“Judging A Man…”

“Not by the color of his skin, but by the content of (his) character…” To paraphrase the famous words of The Rev.Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his, “I Have A Dream” speech. Alas, his words came true on November 4th, 2008: a man was judged by the color of his skin, and not the content of his character.

Throughout this campaign season, any attempts to discern the “content of (Obama’s) character” have been thwarted by the Propaganda Machine, formerly known as the Fourth Estate, his handlers, the DNC, and his followers who claim, irrationally, I might add, the “Obama will heal us!” as Cher did on The Ellen Degeneres Show Nov. 3rd, as if he truly IS the Obamessiah, ignoring the tremendous splitting of the country, of the Democratic Party itself.

For the first time in memory, a candidate was NOT “known by the company he keeps,” “the birds of a feather which flocked together.” Rather, any mention of Bill Ayers was met, even by university professors with the illogical justification that Obama was only 8 when Bill Ayers and his compatriot, Bernadine Dorhn, were bombing the US Capitol, Pentagon, and other US buildings.

That may be so, but the ideology which drove Ayers and Dorhn is the ideology to which they still adhere. Obama has chosen to have them in his life, to live near them, work with them, and seek them out, as we recently learned for sure (as many of us suspected, and confirmed in this article by Steve Diamond at No Quarter, “Ayers and Obama In Regular Contact Says Source Close to Obama Candidacy“).

The list of his close associates in addition to Ayers and Dorhn are troubling: Rezko, Wright, Khalidi, Kilpatrick, Farakkhan, Blogajevich, et al, a list that contains convicted felons and one under investigation. I have said before, and will say again, any ONE of these people would have sunk any other candidacy, yet in the case of Obama, they were brushed aside as irrelevant. As was the glaring reality that Obama took the majority of his policy positions, often lock, stock, and barrel, from Hillary Clinton. But the Propaganda arm flipped it around, and his minions, again, many university professors, brushed aside his plagiarism as inconsequential. What a great lesson they are teaching their students, and their children.

Along those lines, I am in disbelief that adults, people who would not hire Obama at their own universities or businesses with his refusal to provide ANY documentation of his academic life, or allow friends, families, or fellow students to discuss him to ANYONE trying to get information on this first term senator running for the highest office in the land, would gladly give this man their votes.

I despair that adults, and their children, believe that the means justify the ends, that hundreds of thousands of fraudulent voter registrations, over 200,000 in Ohio, and 212,000 discovered in Georgia, in which voters were registered in GA, as well as OH or FL, are dismissed because as one neighbor, a retired university professor said, “ACORN does great work.” The level of voter registration fraud was through the ceiling, as the 16 investigations into ACORN indicate, yet the Propagandists say NOTHING about this as Obama “wins” contests in states where voter registration fraud was rampant. Even duplicate voting is brushed aside, as this video demonstrates (and h/t to a listener of Truthteller’s Election Night Radio Show mentioned):

Um, no – it is NOT okay for anyone to vote more than once in an election. It is FRAUD, and it is ILLEGAL!! But we already know there were instances of this in OH and FL. Heck, in VA, felons were allowed, no, RECRUITED, to vote for Obama, but absentee ballots to our military serving abroad went out late, sparking a lawsuit to make sure THEIR votes were counted. And on and on it goes.

As I said, I despair that adults are teaching our young people that you cheat, lie, and steal to get what you want. While you are at it, make sure you are a sore loser, hammering away at the vanquished in a juvenile, mean-spirited manner, never having learned the concept of gracious winning (especially when the “winning” is suspect). These are the same people who said NOTHING, or were SUPPORTIVE, of the Democratic Party forever smearing its very name by stealing votes from one candidate to give to another. The ends justify the means, and if that means we tarnish, tear down, belittle, smear, and steal from a candidate to win, so be it. Oh – and blame them for it, too, while we are at it as the NY Times did in an incredibly offensive editorial it had up last night celebrating Obama’s defeat of Clinton (I won’t link to it – go find it yourself if you want to read that dribble). We have now taught our young people that you can register as many times as you want, and vote as often as you want – just like on “American Idol”! – to make sure YOUR candidate wins. Fair and square is old school. Now it is win at all and any costs, and belittle your opponent while you are at it.

Then there are the issues of misogyny and race-baiting that sustained this campaign, with the willing participation of the Propaganda Arm, Obama, and the DNC. The treatment of women during this campaign was a low I have not seen in DECADES, yet many women were willing participants to this abuse, claiming even as Obama contradicted them, that he was going to be great for women. Ask Hillary. Ask Sarah. Ask those folks wearing, “Sarah Palin Is a C–t” t-shirts, or the organization that used the “C-word” as its acronym regarding Hillary. Women were treated as not just objects, but as sexual anatomy period, in a most vulgar and derogatory way. Still, since it was the DNC, too many women accepted this treatment from the very party of which they are the majority. How they can celebrate the future presidency of a man who treats women in such a hostile manner is beyond me. That goes for the GLBT community, too. But hey – they got their “Bro Before Ho,” so I know they are happy.

The race baiting that was used to tear down our only two term Democratic president in decades was horrendous to watch, especially as members serving in Congress, people whom President Clinton had helped personally, went out of their way to paint him with the stigma of being racist. Hillary, too. Two people who have worked TIRELESSLY to end discrimination in this people were called racists, and it stuck. Then anyone who would not, could not, imagine voting for the most inexperienced, unqualified candidate who was taking Chicago-style politics national, with his thugs attacking people around the country, were labeled, no, BRANDED racists if they did not support Obama. As women’s rights have been set back decades after this election season, so have been race relations. All in the service of getting this man elected because of the color of his skin, not the content of his character, which is still largely ignored or unexplored by the electorate and the Propagandists.

I do not think this is what Dr. King had in mind. I do not think this is what our founders had in mind, either. This election, with its win at all costs, even if it means cheating, lying, and stealing, is not democracy. It surely isn’t decent. And it is not the American Way. At the moment, I can’t see how this will change – how we will regain any semblance of justice, of knowing right from wrong, of being ethical, moral, good. Yes, we made history last night, but I ask you, at what cost to us, to our country? I weep for us today, at what we have become. I have to hope, and pray, that we will regain what we have lost, but for today, grief overwhelms me.

Why are you here then? If you are tired of it, leave.

Still scratching my head as to why Obamabots need to show up here and insult people – do they not have LIVES? Oh, that’s right, I guess they don’t.

Who says that Farakahn, Wright and Ayers will be guests at the White House?

I say before the 4th of July.

…and surreptitiously beyond, Rashid Khalidi, and Khalid Al Mansour, all enemies of America, Americans and their children. Scum bags all.

  • PCPatrol

It will hard to regain, since it’s becoming quite apparant, that many people in America consider none of these attributes, a virtue.

Based on some of the comments here, I’m wondering if Obama still has his paid bloggers on staff, to troll the Internet making it look like he’s got a lot more support than he actually has.

Thanks for a great post, Amy. You said it all so well and you speak for all of us. Thanks especially for saying that an election involving cheating is not democracy, isn’t decent, and is not the American way. This morning someone said to me, well, our democracy has spoken and I said it isn’t democracy when you steal a nomination.

I like what you said about Martin Luther King not liking what has happened, and I agree. I’ve been thinking lately of Thurgood Marshall, former Supreme Court Justice and civil rights champion, who is probably turning in his grave over all this hypocrisy and blatant injustice.

I live in an urban area but will be moving to a small town – thank God.

But he is black so that is OK.

My black friends who voted against him don’t think this is good and feel that he is such a bad representation of the race that it will damage the chances of honest black men and women for a generation.

I think without PUMA any Democrat would have won by 20 points this year. I was never a PUMA who thought that McCain would have it easy. I always expected Obama to win. I am not surprised at the point spread and I do not think it is a poor showing on PUMA either.

well, they don’t have to waste alot of time reading newspapers or watching the news, right? Every time I tried to have a conversation with an Obama supporter regarding the election, they were totally clueless about any issues at all. If I ask how they feel about Obama changing his stance on public financing, or FISA, all I get is a blank look.

  • Docelder

The bots are still afraid. Wonder why. ;)

I posted this earlier in another thread:

Just who I think Obama might pick:

Sec. of Defense: Colin Powell (comes with his own doctored weapons lab pictures and fake anthrax for any future conflicts)
Sec. of Education: William Ayers/Assistant: Bernadine Dohrn (special concentration in Chemistry)
Sec. of Interior (Design): Deval Patrick (will do wonders with drapes and upholstery)
Dir. of Faith Based Initiatives: Rev. Jeremiah Wright/Assistant Father Michal Pfleger
    Director of H.U.D: Tony Rezko
Ambassador to Israel: Khalid Rashidi (former? PLO activist)
Liaison to Jewish Community (USA): Louis Farrakhan
American Pride Representative: Michelle Obama (now that we’ve voted for her husband, she can always be proud of her country

But hey, I’m not bitter or anything. Good thing I don’t own guns and I’m not religious.

Emily, you hapless non-thinking, hateful Obot, we will all see what you and your kin are by the 4th of July. You will all be the target of contempt for good and caring Americans. You’ve got a good start here. If things are so clear cut for you, which I’m certain they are not, then what the hell are you doing here? Do you think Obama cares about you? This Piece of Shit, Obama and his wife paid short shrift to his dying grandmother and even less to his aunt in New England, and brothers and sisters in Kenya, all still living in poverty, and you believe he will make a better life for you and the rest of America? Wake up, you silly twit. This guy is a minion for Svengali’s who wouldn’t cross the street for anyone in distress.
Axelrod and Soros are callous users, and Obama fits their requirements perfectly.

  • Galt’s Voodoo Doll Emporium

I agree he would not want the democratic process subverted, women abused and race riots threatened to achieve “equality.” We have achieved only pseudo-equality with those farking brats playing on the whitehouse lawn nonsense one of the Obama’s was spouting.

I am actually praying he is not assassinated. That would start a civil war – we do not want that to happen!

  • susan

We won’t enjoy Obama, like we didn’t enjoy Bush, but we’re big girls and boys. We’ll “gird our loins” and put up with him like we did with Bush I, Bush II and Reagan. But probably for only 4 years. I have a hard time believing the Democrats in control won’t over-reach and all get thrown out in 2012. What goes around comes around. Most of us here have been around long enough to see these cycles before. I’m expecting a republican president in 2012 – depending on how bad Obama and Pelosi screw up.

  • Elizabeth

It was evident it wouldn’t ‘work’ once it became a socially rewarded mindset to be uninformed and refuse to read anything negative about Obama. There are too many who voted to support him and don’t even know who Joe Biden is or what Obama has ever done. They don’t care. Unbelievable!!

However, now that the burdens laid down from ‘white guilt’ and racism have been lifted from their shoulders, or if not absolved at least somewhat neutralized, the public at large may be more disposed to a fuller understanding of the man. That’s hopefully what can go forth from essays such at this.

  • http://www.deathofthedemocraticparty.com xax

Man. I’m listening to Mark Levin and he’s playing Reagan’s speech. Even though he’s conservative and anti liberal, his speech is eerily similar to what’s happening now.

Remember that. When this thing blows up, we should all take a shot. Choose your liquor.

    Yeah, you should stay tuned.

  • Ani

    Congratulations to you. Truly.

Is it vaguely possible for you, however, to acknowledge what actually took place and that perhaps the ends do not justify the means?

What do you think this says about us as Americans and the standards we supposedly hold so dear?

What is being discussed here is not sour grapes, but what actually happened in this race. Voter fraud, misogyny, media bias and the media withholding valuable information, his campaign and the media blatantly playing the race card: these are not good precedents to set.

Again. we know you won. Congratulations and Godspeed to President-elect Obama — he is going to need all the help he can get.

My question is now that these precedents have been set — that it is ok to practice these filthy tactics to win the White House — how will you feel when someone you do not support has YOU on the receiving end of them. Will you cry foul then? Or will you still say the ends justify the means even though you have unjustly been tossed aside and told to get lost? Even if it means you are being disenfranchised because of fraud? And you are ignored, ridiculed and have no recourse.

What if, someday in the future, that comes at a real cost to you or your children? What then?

Do you have anything to contribute to that discussion besides gloating?

Emily, you may forget the vast majority of us here are not Republicans. We are deeply disappointed Democrats who did not fall in line with the Obot nation when Hillary had the nomination stolen from her. Hence the name, PUMA, with the party referred therein being the Democratic party.

So what we hope for in 2012 is not a Republican victory.

  • Objective Analysis

McCain was a weak candidate. Palin’s addition helped him gain a spark. Then Sept 15th economic crisis occurred.

People were tired of Bush and the Republicans and were willing to give a rogue politician with no experience and a great ability to inspire a chance.

I use to argue with other Euro lefties that the Am. elections were free and relatively fair…no more. Americans candidates are selected, appointed by the internal system. The vote at the polls is just perfunctory, a feel good mechanism for the people. So really now, I’m not surprised in the least bit that fraud is every where this election cycle and the MSM and the authorities have a “oh well” attitude or play at outrage.

Feel good, that’s Obama role, not to govern, he knows nothing. Just to make the Am. public and the pop. at large feel good about tomorrow, while the stock market crashes, unemployment grows to 9-10%, their pensions get taken over, and none of what was promised can be delivered, no health care, no education reform….he’ll be preaching that sop and people will be looking for deliverance, tomorrow….all the way to 10 years from now.

  • Geo

You are right. To me Obama represents more of a Farrakhan type than say a Martin Luther King type. I admire Martin Luther Kind immensely. He was a great man. I am white.

Obama is a different kind of radical all together and I see him as a danger to America.

  • randall the computer guy

    Well said.

  • OBushMa

McCain would be a solid candidate for any other years, but who can win when the other guy cannot be pinned down to anything because the media helped him con the American people, while the stock market was thrown (I believe purposely) for a spin precisely when the campaign was taking off. Add on the Bush baggage, I would say no Republican politician could have done any better.

Obama threw the LGBT community under the bus from the getgo. There is a huge sense of shame and disgust about homosexuality in the AA. The fact that gay men live on the down low has contributed to spread of AIDS in the AA community. It’s disgraceful that people like Rev. Wright claim AIDS is a government sponsored plot to kill AA’s.

The prejudice and denial in the black community is hypocritical and cruel. And Obama is approving and endorsing this close-mindedness.

  • Alice Paul WPB

I was thinking the same thing.

Here in Florida we had a Marriage Protection Amendment on the ballot, even though Florida already bans gay marrige. It passed. And I heard California’s passed.

But yet people vote in the most liberal man to run for office ever! I still don’t get it.

Palin is a THREAT to the POWER STRUCTURE. She is a reformer who favors the people. The Powerful Elite in both parties and the MSM do not like that.

Plus she is female. Apparently it is OK to trash a female.

  • MochaLatteBreve

Well I’m personally going to concentrate on understanding the FAIR tax and election law and voting reform. Anyone know a good grass roots organization which covers one or both topics?

Also I’m going to make some changes such as no longer supporting charities which support humans (since they’ll be getting their money from me in their welfare check (my money in their tax credit)or Obama’s Global Poverty Tax act. No more United Way. So I’m going to donate to animal protection and welfare groups from now on. I’m also going to decrease the tips I leave.

    Amy,

A terrific article and spot on. It seems the Justice Dept. of our nation has been bought off as has the FEC. Why none of these abuses, lies and illegal acts aren’t being investigated only tells me that justice isn’t relevant to our leaders.

You are right in that we have been shown that winning is the only thing that matters. What a sad day for this nation.

I love the Titanic simile, and you have to wonder how many Barky will throw overboard in a frantic attempt to keep his mythic barge afloat. My betting is on Biden to be the first for the sharks, dressed in medical reasons, for I sense Barky’s contempt for him is deep-seated; but alas, he must be careful. The Sinclair arrest on a baseless warrant and no charge filed, is potentially terminally radioactive as the shield chips away little by little. Not only is Biden a suspect, but his son would actually be the goat. He has used Biden and he no longer needs him and its just a matter of waiting until enough time elapses to avoid exposing the underlying seaminess of it – a smile and a hug and “Thanks, Joe, you’ve been great.”

How Sarah Could Run for the Senate
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 3:19 PM
As we wait for the final results to come in about Ted Steven’s Senate race many of you have been wondering about Sarah Palin’s options for the slot.

I have all the relevant Alaskan state law statutes in front of me so let me run down the scenarios for you.

    SCENARIO 1)
If Ted Stevens loses, Democrat Mark Begich becomes Alaska’s new senator. Palin can challenge Lisa Murkowski for her seat in 2010. (This would be fitting since Palin unseated Murkowski’s father. It would be interesting to watch Palin go after the daughter, too.)

    SCENARIO 2)
Ted Stevens wins and then the Senate refuses to seat him. Or, Stevens does the right thing and resigns.

If this happens and Palin wanted to get his seat she would be best off temporarily appointing someone else and running for the seat straight up in a special election. This is because Alaskan law requires a special election and while Palin may be able to temporarily appoint herself the laws on this are too new and confusing to mess with.

Regardless of whether she runs or not, Palin would need to call for a special election between 60 and 90 days AFTER the vacancy occurs.

Now, about the temporary appointment. It’s complicated. Alaskans passed a ballot measure in 2004 that said the Govenor is allowed to call for a special election, but NOT make a temporary appointment.

The Alaskan state legislature passed something on this in 2004 as well. And, it’s at odds with what the voters did. The legislature passed a measure that says “When a vacancy occurs in the office of United States senator, the governor may, at least five days after the date of the vacancy but within 30 days after the date of the vacancy, appoint a qualified individual to fill the vacancy temporarily until the results of the special election called to fill the vacancy are certified.”

You got that? The ballot initiative says she can’t do it, but the legislature says she can. No one knows which measure would win in the end because it’s never been tested.

But, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for her to appoint herself at all. That would be a touch “diva.” Appointing the place holder and then running honestly would be much better and, I’m guessing, more Palin’s style.

I was on a conference call with conservative activists this afternoon and a leader from Alaska said, “If she runs, she wins.”

  • linad

The crowd kind of got quiet. Sooooo the “morning after” when they all crawled out of bed and realized that duh…the stock market dropped 500 points, still no jobs, still 2 wars, but wow they can all at least go out and abort their babies & he will appease them but he can’t do anything without them, but what he does not understand they are looking to him to do it all because they do not know how to do things for themselves because they have to have a “village” to see them through life. • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

I am appalled. Sorry if this is not PC…The same AAs and Obama who have been out there screaming about racism are the SAME people that deprive gays and lesbians of their rights for a civil union. Sorry, that makes me PUKE. Obama got all the gays to vote for him dumbazzes that they are, not knowing that he is a homophobe who does NOT support gay marriage. Then, his AA supporters come out in droves to vote for him, only to cause Prop 8 to be passed. I am IRATE about this. If they want equal rights then they should feel the same about those who struggle for them as well. This whole election is so divisive and full of CRAP.

Yes, of course, Obama could not take a moment to acknowledge Hillary (and by extension all women). It would have been a wonderful thing to do, particularly in light of the misogyny that we were all subjected to this year– he should have given credit where it is due and he missed a great opportunity in not doing so. It also would have shown a lot of class on his part.

In his victory, you would think he could have been generous enough to be less afraid to share the spotlight and acknowledge such a powerful candidate and great American. She really delivered for him as she gave her word she would.

Even though the DNC does not deserve her, she is truly a loyal Democrat and did more than any other primary candidate to help the eventual nominee — no matter how unfairly he got there.

I am at a loss to understand why his supporters, who say that they all want unity would not want Obama to show respect and regard to woman by this singular gesture. What would have been the cost to him? Nothing. In fact it would have won him a great deal of good will.

That is one of the marks of a great leader, by the way — generosity and giving credit where it is due. Someone of true power and ability never feels he will look smaller or less by trumpeting the accomplishments of another.

That you are a hateful little bully. who only replies to people who will not verbally kick your pathetic behind all over this board. you have forsight of a gnat and the passive agresseive cowardly moron like your dear leader. You revel in your own stupidity and then have the audacity to comment on the deficiencies of others. You voted for a man who allows his aunt and his brother to live in a slum. And then think he is going to do crap for you or anyone else in the country. Hell obama told you himself. If perosn doesn’t take care of his flesh and blood he sure as hell won’t do crap for you. I didn’t vote for obama because i belive in the principles i claim to have, and i would not vote for someone who has allowed his family to live in filth, and his constiutents to live with propers sewage, lights, and hangs out with persons who dedicate books to the people he claims he wants to immulate. I will not codone sexist and racist attacks on other people. If i were to go into all the ways your choice was stupid as hell we would be here all night, and into the next week. You have doomed you own country to failure, with thunderous applause. But someone else needs a ten foil hat? If obama told most of you there was a mother ship coming for you and pass around the cynide filled Koolaid, most of you would stare up in the sky in anticepation. Weak pathetic little brown coats.

In other words. Don’t run around trying to remove the speck in someones eyes, when you have a board in your own, because some of us will pull it out and beat your behind with it. YOu sorry waste of oxygen. We need to save it for people who actually uses it oxygenate the great fruit sized thing some of us like to call a brain see most humans uses the front of it to do something called reasoning. And since i is so evident that you don’t uses it, I say we save what little precious clean air on ones tha actually work. That might actually be something obama and i could work on together. God knows we need to get rid of dead weight. So i suggest you shut it. You want to discuss the issues fine. but you leave the personal out of it and that includes sarah palin, because equal opportunity and fighting agianst sexism was something democrats were supposed to have believed in before obama came along and people like you lost your damn mind. You got that, or should i dumb it down for you some more?

The fact that everyone at the DNC and in the media seemed just totally unconcerned about the caucus fraud and the ACORN tactics makes me very sad for our country.

One of the reasons I retired a little early as a public school teacher is that I couldn’t stand the way cheating was rampant in the schools and no one seemed to care. Copy each other’s answers. That’s o.k. because the teachers don’t ready them, just give points for turning things in. Copy / paste your paper by pulling from the interntet and claiming the work as your own. It gets an A because it’s so flashy. Turn in a paper someone else did for a differnt teacher, no problem.

For an “old school” teacher, it can be brutal. The students hate you when you catch them and scream to the principal that they want in a different teacher’s class, where they don’t have to do so much work.

The goal is to get through high school, get the grades and get into college, where again you can often cheat your way through.

I could go on about how I’ve seen the general respect for honesty, doing one’s own work, and actually earning a grade has fallen. It’s almost now seen as a character flaw, a “stupid” way to be.

The important thing is to get the grade, not earn it, get into the school you want so you can party and cheat your way through to graduation. Then you get the job and earn the bucks and figure out a way to cheat your way into a nice mansion.

Winning is all that matters now, not earning the win honestly.

I don’t have hope that we will return to the values I grew up with. It’s as if I’m living in a foreign land.

I’m african american and no she’s not being racist. She’s staing a fact, lots don’t belive in gay marriage. And quite a few of us cling to religion. HOwever i think we can saftely say obama supports do not believe in womens rights either.

  • McPalinforUS

God in the sky? Is that where she is?

Give me a break. Bigots use religion as a hiding place when it comes to homos. It’s a shame, and so easily recognizable in people like you. tsk. She’s up there in the sky shaking her head.

  • kgirl1028

You know if they think they are going to get a way with cheating they are in for a rude awakening. I truely believe our problems over the last few years stemed from us giving Bush the incompetent cheat that he was the white house, and obama will be part two.

Last night I lost my country and I want it back! Anybody up for a revolution?

  • Ted Kennedy’s Swim Coach

Yep remember how the repub. poll watchers were forced out of the election centers for a few hours in Philly.
I wonder what happened when they were gone.

  • Latina

By the way, Xax, I want to congratulate you for standing up on your convictions and disengaging to the race issue. Not many people had the courage to do what you did. You have my admiration.
It is my belief that the only thing that America won last night is the reafirmation that we are all Americans, and that anybody, black, yellow, Hispanic, Jew or Latino can be the highest figure of the World.
I am extremely dissapointed that Hispanics were mesmerized with his mantra, forgot their principles and religion, and upset with the Jewish American, for I believe they will regret dearly whatever is going to happen with Israel.
For the sake of this country and many black people who deposited their faith on him, I hope he does a decent job (I have serious doubts about it)

  • angels81

Should have read… it would have been nice to be able to have had an intelligent debate. Too bad. Sorry.

  • KintheNorthwest

I tried to just tell my daughter that I was sorry Ca made gay marriages illegal again. Knowing that it would not be cool to go any further on Politics I was trying to politely not say anymore.
So when my granddaughter and her cheered over the phone telling me things would be now better with our new president, I just replied that I trully hoped so and that we we all need to wait and see. In just a few secs the onslaught I feared came for that one comment.

Actually I truly pray that mine and other’s worse fears will be proven false. I truly pray that this country will be safe under Obama and that things will not go down hill any more than they have.

I hope that all the people here, on TD’s site, the pumas and other such sites will keep up the fight to keep America the country it should always be.

God Bleess you Larry Johnson and all the rest of you who helped us to fight the fight.

  • http://rabblerouserruminations.blogspot.com Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy

Ani – thanks for the comment. You mean “generosity and giving credit” like McCain did?? This is Obama’s MO – he expects something for nothing, no demands that people give him their allegiance, work their hearts out for him, because he is DUE it – no need to thank or credit them, right?

  • mkm125

Thanks for another great article RRRA. I managed to only spend about six hours today trying to heed Senator McCain’s words about standing with President-elect Obama (even posted a comment saying we should). As a biracial person I tried to tell myself that this is a momentous day in history and I should celebrate…only to find myself….even further depressed because I know this election has ALWAYS been about “race.” As I told my sister who was out celebrating with her under 25 year old gang of friends last night, I never saw Obama’s race/ethnicity, I only saw an unqualified individual. I have no problem voting for an AA candidate–I just have a problem voting for THAT biracial candidate (I refuse to only call him AA as I would never dream of discounting my “white” racial heritage as he does). If 97% of Whites or any other group for that matter voted for the candidate that represents their race/ethnicity–we are called racists. I know this is very un-PC of me, but what the f*ck? Anyway, after reading the articles and comments at NO QUARTER, I am reminded of the endless reasons I still have that nagging pit feeling in my stomach and cannot embrace Obama. I tried for a mere six hours…….it’s just not possible.

As I told my disappointed friends who are actual Republicans, I’m used to not liking the person in the Whitehouse, I’ve been doing it for 12 years (I stopped being a fan of Bill in 1996). I gave Hillary a chance this time around and think the PUMA vote was easily negated by the 20% of Republicans that voted for Obama (I don’t know if that number is correct–it’s what I read and I can’t quote the source–anyone can correct me if I’m wrong).

I will keep coming to No Quarter and hopefully the comments section will calm down in a few days. I know people need to vent, but the “trolls” seem to be getting to many who don’t normally “bite” when antagonized.

LOL. No need for that. We all know it or will soon.

We, the people that know the true colors of Barack Hussein Obama, come from different countries to form this beautiful country. We profess different religions, still, understanding the basic differences between right and wrong. We may have come from different parties, yet we cherish our freedom in speech and pursuit of happiness.
Iam originally from Puerto Rico but want to post this words from a Cuban writer ( and a brother to my beliefs) to all of you.
We are all in this together.

    “FIDEL CASTRO & OBAMA

All I wish to express, as a former Cuban exile, is that Barack Obama and Fidel Castro share many personality traits, ie:

Both were abandoned by their fathers at an early age.
Both are charming, eloquent lawyers that say exactly what people want to hear at the right time and place.
One never led the nation to suspect he was a communist at heart, the other doesn’t mention the word socialism when in reality this is exactly what his agenda stands for.
Both were virtually unknown until they began to use the word ‘change’ as their main political motto.
Both have egos as tall as the twin towers, yet they manage to present themselves humbly, one in soiled military fatigues and the other sweating and with an undone tie.
Both have the unique ability to distort truth and lies as if they were the same.
Both have the ability to hypnotize the ignorant and fool the wishful thinker and to divide a nation in classes, (divide and you shall win) In Fidel’s case he divided the rich against the poor, the illiterate against the educated and the black against the white. In Obama’s case even if by omission, he’s de-facto dividing the races already.
Another resemblance between Obama and Fidel and one that shall never be forgotten is that the American media supported the ‘Twentieth Century Latin American Liberator’ (Time Magazine) with the same degree of irresponsibility devoted to Barack Obama today.
And lastly I’ll use the words of Jorge Santayana to finish my case in point: ‘Those who can’t remember the past are condemned to repeat it.’
And in the words of Sir Winston Churchill: ‘The inherent vice of Capitalism is the unequal distribution of blessings, the inherent vice of Socialism is the equal distribution of misery.’
    GOD SAVE AMERICA!

Signed: Andrew J. Rodriguez, Author of ‘Adios, Havana,’ a memoir”

  • PS

“Not by the color of his skin, but by the content of (his) character…”

I, a Republican, voted for McCain because of his character. I trusted him to keep us safe, secure, to get the economy going in the right direction and so much more. It was his character that I trusted, his character that I respected.

The one thing I could never see John doing is what BO did not once, but twice. And that was his now famous “salute”….with his middle finger. First to Hillary and then recently to John, after praising him! Way to go Prez! He did that in front of his supporters, in front of a camera, maybe in front of his children or other children..he is not a man with character. How old is he….13!

I don’t respect BO because of his “history” of life choices…and even more now because of his disrespect
toward Hillary and John…which is also aimed at us as Americans.

Those two “flipping the bird” incidents are SO beyond immature, classless, unfunny, disgraceful…but I am not surprises that OButtcrack pulled them. He’s vile.

  • Margie

I am still so depressed over the primary and now the general election. Lawsuits were filed over caucus fraud in Tx. and other states and the authorities had plenty of time to investigate and disqualify pampers, but Nooooo…I certainly never heard whether anything was even investigated and then last night on CNN a voter stating that he had voted several times….massive voter fraud and nothing done about it….Obama cannot remember what the hell state he is in; just imagine at a state dinner when he forgets everyone’s name and pisses half the world off….and Biden makes one of his stupid remarks to a
    world leader….

  • MochaLatteBreve

Yep I saw this on O’Reilly. It was amazing how the reporter delivered the “gossip” as the gospel. It was disgusting and I don’t believe it personally.

  • MochaLatteBreve

A New Birth of Freedom. So Obama is going to continue with the symbolic crap and lectures instead of working on real issues for real Americans? Well that figures.

I’m embarrassed for (and ashamed of) the 60 million or so naive and ignorant Americans who voted for Dear Leader. Well okay removing the people voting more than once and the dead people maybe that’s only 54 million (oh but that would mean the McCain really won.)

Wish it was only his supporters that have to live through the hard times ahead and with the consequences of their actions.

Let’s reinforce the personal responsibility theme. You voted for him you deal with the consequences.

  • Margie

I have already decided when Barky gets his civilian military ready; I am going to tell him that I did not vote for him; so I am exempt…

Let us add one more radical association to the BO list.
Emanuel Rahm’s father Benjamin was a radical Zionist and a member of the Irgun. This militant Zionist group was treated as a terrorist organization during British rule. They blew up hotels, train stations, and other buildings in Palestine in the 1930s and 40s. Killing innocent British and Palestine citizens.
The late Sherman Skolnick of Chicago called Rahm Emanuel the “Acting Deputy Chief for North America of the Mossad – Israeli Intelligence.
Skolnick went on to say that Emanuel’s father Benjamin had been “part of the Israeli assassin team that murdered Sweden’s Count [Folke] Bernadotte” in 1948. Bernadotte was the envoy of the United Nations in Palestine who sought to find a solution to the UN Partition Plan that gave Palestinian land to Jews from “beyond the pale.”
Was Skolnick correct? Skolnick does not document his claims so checked into his allegations.
“Beyond the pale” would certainly describe where Rahm Emanuel’s family came from. His father’s family came to Palestine from somewhere in the Ukraine in 1917, according to what Dr. Benjamin M. Emanuel told me the other day. Dr. Emanuel now lives in Wilmette, Illinois. The Emanuel family name was Auerbach until 1936. Ben said that his family was from Russia.
Rahm was an Israeli citizen until he was 18 years old
Rahm Emmanuel, former Clinton adviser, current congressman from Illinois, staunch supporter of Israel, and suspected by many of being “Mega”, the Mossad mole in the Clinton White House.?????????
Note: Michael Moore’s agent is top Hollywood Jewish Zionist Ari Emmanuel whose brother is Rahm Emmanuel, a hyper pro-Israel senator in Illinois.
