. She best serves in the Senate for now.

          • Rico

Dude, the dems will have 55-57 senators…she could get confirmed comfortably. She is clearly qualified, just not in the same way as the judges currently on the bench. Many would say that her policy experience gives her a unique perspective.

          • FranSC

I prefer that Hillary not do anything that helps bring success for this most unqualified potential president this country has ever had. She helped him become a better candidate. Someone suggested today on Fox she may become BO’s antaganist from his own party in the Senate, holding his feet to the fire on what he has promised to do. I like that position for her better.

      • Kal

Yes. Can’t you tell he really can’t stand women? The only ones he has ever spoken of without contempt are his spouse and daughters. He even dissed his recently-deceased grandmother to make a political point. A racist one.

        • misfit

Just drives me nuts how the only women he seems to feel have rights are his own wife and daughters.

    • http://N/A breeze

If Obama wins, Hillary will be

      OUT OF SIGHT

      AND OUT OF MIND,

UNDER THE BUS LIKE A USED OLD SHOE…

      • Joy

No Hillary will be controling the Senate and not a bill gets through if she does not want it to. Obama will need her more than ever as POTUS.

        • Rico

Agreed, Obama will need Hillary, and she’ll be there for him.

        • gregoryp

No way. She will be completely and I mean completely cut out of the loop. She may as well be an independent or a republican at this point. I will be utterly shocked if she is allowed to get any kind of leadership position. With an Obama victory and a demcoratic supermajority she is completely marginalized. None of her ideas, none of her causes will be dealt with except negatively.

    • makeji

Hillary caved – why are you still supporting her? She went against everything she believed in to campaign for that creep.

    • stefystef

Obama would NEVER have a Clinton in his administration.

It’s not over yet… don’t believe the MSM hype.

      • Rico

Obama absolutely would have a Clinton in his cabinet…maybe Bill, though.

      • MAC ATTACK

I’ll even bet Obama will make sureee she loses in NY next time up..!!

    • lark

Hillary will be one of the first to lead the opposition to Obama from the Senate.

  • jj

    McCain is winning in Michigan!!!!

    • Andrew

      What? Are you lying?

      • Barry bums a ciggie

        yes

    • Sarracuda

Are you joshing me, no way

    • Andrew

      SERIOUSLY: ARE YOU LYING?

    • Nobama

Duh…just wait until Detroit comes in. If McCain cannot win in PA and it is this close in IN, then I seriously doubt he would win in MI. As much as I would hope

    • cookiegramma

No reason to despair yet, not one of the states is reporting 50% of the vote counted. So McCain ahs not been given Pa, but the polls have been wrong before. We can hope at least.

    • makeji

They have called Michigan and PA for Obama.

  • Hope is the last to die

At this point I wouldn’t mind a certain Clinton losing her senate seat aswell..

    • hadenough

She is not up for re-election. Is beloved in the state. Hers as long as she wants it.

  • NoBama

i think Florida will be close and Mac can win there. So he will have to hold VA, NC in the east and take Ohio. Then he will need CO, NM, NV.

    • makeji

They have called NM for Obama.

  • beachnan

I can’t bear to watch anything. Are these actual numbers, or are they going strictly by exit polls?

    • gregoryp

Strictly exit polls. My state only has the early voting tabulated. MSM are full of shit and trying to sucker people on the west coast into changing their vote or not voting at all.

  • LilRod

    McCain wins GA

Reps hold on to two of the toss up states so far

  • hadenough

msnobama has lost whatever fucking marbles they might have had. They called PA with 0% reporting. Amazing.

    • Undercover

Fox News called Pennsylvania for Obama 20 minutes ago.

  • WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName

He will NEVER be my president. I am switching my party affiliation to Republican for good. I’ve found out through all this that I’m much more conservative than I knew. The Democratic party is dead.

I will go back to my business and my life and work to make life good for my family.

    • LilRod

I am registering as Independent after 36 years as a Democrat

      • ame

I became an Independent after the Democratic Party dumped Hillary.

    • lark

In nine months, Democrats will hate Obama, Obama will hate the American people and he will unleash the furry of the Administration against everything in sight.

      • WildChild

I’m not so sure about that last part. The precious needs to be loved. If he loses our love he’ll turn into our poodle and keep stealing the neighbors papers for us until the stack is so high out front that we can’t leave the driveway.

  • Brian_C82

There are still a lot of ways McCain can win or tie this up. If McCain can hold the southern states, OH, and IN, then all he needs is CO to get a 269-269 tie. If he loses NC, then he will need a bunch of western states. If he loses Florida, he’s pretty much screwed.

    • andrew191

Ne could get an electoral vote from Maine, the tie breaker.

  • northern european

Florida looks closer now 51% to 48% Obama but I think McCain will take it

  • McKatmoon

Funny, not one regular NQ poster throwing in the towel, I think regardless of what the msm wants to count, most of us will wait for the votes not the polls; you people on here are trying to stir it like usual, it’s going to be a long night, a television station does not call the election, votes are counted, not exit polls, so hang on regulars and there is no giving it up yet, 2004, and 2000 weren’t that long ago, you would have thought the msm would have known better.

    • lisa in va

I don’t understand why people are giving up. They can’t be regulars here. I don’t recognize over half the names.

I don’t believe the exit polls & until I hear the announcements from each states election board, I won’t believe it.

      • mimi

I’m a regular! PA did it for me! That the voters in that state still voted for 0bama is unbelievable.

But it’s not just the Presidential race. The Dems are picking up Senate seats. So that means the Dems will be in power. So nothing we were trying to do will happen.

Face it, Donna Brazile was right: it’s a new Democratic Party.

And one that I am no longer a member of.

        • gregoryp

          Neo-liberals = Neo-Cons.

Same fucking people. Just used a different fucking party to maintain power. The bad thing is that the American electorate is so stupid they fell for it. One step closer to total fascism.

      • Alice Severens

        Then be crazy.

I don’t know about you, but I worked my ass off in Indiana. And I can read RESULTS – not exits – RESULTS.

I spent time in 4 different IN counties working for McCain. I figured EO would be closer than Bush in 2000 and 2004 — but I have a sheet of numbers I thought we needed to hit. We didn’t hit them.

FWIW, I will never give EO the benefit of the doubt, but I will hope that I am wrong about him.

  • Newly Independent

OK – have the Obama trolls hijacked the regular NQ posters’ names????

    • ame

I noticed that too. What’s going on?

    • McKatmoon

No shit newly, you gotta wonder!
MAybe some are showing true colors.

    • MG-PUMA

Not my username. I’m still me. :)

      MG-PUMA

PUMA’s: Do Not believe exit polls. Thank you :)

    • McPalin

yes—it seems names have been hijacked.

  • pal3

All the anti-Obama websites and Obama’s haters (including me) will need to go into hiding now. He had his minions go after people that did not agree with him. Now that he will become President, he’s going to put together a task force and take us all out.

  • Nobama

CO is what I am most worried about. No sure if McCain would win there

    • Barry bums a ciggie

I’m from here and I’m not sure he can pull it off either–but then again, I’m surrounded by a sea of barry signs so I’m a bit pessimistic about it. However, prop 48 is winning which is a pro-lilfe amendment…so, that had me scratching my head a bit.

      • gregoryp

Obama supporters aren’t really liberal. They care more for authoritarian messiah bullshit than they do about issues, integrity and honor. How else can anyone rationalize voting for a pathological liar like Obama or Bush?

  • Elle

Mac is up in Michigan and the fact that they did not project on exit polling ,I dare to hope for a miracle there .

  • Nobama

Florida is going to be close. When you look at the counties going heavy for McCain, only a small % of the results are in yet. I am hopeful there.

    • WestPalm2008

Have Palm Beach, broward, and Miami-Dade come in yet? THOSE are the biggies.

      • northern european

Md to Obama by 100,000 and Palm Beach by 50,000 so far

  • Sarracuda

I would think that since McCain took 19 percent of hillary supporters in PA that he could win the state

    • Boxer Mum 06

I just can’t believe this is true. The numbers have to be wrong or the voting was fixed. I guess the Black Panthers made sure there is a black president afterall. I’m sorry to be a downer but I’m in complete shock right now. I think I’m going to go to bed and hope when I wake up it will have all been a nightmare and McCain will have won. I thought my fellow PA folks were smarter than that and would have voted for a hero and not Obama an empty, lying suit.

Maybe I’ll quit my job, cash out my 401k and become a Yes We Can zombie .. at least until 2012.

  • NoBama

Bush won twice without PA–Mac needs OH, NC, VA, MO, CO,NV to win and all red Bush states.

  • misfit

It will be very interesting to see how many women are in the Obama cabinet. My guess is none in the top tier. He talks about thanking Hillary for putting cracks in the glass ceiling–in 20 year when his daughters are in the work force. What about now? I want to see women marching on Washington during the Obama presidency, demanding his support for women’s rights.

    • Kal

You got that wrong. He says he’s glad about all those cracks in the glass ceiling because he wants his daughters to have equal opportunities. And I think he quite literally means ‘his daughters’ as in ‘and no other women.’

That’s the kind of guy he seems to be about women.

      • misfit

I agree with you. I am reading a book about the Iranian Islamic revolution where women were forced to wear the veil. That’ll be us–all except his wife and daughters.

      • MG-PUMA

“…And I think he quite literally means ‘his daughters’ as in ‘and no other women.”

        I so agree.

        MG-PUMA

    • mimi

Not to me. Any women he chooses will be token and Botheads.

      The man hates women!

      • It’s Not Me

He really does hate women and THAT is what angers me so much about MY husband voting for that SOB. There’s going to be a lot of friction in my home for a LONG, LONG time.

Not only does BO hate women, but that rat basta*d painted Bill and Hill as racists and I will never forgive him for that. My husband who professed to LOVE Bill and Hill still voted for the asshole. I am so mad. My own RABID “feminist” sister voted for BO!

I am just so disgusted right now. I think I need a stiff drink. :(

  • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

Why give up? Way too early for that. Communist News Network and MSNOBZO are full of it. Let’s hang in there.

  • Linda

It’s way toooo early to predict what’s going to happen. We all knew the MSM would call this for Obama early! So why is everyone so upset? Let’s just go with the flow and see what happens.

  • VRWC – Is it true? Dept.

Exactly at 9:00ET they will call NY for obama. Who’d a think it.

Per live blog on Direct TV:

“Chuck Todd say Obama has yet to flip a red state”

Its going to be a long night.

Notice how they won’t call a state for McCain.

What do the Penn tallies look like so far?

    • hadenough

CNN projects that Barack Obama wins Pennsylvania.

      2% reporting.

  • cookiegramma

There is one thing I heard the people on Fox talking about that makes me wonder about any of these calls so far. They were talking about the exit polls and the WPI being vastly different in Pa. They said that the Obama pollsters… I don’t know at this point how this will go. This will be a long night if that is the case, things could change even in states that have been called.

The philly votes are a little funny….not literally…

      • Boxer Mum 06

how the fuck did Nader get like 40% of the vote in Philadelphia County and McCain get .5%?

This whole thing just stinks with fraud! They are calling this state and many of the counties have not even been reported yet like Chester, Montgomery, etc..

I still don’t believe the PA going to Obama.

        • Boxer Mum 06

I just checked again and they flipped the Nader votes in Phila county to McCain and now Obama leads in Berks when a minute ago McCain was winning. This is enough to give you a heart attack. I refuse to look anymore.

For those not familiar with PA. Until Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, Chester counties votes come in – it’s an open game. DO NOT BELIEVE OBAMA HAS WON PA YET! Not until these votes come home.

On another note, very very said to see that the rednecks, racists in Murtha’s district voted for Obama and him no doubt. I can’t believe people would vote for someone that insulted them and said they would bankrupt coal which is huge to the economy in many of the counties.

          • It’s Not Me

I think the coal mine bankruptcy issue came out too late. If McCain could have hammered that home for a week or 2, he may have been able to change some minds.

    • It’s Not Me

In 2000, the networks called Florida for Gore and had to take it back. They forgot Jeb Bush was the Governor and was going to steal it for his brother. Yes. They call states wrong and it can change.

    • Newly Independent

      He didn’t.

The MSM’s skating on exit polling in PA – NOT the real vote counts.

Only a secretary of state can call a state. It has to be certified. Exit polling doesn’t mean jack.

  • Sarracuda

McCain reminded too many people of Bush, all Obama had to do was say McCain=Bush and he wins. It’s disgusting and horrifying what we will have to live with for 4 years, I bet when we are attacked by Iran, or some other islamic country, Obama will be thrown out of office, I doubt this guy lasts 6 months in office. McCain did everything all wrong, his campaign was horrendous, I called them everyday giving them advice, it was like talking to 3 years olds over there, they had no clue about ANYTHING. They could have brought up Wright, Flager, Farrakhan, Rezco, Ayers much more, they could have demanded the LA Times tape but NOPE, they didn’t do a damn thing because they were afraid of being called racist and it cost them the election

    • Steve1

They should have talked about Larry Sinclair, his drug dealing, his trip to Pakistan, demanded his BC? His call for higher taxes, They should runned videos of Wright, Ayers, every day. Instead they played it like affirmative action?

    • ame

Yup…that sounds about right. The average American doesn’t really follow politics that close. That’s why “hope” and “change” works so well. It’s simple.

I can’t WAIT until all of the LOSERS who rushed out to vote for this freak realize that they aren’t getting their handout and free ride. Obama never planned that. He’s about himself. He will ignore his voters and boy will that be ugly. I am getting the hell out of here. Like I said, America left me, not the other way around. If and when some decency, dignity, intelligence, grace and civilization comes back, and some fiscal responsibility, then I will return. Until then the US of Cuba can BITE ME.

Dick Morris reports: One thing is clear at this point: The polls were wrong!!!

Obama may still win but he is not winning by the margins the polls predicted.

In state after state, it is obvious that McCain is doing better than he was predicted to do.

The exit polls also appear to be wrong.

Until we see how McCain does in North Carolina and Florida (he has to win both to win the election). We cannot see how the race will go nationally.

But it is clear that this is no blowout as the polls had predicted.

I can’t believe how many of Hillary’s supported didn’t have the guts to stay the course.

You know in Virginia just today McCain brought a court action because military absentee ballots have not arrived in time to be counted. Newport News, Va Beach and Chesapeake have a huge amount of military personnel. Of course things will be tight, BO and Axelrod stoled the nomination from Hillary and the FBI raided 13 offices of Acorn just in the past 2 weeks. The question is “can he steal the General Election like he stoled the caucuses?” The media has covered up criminal acts by this nothing, they have lied, and they have smeared innocent people for their Messiah. They have said “Give us Barabbas” the liar and the thief but it’s not over and there is a true and real higher power. The obots don’t believe that because they have lived in a cultural and moral wilderness where the only thing they care about is “getting their mortgage and their gas and their food paid for” by someone else. They hate Bush so much that they’ll put someone lese in there that’s so much worse. Hang in there.

Obama will take away all of the money we have worked so hard to earn and give it to people who sit on the behinds all day expecting a handout! Sucks that your small business that you worked so hard to create, you will either have to let employees go or shut down the business. It sucks, it really does, that so many sheep were coersed by the media into voting for Obama. I tell ya, if McCain had gotten the same love from the press as Obama McCai would have won this election in a landslide, I already changed my party affiliation from Democrat to Republican, now let’s see what the republican party does, and I swear, if they blame Sarah for what happened here I am done with them too. I already told them so, because Sarah busted her ass off for McCain, McCain’s nail in the coffin was when the economy went downhill, before that he was leading in the polls, the second the stock market went down that was it, that was the TRUE October surprise, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dems weren’t involved in bringing it down so that McCain would lose I wouldn’t put it past them. And Pennsylvania, I am really SHOCKED at them, Obama calls them bitter clingers, Murtha calls them racist, and they still vote for Obama, fuckin morons, and Michigan and Florida, Obama didn’t even want their votes to court yet they STILL vote for him, people are just sick. I can’t wait to leave, the American people have failed me, and I never thought i would say that, I love this country and I choose to fight for it, but damn, this just makes me sick

There has got to be something fishy about Bobo winning PA. He’s cheated and finagled his way into every political office he’s held. According to CSPAN, VA is really close.
They are calling PA with only 20% precincts coming in and they are probably the Philadelphia region. Not even looking at the Republican counties.

The MSM wants Obama to win.

  • SJ

Oh well guess this is a lesson for some of us, where are all the loyal Hillary democrats that swore to not vote for Obama, sure does not seem that way in some of these states when you look at the numbers.

I guess the got up this morning and voted party because of Hillary and Bill, I just hope Obama rewards the Clintons now for all their hard work.

As for the media this is what they wanted so I wonder now if for the next four years they will sit on all the stories on Obama, if we will never uncover the real story of what and where he went when he was young, if he will always be the President that we know nothing about.

As for race relations in this country, I really hope that because of this some feel they have arrived and need others to now take a back seat as Barack told them that “their time has come”, I hope the Black Panthers now don’t feel they can rise again, and all radical now feel that they are free to say as they please.

As for our military get use to it because you will have to wave the white flag of surrender and return home, defeated while the Muslim world snickers as you leave in disgrace. Tonight am sad for my country but I do feel we are now facing the most difficult four years in her history.

    • stefystef

Yes — here’s some sanity from a guy who has been watching elections for a very long time — from the link above — Marston Chronicles

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE EXIT POLLS AS THEY HAVE THE SAME FLAWS AS REGULAR POLLS. THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS NOW IS THE ACTUAL VOTE TALLIES IN THE BATTLEGROUND STATES.

Remember that the eastern time zone states come in first. Florida and Virginia must go for McCain-Palin or they lose. If they carry Pennsylvania, they are assured of winning. New Hampshire and the one vote in Maine are bonuses. If either of them or both of them come in, there will be a McCain-Palin landslide for sure. There is no point in staying glued to a biased media. Even Fox is expecting an Obama-Biden landslide so they will present anything that backs up their expectations.

He’s still calling the race for McCain, and he’s staking his 45 year reputation of calling elections.

These are network projections, not actual voting results. Think.

    i’m sorry, i can’t seem to make a link. ARGH. anyway, it’s marstonchronicles.info

he’s the only one keeping me sane through all of this. otherwise i’d be spewing carotid artery fluid right about now.

    keep the faith!!

Folks, these are not polling results. They are network projections. Many of the networks use the same company to do the projections. These projections are based on:

(CNN) — To project elections, CNN and its election experts use scientific statistical procedures to make estimates of the final vote count in each race. CNN will broadcast a projected winner only after an extensive review of data from a number of sources.

CNN editorial policy strictly prohibits reporting winners or characterizing the outcome of a statewide contest in any state before all the polls are scheduled to close in every precinct in that state.

CNN will receive information from the following sources:

The Associated Press: The Associated Press will provide vote totals for each race. The AP will be gathering numbers via stringers based in each county or other jurisdiction where votes are tabulated.

Edison Media Research: To assist CNN in collecting and evaluating this information, CNN, the other television networks and The Associated Press have employed Edison Media Research (EMR). In previous elections, this firm has assisted CNN in projecting winners in state and national races. EMR will conduct exit polls, which ask voters their opinion on a variety of relevant issues, determine how they voted, and ask a number of demographic questions to allow analysis of voting patterns by group.

Using exit poll results, scientifically selected representative precincts, vote results from The AP, and a number of sophisticated analysis techniques, EMR also recommends projections of a winner for each race it covers.

They don’t release the official results until ALL polls are closed…that means Hawaii and Alaska. They also don’t announce official results until all the absentee type of ballots are counted unless it’s a landslide one way or the other.

Have a glass of wine, sit back, get a good nights rest and wait until the morning.

    If you’re out west:

    GO VOTE!

Don’t let anything you’re seeing dissuade you from voting. Everything we’re seeing is the product of the media (and we’ve seen how biased they are), nothing else.

  • Athena the Warrior

C’mon everyone buck up!!!!!!!!! Both Ohio and PA are still in play. Only about 8% of the votes have been counted in both states. AP is the one calling PA. Think about it: It’s only 6:20pm on the West Coast, the polls are still open. They’re just trying to depress the voters.

    DON’T LET THEM!!!

THIS WILL TAKE ALL NIGHT, STAY STRONG!!!!!

    • JustMe

yes this is what they said they will call it for O to put the west coast off voting!!

    • hilldemgoneindie

yeah, and the ap is a big stinkin’ pile of donkey dung as evidenced in the primaries. it ain’t over until that fat cow brazille sings.

      Acceptance

    • WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName

That’s the spirit Andrew! We will survive and we will go on…no matter what the outcome of this election. I think we have all learned a lot about ourselves in this process…and hopefully we have all grown from it.

    • Andrew

Did everyone just leave the blog? Very quiet. Sounds like resignation. As of now, I don’t really care. It’s over, we tried our best, now let’s look ahead. Incidentally, does anyone know if the Repubs were able to stave off a 60 Dem Senate?

      • bemused

        Andrew, hang in there.

Never too late to drink the Kool-Aid, Andrew. Here… I stirred up a fresh batch. (Mmmm… purple!)

      • trixta

Let’s put some arsenic in the kool-aid and just get it over with a la jim jones!

    • J.J. (The PUMA)

I don’t feel as bad either as I thought.

First, you have to feel really happy for our African American brothers and sisters.

Second, you have to feel proud that we live in a country where the people rule.

Third, look how close Jonnie Mac came in the popular vote. That was the PUMA’s and the Sarah Palin fan club that did it.

      • Andrew

I feel the same way. Plus, we get to rub it in their faces when things go bad.

  • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

Everyone RELAX…One way or another OBAMA WILL NEVER RUN THIS COUNTRY. We have until January for the Inauguration. Many things will happen before then. I know God loves this country. I know it. And I meant what I said that when I wake up tomorrow, if the Devil wins, then I do what I can to right the wrong. And I have a lot of people with me on that. We WILL get rid of him, through the courts, etc. It will happen.

  • ame

Will some of the dirt finally come out? That will be gradifying if it does. I’d like to see the msm have egg on their face.

  • hadenough

If OH and PA stick that is bad news.

  • Rosemary

PA and OH are BHO now
Looks like Va will go BHO too… they are waiting on Arlington County which is heavy dem. I live in Loudoun.. we are republ mostly

    I am going to bed.
    I am soooo depressed.
I am flying my flag up side down
    I love all of you
Thanks for being here through all of this since day one

Now lets get working on getting this guy out of the WH

  • Jim S

McCain just said that he didn’t care what the polls are saying, that their pools show different numbers and he’s not giving up until all the votes are counted. Don’t expect a concession speech tonight.

That said, I’m looking at North Carolina where Mac is trailing and I find myself not even remotely surprised. Way to many northerners living there, screwing up a once great state. You know it’s screwed up when they ask you if you want sugar in your iced tea.

    • WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName

Yeah, here in GA we don’t even know what “iced” tea is…it’s sweet tea to us.

      • Joy

Honey in the real south there is only one kind of tea and it is with ice and sugar. No one in the real south including Oklahoma and Texas ask for iced tea or sweet tea they just ask for tea period.

Here’s what was stated by the pundits last night and this morning: 4 States — Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Mac needs those to win.

They never mentioned Ohio and PA. No way was PA EVER going red anyway.

Now, get a hold of yourselves and let’s see this thing through, shall we? Thank you.

  • Patience

At this point in PA, only about 22% of the districts have reported. Here’s a link to follow the vote there (you’ll need to refresh or click on “President of the United States” for updates:

    http://www.electionreturns.state.pa.us/ElectionsInformation.aspx?FunctionID=13&ElectionID=28&OfficeID=1

    • Patience

Oops – by the time I posted the link it was up to about 27% reporting.

    • Nobama

You are right. There are a lot of counties that have not reported yet. I just do not see how they can overcome the votes cast at this point.

  • Brian_C82

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SaraInPA

I’m concerned. I am looking at the county by county results on Fox News’ website for PA. It is reporting that my former county of residence – Dauphin County- which is fairly evenly split between Democrats and Republicans voted 95% for Barack Obama. 95%!! That’s 20% more than they are reporting for Philadelphia County. I currently reside in Franklin County and they are also reporting even more rural, traditionally Republican counties going by large margins for Obama. I SMELL SOMETHING ROTTEN! Can you investigate? I don’t know if I have the voice to do this, but I’m going to try.

  • RJ

There has not yet been an announcement of a McCain concession speech. And if turns out that BO is our next president, I will accept it and take comfort in knowing that he won without my vote. Gird your loins!

    McCain/Palin Country First

    • Sarracuda

I feel the most bad for Sarah, because of what she has had to go through for the past two months and for what, she had her family dissected, celebrities wanting her to be raped, murdered, the media treated her like crap, and now what, we gotta hope and pray that she comes back in 4 years(with much more experience) so that she can run for President, I want her to run for President SO badly, because I believe she will make this country better. Obama will make this country go down the toilet, good, maybe that will teach people a lesson to be sheep and vote for someone who will ruin this country and I would like to know what role ACORN had in all this, ACORN committed massive voter fraud and no one is bringing it up, I guess when you want to win an election, you gotta cheat

      • Andrew

Oh, I have a feeling this country won’t go down the toilet. It looks like we pulled a Jimmy Carter. Eventually we will come to our senses and vote the right person in.

      • Mandelay

If Palin wants to run again, she could have had no better experience than the last two months. If she had been a cream puff, the last two months would have totally squashed her. If Mac’s team loses tonight, Sarah Palin will be ready for her next step. I’m not on the same page with much of her political philosophy, but I am damned impressed with her. They tried everything to blow her out of the water and she continued to show how tough she is.

  • Angel

I’m not sure why everyone’s so freaked out right now. Am I missing something here?

The networks can “call” all the states that they want, but if they’re basing it on exit polls and not actual votes, what does it matter what they call? It’s a projection, not actual votes that were cast.

They’ve only got a small percentage of the precincts reporting in right now. The actual counting of votes is only just beginning, even on the east coast.

    Have faith.
    Have faith.
    It isn’t over

    • mimi

The problem is this: if they change all of these projections, we will have riots.

      That’s not gonna happen folks.

This freakin kills me. But this is the reality and I hate it!

  • Damian

DON’T GIVE UP YET IT’S NOT OVER TILL THE ALL VOTERS VOTE PERIOD…

  • Brian

There is still time, release the Michelle Obama “whitey tape”–the polls in California are still open.

  • Andrew

Bemused, I’m hanging in here. I just delivered the bad news to my mom. She was angry for a bit and then went back to reading.

As per C-Span people are still voting even that the polling was closed at 7:00pm. Only people that was on line at 7:00 will be able to cast their vote.

I’m starting to think there may be something to it.

the sad thing is that the BOBOweenie barely flinched when The precious sold us out and voted for bush’s telecom immunity package. And that was at a time when they could have still come to their senses and embraced Hillary. But they didn’t. The left fringers have already demonstrated that they will follow the BOBO into the darkness with the same zeal that the right fringers followed Bush.

  • Deep Truths

Maybe Obama will never be president because of the lawsuits and irregularities. Perhaps the American people will want to know much more about…oh, simple things like where he was born, who was his father, mentors, fellow travelers.

Maybe the funs’ just begun! Watching America WAKE UP IN HORROR!

Supposedly lowest percent of Ohio Republicans voted. Could be due to the dismal record of Republicans in that state, so dismal that even the Republicans couldn’t stand them.

Bust one thing is clear, a whole lot of dirty money was used, and it literally stole the election by bribing those very people seen on the screen.

We need an underground movement to keep truth alive. We need to start with the press. Actually we have to get control of the communication resources to effect change.

At any rate, I feel America will never get used to Obama in charge. It never felt right when they stole it from Hillary, it will never feel right until TRUTH is brought to bear on what the fuck happened THIS TIME.

    No justice, no peace.

  • Cat in NJ

I posted a similar message earlier today, and pretty much got the attitude that a McCain victory was a sure thing, no need to worry. Well, democracy in the USA died tonight. Plan B must be implemented, whatever that is. We have four years to ensure the communist fraud is not re-elected. His base — the youth vote and minority vote — will become complacent once O is in office. Wait ’til the balance of duped Americans see what devastation the Obama administration brings to this country. We must continue the dialogue against O, look forward to electing the right people in ’12, don’t be intimidated, and just weather the storm. W. Bush managed to get elected twice. We cannot survive eight years of Obama and Co.

At 8 p.m. East time, ABC calls Pennsylvania for Obama. At 8:30, I just noticed FOX showing actual returns. Less than 1 percent 50/48 Obama. Neither channel bothers to mention that they are basing projection on exit polls (or ACORN rigging). Probably trying to discourage voters in western states with this early announcement.
