This is the bombshell that had us wondering WTF after the first hour of the John Batchelor broadcast a couple of nights ago.  Question for Larry: do you think that this information will sooner or later become public, or will it be completely “buried at sea” and remain mythic (I can picture someone coining a new term of disparagement: “sea-deniers,” or “mountain dumpers.” 

In any case, government credibility is the issue.  Is this going to remain another loose-end that keeps us wondering?

Larry, I take everything you and Ulster say with a bit of skepticism, not because I doubt your accuracy, but because sometimes, in cases like these, there’s lots of information that’s not right that’s given out on purpose to create a murky view of the truth.  But one thing I’m confident about, Hillary Clinton was key to the capture of OBL.  She must have known specific information when back in 2009, when she testified before congress, she accused Pakistan of helping the Taliban and “extremists”.  For Hillary to be that blunt, it means that she wanted action from Pakistan to come clean.  If someone came to the U.S. Embassy and exposed the location of OBL, it must be because the person leaking the information trusted Hillary.  It must have been an Pakistani who maybe met Hillary and understood that he/she could depend on Hillary.   She is a great servant and Obama should come clean and give her all the laurels she deserves, but he won’t because he’s too chicken shit to do it.

The other clue we all missed, because it is easier to monitor what IS said and done than what is not, is that since Hillary left Pakistan last summer (she was there July 19 & 20 after a stop in Afghanistan  - raids uncovered planned attackes in both cities after her departure), we have mot heard her mantra that OBL is in Pakistan.  She had been saying that pretty regularly up until then, and I am sure no one can find even a brief allusion to it following August of last year.

If I had been paying attention, I might have noticed that there was something odd about her sudden silence on this.  I am not sure I would have inferred that it was true and there were ops underway.  Probably not.  Anyway, good for her!

Due to all the changing stories I felt in my gut something was not right about the whole incident within a day.(Actually within minutes the burial at sea had me  wondering).

Yet part of me kept saying that is was just Obama and his minions who seem to mess up everything they talk about.

So, does a SEAL have to sign a non-confidentiality agreement if presented? Wouldn’t a mission being Top Secret be enough (since I assume that mission was TS in regards to secrecy) to keep anyone from talking?  Lastly, even if the SEALS don’t talk, do you think Panetta, Hillary Clinton, Gates, etc, might in their memoirs?  Or do they still want to protect Obama to some degree?

Ok, from this point forward please understand the damned typos are fingers that don’t work so well some days, not the brain. So embarassing.

The initial insider account said that Gates and Clinton stood behind Panetta squarely.  Having the backing of Panetta might gain him trust and respect within the DOD like Gates; Petraeus to CIA maintains that cooperation between the CIA and DOD.  It should ease the confirmation process.  Panetta’s demonstrated loyalty to his intelligence team should speak well for him with the DIA who would expect the same kind of backing from the ‘Boss.’  With Hillary as the third leg of the triangle, Samantha Powers, Jarrette and Obama would become even more paranoid, especially because Bill Daley has an independent streak with an inclination to side with the more intelligent line of actions.  This should be very interesting from here on.  We should watch for additional personnel to try and neutralize these three.

When I was in college I did a study of the Nixon Administration and based on changes in the organization and lines of reporting it was apparent that Henry Kissinger was running foreign policy as well as having many domestic departments reporting into him as he head of National Security.

In the Obama Administration it would appear that Obama is not in charge at all. It would appear that Valerie Jarrett and his left wing socialiats have been running this mess. But now countering that are the grown ups: Hillary, Panetta, Dailey, and Gates.

Before I go all “ga-ga” over Panetta, I would like to hear all of the facts regarding what Hillary knew, when she knew it, what role she played this past year in helping set up this military action and how she convinced obama to do what he obviously did not have the balls, much less, the experience to do.

Ulsterman also pointed out that when 0bama came out of the briefing following the raid that he had with 3 people, he had papers in his hands that he didn’t have when he went into the briefing.  Ulsterman surmised the papers were the speech 0bama was to give to the nation last Sunday evening.  Who wrote the speech?  Who is insuring 0bama not only gets the credit for this operation but is making sure 0bama *takes* the credit? 

That is one of the things I noticed about Nancy Pelosi during the healthcare debate.  The HC bill was her/the House bill, but she was always careful to give full credit to 0bama as though he wrote the thing.  The people covering for this know-nothing in this covert way, should be in jail.  They are more deceiving than 0bama.

Appears that Hillary, in agreeing to serve as SoS, was not acting as a scorned woman, but was thinking of her country first.  The trouble is, so much happens in confidence, and, by virtue of the SoS post, the public is not privy to Hillary’s behind-the-scenes actions.  It’s hard to see when she’s acting as Hillary, and when as Obummer.  It’s a very fine line.

The reason she accepted the Sec. of State job was because that was as close as she could get to the Oval office at the time. Plus, it gave her an ‘in’ wherefrom she could keep tabs on Obama to harm him if the opportunity arose.

The photograph showing President Barack Obama and staffers in the White House Situation Room carefully watching the raid in progress by US forces in Pakistan on the bin Laden compound last Sunday has been published far and wide. One Hassidic paper in Brooklyn, however, has chosen to alter the photo – excising Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and another female staffer from the picture.

This belated attempt by the administration to silence voices who would contest their self serving account of the presidents actions in the Bin Laden matter, is akin to the problem which arises in a court room during cross examination.

It is black letter law that the scope of cross examination is confined to matters which are within the pleadings. If it exceeds those boundaries, then it is objectionable on the grounds of relevancy.

However, if the proponent of the evidence delves into irrelevant matters on direct examination, and then objects when his opponent cross examines the witness in those same areas,  the proper response to that objection is this: you opened the door. 

I submit that the same concept applies in this instance.

You are a complete moron. Hillary has had numerous opportunities to harm Obama, but she hasn’t. Instead she’s covered his ass for him. I’m not particularily happy about it, but she’s a collectivist, she works for the common good, the good of her party. Hillary will back Obama up until the final end, likely even campaigning for him if she resigns as SOS.

We are lucky to have Hillary at State, and I think she turned down veep for it. As a Senator, she was most active on the Armed Services Committee. She has always had excellent working relations with our military, because she wanted to be CINC one day. She knew she would wield little power as veep, and she knew Obama needed to be carefully watched once in office. Only Hillary as SOS could run an end loop around Obama like that, but I also believe she, Panetta and Daley worked together to protect the President in case anything went wrong. This was the same play we saw with the Somali pirates when Obama first took office. He has never made a gutsy call in his life (except running for higher office, which is typical male arrogance to me, and look at him wanting to be PM of Indonesia at 9 yo), but the people around him have happily given him credit. That’s patriotism.

Yet, you focus entirely on Hillary, totally ignoring what I said about the men.

The funny thing is that you ALWAYS call out anyone who says ANYTHING negative about Hillary specifically and only mention other women in passing, thereby relagating all other women to a position secondary to Hillary. Did you ever ONCE call HER out for her support of Bill when he was raping all those women and then throwing them away like dirty laundry? Bill, and by proxy, Hillary, have shown the worst kind of sexism toward women!

And, if you never defended a conservative woman agaist attacks in the media, you are just as sexist as you accuse others of being. Sarah Palin has suffered all kinds of sexist attacks and so has every other conservative woman who is in the public eye. Yet, it’s hillary alone who gets any response from you.

And it’s not just here… I see that you have a similar pattern of showing up in the comment sections of various websites with your constant defense of Hillary at least since 2008. I never once found a comment by you concerning ANY topic other than your overbearing love of Hillary.

Yes, things don’t seem to add up, although I agree with Larry about Ulsterman’s story ringing true (for the most part).  Questions, doubts, etc, about the events still linger, however ….

About the timing:  According to Tarpley, information about OBL’s whereabouts was leaked recently by Wikileaks,  which ultimatley precipitated the raid on the compound last week.  In other words, if this is true, the US was forced to take immediate action before the Wikileaks info went viral.  This could explain why an official narrative and taking points about the raid had not been crafted well in advance of the event. But this begs the quesiton:  Why did Wikileaks choose to leak this information at this particular time?  Could it have something to do with BO’s recent BC problem and his waning poll numbers? Otherwise, this OBL event would have been better timed for the 2012 campaign.

About the body:  Why get rid of the body?  It appears that a raid on the compound did occur, but do we know if it was OBL who was, in fact, shot, killed, and disposed of?  Benazir Bhutto, before her assassination, claimed OBL had been dead for years (since 2001?), so if this is true, then who was shot and killed during the raid and disposed of afterward?  It was well known that OBL had doubles, so could it be the case that a double was, in fact, killed?  We don’t have a body, so I guess we’ll never know for sure.  (And DNA samples are meaninless, at this point, since they could have been gotten at an earlier date.  We don’t have pictures yet either, but can we trust their authenticy anyway?)  Also, according to reports, there was a span of time where the WH onlookers couldn’t see what was happening during the raid.  I’d like to know if they actually witnessed OBL’s killing.   

Finally, OBL’s code name Geronimo is a very interesting choice.  As many know, Geronimo was not only an elusive figure, but had many doubles.  In the end, his real capture and death were steeped in doubt.  Such is the case with OBL.   Indeed, OBL as a kind of Geronimo figure is perhaps more epigramatic than we think.   As I said, a very interesting choice.
