Hot Rock Stars on the Hunt

Beautiful young women, yes? And they are hot on the campaign trail.

Their song? Well, listen for yourselves.

These women are, of course, Liddy, Abby and Mary Anne Huntsman (also known as the Jon2012 Girls) singing a parody of Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back.”

Father and Republican Presidential candidate Jon Huntsman once wanted to be a rock star. He dropped out of high school to become the keyboard player for a band named “Wizard.” That didn’t work out for him (and lucky for us if the voters will just take a long enough look), but there might be something in the genes.

In any event, I see these ladies as an asset to the campaign, as living proof that the Huntsmans are not as aloof as some say.

And don’t let their beauty fool you. Inside are high-powered brains and other talents. One is a concert pianist. I hope these lovlies hit the campaign trail close to me someday.

brains and beauty.thanks for posting this Pat.

It’s a balance. I wish his economic plan would go viral also. Because it isn’t like they’re the best thing he’s got going for his campaign but are sometimes interviewed like it is. On Hannity a few weeks ago, for instance, Jon was sitting there with the daughters but all Sean did was talk to them. Kept saying the candidate will be back after the break and then the show was inexplicably over

And now they are being called out for being consistently off message and making this latest video without authorization (aka ‘going rogue’).
I’m not saying the way they are doing it is entirely wrong, it is just that time is obviously limited at this point, and you have to look at the overall picture of what is best way to maximize demonstrating your strengths to target voters.

I watched the Huckabee Candidate Forum from last night. The format was really good and gave one an opportunity to listen to the candidates in more than sound bites.

Where was Huntsman last night? Why wasn’t he participating?  Huntsman is comfortable letting
opportunities pass him by Another reason my gut doesn’t like him.

  • Wbboe

That is the problem.  On the other hand, if big media succeeds in their newest mission to destroy Newt and they give Romney enough rope to hang himself though one precipitous remark, miscalculation or an overabundance of caution, then Huntsman is there ready to accept the nomination and lead America into a golden age which will last ten centuries– if only he knew how to handle China. Of course, they all look like Phi Beta Capa material when you compare them to the tourist from Hawaii who is now deprived of his most precious asset—Reggie Love.

Any you thought I was going to say Michelle.

    What campaign?

    Moe Lane–
Obama goes to Kansas to channel–quick: which legendary figure from American history is Obama planning to ‘channel’ there?
If you said “John Brown”… HAHAHA! You’re funny. No, the odds of a Democratic politician going to honor a hardcore abolitionist militant who helped start a war that ended up penalizing the Democratic party on the national level for seventy years are, well, nil. The Democratic Establishment does not so hold grudges as they clutch them in their hands until the heat and pressure deforms the grudges into a non-recognizable form; put another way… John Brown’s body lies a-moldering in its grave, and that’s just fine with them.
Nah, President Obama’s going to Osawatomie to channel Teddy Roosevelt. Lots of liberals like Teddy Roosevelt, and think that he’s a great Republican, for three reasons. First, Teddy Roosevelt was a Progressive*; second, Teddy Roosevelt went third-party in 1912 and assured a Democrat’s election; and third, Teddy Roosevelt is dead. I’m not even really certain that Obama is really aware of the historical importance of the town, or why Teddy Roosevelt picked it in the first place.  On the other hand, I’m reasonably certain that Obama knows that Roosevelt’s speech there in 1910 can be seen as being one step on Teddy’s journey to the aforementioned third-party run in 1912… and that’s really what it’s all about for this administration, yes?
Quick exit question: if Barack Obama is going to Osawatomie to evoke Teddy Roosevelt’sNew Nationalism speech**, does that include this passage?
No man is worth his salt in public life who makes on the stump a pledge which he does not keep after election; and, if he makes such a pledge and does not keep it, hunt him out of public life.
Because I could get behind that, Mr. President.

I didn’t care for the original song and I don’t care
    for this version ether.

    Bad choice.

O’s channeling anyone is just so creepy.
I imagine his eye balls going back into his head,
so only the whites of his eyes are shown.
Then he begins speaking in tongues.

    IT’S JUST SO CREEPY!!!!!!

In 1913, the 16th Amendment to the Constitution made the income tax a
permanent fixture in the U.S. tax system. The amendment gave Congress
legal authority to tax income and resulted in a revenue law that taxed
incomes of both individuals and corporations. In fiscal year 1918,
annual internal revenue collections for the first time passed the
billion-dollar mark, rising to $5.4 billion by 1920. With the advent of
World War II, employment increased, as did tax collections—to $7.3
billion. The withholding tax on wages was introduced in 1943 and was
instrumental in increasing the number of taxpayers to 60 million and tax
collections to $43 billion by 1945.Read more: History of the Income Tax in the United States — Infoplease.com http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0005921.html#ixzz1faxZ7BMf

This is just another ridiculous ploy and I can’t stand it.  It belittles the Office he is running for.  This is not a reality show. And he should show up for debates when invited.  People don’t know enough about him.

  • Dorinda

Don’t know how any candidate couldn’t be proud of daughters like these.  They’re a fun-loving group, obviously close to each other and supportive of their father.  It’s lighthearted and fun – something more of us ought to be!

I know nothing (about Fast and Furious) sayeth Eric Holder. Why?  Because he is slow, and comes from a long line of slow creatures.  The reader will note the strong family resemblance:

    No, that’s Palin….

  • Wbboe

Watch the above video closely.  That is not really a worm he is eating.  It is the records of fast and furious cleverly disguised to look like a worm.  As we know from Obama himself, looks can be deceiving.  Or sometimes, like in the case of his attorney general, what you see is what you get.  It has been said that a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down.  I wonder if a mouthful of ketchup does the trick for secret government records.  If the answer is yes, then the widow of John Hines, and now wife of wimp John Kerry may have an extra warehouse or two of the stuff just sitting around rotting—like her hubby.  Now we hear he is in line to take Harry Reid’s job who is rumored to be making plans to go back to Searchlight Nevada from whence he came–the prodigal sun.  I wonder what happened to sleezeball Schumer.  Maybe he and Kerry can settle the dispute with pistols at 20 feet like gentlemen.

  • Wbboe

There was a time when presidents came from people who had already raised their families. The Roosevelts, Trumans and Eisenhowers were the last of that breed.  That ended with when JFK came to the White House. Nixon was of that ilk as was Carter.  But the rest of them had kiddos to bring in.  It is some evidence that they are good family men, but I am not sure it has much to do with running the country. It is more like bread and circuses.

  • Wbboe

Yes.  And do not think for a minute that it is not staged.

  • WhatNow?

“I hope these lovlies hit the campaign trail close to me someday.” If you don’t have a message, the fall back position is to use the “sex” card since American voters are too stupid to know the candidate is hiding behind women. Will his daughters sing him ideas and solutions while in the white house?

  • Anonymous

Yeah, and she’s not running for President either, moron.

  • Scottymac54

Personally, it makes me a little uncomfortable.

But I can already see very little interest among the younger folks for Romney, Gingrich, etc., and I can’t say I blame them.

So I see your point, in helping to cut through the stodginess factor of the American right.

  • Scottymac54

“I wonder what happened to sleezeball Schumer…”

    Maybe, our next corrupt VP?

I was horrified when I heard this idea.

Yet, when you think about it, it may make sense for Barky.

  • Scottymac54

    So far, LOL!

    Poor,  vicious little neocon….

  • Scottymac54

What do you think about his support for the Ryan plan?

  • Anonymous

    agreed

  • Anonymous

    LOL

  • Anonymous

“Looking” presidential has displaced “being” presidential.

  • Anonymous

The Ryan plan I think presumes an unemployment rate of like 3 odd T unemployment, growth over 5% – and that in very short order or the hole just gets deeper. I haven’t given each of the points much consideration because it isn’t a major Huntsman platform item but even if were politically palatable I don’t see those kinds of parameters are anywhere close to do-able in this economy. The core concepts are also pie in the sky fake – sticking seniors with vouchers for a menu of competing plans that would leave most unable to afford insurance, savaging programs to the needy while benefiting the wealthy with deep cuts. Sure. I dare them to Go ahead and try.
Buying into shrinking the government through cuts in spending outside Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security wouldn’t require that much….and of course getting rid of tax preferences at the heart of Huntsman’s economic proposal I’m all for….or is the Gingrich SS privatization proposal a more logical or affordable way to control growth ? Good questions. :)

  • Dbb

Pat, you can pine for Huntsman all you want but Lady Lynn’s toyboy and vanity project is not going to be the GOP nominee.  Got it?  In fact there is reasonable speculation that Rothschild along with her fellow plutocrat backers of Americans Elect really want him to be on that ticket nominated via the internet and are deluded enough to hope that Hillary will join him.

  • Solara 9

    A big schedule conflict.

  • Solara 9

    Toyboy?  No way!

  • Solara 9

He won’t need them for that.  He can do it all very well himself.

  • Solara 9

    Ditto.

  • Tricia

Unfortunately Huntsman is a reflective guy who dens’;t do sound bites and gets no traction when the fast talkers are in the room because, for some reason, that’s what people like.

So, let he girls help out a bit.

  • Pat

Dbb.  Just because one person you don’t like is supportng him, why generalize it all out?  No, I don’t “got it.”  Let’s wait and see, OK?  Patience.

  • Scottymac54

I don’t like the Rothschild association either.

But I’ve supported candidates who’ve run with unbearable personalities before.

So, I’m going to suspend judgment for the time being.

It’ll be just another thing I can hold against Huntsman, if I decide I can’t stand him, LOL!

  • Scottymac54

    ROTFLMAO!!!!

I’ve been scanning the comments on the hardcore neocon blogs and there are STILL those who staunchly support Cain, and refuse to believe there could be ANY truth to the allegations from these women.

I don’t know what to say (except, there but for the grace of God, go I….)

Once it finally sinks in that Cain is not going to be the nominee, they are going to need time, a few weeks, to judge whether or not they are “ABOs”, or who they can support, in good conscience.

The results might surprise us all.  I certainly don’t foresee them all marching over to Gingrich’s camp.

Again, there seems to be a strong dislike for Romney in the country (I’m not a conservative, so I can’t relate to their metrics).

  • Rich

I feel that you can tell a great deal about a person by their children.  In that spirit I believe the way these girls love their father at their age and are willing to put themselves out there for their dad says volumes about the man John Huntsman.  So how many other children are out there promoting the dad they love and are proud of?

  • Anonymous

The girls are on a very short leash now apparently (and not in a sexy way)…I don’t get what is off-message except maybe someone was embarrassed that they aren’t quite as cool as Timberlake.

Why would a serious person waste his time talking to a clown like Huckabee?

  • Anonymous

This is ridiculous. But of course, it’s what everyone focuses on.

Hey just a thought, you would probably get more readers if you interviewed controversial people for your blog.
