Paul Ryan Proved Obama and Democrats are Liars

Want further proof of the ignorance and desperation of the Democrats? Look no further than their frenzy in the aftermath of Paul Ryan leveling a charge about the closing of the GM plant in Janesville, Wisconsin in 2009.

And now? Here’s the actual video of Obama making the promise:

But wait, there is more. Although the Klowns at Kos insist the plant closed in 2008, it actually ceased operations, as Paul Ryan stated, in 2009:

Obama said it and, despite his promise, the plant was closed. I dare Obama and the Dems to push that sloppy mess out to the voters.

    Beyond that, I read an article that GM-Janesville was not reopened when GM got some money because of crony capitalism. Pres wanted to pick winners and losers & Ryan’s district was on “losers” list. If I find the article again, I’ll post it. Don’t know how accurate that analysis.

    The thing that is so cynical is that they lie & attack in the face of hard evidence that will blow their claims out of the water. I guess they figure most people won’t check.

      jr i think this ties in with the GM dealerships that were forced to close. FORCED. Yes I said forced, A very old dealership here was forced to close and they sold cars out the ying yang.

    That’s what made Matthew Dodd’s appearance on ABC Sunday show so damning. He also accused Ryan of lying. George Will disputed it & was ready with Ryan’s exact quote and with the facts about the plant. So Dowd then said well it’s what Ryan meant.
    Dowd was the “republican” on the panel; W’s former political advisor.

      Sounds like the one-on-one Newt had with Tingles regarding “code” language. Tingles said that Reagan referred to the African American welfare queen. Newt insisted Reagan never said African American and Tingles said, “well, we know what he meant.” WTF?

        It’s nuts. They only reveal their own thinking, racist and dishonest. They associate any mention of welfare or food stamps with African Americans rather than with the fact for example that at least in raw numbers more whites than blacks receive food stamps.

    The thing is that it’s strange that anyone would immediately call someone a liar when he is speaking about his home town, the town he goes back to each weekend, the place where his long-time friends and family live. Don’t you think those people would stop and check the facts themselves before they say something mean. I am sick of the people who try to call themselves journaliists nowadays.

      I know I have written this before……….My sister works for a subsidary of GM in Ohio. One day the Union leaders came in and said Obama was coming to speak the next day and they had a sign up sheet for those who wanted to see him. Space was limited and they should sign up immediately. Well by the end of the day word was sent down it was mandatory attendence. At a plant of 800 they had less than 50 sign up. This was back in 2009.
      So I said to my sister……you were at Obama’s speech? She said…….NO I punched out and went home like most of them did.

You can trust us when we tell you that he NEVER gives you a thought except when there’s a camera around. HELL, last week he was too lazy to even campaign! Let alone go to NOLA, even when Mitt Romney beat him to it. He needed the weekend to campaign before he could fit you in, Barbara … and then today, he spent less than an HOUR with you.

    Why on earth are so many of the Romney/Paul YouTube videos set with volume so low that it is hard to hear them? The first video that Larry posted above could be louder. I encounter that all the time … i didn’t post one Romney video because it was nearly impossible to hear it. Ditto one Romney video posted along with the press release at their own campaign site — which is NOT good.

    There is nothing wrong with my hearing or with the volume controls on my computer, and the speakers work just fine. I actually wrote an e-mail to Romney’s Web people to complain. Geesh. But that one time the video volume was too low in the video posted at the campaign site, it came from YouTube. Hmmmm … you don’t suppose YouTube is messing with the audio on the Romney and Ryan videos, do you? Naaaaaah. (I feel like an idiot conspiracy theorist now, but it is so odd.)

    President Obama and his liberal allies just don’t get it.

    The middle class has been crushed under his administration. Gas prices have doubled, incomes have dropped, poverty is headed toward fifty-year highs, and unemployment has been above 8 percent for 42 straight months.

    And yet, he still wants you to believe you are better off now than you were four years ago.

    Americans deserve a president who gets it: a leader who understands we’re not better off, and who has a plan to fix it.

(And I might add, don’t we have anything better to do than defend them? …. remember that if they level 10 charges and we defend 6 of them and are silent on the other 4, you’re going to be able to hear the crickets chirping on the 4 we don’t defend.)     I’m sorry, where in Barack’s speech did he make a promise? And in the news clip you posted, they state that 1200 workers were laid off before Christmas, aka before Obama was inaugurated, and a small staff of 100 was kept on to fulfill an order.

    So one part of Ryan’s allegation is pretty false, and the other part is mostly false. If you want to add those two things together and say Ryan was telling a whole truth, then I think you’re just trying to see things as you want them to be.

Voters in his own district are mad, as he was either completely lying or did not know the facts about this plant in his own district. Either way he is a moron. Add the recent lies about his 2 hour and 50 minute something marathon and his statement that he did not request stimulus funds for his district and the lies are pilling up. Paul Ryan is sinking fast.

Continuing to present this plant shut down as something that happened during the Obama Administration is a misrepresentation and a lie.
