Rahm Emanuel Hall of Shame * Open Thread

rahm_emanuel_081106_mn.jpgThanks to New Hampster, we have this little tidbit of info, and I hear that the Daily Kossacks are having a HISSY FIT about Emanuel getting this job — those dopes — we tried to tell you KoolAid dipsomaniacs and thugs! At best, Barack Obama is an ordinary politician. At worst, he is so wholly unqualified that he has to hire people who have a clue and who can do things “the Chicago way” and be his enforcers since Obama always out-sources his dirty work! Oh, you idiots!

Emanuel Was Director Of Freddie Mac During Scandal

President-elect Barack Obama’s newly appointed chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, served on the board of directors of the federal mortgage firm Freddie Mac at a time when scandal was brewing at the troubled agency and the board failed to spot “red flags,” according to government reports reviewed by ABCNews.com. According to a complaint later filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Freddie Mac, known formally as the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, misreported profits by billions of dollars in order to deceive investors between the years 2000 and 2002. Emanuel was not named in the SEC complaint (click here to read (SEC complaint)) but the entire board was later accused by the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) (click here to read) of having “failed in its duty to follow up on matters brought to its attention.”

Thanks, NewHampster!

And what other outrages are goin’ on out there?!?!?!?!?

  • Margaret

Well, I just hope all the ‘Democrats’ who voted for the fluffball Obama are happy with what they’re getting…

    • KathyNeocon

Yep. Emanuel’s dead steak knife tirade is the spitting image of Robert DeNiro’s Al Capone tirade in the The Untouchables concerning Eliot Ness, “I want his family DEAD” “I want …. DEAD” “I want his house burned to the ground” etc. etc. Like Connery said in than in the movie, “That’s the Chicago Way,” and it’s on its way to the Capitol, thanks to 50M plus Obots.

    • KathyNeocon

Well, I just hope all the ‘Democrats’ who voted for the fluffball Obama…

More like a hairball is what I meant to say.

    • tzada

Speaking of voting for……lQQky here. Didn’t BO harp on and on about himself being (actually lied) and said “voted” against the Iraq war.

Emanuel was also the only Chicago Democrat in Congress to vote for the Iraq war in 2003.

  • tzada

What was shocking to me was the Jewish vote being 77% for BO. Guess maybe they knew the fix was in for Rahm.

Besides BO likes radicals and Rahm’s father Benjamin was a designated terrorist according to the British. Plus BO and Rahm come from the belly of the beast Chicago Politics.

    • McPalin

67% Hispanics and Latinos for BHO? WTF? I do not believe this…77% Jews for BHO WTF? I do not believe this. We have been bamboozled and it’s scary…

      • Soldier of Christ

You can blame Hillary for this one- Latinos love her and they followed her over the cliff.

        • John Smith

Anybody who think that she will run again is also drinking kool-aid. The Clintons are done once and for all. Bill will be a very old man by 2016 and Hillary will be close to 70. So you can forget for her to ever run again for President. In two years anybody who backed this guy will be out of office including her.

          • Aleph

I agree with you, John; it’s a sad thing about Hillary. Even politicians are sometimes required to take ethical stands.

          • Newly Independent

            Yep.

Any Hillary supporters left harboring illusions of her running again (and winning) the White House in 2012 now are just plain stuck on stupid.

      • Julia

Latinos did their own deal after Clinton’s sink. What did they can do? McCain couldn’t bring them to his side. It was a McCain’s campaign failure

  • bert

How fitting that Obama picked a Chicago thug to be his chief of staff. Nothing sends a bigger sign of what his administartion will be like than this. Birds of a feather and all that.

  • http://www.partizane.com NewHampster

Why do I keep thinking of the Fox being turned loose in the Hen House?

    • jbjd

Maybe because I posted previously that only people so stupid as to have put the fox in charge of the hen house in the first place would subsequently be surprised to discover him feathering his nest.

      • oowawa

I love this analogy jbjd. And as Foxy Loxy sits cozy in his newly feathered nest, feathers hanging out of his mouth, the worshipful hens sit gazing at their new Messiah in reverent admiration. Hope. Change.

The American people are not going to be told the truth about the economic disaster.

This country should be up in arms, with pitchforks and torches, going to Washington and demanding all of them to leave town or else put on treason charges.

That includes all of them. Now I have to point fingers at the Democrats for being the ones primarily responsible for the policies at FM as well as the ones who impeded the abuse discoveries and reform.

But where were the Republicans? True, they held hearings.. they held Raines responsible.

But did they believe their own words? DId they take themselves seriously when they said tht our entire economy would be at risk if Fannie Mae failed?

Did they warn the public about what might happen?

No they didn’t. As is all too common this decade, our Govt has failed to tell the People just what the hell is going on.. and why things are important. This is Bush’s problem too.

So all of them contributed to this mess.

  • benny

crazy Rahm as chief of staff. Can anything get worse? It’ll be a dogfight with the repubs. and thank God the dems dont have supermajority. but all decisions will be delayed cos Rahm will bait the repubs, and there will be repercussions. a bad start from obama.

    • wodiej

well no decisions being passed in this case would be a godsend.

    • McPalin

I sense this pick for Rahm is to cover up the current corruption with Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid’s finger prints all over this. Nancy is dictating BHO’s picks no doubt. :(

      • benny

        you’re right.

    • heather

and my state Governor, Jennifer “I’m gonna raise taxes til I get what I need out of you” Granholm is giving him advice as well. Michigan has suffered under her (for the lack of a better word) leadership, and yet she’s being rewarded by the administration. Better they should all put their fingers in their ears and sing “la-la-la” while she speaks!

Well, you know, worst case scenario, with Obama, would be him not understanding why he, say, needs to learn the implications of Russian intervention in Iran, feeling resentful he has actual work to do…

So, it can’t really be THAT bad, now, can it?

  • karen

I’ve prayed more for our country these past few months than I ever have.

I need to step it up and pray some more.

    • benny

      • Cubs (or Dodgers) 09

        Let’s all “step it up.”

  • Soldier of Christ

Well…what really bothers me is the API report and the Berg ordeal, and of course let us not forget the Corsi crap. All these stuff could have helped the public see the real Obama. What happen to all these tapes and sound bits? Corsi, made such a big show about things that he had- that I believe he was full of hot air- I hope nobody falls and buys his forsaken book. The API looked like some africans just trying to bait the readers, and Berg hasn’t done anything else to bring this up to the BIG SUPREME COURT WHERE CLEARANCE THOMAS RESIDES. I knew the whitey tape was probably real but kept by the Clinton people or others that didn’t want to hurt Obama’s chance- but Berg and Corsi? Whatever happen to these characters? We know what happened to Larry Sinclair- nothing. Nobody believed him anymore or just was tired to giving and nothing happening in the news- Now we have Rahm- the guy who gave a dead fish to a pollster for chief staff- my..my..as the world spins…….

    • tzada

This is something here we can do and it mentions Bergs suit and others as well.

I am thankful for Berg’s hard work and at the same time I feel it would be worse for the country at this point if Obama’s citizenship became a major issue.

I do not like Obama, I never will, but at this point I just want to see what he’s going to do. Let him sink or swim on his own.

        • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

Sorry, at this point and after BO’s non-economic speech I would do anything to make sure he never gets to the White House. He doesn’t deserve it and shouldn’t be there.

    • http://home.comcast.net/~vincep312 VinceP1974

I’d cut Berg some slick.. He did way more than most.

And his appeal to the Supreme Court has not been rejected.

The Supreme Court gave Obama until Dec 1 to file a brief as to why the SC should not hear the appeal.

      • Pennsylvania Red

This blows my mind, that the Berg lawsuit made it up to SCOTUS.

I doubt they will take Berg’s side, but just the fact it made it to the highest judicial venue of the country is stunning.

And NO MSM has covered it – none. I don’t even think Fox did.(a local Fox affiliate in Ohio did, I don’t even think the PHilly Fox station did, even though Berg is in the Philly burbs).

        • Chicago Joe

Stunning, isn’t it? I had breakfast with a friend this morning, and she assumed I had voted for Obama as I am well-known as a liberal and Bush-hater. She was shocked when I told her that I hadn’t, and then when I ran down the laundry list of reasons. She hadn’t heard of most of them, and I told her that the media (and its controllers) had selected the candidate. She knew I was devastated about Hillary and then thought I would fall in line. Well, I have no intention of falling in line, and I hope that there are others who will stand fast and demand honesty, transparency and competency from this administration. I hope he turns all his Kossacks against him soon rather than later.

    • Typewriterstreaming

Soldier – one point about Berg – yes he does have his case filed with the Supreme Court. He is waiting for two things 1)the response from Obama if one is coming 2)the decision as to whether or not the Supreme Court will agree to hear the case.
You can follow this at AmericasRight blog
Sorry to be an Euyore but I really don’t have a lick of hope they’ll do a damn thing. It’s really an absurdity. Who set up a system that doesn’t get enforced anyway?

Rahm Emanuel … Ah, reminds me of those heady days of Haldeman and Ehrlichman.

Yes Doc, then and now, the names roll off the tongue like poetry–Raaaahm Emanuellll–like the reverent sound of a bell on Obamamas Eve. The names “Haldeman” and “Ehrlichman” were great, but “Olbermann” and “Axelrod” are even better! Good solid soldierly names. Good names for lieutenants who carry out the dirty work. Holy Barack Obama! Historians with a poetic bent are going to love writing about these times.

    • elliewyatt

Yes, the good old days. Are you old enough to remember the song?

      Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell And Dean
      (written by Bob Warren)
sung by The CREEP (Mr. G. Records, G-826, c1973)
      transcribed by Annie Sattler

We’re Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean
The way we’ve been treated is really obscene
To think that a bug worth hardly a shrug
Could end up by getting us tossed in the jug

We all got the gate for no reason or rhyme
You’d think we’d committed some horrible crime
Our minds may be dirty, but our hands are clean
We’re Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean

We’re Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean
Our job was to see that the White House stayed green
We might have had flaws, like bending the laws
But God only knows it was for a good cause

There’s no power shortage where we were concerned
And what little profit resulted, we earned
For lovlier fellows you never have seen
Than Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean

We’re Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean
Our past has been fat, but the future looks lean
With backs to the wall, we’re taking the fall
But dammit, we only robbed Pete to pay Paul

Just when we getting to be well-to-do
The Watergate turned into our Waterloo
And now everybody is out to demean
Poor Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean

Yes, we’re Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean
We’re perfectly willing to spill every bean
We’ve nothing to hide, with God on our side
He knows we were only along for the ride

But so it won’t come as terrible blow
There’s one little thing that we think you should know
Whatever we say isn’t quite what we mean
We’re Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean

Oh yes, we’re Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean
Things won’t be the same when we’re gone from the scene
But people will still recall with a thrill
Our sell-out performance on Capitol Hill

It just isn’t fair to take all of the blame
When all we were doing was playing the game
Now all of Washington’s caught in between
      Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean

I’ve often wondered why Israel has been silent on Obama, who has anti-Zionist ties (Wright, Trinity, et al).

Emanuel is a strong supporter of AIPAC – a clear signal to Israel. One could only imagine the back-door communications that took place to foster such placidity in this election process…or not.

I was just on the phone with a talent agent in Hollywood at CAA. She and I both know Rahm’s brother Ari, who is major talent agecy owner. First thing she said was “LOSER” laughing at me because OButtcrack won. I told her it wasn’t that HE won, it was that AMERICA LOST. I said nice job on Rahm…She said yeah, she knows. Not a great choice. “Great idea to have someone in the White House who will send a steaming turd to your office if you piss him off.” I don’t think the liberals are happy either. I then told her that I was glad HER party had to clean up the mess HER party made with Fannie and Freddie, and that as soon as O’Buttcrack screws up and bankrupts the nation the GOP will be happy to take over Congress in 2010 and the WH in 2012. That shut her up. I made a bet with her that in six months I will be calling HER the “LOSER.” I love being right, although I am sad that it is at the expense of my country.

      Dont know for sure, though.

    • fluffy bunny

I’m extremely concerned about the GOP though. A lot of the power brokers over there see the McCain loss as their signal to make the party into the all abortion and gay marriage all the time party.

I’ll just say no to that.

So I’m really worried for what kinds of candidates the GOP will put forward in 2010. If they find fiscal hawks, awesome. If they drag out the social cons, well, I’m back with the democrats…if they can find sane candidates.

    • McPalin

I and many of my friends cashed out our 401k’s before we lose anymore money..or worse have it seized. That’s what’s up with the market. Everyone is cashing out, laying off employees who were Obama supporters, and preparing to pay higher taxes to head off higher taxes by opening offshore accounts.
As Sugar says…”umm ummm, hunker down and cut back because it’s only going to get worse with Nobama in there.”

      • benny

        thats very wise of you.

      • JoseyJ

At the press conference today, Obama was asked a simple question about his promise to raise taxes.
He didn’t answer the question, and instead knocked Nancy Reagan.

I understand this country’s love for Israel, but I do think that no objective observer can say that America has been even-handed and fair to the Palestinians. But I knew Obama wouldn’t change anything. The only way to change that issues and to realize that often times America might be hurting its own interests if it follows Israel’s is to have a dialogue with the American people without being considered a terrorist sympathizer or anti-semite. We can’t expect any President to tackle this problem. Obama kool-aid drinkers need some help.

THey have no army or anything. HOw else will they resist occupation? I agree with President Bush that there must be a two-state solution. But why can’t we have an honest dialogue about whether or not everything the Israeli GOVERNMENT not Israeli citizens, is appropriate or fair or even helpful to American interests?

Through negotiation, protests, even war, and last time I checked, Hamas has plenty of weapons. To go and kill yourself while taking as many civilians with you as possible as a form of “resistance” is depraved and evil. IT’S PLAIN OLD MURDER.

Again, I have no sympathy for people who claim their religion gives them the right to murder other people. It’s wrong and barbaric. I’m all for Israel standing her ground and keeping all of that land.

I agree with you Kathy. After years of being sympathetic to the Palestinian cause while at the same time they say “Peace” in English but “Kill the Jews” in Arabic, I have discovered that the Palestinians have used the opportunity that autonomy has given them to raise a new generation of killers eager to kill Jews for the sake of Allah.

I have come to see the Palestinians as barbaric savage people.

Does he look like hell? It’s going to get worse. He should be scared right now. He has no idea what he is doing and the world knows it. His coronation reminds me of when I was younger and living in NYC. I bullshitted my way to getting hired for many jobs.
I had no idea how to do the job so and since I claimed I knew what I was doing, in the final end I looked like a fool and failed. Well I was a young and dumb 19yr old but what’s Barky’s excuse? He’s old and dumb.

      • Julia

Yeah the world knows he’s a dumb! Berlusconi “he’s young, handsome, even tanned” (maybe a celebrity??), Sarkozy “he’s unexperienced”, Russia slap him the first day of his coronation, finnish people made a documentary about obots showing them as they are, monsters. Good enough for a few days and I don’t know anything about China and Japan

  • Dark Knight

he was horrible in the speech

  • http://www.anvp.typepad.com soldier4hillary

GOOD GOD! Obama’s press conference was HORRIBLE! My brother in Japan, who is in a entire different time zone said it was bad enough to tell me to take my measly savings out of the bank and put it in a shoe box under my bed! He had like a whole group of people looking LOST standing behind him. He “believes” and “thinks” his tax plain is better? That IS NOT WHAT THE FU@k he said before.

We are doomed. We are UP SHIT CREEK. This man is lost. When he exited the stage everyone was just looking as if they didnt know what to do next. It’s like he is playing president instead of being one. He had NOOO answers!

      stocks are going down again.

      • McPalin

I sense doom. People with money earned it and do not want to lose it because of some wealthy guy pretending to be a leader/presdident, who got his money from donations..or embezzlement rather than earnings.
When will there be bank runs?

        • final2weeksgone

MY husband works 80 plus hours a week to get some money put away for our retirement and it is going up in smoke. May as well have stayed home and sat back with a beer. Oh wait thats Obi’s plan.

      • KathyNeocon

I now have no stocks in my 401k.

        • McPalin

OMG. It’s about to happen to lots of people. At least 1 trillion $ has been lost in the markets since Barky heited the presidential seat. That’s only a couple days ago….argh

      • JoseyJ

        When Obama talks, stocks fall….
And the 2 day post-election stock market drop is unprecedented in U.S. history.

    • benny

soldier, stuff your savings into your pillows. that’ll be safer. your brother is wise. believe me, it ain’t a joke.

      • final2weeksgone

I wonder how sales are going on fire proof safes, might be worth an investment.

      • http://www.anvp.typepad.com soldier4hillary

What is even more jacked up is the fact that nine out of ten of those in the military don’t realize how this shit is affecting them. We have this thing called the thrift savings plan and I have been asking for weeks will this financial crisis effect it since we put x amount in each month. I still havent gotten an answer back. Now I am getting worried especially after what my brother said.

ALOT of military people put money into this savings plan and instead of answers I am getting crickets. My brother said he has been watching closely so I was suprised he said that because he is all about “saving for your future”.I am reading a email now from my aunt in DC in another window and she stated her 401k is gone. I am not even going to pretend I know what all of this means but I damn sure hope someone on here can tell me because they are in panic mode. And it is scaring the crap out of me.

        • Susan1968

Because her 401K was invested in stocks — the stock tank, she loses all the interest and sometimes the principal too.

You had better check to see if your money is in stocks or a money market.

Check you balance to see if stock drops diminished your total balance.

If you can withdraw without huge fees I’d say take your money out and put it in a regular savings account that’s insured.

        • McPalin

Yes soldier. 1 trillion was lost in the last week. In the least few days before the election tons of people had lost half of their 401k. remove it now before it disappears. The savings fund of yours will likley be seized.

        • final2weeksgone

My sister who has a masters in economics told me to put everything into T bills even with a loss. She said you can go back in after 30 days. I talked to my advisor today and he sent me something from two weeks ago. Things have changed a lot in just two weeks. I am really scared.

    • athena

The big problem and why he looks so awful…..He has been getting those National Security briefings the past few days and NOW knows just how many countries want to blow us off the map – and isn’t sleeping so well now and……he knows his foreign policy will have to change.

Oh, and they also probably told him about the aliens in area 51 that are chanting his name because apparently he is “THE ONE” they have been waiting for…….lol. just funnin with ya!

      • tillthen

Thanks for the warning. I respect this site and if they say don’t go there, I won’t; but, if I find credible sources on Google that intimate a Chicago politico/mob connection to the murders, I will post. I think its important to remind people that there have been multiple maximum-loss-of-liberties, meaning lives, connected with the people in this election, and its not just coincidence.

I wouldn’t put anything past the campaign staff and their friends. Its amazing how flamboyant and cavalier they have been throughout, never letting up a bit anywhere in the misdeeds. Do you think they have gone further than what is generally recognized as fact? Hmmm.

    • JoseyJ

I don’t know about the Obamas’ connection to Donald Young, but considering Michelle’s “halloween” dress Tues. night, they may be related to the Addams Family.

Well I just sat and listened to out President elect, now why for the hell of me did I think I was going to get some great news, some kind of direction as to where this country is heading, some plan, something??

Unfortunately all I got was, well am not the President as yet so let the other fella who is still there deal with this mess.

No I know Bush is still there, and technically he still is our President till Jan, but come on is this all Obama has to offer? My god I must say I thought with all these big economic meeting he was having all the transition bs that I was hearing about for days, I would of gotten more than that.

Instead I heard his daughter is allergic and he may get this kind of dog or a Mutt like him, as a people are we frigging serious??

    • http://www.anvp.typepad.com soldier4hillary

My Obot fiancee is even stunned. He was the one yelling my name to come and look at the tragedy unfolding. I am scared shitless right now. I am supporting my aunt that raised me by sending home each month to help out.But this, this what I just witnessed was downright pathetic.

Times are really hard for people and I was riding on McCain/Palin to get in because she sounded like she had new ideas. What can we expect from the Dems? They hold the majority and have not done jack shit. So WHY would anyone expect something different?

I dont have alot in my savings because of helping them but I dont know about taking my money out. This is just horrible.

      • requiredreading

Soldier — I wouldn’t take your money out precipitously. If you don’t need money in your 401k for a while (like – a decade), the advice is usually to ride out the bad times because historically (since the 19th century) the stock market has always swung back and the account balances recover. Some people have been writing here that this is different and could be a disaster, I’m not expert enough to know. But please make sure to ask many people who do know before you take a loss by closing your account. My retirement savings, and my husband’s, are in 401(k)s and we’re leaving it put since we won’t be accessing for at least another 10 years…..

      Not for me, thanks.

It’s like warring with your ex, at the expense of the kids, it’s counterproductive, really, only harming those least able to defend themselves.

In defiance of the Constitution, in this case, as with Cheney, and Bush, a counter coup is just as illegal, and stupid, and treasonous.

You can’t despise someone for stealing an election (ok, you can), but you can’t use that excuse to justify an illegal act of your own, two wrongs don’t make a right, it’s even MORE harmful to the nation.

      • Betty Lou

Obama has already f*cked up, on his own, his campaign did, really, he’s chosen to go permanent campaign, meaning he has no policy, he thinks the presidency is simply a matter of PR management.

He’ll destroy himself, just like Cheney.

For my money, his presidency was DOA.

How can ANYONE feel secure witnessing that press conference? I COULD of done better than that. I am not trying to be overly negative but, if WE see how jacked up he is, our enemies will to. He has just proved we are screwed on national television. If you could of seen the faces of all those people behind him looking like they were playing “dress up” you would of been sick to your stomach.

Back in the Clinton days, I always kind of liked Rahm Emmanuel….until I found out he had problems with Hillary or vice versa. Hillary I use as a gold standard to judge other politicians because I think Hillary has more integrity than the vast majority of the Washington politicians and because I think she is one of few that genuinely cares about the welfare of this country (versus the coming of the New World Order).

Emmanuel further dropped in my estimation when I discovered that, as a Congressman, he wasn’t interested in pursuing 9/11 investigations. He further dropped when I discovered he had such a blatant conflict of interest with respect to Israel. He has now further dropped with this current piece of information related to Freddie Mac.

I read another internet article quoting Lindsey Graham as saying he thought this was a good choice because of Emmanuel’s experience…Graham said he’s tough but fair. I do believe Senator Graham is known as a bit of a hawk. He’s not harping and screaming as I recall him doing in certain other situations. That means something.

Fine, wonderful, but whose interests is Emmanuel representing? He just might turn out to be Barky Obama’s Dick Cheney.

    What a crock!

Obama’s Pick for Chief of Staff Tops Recipients of Wall Street Money

Published by Lindsay Renick Mayer on November 5,
      2008

A day after being elected president and acknowledging “the worst financial crisis in a century,” Barack Obama asked one of the biggest recipients of Wall Street campaign contributions to be his chief of staff.

Rep. Rahm Emanuel, the Illinois congressman who was an aide in the Clinton White House, was the top House recipient in the 2008 election cycle of contributions from hedge funds, private equity firms and the larger securities/investment industry–not the most popular of industries in the current economy. Since being elected to Congress in 2002, after working as an investment banker, Emanuel has received more money from individuals and PACs in the securities and investment business than any other industry.

I don’t know if this is true- but it came from someone who knows someone from the inside. So, remember I am getting it through 5 people- hopefully I have it right- It seemed that Palin was asked by someone either in her campaign, a supporter or a friend, what she was going to do now that she lost. The person thought she was going to say something about governing or anything else but “I am going to be on the Media.!” Now, remember Palin has a degree in Journalism- and if this rumor is true- G-D BLESS YOU GIRL- GO AFTER THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She’s really gone to the heart of the problem, which is the message that gets to people. I’m sure we’d all be shocked at how much untruth we’ve been fed in the past if we could know. Personally, I’d like more transparency and questioning of whatever information we’re given, and that’s why I like the blog method. It’s messy, but the interactive nature means people can quickly confront a story. The other hope for information clarity is the ubiquitous video camera.

How long can the KosKids remain in denial — they were Obamaboozled.

David Bonior (Member House of Representatives 1977-2003)

Warren Buffett (Chairman and CEO, Berkshire Hathaway)-will participate via speakerphone

William Daley (Chairman of the Midwest, JP Morgan Chase; Former Secretary, U.S. Dept of Commerce, 1997-2000)

William Donaldson (Former Chairman of the SEC 2003-2005

Roger Ferguson (President and CEO, TIAA-CREF and former Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve

Jennifer Granholm (Governor, State of Michigan

Anne Mulcahy (Chairman and CEO, Xerox)

Richard Parsons (Chairman of the Board, Time Warner)

Penny Pritzker (CEO, Classic Residence by Hyatt

Robert Reich (University of California, Berkeley; Former Secretary, U.S. Dept of Labor, 1993-1997)

Robert Rubin (Chairman and Director of the Executive Committee, Citigroup; Former Secretary, U.S. Dept of Treasury, 1995-1999)

Eric Schmidt (Chairman and CEO, Google)

Lawrence Summers (Harvard University; Managing Director, D.E. Shaw; Former Secretary, U.S. Dept of Treasury, 1999-2001)

Laura Tyson (Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley; Former Chairman, National Economic Council, 1995-1996; Former Chairman, President’s Council of Economic Advisors, 1993-1995)

Antonio Villaraigosa (Mayor, City of Los Angeles)

Paul Volcker (Former Chairman, U.S. Federal Reserve 1979-1987

Yet notice NOT ONE PERSON FROM A LABOR UNION!!!

I repeat not one UNION LEADER in the “Transition Team.”

I guess Google’s CEO took your place.

Hey Union guys — seems Obama is ignoring you after you stabbed Hillary in the back.

And it gets better — this morning on MSNBC they talked about other people rumored to soon be in Obama’s Administration.

Every last one of them was a CHICAGO POLITICIAN or Chicago “Business Leader.”

Months ago I said the corrupt Daley-Machine would be running DC if Obama was elected.

I had hoped I was wrong!

You know what — the next 4 years could possibly be worse for average Americans than the last 8 years.

ACORN Rent-A-Mob Demands More Welfare Housing in L.A.

By Matthew Vadum Wednesday, October 1, 2008

The vote fraud factory known as ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is apparently supporting Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s crazy push for $5 billion in so-called affordable housing.

As the nation stares into the economic abyss precisely because of housing-related tomfoolery, Villaraigosa’s plan calls for $1 billion in government to be spent as part of the $5 billion housing project.

The mayor essentially admitted that his plan is insane.

“I know that budgets are tight . . . credit is almost nonexistent,” said the apparently psychotic Villaraigosa. “But we’re going to reject the cynics . . . and build a brighter future for those kids who are in the corner over there.”

“And this isn’t the first time Villaraigosa has procured ACORN’s rent-a-mob services.

According to an LA Weekly report, ACORN received nearly $73,000 from an education-related pressure group founded by the mayor. The money went for campaign consulting services, travel and “meetings and appearances.”

Right, I would just watch the money, really interesting seeing Rham’s connection to Fannie and Freddie, and then to the whole IL fundraising scam.

First thing Tony Rezko did after Blago was elected was staff that insipid hospital board(of which Obama was part), also appropriating the IL pension funds, or parts, thereof, (for which he was convicted, btw — inconvenient facts!).

I just watched a few minutes of Oblama’s first press-conference, as this is all I could stomach. Here are a few questions/observations:

I have NEVER seen another President-Elect do this…

We need a real Patriot Act that brings out the patriot in all of us by establishing, for the first time, an ethic of universal citizen service.

Does this mean we have our grandchildren or children serve in the army like in the early 60s by showing our patriotism. Isn’t these the same words spoken in the 60s when we wanted to get the war over and fast and started the draft? Can someone look in the 60s- this sounds very familar to me- I believe I was wearing beads around that time and protesting the war. It sounds very familar to me. Well, I might be wrong- but if it is what I think it means- getting the war over and fast- I will pray for your children and grandchildren.

Three-fourths of the Jewish vote for Bobo?! OMG. Get out the Bible and Nostradamus’s Prophesies! Why on earth would any Jew vote for a man who’s flip-flopped all over the place about Israel? Self-hating ones might, I guess! So much about all this makes no sense!

We know, NONE of the CZARS (OMG) were vetted. Can anyone imagine Rahm Emanuel? What would THAT vetting look like? I heard his father was a hit man for the Israeli government in the 40′s. Rahm is in his element.
