For all Proud Military Moms

This song is for all of us Moms with kids on active duty and all the proud military moms who have gone before us. The song is called “Letters From War.” May all our troops come home safe. God Bless.

Brought me to tears! The feeling of a son/daughter at war must be the hardest emotion for a mother.
Growing up as a child we never know a mother’s love until we have children of our own.

God bless all our service men and women and may they all come home to their families..

Not a military mom myself, but sitting here crying at the computer. God Bless you all and your sons and daughters!

Thank you Proud Military Mom. I too am a Proud Military Mom. God Bless all our men and women who so proudly serve our Country. We proudly stand beside you.

I talked to my son last night on the phone and I know he is well and safe for the moment. Your video brought tears to my eyes. Thank you again.

Don’t forget, Governor Sarah Palin is a Proud Military Mom too.

  • imustprotest

    as is….Cindy McCain.

Lots of military parents! My son left me a message this morning, so good to hear his voice.
Yes, this song tears me up- exactly the feelings we have when our kids are in harms way.

And yes, both Gov. Palin and Mrs. Mccain are proud military moms.

I have always been proud of my son and his wife but there is always that element of fear. But as my son says, “Mom, somebody has to stand up for our country.”

In Canada we call it Remembrance Day and wear a red poppy in memory of our fallen soldiers who fought for our freedom.

I’m still around. Just had to go underground because the Obamabots won’t stop until they completely destroy my life — every facet of it. It really helps if people don’t ask. I do post once in a while, just under other names. I’ve also been really sick, and have spent most of the last month in bed. Going to the doctor again.

Harp, thank you for the link, it brought fresh tears on this day of Rememberance. My father and two uncles were in WW11 – all died prematurely, and my grandfather died at Paschendale, so today is a very sad day for me. I watch the ceremonies in tears and think of all the folks like PMM, whose sons and daughters are currently involved in conflicts far away from their families. It is a “Pittance of Time” to take a few moments and show respect and thankfulness, and this song goes right to the core of that, so thank you again.

And God Bless all vets, active duty soldiers and their families.
    Back to lurking.

Today at the Mall, I got a free coffee at the cookie place when I was asked if I was a veteran. It made me feel good. Small things like that mean so much after the punch in the stomach on 11/4/11, another day of infamy for America….No cookie, though.
