Does Obama Finally See the Writing on the Wall?

Maybe. As the Weekly Standard shares today, here is Obama’s latest appeal:

The Obama campaign is now advertising “the last Dinner with Barack.” In an email sent to supporters this afternoon seeking donations, Obama for America writes:

Daniel –

President Obama is looking forward to meeting three supporters — maybe even you?

Want to meet the President? This is the last Dinner with Barack of this campaign. You could be there. Enter today.

If you can picture yourself there, then you better hurry up! This is the last Dinner with Barack of this campaign, and there’s not much time left.

Donate $5 or whatever you can, and you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to sit down for dinner with the President:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Dinner

Good luck!

Obama for America

P.S. — If that doesn’t sound good enough, we’ll even fly you out — with a friend! How do you like that?

The email’s subject line reads: “Fly for free to the last Dinner with Barack.”

If this is the end, heck, even I’d donate five dollars!

Yes, how much would it be worth to you to see Obama depart the White House?

    • HObama HObamanana

I find it extremely offensive that he not only approves of this but is selling it from his website. It’s no wonder that they have done all they could to suppress the military vote. Moral of the story: It’s bad when you insult Muslims but perfectly fine to insult veterans, active duty soldiers and patriotic Americans.

  • HObama HObamanana

The word carney can either mean someone that works in a carnival or a wheedler that attempts to persuade you into believing something using persistent flattery or guile. So it should come as no surprise that Obama’s spokesperson is named Carney. He definitely works in a carnival. And try as they might to dress it up to appear pleasing, it’s not a fun place to take your children. It’s more like a Carnival of Souls, and equally as bizarre and pointless. As to the other definition, Obama’s spokesperson again does not disappoint. Here he is today wheedling his way to seem informative and conclusive.

“It is, I think, self-evident that what happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack,” Carney said. “Our embassy was attacked violently and the result was four deaths of American officials. So, again, that’s self-evident.”

What is self evident, you carnival working wheedler, is that you are an incompetent liar. And a bad one at that.

You gotta figure, Barry is probably jonesin on apologies. It’s been what, a little more than a week?

    • vinnie winkel

Ugggh, so disappointed in Hillary. WE, the American people, REJECT this administration constant apologies for things that we shouldn’t be apologizing for. I don’t see the Danes apologizing for their depiction of the Mohammed drawing. The French cartoonist will certainly not. Why? Because they cling on to the belief that they have every right to express their views under freedom of speech and expression. This WH needs a quick review of our Constitution and stop treating these religious fanatics like they are children who will be easily appeased by words. They hate us, accept that and stop sending money their way!

      • http://www.projectweavers.com/ Matthew J. Weaver

    • akaPatience

Unbelievable. I hope this story gets more exposure. Plus, I read somewhere that the film’s producer is a Democrat. I bet it’s true because if he were a Republican it would’ve been broadcast repeatedly.

  • akaPatience

O’s opponents need to produce ads that TIE his philosophy of redistribution/collectivism with his policies that’ve hobbled the private sector, thus resulting in the UNDENIABLE FACTS of increasing dependence on government during his administration. His plan of redistribution is working. He’s breaking America in order to refashion it according to his redistributionist/collectivist ideals.
Ads also need to be created that inform people of the UNDENIABLE FACTS that due to O’s deleterious policies, the Fed has chosen to step in and weaken the value of the US Dollar, resulting in higher fuel and food prices that disproportionately hurt poor and middle class people much more than the wealthy. Any woman who goes grocery shopping and stops to fill up the gas tank can relate to this dilemma.
Ads need to be created that show O’s complicity in corporate welfare and crony capitalism. Steering public funds and guarantees to his wealthy campaign contributors betrays his self-serving hypocrisy.
I even think ads about the creepy Obama flag, perhaps linked with snippets illustrating his narcissim could help. As well, ads that reveal his administration’s eagerness to compromise national security by divulging classified info to Hollywood filmmakers; his poor record of attending Daily Briefings; choosing to travel to Las Vegas in the midst of a terrorist attack; etc. etc. are all fair game that could be exploited.
Romney needs to hit harder. The PACS need to hit harder. This is nothing less than an existential battle that will determine the future of our country.

    • HObama HObamanana

It should be easy enough to quote from lines in “Rules for Radicals” and associate them with Obama’s policies.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75jmVKgZixg&feature=player_embedded#!

    • http://www.theindependentview.com/ Matthew J. Weaver

During the campaign in 2008 we posted here on NoQuarterUSA a lot of video and audio clips of Obama, that, in his own words, define him as a Marxist, a socialist, and expose the friends he’s chosen throughout his life. It appears the media will now be “discovering” these finally over the remaining weeks of the 2012 campaign. They are old news but as we can now make comparison of the last four years to his overall life, we can confirm without mistake that Obama has always been a Marxist, always been a socialist, and has always had a poor choice of friends.

      • HObama HObamanana

Back in 2008 the MSM refused to look into these. Now that such videos and audio clips are resurfacing they excuse their unwillingness to look into them as “old news.” News to whom?

  • akaPatience

Okay, I just pored over the latest Pew poll that shows Obama ahead by 8%. Buried in the very lengthy report it states that the methodology was to ask to speak to the YOUNGEST adult in the household. Now, can someone explain to me how and why this would contribute to a poll’s accuracy? Also, the data never clearly stated how the final numbers were weighted along partisan lines but from some statistics listed it appears that 12% more Democrats may have been included in the final results than Republicans. There were also more Independents included than Republicans. Bottom line: I discount the poll’s accuracy due to very questionable methodology. Why am I not surprised? Folks, they’re trying their damnedest to discourage us and suppress turnout for Romney.

    • MJP

In 04 all the polls were showing Kerry ahead.

      • HObama HObamanana

If Romney decides to play hardball and begins directly associating the deaths in Libya with Obama using the right optics none of these polls will matter in the least. And it really could change the conventional wisdom that this will be a close election into another story entirely.

    • KenoshaMarge

This tactic is supposed to depress anti-Obama voters and delight Obama supporters so that the first stays home and the second races to the polls on November 6th so that they can brag that they voted for the winner. The POS Prezzy.
Don’t ask if we the people are that stupid because it’s quite apparent that some of us are. If there weren’t millions of stupid, juvenile, easily persuadable voters Obama would be POTUS.

      • KenoshaMarge

And just FYI, the whole “Romney is toast” meme is a big, fat lie. No surprise that the MSM would lie, is it? And isn’t that sad?

Crisis, what crisis? Gallup poll shows Mitt Romney CLOSING to just one point behind Barack Obama http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2205171/Gallup-poll-shows-Mitt-Romney-CLOSING-just-point-Barack-Obama.html

        And how about this?

        New Hampshire: Romney 48%, Obama 45% http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/new_hampshire/election_2012_new_hampshire_president

        • HObama HObamanana

I don’t think that any of the polls matter at this point. Karl Rove pointed out last night that at this point in 1980 Carter was leading Reagan 47% to 39%. And we all know how that turned out.

The debates will determine how the polls shift, as will the events in the ME. There is a limited amount of dirt that can be swept under any carpet.

          • KenoshaMarge

I think they matter only in the idea the MSM is attempting to plant in voters minds that Obama cannot lose. In that context they do matter. Too many will simply not watch the debates because they have all ready decided that either Obama can’t/won’t lose or that Romney can’t/won’t win.
I also fear the shoddiness of those who will ask the questions at the debates. Every possible way that they can help Obama, they will. They have no honesty, integrity or character.
Just for instance, the debate on October 3rd is moderated by Jim Leher. Do you think him an impartial moderator? He sold his soul to liberalism a long, long time ago. Do you think for one minute that he will give Romney a fair shake? Because I do not!
Or Candy Crowley on October 16th?
Or even laughable in the biased moderator with Bob Schieffer on October 22nd?
Or how about the VP debates? Think Paul Ryan will get a fair shake from Martha Radical Raddatz?

            • HObama HObamanana

I’m placing my trust in Romney’s willingness to call out these “moderators” when they ask something unfair and biased. Mitt got quite good at standing up for himself, putting moderators in their place and demolishing his opponents during the primary.

              • KenoshaMarge

I’m hoping that he does just that. Even if he does their bias and slant will work against him.

These are NOT decent, honest people. These are liberals on a mission and they are dangerous to our country and our elections.

They elected Obama in 2008 and believe they can do so again.

                • HObama HObamanana

They can believe what they like. I’m starting to believe that a significant number of people that voted for Obama are embarrassed and perhaps a little ashamed that they supported a President that cares so little about citizens that he neglected to provide them with proper security in a region of the world he helped to destabilize. And that he jets off to fundraisers, campaign stops, photo ops and appearances on Letterman while the rest of the country weeps.

I think what they are waiting for is Mitt Romney to call him out on it so they have someone to support they can trust. I feel that Mitt is playing it a bit too safe when what we need more than anything else right now is bold and honest leadership. Not someone that just says Forward, someone that takes us there.

                  • http://www.projectweavers.com/ Matthew J. Weaver

Could be. Consider how Eastwood cleared the table of everyone crying racism. We can now generllay criticize Obama without immediate label of racism. That, in my opinion, is thanks to Eastwood.

                  • KenoshaMarge

If people are waiting for Romney to turn into a fire breathing dragon I suspect they will be disappointed.

He is a reserved man who would not be “real” if he tried that. But being as authentic as we allow our politicians to be and telling the people the truth as he sees it should be enough.

The most mind boggling thing about this whole campaign is that everytime he tells the truth he is attacked for a “gaffe”. Isn’t that sad?

For the infants who want “cool” and “likable”, that would be most of the MSM, he will never fit their bill.

He’s a long way from perfect but in this race he’s far superior to the other choice.

                    • CathyInKs

Agree with you KenoshaMarge! Also wanted to add I’ve never found Obama “cool” as in charismatic like Bill Clinton. Rather I find Obama “chilly” and not really caring about anyone but himself. Romney – on the other hand – comes across as the man he is – a man full of strength of character, a man I can trust, a man who will work very hard to put Americans back to work, start getting our economy back on track, and a man who will not sell out the citizens of this country to our enemies.

                    • KenoshaMarge

I was not a Romney fan at first. When the field narrowed I saw him as the only one who stood a chance against the Obama campaign and the obamamedia. Them being one and the same.

I now find him a decent man. A better human being than either Obama or Bill Clinton.

I never found Bill Clinton charismatic but that’s just me. I don’t “trust” any politician and Bill Clinton is a known liar and womanizer. I don’t like men like that. He disgraced his office because he couldn’t keep his hands off other women.

The most powerful man in the world ruined the life of a 22 year old intern. I found that then, and find it now, reprehensible.

                  • CathyInKs

This is purely anecdotal but my “gut feeling” is that people are for R2 but are afraid to say it because the lefties are so nasty and mean. I live in a republican area but I sometimes drive into democrat areas. (A Tale of Two Cities – sort of) I carefully considered bumper stickers on the car and we went with the “empty chair” because we didn’t want our car vandalized with an obvious R2 sticker. I also have 2 stories – one friend who said she’s voting for Romney because she doesn’t think our country can survive 4 more years of Obama. Another friend who’s very pro-Romney is talking to everyone that will listen to get them to vote for Romney! She was in the grocery store the other day complaining out loud about the escalating food prices when a man an aisle away from her agreed with her and he was definitely voting in Nov. for the man who’s not in office. My take – a lot of people may not exactly be for Romney but Obama’s scaring them and they’ll vote for Romney because 4 more years of Obama is going to destroy us.

                    • HObama HObamanana

I also live in a very Republican pocket of the state but there are very Dim pockets nearby and some of the believers are quite militant. So no stickers for me, at least not right now. As the election comes nearer I may put out a yard sign and dare anyone to mess with it. But I agree, I think lots of people are very dissatisfied with Obama but aren’t openly admitting it at the moment.

          • FLDemFem

Obama isn’t trying to sweep dirt under the carpet, he is trying to sweep buckets of American blood under the carpet, and that isn’t going to work.

Not just racing to the polls in November, but to get going with early voting which has already begun or will soon begin. Why wait? Jump on the O’bandwagon now!

        • KenoshaMarge

Gotta also get all those dead folks and illegals to vote. Cause asking for I.D. is suppressing people’s right to corrupt the system.

      • http://www.facebook.com/dawn.bushey.3 Dawn Bushey

it that’s what its meant to do they’ve misread the anger/passion of the anti Obama vote AND the laziness/our guy’s winning I don’t need to vote of the Obama supporters

    • http://www.projectweavers.com/ Matthew J. Weaver

I thought “discourage and suppress” where terms reserved for Republicans?!

I definitely agree that the media is trying to create a result that Obama is leading and therefore wins. I hope they are in for a Truman vs. Dewey type of surprise.

I live in northern Virginia, a rather Democratic area. There is no visible support for Obama. No yard signs, no stickers on cars. There are, instead, lots of yard signs for Romney and a few car stickers. If yard signs were an indicator, Romney has northern Virginia by a landslide.

      • http://www.facebook.com/dawn.bushey.3 Dawn Bushey

saw that there was a Virginia poll with Obama ahead by 5 or 6% but the poll was based on +8 D’s when Virginia actually a +3 R registration

    • beachnan

It is so obvious that the leftists in the msm are trying desparately to push this inept president over the finish line by hook or crook. Misleading stories, no problem. Misleading polls, no problem. Every poll I have been able to check out has been overpolling Democrats by huge margins. What surprises me, is that some conservative pundits haven’t gotten the memo that these polls are inaccurate and they go with the false narrative that Obama is leading or inevitable. Laura Ingraham, and Jon Scott this morning on Fox doing the doom and gloom stories. I have been contacting them on their websites and giving them crap and I suggest that people do the same until they get the message that this is not helping. They need to focus on one thing–getting this President out of office.

      • HObama HObamanana

I totally agree with you. These are folks sitting on the sidelines lamenting their self imagined pre-defined outcome. I suggest that instead, they use the tools available to them to get folks motivated to oust this maniac destroying our country. Ingraham has a large audience, you’d think she have more sense.

      • akaPatience

Good for you beachnan for contacting those folks. I don’t even know who Jon Scott is but I’ve seen Laura Ingraham on TV a few times. I think she was one of several conservatives last time around who boneheadedly couldn’t resist criticizing McCain (actually I think she preferred Romney in the 2008 primaries but I could be wrong). Ditto for George Will, Peggy Noonan, David Brooks, Joe Scarborough and others. They can really be destructively pompous. Maybe there wouldn’t be as many millions of people out of work today, who’ve lost their homes, nest eggs and sense of worth if McCain would’ve prevailed. I blame those talking heads as much as anybody else. Liberal pundits, hypocrites though they often are, are smart enough to tow the party line at critical times.

  • akaPatience

Matthew, those pictures are a riot! I just checked The Drudge Report and wouldn’t you know O is selling a pseudo American flag that features his dippy logo where the stars on Old Glory should be. Can you imagine how mock-worthy something like this would be if he were a conservative? The derision would be endless…

    • getfitnow

The creep factor of these people is off
      the charts.

Those streaks of red kinda reminded me of the bloody handprints left by
one of the 4 dead Americans on the Libyan consulate wall as they were
being dragged to their deaths. Still can’t get them out of my mind.

      I’m disgusted.

  • CathyInKs

Matthew when I look at the pictures above – I don’t think of even a misguided savior – I think of the Patron saint of Liars and Frauds! Hey – I guess everyone needs a patron saint. Now the liars and frauds have one!

    • HObama HObamanana

      Does Satan have saints?

  • JJ_the_PUMA

Its worth the $5.00 to have a chance to be one of the “disciples” . Can’t make up my mid if I would be Judas or “Doubting Thomas”.

    • Garookie

Nah! I want to be one of the guys that will nail the POS pretender to a cross. I think I’d use a couple more nails just to be sure he doesn’t squirm out of his come-uppance.

  • HELENK2

do not sit near tweety he tingles and tinkles in backtrack’s presence

    • KenoshaMarge

Like a teenager with a crush. So repulsive in a grown man.

  • HObama HObamanana

It’s a shame the price of admission isn’t 30 pieces of silver.

  • HObama HObamanana

Obama loves his country so much and respects those fallen while he is the CIC that he schedules an interview with an entertainment magazine and a secret photo session the afternoon after he takes time out of his busy schedule campaigning and fundraising to say a few words at Andrews Air Force Base. Heck of a guy that Barky. Sensitive and always thinking of others. He takes his responsibilities seriously too.

    • DianaLC

He knows that an entertainment mag and fundraising news are the only things that his supporters want to read. Do you really expect his supporters to care about the country? It’s all about them and their role model.

      • HObama HObamanana

I think his supporters are as clueless and uncaring as he is. They attempt to emulate his every move. They have no idea how much debt we are in and they, like their savior, don’t even care. Because it’s not relevant in the short term, which defined means that it won’t affect them, so why worry. Nothing a few more Obamabucks won’t solve. Word!

    • KenoshaMarge

Yeah, he’s such a sensitive and likable fella. Which is what we need in the White House in these perilous times. And being multi-racial and multi-cultural seems to be working very well too. s/

“The deal with multiculturalism is that the only culture you’re allowed to disapprove of is your own.” ~ Martin Amis

      • HObama HObamanana

Great cartoon. So true. The American people are victims of this pretender to the throne. Those that voted for him don’t deserve any relief, consideration or sympathy.

        • KenoshaMarge

Perhaps those who were sucker punched by the blatant media bias and voted for Obama in 2008 do deserve some consideration, certainly not any sympathy.

Anyone who votes for him in 2012 deserves nothing but contempt.

          • HObama HObamanana

I agree with your last sentence though I do think you are being much too reserved and kind.

            • KenoshaMarge

Well you know me Ho, always reserved and kind when it comes to obama vermin.

      • FLDemFem

As someone who was born abroad to Foreign Service parents, I was taught that being multicultural meant that you knew how to handle yourself in many different cultures without offending anyone. It didn’t mean adopting everyone’s culture as your own.

        • KenoshaMarge

You have a perspective that most of us don’t have.

I never thought much about it as being “multicultural” but my parents taught us that you should respect everyone unless and until they gave you a reason not to.

Heaven forbid that we disrespected someone simply based on skin color or culture. We’d have been corrected, correction applied to the seat of our pants, immediately.

We were taught that bigotry was not only wrong but that it was stupid. And we weren’t allowed to act stupid.

  • http://www.theindependentview.com/ Matthew J. Weaver

Okay, I should have put a warning with the “More” link.

    • Theymustbemorons

Too late. I already fell off my chair!

  • MJP

I don’t want to dislike this man so much. If we could just get rid of him as president, I think I could be a better person. I know I would be a happier one.
