NC Teacher for Obama Browbeats Kids

I have school-age kids and many nieces and nephews. I certainly hope this teacher gets no where near them. What else can I say about this video? This is wrong on soooooo many levels.

BTW, this is a North Carolina teacher, From Fayetteville. Fayetteville is where a huge Army base, Fort Bragg, is located. According to the poster at YouTube:

See how she singles out the little white girl and mocks her for having an absent parent, who is off defending the country, and lies to her, saying her Dad would have to stay in Iraq for a hundred years? The little girl was ready to cry! Disgusting.

Hey, my SO already did two tours in Iraq. If this lady said to me what she said to that little girl, we’d have words. Unfortunately, that little girl can’t defend herself against her “teacher.”

I don’t think that an outright endorsement of any candidate should come from the pulpit. I see nothing wrong with discussing how political issues intersect with spiritual issues. However watching Rev Wright’s sermons and when that white dude who tried to sound like an AA guest spoke at Wrights church, would their “sermons” be crossing the line or does this endorsement ban only apply to white churches?

My niece once had a teacher that did the same thing with religion; took a hand count of those who didn’t attend her Church Sunday School class on Monday morning and showed a clear bias toward “her kids”; even had my niece trying to persade her mother to join the teacher’s church. This does interfere with the public education of those who agree and disagree with the teacher. (Those who agree feel superior to their “unenlightened” classmates.)

Everyone needs to email both the school and this teacher. I even emailed the school counselor. This poor child is essentially being told that she is responsible for her daddy not being able to come home. Very cruel and bullying behavior. The discussion could very easily have been presented from both sides.

where Wars have been fought. Again, you really shouldn’t be teaching anyone if you will let your I watched in horror a Finnish Documentary, in which you and your class were featured. I have never seen anybody misuse their authority in such a way. Fayetteville, N.C. must be desperate for School Teachers if they allow you anywhere near children. I think your time would be better off in an ACORN office somewhere planning how to steal another election illegally. I have taken the liberty of passing your video along to some teachers hee in Virginia, and to Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly at FOX Network. I am sure your fifteen minutes of fame are far from over. As a parent, if a Teacher ever said to one of my children what you said to that little girl, I would not rest until that teacher lost her job, and was publically humiliated in the process. We still maintain bases in Germany, Korea, and various other locations blind devotion obscure your vision, and your ability to hear a message as more than a soundbite. One more thing, will the Wars that Obama will be engaging in be less reprehensible in the next four years? From his words, one might hear a desire to escalate troops in Afghanistan, and an invasion of Pakistan, and possibly some Military involvement with Africa, too. I hear he has a cousin there who is a Prime Minister now, a position he obtained as a desperate attempt to quell rioters who were carrying out genocide on Christian Kenyans resulting from his loss of their Election. Africa has lots of oil, I am told, and Odinga might be able to help us be the ones who go in their to fight so that we might do there what we did in Iraq…Welcome to Bush Part Three, you have been PUNKED! With job losses going through the roof foreclosures will be even more prominent. The market will keep declining for years to come. It will take a good 5 years for this to straighten it self out or about the time it took to create this mess to begin with. Obama will be the most ineffective presidents we ever head. Also, why did this teacher harp on US soldiers remaining in Iraq for 100 years? They have been occupying Germany since 1945, that’s about 63 years – as far as I am concerned, 100 years in the Middle East is just right. The teacher may not have known about the troops being stationed in Germany, after all, Mr. Obama may not have been aware or this fact either, otherwise he surely would have visited the wounded soldiers during his glorious foreign tour this summer.

Teachers should have to go through psychological testing before they are certified to teach. This would weed out the bullies that are hurting our children. Nothing scarier than an adult authority figure belittling you in front of your classmates. More often than not, the classmates pick up where the teacher left off. Pathetic, simply pathetic. If she isn’t fired there is no justice in the world. I e-mailed the chiarman of the board and one to her.

My son’s friend came home from school last week and the teacher asked the class who they would vote for. The vast majority of them said “Obama”. When she was done she said “for all of you who like McCain, you really need to speak to your parents”. I’m still trying to find out more info, but I’m steaming mad about this.

CCS Headline News – Superintendent’s Response to YouTube

I was shocked when I saw the clip of an interaction between a Cumberland County Schools teacher and her students as posted on YouTube. While neutral discussion of the political process is appropriate, at no time, particularly with elementary students, should a teacher infuse his/her political views into the discussion. Most disconcerting was the military slant that made its way into this discussion. We are a military community, serving over 15,000 military students and their families. We value the sacrifices, not only of the military parents but also those of their families.

We believe that military children are our children, military spouses are many of our employees, and military service men and women are our heroes. We proudly serve our military children and have received national awards for our support of military families.

I was particularly disturbed to see the uncomfortable position in which our children were placed due to the inappropriate actions of one of our teachers. Please be assured that the actions exhibited in this video are not consistent with the vision of the CCS. Moreover, the actions of one teacher do not represent the 7000 employees in our organization.

Once the video was brought to my attention, I immediately launched an investigation. Personnel laws prevent me from releasing information regarding individual employees and personnel action taken. I can assure you that upon completion of the investigation, I will take appropriate action.

Regardless of what this teacher’s motives were, I don’t believe her curriculum was right out of the teachers’ handbook or given the Go Ahead by the school board. And then she’s wearing a buttom with the Obama or President. In the matter of teaching children about politics, she did not keep a Non-Biased approach to her teachings. No wonder our kids end up acting like retards and graduate with a 4th grade reading level. Who wants to learn as a kid, when you’re told by your teacher that your parents are bad people for their choice? Then again, this teacher didn’t bring up the fact that since Obama came into the political spotlight, he’s spoken many times about redistributing OUR TAX DOLLARS to other people around the world who are less fortunate. That’s not the government money! That’s OUR money. The Soviet Union was a Fascist country and Redistributed the people’s wealth. He also wants to take away any chance of the American People to defend themselves by destroying the 2nd Amendment by taxing our ammunition and guns out of existance. But she didn’t bring that up now did she? This teacher is nothing of a kind. She should be reprimanded to the fullest extent of her contract and placed on probation, pending termination. And if anyone believes that Obama is going to save America from the Enemies of the World, you are sadly mistaken. He has said plainly for years EXACTLY what he is going to do. And to top it all off; He’s not even an American Citizen. I didn’t vote for Obama OR McCain. I did a Write-In vote for Ron Paul. I voted for the best man for the job; not the lessor or two evils. And by the way, I’m an American Indian. So don’t try to play the Racist Card on me.

Teachers are not supposed to reveal their political motives to any student. It is in the constitution, that is a fact. What this teacher did is off the charts. Not only did she reveal her political motives, but she attacked a little girl, one of her students. I am a republican and think that the teacher should be fired, even though she was just “expressing her free speech.” If she was white, she would be out of any school.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. This is also what happens when you allow inept and ignorant people in the teaching profession. This person is a very weak and mindless robot. Only an insecure and weak mental mindset would lead someone to attack a child. This is a form of child abuse. I wonder if the local DA will have the guts to investigate this? If we are really sincere and interested in upholding freedom then we’ll come to the defense of all children and not exclude conservative viewpoints from protection. This teacher is not only a disgrace to her profession, but a disgrace to the human race. I’m sure she’ll expect that her mortgage and car payments will be paid by Obama.
