Wow, what an amazing site. They even have a quote from Alexander Hamilton: "The United States debt, foreign and domestic, was the price of liberty." I also learned a bit deeper in, that the Bureau of the Public Debt was named one of the "Best places to work in the Federal Government". No joke. I guess they must be busy. It's very interesting though how Americans view debt. I never realised this until I moved away. I live in Sweden now, and debt, although becoming more acceptable, is not really deemed to be positive here. It's the other way around in America I think. Rest assured all, the Bureau of the Public Debt is back online. Wow, what an amazing site.
