They would rather have Hillary as Prez rather than Obama but will be relieved with having her at State.

Liz Trata was on FOX this morning and just listening to all the hateful things that she said of Senator Hillary Clinton “Drama Queen” I’d say she has the Clinton Derangement Syndrome for sure.

Don’t you know, though, it’s not treason to trash Democratic presidents or administrations? It’s only treason when you question or disagree with Republicans. They didn’t hold back on trashing Madeline Albright, and they won’t hold back on trashing Hillary Clinton – in fact, they’re looking forward to trashing her. It’s what they do because it’s who they are. We’ve been told for 7 years that “you can’t disagree with the president in a time of war”. Funny, that rule was inoperable when Clinton got involved in Kosovo – even though no one died in that operation, as opposed to the 4,000 + dead in Iraq.

It appears that you, like them, became obsessed with the fantasy of witches, even though when all was said and done… LOL there wasn’t a witch to be found anywhere. But then there never is.

Your point is understood UBM. However, my post clearly points out we are talking about her record independent of his. She has the last 8 years of an essentially independent career and the record is flawless.

The media can re-hash the White House years all they want and she was part of it, but it was his administration.

I know this is a long shot but part of me has this strange feeling that something is going to happen and Obama may not be sworn in this January. I don’t know if it’s an assassination or a constitutional crisis, but let’s just say I would not be surprised if something happened.

I really should stock up on food and water just in case something does happen to him, since there will be major riots here in LA if the crap hits the fan. This is one reason why I don’t like him as president, an assassination would tear the country apart. especially since he’s been hyped up so much.

I am also an Independent, and I don’t fault you for feeling as you do about Hillary’s choices, but I have to say, in rebuttal, that she is a true patriot. She is a true servant of the country, and she has a lot more to offer than most. She is one voice in 100 at the Senate. Her talent is wasted there, and she can serve much more effectively from the Executive branch.

Sure, Obama’s people treated her like crap, because she was so much more qualified than him. She has a right to be sore, but she’s not a sorehead. She would be a fool to throw away her political future, given she doesn’t have that many years left to rebuild. She would be nearly as old as John McCain by the time Obobo serves two terms. The only likely opportunity for her to work in the Executive branch is in this administration. And if she can’t be the top dog, what’s she supposed to do? Take her ball and run home? No, she’s doing the right thing, in my book. She’s stepping up to the plate and showing everyone, especially her critics, that she is a team player with a lot to offer, and is not a prima donna like they are prone to say of her.

I do not see her serving her country in this Democratic administration as a negative thing, not for her, not for us. She has my respect and support, as always.

Reagan and Bush Senior ran right but governed center [Bush Sr. governed in a more centrist fashion than Reagan].

Bush Junior ran right and then actually tried to govern right.

That’s why Reagan is considered a success, and Bush Sr. is considered a success in foreign policy [the bad economy and Perot sank him in 1992], while Bush Jr. will go down as a failure.

Had they held That One to even 1/10th of the criteria they held HRC to, McCain (or HRC) would be president. It seemed that HRC was too smart or not smart enough; too shrill or not outspoken enough; too prone to emotion or not emotional enough. Try using some of that sort of criticism on That One and hear the cries of racism. We’d get an entire lecture series on race in America and be bored witless, crying uncle by the end of it.
