Speak of Leiberman… I read on one of the AP’s headline news bits that Harry Reid just may strip Joe of his Heading of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee. Citing that he doesn’t show enough support to the democratic party, and his support of John McCain. Why does this not surprise me either???

I apologise if this has already been posted and I am repeating this. In any case, I think the behavior of much of the democratic party has been just abominable. Goddess, we need reform so badly.. I have sincere doubts it won’t be coming anytime soon.

You see in 1995 he and other attorneys (find his name on the linked document below) sued Citibank Bank of Chicago alleging discrimination in housing lending causing the bank to enter into a consent decree to give loans to low income people. Because it was a federal suit it had ramifications for all states. This caused president Clinton to enter into other consent decrees all over the country. BINGO. But, I can say that when I saw her sad face on television- I knew in my heart that the party that I loved continued to bash her with no longer my party. I will predict this that the respect for Hillary will be gone and in 2012, Mrs. Clinton will go out again and try to bring in her supporters to go against any other possible woman candidate and to re-elect Obama. No, I do not. I was elated when Hill decided to run. I was certain (still am) that she was the only person running who had a real understanding of the issues that our country was facing and would face. It was a serious blow when she decided to end her campaign as I was hoping she would take it all the way to the convention. I don’t understand ending a triathlon 10 feet from the finish line. God knows we need/ed her as our president.
In the end, I felt that based on the very little known about Obama, pretty much all rotten, I just could not support him. I voted for McCain and for a straight Republican ticket.
What the DNC and Bots did to Hillary, how they treated her – I will never forgive them because when they did it to her, they were doing it to me and to all women. When they did that to her, they dishonored the 18 million (men and women, of all races and creeds) who voted for her. When they did that to her, they abused their power.
After 8 years of watching a power-hungry president use and abuse his office, it seemed that the DNC and all it is supposed to represent would do all it could to present a clean, positive, uplifting image. If it is possible, they are, along with Obama, worse than Bush ever was.
We need a president who will always be positive, who doesn’t hold grudges, who is smart enough to get us out of the jam we are in. That’s not Obama.
No, Hillary may have asked for my support in helping elect Obama, but I refused to lend it.

The election went beyond Anybody But Bush (ABB). It became Any Body But A Republican (ABBAR).

I think the Katrina disaster was much overlooked. There was much residual anger and pain about the mistreatment and coverage of the folks from NOLA.

Barbara Bush and her callous statements didn’t help. Therefore, anyone associated with the “Republican Brand” was tarnished. Even McCain couldn’t overcome that. I’m not sure any Republican, even Palin, could.

The Democrats didn’t help by “taking impeachment off of the table”. But the Republicans are equally at fault. They let Bush run wild until 2006 after which the Democrats let him run wild.

I hope GHW Bush is happy. His son will not only go down in history as being one of the most unpopular Presidents. His son will be known as one who also managed to nearly destroy his own Party, for the foreseeable future, in the process.

U.S. mission hauls uranium from Iraq.

This has been flying under the radar. I read the MSNBC article and checked it on truthorfiction. com. I pasted the TorF version 1 below. This event is factual. I have a renewed respect for President Bush. He has taken the heat of being called a liar and a war monger for 5 years while he kept his silence to protect the people of the world. This is truly a display of selfless honor.

On July 5, 2008, the Associated Press (AP) released a story titled: Secret U.S. mission hauls uranium from Iraq. The opening paragraph is as follows:

The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein’s nuclear program a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

See anything wrong with this picture? We have been hearing from the far-left for more than five years how, Bush lied. Somehow, that slogan loses its credibility now that 550 metric tons of Saddam’s yellowcake, used for nuclear weapon enrichment, has been discovered and shipped to Canada for its new use as nuclear energy.

It appears that American troops found the 550 metric tons of uranium in 2003 after invading Iraq. They had to sit on this information and the uranium itself, for fear of terrorists attempting to steal it. It was guarded and kept safe by our military in a 23,000-acre site with large sand beams surrounding the site.

This is vindication for the Bush administration, having been attacked mercilessly by the liberal media and the far-left pundits on the blogosphere. Now that it is proven that President Bush did not lie about Saddam’s nuclear ambitions, one would think the mainstream media would report the story. Once the AP released the story, the mainstream media should have picked it up and broadcast it worldwide.

This never happened, due in large part I believe, to the fact that the mainstream media would have to admit they were wrong about Bush’s war motives all along. Thankfully, the AP got it right when it said, The removal of 550 metric tons of yellowcake the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam’s nuclear legacy.

For the last several months the US and Iraqi governments have been negotiating a Status of Forces Agreement to govern the presence and wind down of US troops in Iraq after the UN mandate expires this month. That Agreement has been finalized and will soon be signed. The withdrawal of US troops has already begun, and is even being accelerated beyond initial estimates, as Iraqi troops and civilian police forces have taken control over all but a few remaining small pockets of the country.

It’s over in Iraq, the Iraqi’s have their own democratically elected government and full sovereignty has been restored to the Iraqi people. Credit Bush, credit Patreus, credit McCain, or credit the Iraqi people themselves who stood up against insurgents, al Qaeda, nutjobs like Sadr, or their own corrupt politicians, and give credit where credit is due that the job is done.

Just don’t credit Obama, but that is what I read in the press this morning, an AP headline… Iraqi’s agree to Obama’s withdrawal timeline. Shameful.

I do not question it but I believe at the time before the Iraq war the issue was whether Sadam had declared ALL his “nuclear program material” not whether he actually had nuclear material. Scott Ritter and the head of the IAEA had said that the IAEA had confiscated the bulk of his materials program. The question was whether there was evience Saddam was lying. You are trying to infer that the “550 tons of yellow cake” had not been discovered by the IAEA before going to war. THAT IS THE ISSUE. DO YOU HAVE PROOF FOR THIS STATEMENT? If it had been discovered but not removed, I certainly could understand that since under war conditions that would have been too dangerous. I have a masters degree in chemistry and I know this is a raw material form of uranium not very high in U content but still very dangerous because of its radioactivity. Are you making the case that this yellowcake was discovered after the war began? I hope the Bush administration puts out a definitive paper on this issue to clear it up once and for all before the other participants leave this earth. By the way Ritter was threatened with prosecution for alleged sex with a 16 year old if he did not shut up about the whole issue. He disappeared from view.

Colin Powell sat in the UN and blatantly lied about chemical and biological weapons and the possibility of a nuclear weapons program. The link provided as proof Bush was right doesn’t show anything of the kind. That uranium had been stored so long, the containers were rusted and leaking. According to the article, it had degraded to the point it would have been useless even for a dirty bomb. The aluminum tubes reported by the NYT and the next day by Cheney, were later proven to be unusable for nuclear weapons. Bush never vetoed a single spending bill until the Democrats gained a majority in 2006. Corruption was out of control with Haliburton and Blackwater USA was payed more than regular military. Please don’t do this people. I am a former Democrat who voted for McCain and I will never be blinded by partisanship again because it is going to destroy our country faster than any foreign government. We were lied to about everything. There were no WMDs and Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. If we forget that for one moment, it will happen again.

WOW! that’s some tough lovin on Hillary from Lynette Long. I’m going to let it sink in. How about you guys? I feel less raw today, but still a bit protective/edgy — these are the days we lash out and then want to pull the emotions back a bit and feel sorry for flying off the handle. What I realized is no matter how so called “progressives” believe they are spiritually developed and are doing for “the good” of the world, they are just a bunch of animalistic thugs they claim the republicans to be. None of us women had to take marching orders from Hillary. How many people, men or women, have refused to back their party’s nominee? Regarding Hillary, when I start wanting to get mad at her for campaigning for BO in the general elections, I remember that picture of her with her black coat, one hand up, the other holding the microphone, talking in the rain, and that stops my negative thoughts.
I choose to remember Hillary for her hard work in the primary, and how she made me proud. I will remember her words “when the dogs are chasing, keep going”.
I know that along the way, in the near or far future, more information will come out to ponder over and form opinions about.
I also think I can understand the reason why many of her former supporter are feeling so disappointed with her post primary support of BO and the final GE results. I’m not happy with her post primary campaigning and the GE results either.

If we have learned something positive from all this, is that we will not allow any party to take our votes for granted. And yes!, you “whites” need to stop that “white guilt” nonsense. Our ancestors, Caucasian, Asian, Native American, African, at one time or another fought each other, enslaved each other, and even married each other eventually.
Now we are here in America. If we work hard and make good use of our opportunities, we get somewhere. It is very important to have a strong middle class for the survival of a democratic society. So I am a “Brown American”, and guess what, I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

My main gripe is with the MSM that misinformed and misled the general public in an almost traitorous way to push this constitutionally ineligible, and unqualified man (BO), and savagely attacked the two able, accomplished women we had to choose from. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING CONCRETE AND EFFECTIVE AGAINST THIS BEHAVIOR OF THE MSM.
Ultimately, however, the decision and burden falls on me, the voter. We, the voters, decided whether to vote for a particular candidate, whether to leave the presidential slot blank, or whether to just sit at home or go about our business and not vote.

So, if any of you want to rant against Hillary but also feel that you don’t want to, REMEMBER THAT PICTURE OF HER IN THE RAIN, that will give you pause.

A final thought. Since we have observed that millions of dollars and millions of people do count to win an election,
I will suggest we start contributing to
Sara Palin campaign fund twice a month
to help her to a good start for her next run (Senator?). And let’s work on building up the grassroots.

Obama used the name of Jesus Christ to try to get the Christians to vote for him and he used a photo op at the Holy Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to get the Jewish vote. For 20 years he attended a “church” where the pastor cursed and used God’s name in vain from the pulpit, to get the black vote. In my opinion, he might as well of used the “F” word in the “sanctuary,” which I’m sure he has anyway, just never got on tape. And it is very clear about how he and Obama feel about Israel and the Jews.

Am I to assume you’d also instruct the German Christians back in Hitler’s day to pray for the “wisdom and safety of Adolf Hitler? Brothers and sisters, it’s time to check yourselves on that one.

There are far more scriptures in complete contrast to praying for a monster like Obama. I don’t recall Jesus calling for prayer for Caesar, Herod, or even Judas for that matter. Peter did not pray for Ananias and Saphira who came to him with a lie on their lips; and the early Christians did not pray for Nero’s safety and wisdom. In fact, Jesus said He only prays for the ones that the Father has given him, those who’s names are in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

AND I DON’T RECALL JOHN THE BAPTIST PRAYING FOR HEROD: HE SAT OUTSIDE HEROD’S GATES AND DECLARED TO HIM AND THE WORLD THAT HEROD WAS IN VIOLATION OF GOD’S LAW AGAINST ADULTERY. AND HE GOT HIS HEAD CHOPPED OFF FOR IT.

Now we have a man Obama that supports infanticide, homosexual marriage, Islam (praying to the moon god, which YWH forbids), racially divided churches, and splitting the land of Israel, and he accepts worship and adoration as a deity: all of which is far greater sin than Herod marrying his brother’s wife.

No, we’d better pray for the courage to stand in the faith against such a monster.

It is really a sad day that people chose to trust
individuals with their life time investments then
find out they were ripped off because the RNC allowed
this shocking thing to happen. The ones who did allow
the economics of the country to seriously suffer then
have the balls to kick Obama around then make statements about who he selects for his administration. Others cry to the blues that Obama was selected to be the new president yet feel good
about what the RNC done to this country. I hope the
many of them be found then stand in court for mutiny,
or serve serious time for going against the government, and freeze all of their monies. How in the sam this was allowed to happen. Obama is not the

1. 1994>> Through Acorn’s community and legal actions, Sen Obama & other attorneys sued Citibank Federal Savings Bank in Chicago in federal court charging racial discrimination in housing lending.
2. 1998>> They won the case, bank entered into a consent decree to lend money for housing to less qualified buyers with insufficient collateral.
3. 1999>> Clinton administration entered into other consent decrees with other banks. Eventually Fannie Mae (FM) and Freddie Mac (FM) backed these mortgages.
4. FM & FM backed mortgages mainly caused the economic melt down.
5. Through his action and inaction, Sen Obama bares a heavy responsibility for the stock market losses impacting 401ks, retirement, and other income. In 2005, Sen John McCain attempted to prevent this melt down through needed legislation. Dems stonewalled. Sen Obama did nothing.
