Debbie Wasserman Schultz, PUTZ!

Buy American? Nope, not if you are Debbie Wasserman Schultz. After berating Republicans for hating American workers and trying to sink the domestic auto industry, it turns out that Ms. Schultz loves her some Japanese.

Per the Hill:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), the chairwoman of the DNC, ripped into Republican presidential contenders who opposed President Obama’s 2009 bailouts for General Motors and Chrysler.

“If it were up to the candidates for president on the Republican side, we would be driving foreign cars; they would have let the auto industry in America go down the tubes,” she said at a breakfast for reporters organized by The Christian Science Monitor.

But according to Florida motor vehicle records, the Wasserman Schultz household owns a 2010 Infiniti FX35, a Japanese car whose parent company is Nissan, another Japanese company. The car appears to be hers, since its license plate includes her initials.

How to explain such hypocrisy? It ain’t because she’s Jewish. It ain’t because she’s a blond. And it ain’t because she’s a woman. Nope.

Very simple. She is just one more self-absorbed politician who insists that you must follow rules that don’t apply to her. Democrats are particularly bad at this. The embedded video above is not the best or the most clever way to address her, but it is the best I could find. If you have better let me know.

    Debbie Wasserman-Schultz–Putz

This once again raises the age-old question–”What is the difference between a putz and a twit?  The primary scholarly authority in this learned debate is no doubt The Urban Dictionary:

putz: “a putz is Yiddish (derogatory) for prick.”  But also, by another definition, “A putz is a numbnuts who hasn’t a clue that s/he is so so so very dumb
or clueless. A true putz is not only stupid or completely ‘out of
     it’,
but s/he is also aggressive or combative about his/her totally inept
    decision-making.”

twit: “The kind of person who makes a retarded chimp look smart”; “acronym for ‘trophy wife in training’”; “teenage women in their thirties.”

Putz or twit?  I don’t know.  It’s a close call.

      Wonderful comment!

I have found Debbie to be hopelessly uninformed and just dumb whenever I have seen her on a talk show and be intereviewed on any subject.

The fact that this moron goes on a rant about the GOP and American cars and she herself openly drives a Japanese luxury car.

She also is unaware that Ford did not take a dime of government money and is THE most successful car company in the industry. So even if GM (Government Motors) was sold off the foreign car companies there still would have been  an american company.

Typical socialist double talk. Do as we say, not as we do. DSK was supposed ot be the Socialist candidate to the French Presidency. And look at his way of life… Who amongst us can afford a $230,000 monthly defense bill not including his new Manhattan rental of $35,000 per month. Oh but wait… He is not rich, his wife is. Still she is a socialist too.

I really think that the democrats believe the American people are stupid and easily led. Many may be, but more and more are not. The dems have not caught on to the fact that their fraud in 2008 woke many people up and they are aware and not buying the BS anymore.
I do not need someone preaching to me especially since most of them took lessons from Elmer Gantry.
The dems proved what they thought of women in their treatment of Geraldine Ferraro and Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. Actions speak much louder than words.
Hey Debbie, want to know how democrats feel towards a women? Speak for American against something the obama is selling, see how fast you go under the bus.

Mr. Johnson:  I couldn’t find a better vid of the left’s token nod to secular Jews (hoping her appt. would wrangle-in more votes from religious Jews who just haven’t been paying attention — though that would be another Progressive, utopian dream at this point).

But the very best explanation I have found is from a video I posted here earlier this week and it came from Evan Sayet.  He postis that the left is all about reducing everything to neutral relativsim (my term, not his).  The Progressive idea is to eliminate discernment; what they call “discrimination.”  If you believe something is either good or bad, you are discriminating, and to discriminate over anything is bad.  It denies any standard of truth, beauty, justice and success.  For example, that’s why the NY Times doesn’t use the term “terrorists,” but “freedom fighters” is okay.  Progressives believe that any success comes from the exploitation of someone and is bad, and that any failure of something is because success was cheated by oppression.  He explains that the only lens Progressives view the world through is oppressor and oppressed and that if we eliminate any standard of what is good and what is bad we will finally arrive at a point where there is nothing to argue about and everyone will just get along in a nowhere land of ”peace” in which no one argues with anyone over anything because there is no good and no bad.  He uses Lennon’s “Imagine” to illustrate the idea of a point of “no heaven,” (the secularization of religion), “no countries” (one world order), “no possessions” (a socialism of ownership), …. living for today.  Progressivism is actually a sort of nihlism in which Debbie the Putz can say whatever she wants because the left cannot descriminate against her hypocrsisy.

        • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

In its proper context a douche-bag can make you smell minty fresh and feel clean.  Sexist?  maybe, but not necessarily a negative.  I prefer “Colostomy Bag.”

        • Maggie

It is sexist.  It implies women are dirty.

        • Anonymous

I’m not fond of using that term either EllenD818. I prefer using words that describe the intellect and character, or lack thereof, of a particular person.

However a “Preparation H towelette” is something in the general vacinity and is not “sexist” IMO. Cause we all have one. And some, like Debbier Wasserman Schputz, are one. (Thanks for the Schputz, Psstt.)

        • Tex-Mex Soup

I don’t consider it sexist at all.  Just like a**holes men and women are capable of being one so in my book women can also be capable of being douchebags.   I also disagree with you respectfully because if we women are to be successful in life we have to be ok with hearing a comment like this once in a while.  We need to take the heat if we want to be in the kitchen and not start crying sexism if it is not the case.

Now if someone called her a c**** then we will have an issue because that is sexist in my opinion.

Her stupidity doesn stop with automobiles, foreign and domestic.

Why do liberals see women as stupid?
This past week the “progressive” left laid claim to the women’s vote of 2012.
They intend to compete for the hearts and minds of women.
They intend to win the votes of women, and they will lie, confuse, and mislead if necessary to do so.
In short the left believe that the women’s vote in America is something they can manipulate devoid of fact.
More pathetically they believe women in droves will cascade with them over the cliff into the insanity the left offers–all the while attempting to convince them they are truly on their side.
To the left, women are just another group, like ethnicities, and sexual identities, that they believe they can victimize–then rescue, all in the matter of the twenty-second soundbite.
They’ve even recruited women to do it–case and point–Democratic Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who recently assumed control of the DNC.
I’ve watched Schultz on her pundit hits on cable news, and have never really been very fascinated by any of the victimology ideas she has to peddle. Now that she speaks for the entirety of her party however, her words become seemingly more important. This last week she laid her strategy bare:
“It’s just so hard for me to grasp how they [Republicans] can be as anti-woman as they are,” she said. “I think that the pushback and the guttural reaction from women against the Republicans’ agenda out of the gate, the war on women that the Republicans have been waging since they took over the House, I think is not only going to restore but help us exceed the president’s margin of victory in the next election.”
So Republicans are at war with women? Really?
Then why is the most reliable voting block for the GOP – married moms? What… Do they not count?

I can’t join in the pile-on of Ms. Wasserman Schultz.  I have a lot of admiration for her courage and poise in battling breast cancer throughout 2008.  She had a double mastectomy and in total had seven surgeries throughout the year.  What is additionally notable about that is she did it all while campaigning hard–first for Hillary, then for the Dem nominee–and making endless television appearances almost every day.  You’d never have known she was extremely ill the whole time.  Sorry, that kind of guts really blows me over.

    • Anonymous

People are very complex creatures. Wasserman Schultz is all that you say but she still is a putz.

      • Anonymous

Exactlly Macolm, just because she’s a brave putz doesn’t make her any less a putz.

    • Anonymous

Even though she went through so much, it does not excuse her being just another Democratic puppet letting them putll the strings and doing their bidding..
Its especially does not excuse her expecting the American public to just follow lock step what ever the Democratic Politicians.

      • Anonymous

It doesn’t excuse anything.  It just means I’m not going to join in writing nasty articles or comments about her.  My mother went through the exact same health crisis some years ago, with the double mastectomy, the works.  I look to Ms Wasserman Schultz as an inspiration for women everywhere going through this nightmare.

        • Anonymous

And I must disagree. She made her bed irrespective of her health issues, which are entirely irrelevant to the issue of her competence, candor, and ethical standards. She gets no pass from me because of health issues unless they are the cause of her apparent insanity.

        • Anonymous

I went through the same thing just recently. Had my surgery on April 1 of last year. Double mastectomy, and I did it as an outpatient. Was home by 4 that afternoon, with 4 drains and sore as hell. Then I went through chemo for several months. I don’t see her as an inspiration, I see her as a hypocrite.

It must be the residual effect of all that anesthesia on her brain. It’s been known to do that.  Sometimes it even triggers an early onset of dementia.  Kidding aside.  Who knows, she might just be a reason for Obama’s downfall.  Maybe this is her hidden agenda.  Perhaps it’s wishful thinking on my part. But stranger things have happened.  She couldn’t be that stupid and be reelected so many times.

    • Anonymous

Yes–she’s a real trooper–reminds me of some of the reasons that Gabbie should run for president….

    • Daisy Mae

Yes, DWS and many women have braved through breast cancer, inc. a number of my friends who are doing this right now. One is a marathon trainer and keeps up her exercise regime, besides running a business. So applause for that for all these women, half of which would be GOPers who get dumped on by DWS.

There are no excuses for her anti-GOP women remarks, nor her obnoxious and continuous hypocritical loud mouthing and bad mouthing. She continues the politics of polarization of women. The Dem. party is NOT the party of/for women. Her  bobo drooling, laced with continual kool-aid drinking is pathetic and stuck in 2008.

      • sowsear

        You mean 200B..

  • Anonymous

    TY Larry….

Its so sad to see some of the Politicians and voters that just follow lock step with their party, ethnic group or union, as if they have no brains.
Sadly there are these types of voters and politicians in both parties. Its bad when you ask a voter why they supported or voted for ?? or ??? and all they can say is my union said to, my organization said to, my church to, that’s what my party wanted, or that the person running was of a certain ethnicity.
You know ike the many who voted for Obamacare, who had not read even 1/2 of it. All they could say was we and they would find out when it passed.
With this I have to give one Democratic politician I really don’t like a thumps up. Harry Reid did step forward on the Israel issue and put his own two cents out there even though it was opposed the view of the president.

So patently illegal is Obama’s war in Libya as of today that media reports are now coming quite close to saying so directly; see, for instance, this unusually clear CNN article today from Dana Bash. As a result, reporters today bombarded the White House with questions about the war’s legality, and here is what happened, as reported by ABC News’ Jake Tapper.Talk about “secret law.” You’re not even allowed to know the White House’s rationale (if it exists) for why this war is legal. It simply decrees that it is, and you’ll have to comfort yourself with that. That’s how confident they are in their power to operate behind their wall of secrecy: they don’t even bother any longer with a pretense of the most minimal transparency.

Noogan: A lot of this skulduggery can be traced to the passage of the Last Refuge of Scoundrels Act. Anything pertaining to terrorism can be kept under government lock and key, which could include anything we’re doing or not doing in Libya. And Barry just used his magic pen to extend it. So much for the progressives’ disdain for this act. It was never a good law and is even worse with Oblahblah in charge. This sort of crap will continue to occur until we, the people, demand accountability from OUR government.

There are few if any non-stop flights across country and many flights no longer exist so it can’t be wear and tear on the equipment.
