Rules And FAQ’s
You can nominate yourself, don’t be shy.
The number of nominations a blog receives is irrelevant. One nomination is enough…
Rather than add a “me too” nomination for a site you’re encouraged to use the “+” icon to indicate your preference for nominees. The “+” ratings are one extra piece of information the finalist selection panel can use to help generate the finalist slates in each category.
Given the two previous items, we reserve the right to remove excessive comments (i.e. nominations) for the same site.
The nomination period is scheduled to end on Wednesday, November 19, 2008.

*edited – noquarter does not qualify for the category of Best New Blog, they have been around a long time.

    No Quarter gets my vote!

I have enjoyed our lively discussions today realizing that most of you don’t want Hillary near Obama.
I half agree with all of you that this is a very big risk for Hillary, but believe that country is more important than votes in the senate and potential mistreatment. Hillary represents the firewall against a lurch to the left and is strong patriotic American
This country is in peril and Islamic terrorists and dictators wait for the moment to strike America. I trust Hillary if she is chosen to give Obama good council when dealing with these issues that effect all of us.

For all of you that have argued with me without being condescending I respect your maturity and thoughtful comments.

NoQuarter gets my vote, hands down!

    Good luck!

  • Winston

I guess we are supposed to believe that George Soros spent a small fortune to get Obama elected and that somehow Obama will ignore this (and so will George) to magically become a centrist?

Please don’t disagree with me. I am extremely hyper-sensitive to even the slightest criticisms even though some of my opinions are off the charts insane. I will have to resort to name calling if you disagree with me and I will target all of your posts and demand that you leave the board for all perpetuity. I can’t help it, its not my fault, please don’t make fun of Hillary. I am an emotional wreck but I am psychic.

    • http://www.marklevinshow.com/ Seattle Moss

You’re speaking to the choir dude.
      We all agree with you…
That’s not the issue..The buzz today and this weekend is about Hillary being SOS.
All this other stuff about Soro’s or buying elections we have agreed on for weeks and months.
Obama being a Marxist and his slimy behavior and associations and real intentions are clearly known.

The facts are that he WON and the world is a dangerous place.
Are you going to get over what clearly was a gamed election and hope for the best under this American idol president who is now our president or are going to keep going about what could have been and the injustice of it all.

We are stuck with this guy..That’s why I want people around him to keep him in check.

      Hillary for SOS!!

    • oowawa

LOL Winston, I hope I haven’t offended you in days gone by. I bequeathe unto you the following magic spell that can be used as a signature line to ward off trolls, snarky remarks, and malevolent words of all kinds:

      “don’t flame me bro!”

      • http://www.marklevinshow.com/ Seattle Moss

        LOL…
Poor Winston…He only knows how to talk to people by being condescending.

      • sowsear

        What is your psychic prediction?

        • http://www.marklevinshow.com/ Seattle Moss

1.Oil will collapse to $20 barrel
2.the stock market will bottom at $5500

3.There will be a terrorist attack that will decimate the democrats.
          4. Keith and tweetie will be caught under their desks crying out for Bush to save us.

          • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

            ROFLMAO…That sounds REALLY HOPEFUL Moss.

            • http://www.marklevinshow.com/ Seattle Moss

I guess I’m back to my hopey self now.

    • http://www.wewillnotbesilenced2008.com OBAMA IS A FRAUD

No Winston, we are not to believe that Soros bought and paid for his Fraudbama Puppet and then will let little Fraudbama rule from the CENTER. Not going to happen. Soros wants his pound of flesh and now the wing nuts have started to realize that Soros, Paulson, Pelosi, et all come FIRST and not the welfare programs and nonsense Fraudbama spewed to get votes. Soros owns America.

BTW of COURSE No Quarter deserves to win the big grand prize! Woot Woot. Go NQ!

  • http://none maq

Six responders out of eight replies and they ALL seem to be MALE: “juan, maq, seattle-moss, barry bums a ciggie , Winston, oowawa”. Strange.

    Where are the wimmin?

  • http://www.noquarterusa.net Eastan McNeal

Hey friends. I have been on an extended break.

I had so much more to say about the election, but I did not want to feel like Winston, who posted below that many things have made him edgy. It is good that others have been contributing – especially our friend Sarah in Italy. I plan to read and comment, when appropriate, about the developing federal administration and I think this is the place to start every day for read news and hear diverse opinions.

So I will vote for NoQuarter in all the listed categories. The Eastan McNeal endorsement, along with a couple of bucks, will get us a cup of coffee at your local MoonBuck Cafe. This economy can’t afford Stars today.

I honestly have enjoyed every single one of you. I hope you all stick around.

    I will be back.

Yes, I nominated No Quarter and a few others. But I need to go back and see if I did everything right. I did the green voting thing too.

    I LOVE No Quarter!

    :P

  • http://2008.weblogawards.org Kevin Aylward

Thanks to everyone for participating. I just wanted to let No Quarter readers know that No Quarter does not qualify in the Best New Blog category because it was established before October 2007. The other suggested blogs in that category do qualify, and No Quarter can be nominated in other other categories – as it already has been.

  • csuzeq

I voted! I am addcited to No Quarter. I read it every day. I thought I might go to just once a week or so after the horror of election 2008 wrapped up, but who else can I trust?

  • AnninCA

Great to see NQ in the running.
