I doubt it, but the story is interesting. The link I provided is to the Slate site which mentioned this story in its news round-up of a number of stories from different papers.

Yes, but does she have more than Odrama? We already know he is going to win. I don't know why they are bothering with a vote. I don't know why we even had a Primary for crying out loud! The media already told you 2008 belongs to Odrama. They won't even consider another. Don't waste time voting when you know the answer already.

Hello? who has listened to us here in 2008? Just us folks here.

suck it TIME magazine. Just suck it and enjoy your token POTUS while you still can.

You are absolutely correct on this and are 100% to blame for it as well. Until the American public starts making politicians accountable for their lies, half-truths, semantics, etc. then they will continue to lie through their teeth on the campaign trail. I want to elect people who are trustworthy. People who will actually do what they say and not waver. That way I can judge them on their results and not some goofy abstraction like feeling good or liking the way he sounds.

Well, since I'm no Republican, and since my vote for McCain didn't add up to a hill of beans, I accept that Hillary's chances for 2012 are over. I don't know why people keep insisting that isn't the case. That's the whole reason behind actually pulling the lever for McCain. Hillary's only chance was if 0bama lost.

And I'm not going to speculate on the possible doomsday scenarios vis a vis 0bama and subsequently, Hillary's chances.

Right now, the economy is center stage and I'm thinking that 0bama just might, be making the only choice he has right now. Let's face it, if he had gone another route, he would surely be putting his presidency in jeopardy right from the start. I'm sure his expectations are that Hillary will handle things and at least keep any kind of nasty twitches from abroad at bay. (And it doesn't hurt that Hillary always has Bill, an ex-POTUS riding shotgun.) The move really sets a tone throughout the world that a neophyte like 0bama desperately needs.

I basically hate the idea of losing my Senator, but given that her Democratic colleagues all but dissed her openly, I don't know if I'd want to work with these asswipes either on a daily basis. And the idea that Richardson and Kerry are getting screwed, is just to delicious for me to bear.

I'm letting Hillary take care of Hillary. Even if it turns out to be the disaster a lot of us feel it could be, her life is still times better off than mine.

He will facilitate the deaths of more soldiers because he has no idea what he is doing and will waffle around so much the terrorists like his pal Ayers will gain courage and strike back.

Bullies are defeated by brute force delivered without mercy or remorse.

It's a political mind-f**k if Obama selects Hillary as SOS. If she accepts , then I wish her a successful ride down the toilet bowl of political mistakes. Play it smart Hillary...stay here in New York.

The Senate Republicans held together well on the issue of Iraq.
Do they still have the will to carry on with diminished numbers?
Only time will tell, but I hope that everyone involved puts the well-being and honor of our troops first.
We could have had a President Clinton or a President McCain to insure that...what a loss!

Barack will wait to be told what to do and say about Iraq!
It was never much of a priority for him since he was forced to visit that country!
Delegate the responsibility...Biden has lots of ideas!
