I currently don’t have a mortgage, but I believe I will get one so that 0bannion can pay it for me.

I want my mortgage paid for, too, but I am caucasian and actually went to college to quintuple my income after my divorce because I worked only part time in a crappy job to be home with the kids more. I thought America was the land of the free where you could be anything you wanted if you worked hard for it. Then I find out the joke is on me. If your skin is the right color and you are a fantastic con artist, then you can be anything you want and take advantage of the real Americans who like stupid saps worked hard for what they have so that now unAmerican leader can take it from you.

Boy do I feel stupid.

But I do think when we have a conversation about this in a year or two, I will be the one who doesn’t feel stupid anymore.

Actually this is true. I started to short the stock market after Election Day. Dow has since dropped 9%. Thanks Obama for paying my gas and rent.

I don’t know about you guys, but, it scares me after I saw Obama give out his first press speech the other day. He had a black eye. I remember in my youth when I celebrated all night and drinking, smoking and having fun with my friends. I would get up with a major hangover and my eyes black from the lack of sleep. This is the first man I see not a “fresh” and “prepared” man in front of millions of people. I saw Bush the next day he was picked by the Supreme Court, he was fresh, and ready to lead. I remember seeing Clinton the next day, fresh, and prepared when he went in front of the press. This shows that Obama is too young still to understand the word “prepared” for the job. Imagine a hangover and some country bomb us and the wrong decision made due to lack of sleep? That is scary. All ready he is reversaling some of the executive decisions implemented by Bush. The release of those extermist in Cuba. Where the hell do you think these guys are going to be in waiting for court hearings the next few years? Yep, right in this country. Be prepared to see a bunch of muslim extermist in this country in the months to go. The fair doctrine is being composed, and why? So, the man does not have anyone against him in radio or airwaves. The big pictures that are being created by artist and are shooting up as we speak are many , why? So, his image is worshipped. Be careful , I say, because right in his hometown Chicago zip code 060606, the lotto number that was announced on the next day that he was elected was 666 from the same zipcode 060606. Check it out on November 5, 2008 midnight. Let us hope this is not the man who sets the stage for the Anti-Christ, because we know he is wounded in the old doctrines. Let us hope that he is another phoney false prophet predicted by Yeshua that is trying to be the “One”.

It’s just really hard to fathom that there are people who actually believe that this man will do these things.

Somewhere deep down inside of me, I wish I would like to believe that these people are pulling my leg. It’s beyond depressing to live among this kind of stupidity.

Heard a lot of reports about this. I actually feel bad for Obama about this. He can do nothing, yet he’ll take the brunt when the worst happens. I have been working for the past 31 years. Started at Arby’s when I was in high school. I am starting my last year of college-it’s hard work. I own a home and do most of the work myself. I keep it nice and that takes alot of my time. That means I have to sacrifice on other things to have this. I am not married nor do I have one single person helping me except the capitalist bank I work for. They give me a job at good wages, a pension and very reasonably priced health, dental and life insurance. They are even helping me w my college tuition. Not bad for capitalism. I had to get some college loans that I will have to repay but I do not feel anyone owes me free college, gas, mortgage or free anything else.

People may think having a black president is going to fix them all up. I guarantee you it won’t. If anything it will make things worse. Until people start taking care of their own business instead of expecting someone else too, they will fail.

We all know El Presidente Barky Oblahblah has no where to go but down. He is a fake media creation, full of false hope and promises. He can’t deliver. His followers will turn on him. But, will it be swift and sudden fall? Or a slow and steady exodus?
Will his decline be marked by a show of public disapproval or just private individual disappointment? Interesting to contemplate! I think it all depends on whether the MSM abandons him or not.

I think I would be more concerned with whether someone could or would pay a mortgage than with whether they could spell it. It has been my experience that education, or even level of intelligence, isn’t indicative of someone’s willingness or ability to work hard and pay their bills.

Free health care? He was quite clear, if you don’t have insurance he will give you the same opportunity to buy the same health care policy that members of Congress have. You will be able to get on that same opportunity.

And if you have health insurance, nothing will change except he will work to get the premiums lower, about 25 hundred dollars lower. How? By requiring and promoting prevention programs and electronic data retrival of medical records.

Now was what the subliminal message or overtone of the first. If you do not have insurance, the government will pay for you the same share they pay for members of Congress. But that was never clarified. Why? Because everyone knew it was a hoax.

Then why didn’t McCain required that Obama clarified that proposal? Because McCain banked on the notion that ALL VOTERS have the capacity to ‘DISCERN.’ Precisely the sole reason or most important reason why he lost the election. Holding to that notion throughout the campaign.

Obama will fight his demise by blaming Congress and using the campaign list of supporters or Obamabots to lash against Congress and anyone that opposes his programs and initiatives.

I, too, worked my way through college and the perseverance and sacrifice it took builds character and patience because you don’t run out and buy that latest electronic “must have” when you have a tuition bill due.

(With only low paying and part time jobs to account for his “success” you’d think the IRS would be very interested.)

From what I understand, Toyota USA’s cost per worker for bennies is $22, and GM’s is $44.

People need to stop mixing up Universal Healthcare with Universal Health Insurance. BHO’s plan is Universal Health Insurance and he doesn’t cover anyone so it’s not even Universal. It’s just another big lie policy.

Universal Health Insurance= everyone gets to have health insurance. It doesn’t mean that you can afford it or that you will get your health care needs met,if you can’t pay the deductibles, copays or drug costs. You’ve been duped because this is the same thing we already have, except that maybe we’ll get to purchase the congressional health plan, but who can afford it? None of these measures make Health Care better or reduce costs to make it affordable.

To clarify for those who think Universal Health Care is socialized medicine, that may be, how ever certain socialized systems work very well, such as the public library, the police departments and fire departments. These are all single payer government run programs that benefit us all equally without discrimination. Healthcare will not change unless it is for all indiscriminately and with a single payer.

I was born into the Lebanese civil war, both chronologically and geographically. My other memories are those of constantly hearing gunfire while in school, and of speeding on more than one occasion toward a ship that would take refugees to the nearby island of Cyprus when the burden became just too much to bear.

This is exactly the story of friends of mine whose family enthusiastically voted 0′bannion. Apparently they forgot the reason their father took them out of Lebanon, now they are just part of the “gimme mine” crowd. (Although in their case I think they have suffered in many ways due to mistakes their old man made after he came to the USA and consequently have joined the ranks of the victimized.)

And that all occurred in less than a generation, folks. Well no, it was about 27 years, it took one generation for them to change perception of America as the land of opportunity to the Land of Big Daddy fix it for me pleeeze…!!!

Oh, God. Just when I thought it couldn’t get much worse. Now I AM going to be sick.

I just need to vent somewhere, anywhere, about something that happened to me this morning.

Last week on 11/5, I was obviously shocked, scared and angry, not to mention disappointed about the results of the election. You all can relate. In addition, I was inundated with the false accusations that Sarah Palin “lost” the election for McCain. Anyway, I’m sitting at breakfast with some of my co-workers, one of whom is 1/4 AA, or something like that. I was sitting in silence as I normally do, when one of them started to go off on Sarah Palin. Out of nowhere, I said (very sternly), “Can we not talk about this! I have very strong feelings on the subject and I would prefer not to talk about this!!!” Everyone looked stunned that I would say something like this in such a stern way. I later thought I may have been out of line for the WAY that I said it, so I apologize to everyone that had been at that table. Everyone considered it a non issue, except one (can you guess who?). Anyway, fast forward to this morning.

I again was sitting at breakfast with co-workers. This same man (1/4 AA) came up to me and in front of EVERYONE said he had NEVER been so disrespected as I had disrespected him a week ago, save the time someone spit in his face when he was a kid. He then went on with the shaming and blaming by telling me that we all get disappointed and upset and that I “need to suffer in silence.” He again told me in front of EVERYONE how disrespectful I was and “how dare you??” I apologized to him and walked away. What else could I do?? I am so sick of this race sh*t I could scream!! I am so upset by this coworker’s comment to me, I can’t see straight (as my Dad would say to me). The kicker is that I wasn’t even referring to Nobama, I was referring to and defending Sarah Palin!!!!! I have never been a racist or bigoted person, but (shamefully) I’m starting to feel that way towards AA people in particular because of this exact type of bullsh*t.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so what did you do about it? Thanks.

It must be free, 3 of my Grandchildren are on Healthy Families. That is a low cost insurance provided from Healthnet the provides healthcare to those making less than 40,000 a year. It’s 10 dollars a month per child. Actually it’s 9.99. I don’t know why they always do that 9.99. Anyway it’s the exact same Healthnet that my husband and I get from his job. 3 dollar generic. 7 for non-generic. 10 Office calls. 50 Emergency. Everything else is covered. Kaiser also offers the same thing to Seniors and Children. You can ask any doctor for a list of low cost medical insurance for families. They gave my daughter in law two pages. They chose Healthnet because that’s who we’ve had for years. If he’s going to give them insurance for less than that…it has to be free.

I have seen a lot of this now. It’s bizarre. I was in a 7-11 last week and this AA woman was trying to cash a cashier’s check there. On the BACK of the cashier’s check it said that they “would not cash the cashier’s check if it was over 75$” or some amount like that. Meaning, that she couldn’t cash it IN a 7-11 and go home with CASH. It was in BLACK AND WHITE on the back of the check. This AA woman went BALLISTIC – I mean BALLISTIC. It was really scary. You could tell there was some weird entitlement and anger going on. The manager of the store was really being polite to her, trying to explain it, but she kept SCREAMING at him and telling him to just “give her her Mother F**king money NOW.” It was out of control. I said something and she turned on ME and made some reference to Obama winning and now she can talk to us any way she wants. I told the store manager under my breath to call the police. But it was sad that Obama winning is now causing all this hate and rage to surface. There was no need for this. I left and drove around the block a few times to see what happened and this woman was STILL in there screaming.

THAT ONE will make race relations very intense for at least 20 years…resentment on both sides about the constant playing of the race card…

AND I don’t run up debts when I don’t have the money to pay for it. That means no new SUV that hogs gas (and thus, no car payment on our 10 yr old vehicle); no inflated mortgage on inflated property that I CHOSE not to buy at the height of the RE frenzy; AND I simply choose not to buy something if I cannot afford it.

That’s funny you mentioned Ireland. My husband said he was thinking about moving there too. They just may have a bump in their population from scared to death Americans.

When we moved to CA my son was 5, the family across the street was AA. Our sons instantly were inseparable and have been since then. Our whole families have been friends for over 20 years now. They moved out of state but their oldest son my son’s best friend comes out to stay here with us. He wants to move back so my daughter was talking with her husband about giving him a job.(Anyway this is a long story blah, blah, blah so I’ll try to cut to the chase, which is still long, but as short as I can make it.)

A few days ago she posted on her Myspace that Hitler was a great orator too. That she thought Obama was going to be dangerous for this country. He wasn’t going to do even 1/4 of what he’s promised and that AA’s are going to suffer the most because he’s set back race relations in this country. Plus, they’re the ones that have pinned their hopes and dreams on him. How many people voted for Obama because they didn’t want to see people get hurt out of the fear of riots, which he himself promoted!

Now this young man they’ve known their whole lives sends out a bulletin, with her private email, and her myspace page and goes off on her about her racism. How great Obama is. Doesn’t tell anyone what she actually said.

Instantly she’s getting 100′s of hate emails, hate comments on her Myspace. So she eventually has to block it.

She sends him back a letter saying…You know me, you know my whole family. You’ve stayed at my parents home. My brother has stayed at your’s. You call my Mom, Mom. You know I’ve dated Black guys, my brother has dated Black Girls he has a baby by one. You’ve dated White Girls. You know I am not racist! How could you tell people that? Do you know how many of your friends are sending me hate mail? Hateful comments?

You could have chosen Colin Powell, Jessie Jackson, even Al Sharpton we know what their agenda is. We know who they are. We know nothing about Obama other than he gives a good speech. And makes an awful lot of promises he can’t keep. He has no experience at all. But it was perfectly OK for you to go off on Palin who was on the bottom of the ticket. Not the top! Palin who has MORE EXPERIENCE than Obama. You could have chose someone that could have represented Black people with honor. That would have give you a reason to be PROUD. Did you? No. And BTW Obama IS HALF WHITE.

Here’s what you chose instead, and correct me if I am wrong. If McCain had been a member of the KKK or the Skinheads would I have been prejudice if I had voted for him knowing his true agenda and feelings? Yes? No? You know damn good and well it wouldn’t have been OK for me to vote for him, then YOU COULD HAVE CALLED ME RACIST.

Yet somehow it’s OK that you voted for someone that lived in a church for 20 years that preached Black Power, Black Liberation Theology and it’s perfectly OK for YOU to have voted for him. It’s perfectly OK that 90% of AA’s voted for him. That doesn’t make you RACIST at all. I’d say you’re being more than hypocritical.

I’d say you’re the racist one! But, you just remember this because now it’s OK for White Folks, including me to vote for a member of the KKK or Skinheads since you’ve condoned doing it on your side.

About an hour later he sent out a STOP letter to his friends, apologizing to her. Telling people he knows her and she’s not racist. That he just got caught up in the moment. Started going off on people posting hate comments to her. Then she blocked her Myspace Page. Her email.

He started calling her and has been non-stop since then. She told him I thought of you as a brother; no more. You’re dead to me. Loose my number and has ignored all his calls. He’s called me, my son begging us to talk to her. That he doesn’t want to loose her, she is like family to him. I told him, him and her have to work this out amongst themselves. A more than 20 year friendship down the toliet. That’s what Obama has done for race relations in this country.

It reminds me of the time the Congo was given independence from Belgium. People came from all over the country to the city carrying baskets and sacks to take home all the free booty they expected to get from the new government that had promised them prosperity after independence.

I was in the post office and a couple of African-American workers at the counter were talking about the McCain supporters buying guns and ammo and saying that they were planning to rush the white house…. Think I was going to identify myself as a McCain supporter ? Yeah, everything’s all healed now.

Obama is the most damaging and DIVISIVE person I have ever seen run for any public office. And it’s not over by a long shot. Every time the division seems to be over there is a “new” twist to it. I personally feel the “New” edge of blame game and Hillary bashing is all part of it. Soon, anyone who saw through him, anybody who had any alliance with any group that ever stood up to him will be fractured. Think it’s an accident? I don’t.

Something funny. One our friend (he is an immigrant from former USSR,electronic engineer) came to install cable TV. Owner AA was very arrogant, house packed with expensive things, and man tried to show how important person he is. Finally he asked:” Do you know who am I?” – “Customer” answered fried, – “I am black!” – “I am not blind and I don’t care who you are” was an answer. After that man became silent and dejected.
People! Don’t to be shy to say “I dodn’t care” to them!

Can’t help it, I look and the words “line-backer in drag” flash before my eyes.

Google “obama supporters refuse to pay rent”. When I checked it out it was the fourth one down and has the video too. I really thought McCain would win based on his policy of “leave taxes where they are and cut spending and corruption”, and the war we are winning in Iraq and need to win in Afghanistan. I really thought he was close enough that a lot of people claiming they were P.C. would vote for McCain once they were in the privacy of the booth. This country is in for a big unpleasant surprise: obama either borrows more money internationally if he can, or he does none of the things he promised and taxes everyone at least at the old level (an increase) and a lot of his less educated supporters feel they have a right to the things they think he promised them, so they take them by any means.

I would have told him off right in front of everyone for trying to embarrass me. But I like an occasional verbal donneybrook. I’m Irish-American but my husband of 27 years is Puerto Rican and has darker skin than obama, (although it’s a nicer, richer color and his ears don’t stick out). My relatives from his side of the family are a mix of P.R., Mexican, Filipino, Asian, and a nephew who’s part black. I don’t care what color someone’s skin is but I resent the thought of a Pres and 1st Lady who despise me because of the color of my skin. I read obama’s books and Michelle’s college thesis and to anyone who says that they were young when they wrote those words, I say “they were young and so they spent 20 years having those words reinforced by Wright’s rhetoric of hate and bigotry”.

I am waiting just for the simple things in life not a lot.

Breakfast in bed each day 8am prompt.
All washing and ironing done
Grass cut
Swimming pool cleaned
Dinner on the table 6.30 each night
Served and cleared by 8pm
Bed turned down slippers by the fire…
I have the house and car but gas each week is fine.
