More Pakistani Terrorism in India

The Pakistani Inter Service Intelligence agency (aka ISI) is at it again–three bombs exploded in Mumbai, India today killing at least 13 and wounding more than 80. In the past we’ve always labeled near simultaneous bombs as an “Al Qaeda” tactic. Wrong. It is not Al Qaeda, it is a fingerprint of Pakistan’s ISI. The bagmen for this terrorist attack is most likely the Lashkar Tayyiba aka Army of the Pure aka LET. LET is based, funded and trained by Pakistan. Period.
India now has causus belli towards Pakistan. It is time for the United States and the rest of the world to line up squarely behind India and draw a line in the sand with Pakistan. Pakistan is a terrorist state and is responsible for more acts of terrorism than Iran, Syria and Libya combined.
Don’t get me wrong. There is a sizeable minority in Pakistan that are pro-West and eschew terrorism. They are urbane, cultured and refined. But there also are the thugs and murderers in the Army and the Inter Services Intelligence agency who are fueled by a vision of radical Islam and a fear of India and the Shias.
Nail ‘Em Ups piece covers the first step of the United States in moving towards a new, potentially hostile, relationship with Pakistan. We can no longer afford to ignore Pakistan’s facilitation of terrorism. Its hands are bloody.
Pakistan’s military crazies are trying to put a brave face on the loss of the US aid. They are threatening to go to China. Super!! Fucking go. Let the Chicoms eat this shit sandwich. Do you really think China is eager to pony up hundreds of millions of dollars for the Pak military? Hell no. China will be happy to sell Pakistan what Islamabad can pay for, but the Pakis are not sitting on a mountain of cash.
Time has come for the U.S. to recall its Ambassador to Pakistan. This will send a tough, harsh message to the Paki military. We cannot continue to pretend that Pakistan is a genuine ally in the war on Islamic extremism. It is not. It is now Pakistan’s task to figure out what it wants to be–a terrorist sponsoring state or a civilized nation. Stark but simple.
