I believe I’m slowly going insane….when I start responding to myself and accusing myself of being tooooo peaceful, toooo conciliatory….toooo forgiving of the Neophyte jerk who stole the nomination from The Woman….
I will not forget nor forgive. But I am reflecting in a saner, hopeful manner….could I have begun the healing….I’d be caught dead before I wished BOTH Barry and Hillary “good luck”…
Let’s just wait and see what this new pup in the White does with his litter (I mean Barry Soetoro-Hussein Obama, whatever….”

Yup! I know what these ‘panic attacks’ are like during and post-primary…Is it a dream or did the junior male senator with the great baritone voice and zilch skills really win the election? The woman who fought and should have won had the nomination STOLEN from her by a team of thugs and the media misogynist frat-boys who pushed BHO to a fraudulent ‘finish’line of superdels….What a farce.
But now, let’s cheer both Barry and HIllary and wish them the BEST. She’s a “family girl” that Hillary Diane,she truly is. And a loyal American girl at that. She’d be the most loyal SOS the country ever seen.

I would be surprised if Hillary didn’t heal the great Palestinian -Israel chasm. There’s a group of women in both Israel and Palestine who’ve been working together for PEACE for decades. Their voices will now be heard….

Thank you for this very important and thoughtful post. We are grieving, each in our own way, and those who may mock your piece, in my opinion are mocking women. If Obama had not succeeded in stealing the nomination, no one would have told his supporters ‘get over it’. It’s a basic matter of respect.

My shock lasted weeks and is now abating a bit. I’m now able to turn on the radio or tv and hear ‘president-elect Obama’. I’m a bit relieved he’s putting good Clinton people around him, was scared he would fill his administration with neophyte radicals. But I’m still enraged. And I will NOT develop amnesia. In the personal as in the political, amnesia is dangerous.

I’m still avoiding friends who are Palin-bashers, as they just tare open the wound… I deserve better. Women deserve better.

people hate obama. people hate george bush. what do you expect? that is politics. people have a right to criticize their president, and are entitled to think what they want. the difference is they express their anger on this site. obama supporters troll anti-obama sites and insult those who criticize obama. people defend obama as if he is their uncle or father. you don’t know obama any more than any of us do. how do you know he is a good person? obama supporters issue death threats and worse, because we speak out against obama. you come here, and then get mad. easy solution – don’t come here. i don’t go to obama loving sites, and you don’t need to go to sites that don’t love obama.

i watched for 8 years as people BASHED Bush, hung effigys of him, and ripped him to shreads, and compared him to monkeys. but, now, those same people want to tell us that we can’t be pissed at obama?

are you talking to me? If so, well… i had numerous death threats left on my blog. I had someone for weeks leaving me comments that they wanted to rape me with graphic descriptions, and brought my husband into it, i had rude ass hateful comments left constantly, and was called every name in the book. Also, someone left comments telling me they were watching me, and had been for along time, and they were going to *get* me. If you read my blog, and never saw them, it is because i didn’t approve them for posting. (that is why I had to make my site moderated, and finally not allow anonymous comments) But, I did save the IP addresses, and sent them on to the FBI (the death threats) and to the web serving companies. and as for when i started chatting on huffpo, etc. i was called racist and worst names there. So, yea, I think I can say that I have been attacked online.

Politics is a dirty business, and losers within a party almost always try to mend fences and work for the good of the platform. there’s absolutely nothing exceptional about Hillary working hard for Obama, and he may have promised the SoS to her months ago. How can any sensible Dem not want her to be in a powerful position? If Obama fails to end the war, straighten out the economy, get national health care, and secure the borders, we all will suffer! People like Hillary need to counsel him to move to a more moderate position than what he has claimed in Chicago.
