Personally, I hope they dare try to go forward with the fairness doctrine.

We now have documented the unfairness. It will blast the editorial policies of every major news media RIGHT OUTTA THE WATER.

Fox turned out to offer more balance than any of them did.

So go ahead. Bring it on.

<strong>Hillary Clinton took far more hits than Sarah Palin has even encountered thus far.
From the C word, the B word, pimping Chelsea, everything was up for grabs.
It doesnt make it any less wrong when it is done to Hillary, Sarah or ourselves.
We thought we had overcome much of the ugliness that came to the forefront during this election. We thought that those men who are in power would be role models to our nation of young men, they failed miserably, nothing has changed.
Although it was ugly and hard to look at, it has told us much about the types of men and women we are electing to run our government.
If we cant count on our own leaders to say enough is enough, stop this sexism, stop tearing down those women who have done so much for our country, some much more than any man we have put into office, yet by their silence they condoned those actions.
We could not even count on our women in office to stand up for women.
We need to rid our government of all those who are too busy working on their own agendas to speak up.
We need to make the DNC accountable, the MSM accountable, and our government officials accountable. We can do this by voting them out of office one by one, turning off our televisions and not watching those stations that condoned and even got a kick out of this sexist behavior.
We need to quit buying those publications that printed those words that our most prominent women were called.
We have the power, lets use it before Obama takes our rights away one by one, and we no longer recognize our Constitution.</strong>

Hmmm...if Obama proves to be ineligible and Biden becomes prez, guess who becomes veep? That could go a long way toward explaining Pelosi's alliance with Plastic Jesus.

The argument against abortion is neither religious nor fallacious. In fact, your argument in favor of abortion rights is a fallacious. Trying to frame it as a women's rights issue or an issue of "choice" is the true distraction. The issue of abortion is about life and death of an innocent human being, not CHOICE or WOMEN'S EQUALITY. If the unborn child is human, then abortion is murder. There are laws against murder in every state and they are not framed as "religious" based laws. People are not given a "choice" if they want to murder their spouse or neighbor, etc. Furthermore nobody with any intelligence would make the argument that murder should be a choice because not allowing it would be the same as forcing people to murder each other. Your entire post is complete nonsense.

Newly Independs writes: <i>Brokaw waited until AFTER THE ELECTION to say this. </i>

The Rose-Brokaw interview was conducted on the 30th of October. The election was on the 4th of November.

Which event occurred earliest? A calendar may help you to decide. If you don't know what a calendar is, get Mommy to show you one.

Sure they've noticed the drop reader and viewership.

Right now, AAs and Botheads are buying up newspapers hungry for photos and news of B0. But that will surely end.

Hang in there.

Patience is required from here on.

Just hold on!

I'm not going to stand up for women for awhile and here's why:

They have to eat a bit more shit so that they can wake up and smell the coffee. I'm really annoyed at all the women who voted for 0bama and trashed Hillary and Palin.

Frankly, I don't care if 0bama names one woman to his Cabinet. Ditto AAs. I want to see exactly how much shit these people are willing to eat before they choke on it and get mad. So I won't be putting any pressure on the president-<em>select</em>.

Let his true colors show.

On another thread I explained how Hillary's staying in the race gave 0bama a pass with the msm and may very well have helped him more than any of her campaigning.

You have to give someone with this much narcisissm
and ego enough room to tear their own ass.

My initial shock/anger/despair/depression is already waning. I'm in patience mode and channeling Job.

My strategies for the time being are really pushing the post-racial/racism is over on AAs and not supporting women.

All the while watching events as they unfold and commenting as necessary.

What made me arrive at this state of mind was Republicans staying home. They didn't want the WH this go 'round and there's nothing we can do about that. Also, Latinos went 67% for 0bama. He also won the Jewish vote and the female vote. It wasn't just the AA community.

What that tells me is that we were never able to make the case against him in the minds of the American voters. And without the msm, we lost.

But I'm not fooled. Pelosi's remark about governing from the center is a clue. So was Howard Dean's absence from the scene these last months. The Democratic Party is in disarray. Loyal Dems are not making contributions and so they are going to have to rely on these new voters. Pelosi, Dean, et al, know that the big money donors that bundled money are not their <em>bread and butter</em>. They will go whichever way the wind blows.

It was a tough and bitter pill to swallow at first, but 0bama's first decisions made the pill digest a whole lot easier. Picking all these Clinton people is hilarious. CHANGE! LMAO!

I'm going to find one of those <em>'change' </em>signs, wait and when everything goes south hang it in my window for laughs.

Yes, this is going to be good.

Just wait.

I canceled my WaPo subscription and made sure they knew why. Most of the newspapers are suffering. I think we should continue to cancel subscriptions to these "might have been pro-Obama" rags and be sure to send a follow-up letter to let them know why.
