The Obama Benghazi Coverup

There is now no doubt. The Obama Administration is lying to the American people and pushing a storyline about what happened in Benghazi that is not supported by the intelligence reports. When members of Congress have the chance to review the intelligence produced in the three months prior to the attack on 9-11 and read the actual intelligence briefings produced on 12 and 13 September they will be incensed because the evidence against Obama is so clear, so definitive and so damning.

What were these people thinking? There is plenty of blame to go around. As I pointed out in an earlier piece, Hillary Clinton has blood on her hands because Diplomatic Security was denied, based on her authority, permission to employ security tactics and procedures that normally accompany every Ambassador in a high threat post. It is still not clear who on the 7th Floor at State made the decision, but Hillary is ultimately in charge and must bear the responsibility.

Then there is the Obama National Security team. What were they thinking when they knowingly sent Susan Rice out on every Sunday morning TV show to lie her sorry ass off. Rice lacks the authority to do that on her own. She was acting with the permission and direction of Barack Obama. What kind of despicable human being is Barack Obama? He sends out one of his advisors to spread a lie.

What happened in Benghazi was a deliberate hit by Al Qaeda. Nothing more, nothing less.

Barack Obama and his team deliberately excluded counter terrorism officials from consultations at the White House in the wake of the attack. Why? They did not want to have to admit that Al Qaeda, touted as dead and buried, had hit America again on the 11th anniversary of the original 9-11 attacks. Obama was counting on running as the man who killed the terrorists. Now he has to run as the man who allowed terrorists to kill his Ambassador to Libya. That is not hope or change worth a campaign.

This story is far from done. More information will emerge in the public over the next couple of weeks. The CIA operation in Benghazi will be fully exposed. The failure to employ basic security practices and procedures for Ambassador Stevens will be fully exposed. The warnings, ignored by the Obama White House, of Al Qaeda attacks in Libya will be fully exposed.

Obama is dead politically. He just does not know it yet.

Kudos to the three Heroes (Gregory Hicks, Eric Nordstrom,
and Mark Thompson), who are the ones possibly sacrificing their future careers, for the sake of sticking with THE TRUTH, and saying it AS IT WAS, not as Obama’s administration want to make it look like.

  • difference30360@yahoo.com

What we, as Americans, really need to know, and the Congress need to investigate is why all the survivors have been sequestered and made to sign NDA’s. There is something there that has nothing to do with national
security; it has everything to do with the truth. And this administration fears
    the Truth . . .

  • difference30360@yahoo.com

Obama’s Benghazi = Four Times worse than Watergate, because
of the four innocent people dying, with NO HELP from US Government. This should
be considered TREASON . . .and the responsible people (regardless of how “high
officials” they are, should be held responsible . . .

  • Retired_from_SPOnaj

Larry, I understand that the FBI has contracted with CNN to gather evidence in Benghazi. CNN has been on the ground there since the start. It’s still to dangerous for the FBI.

Suffolk actually has a decent demographic poll for VA. Based on this VA poll Romney is likely going all in during the debates. It is where he can make some movement.

At 45% – 43%, Obama has a 2% edge with voters. 7% are undecided, 3% will vote other. 15% say they may change their mind.
Here is where it is interesting, When asked who is the better debator, 46% say Obama, 19% say Romney, and 31% say undecided. Romney just needs a decent debate, hold his own, not even a home run. I guarantee he will exceed that.
At least 1% in this poll who think Obama is a better debater are not going to vote for him. 24% who think Romney is a worse debater will vote for him anyway. What will happen when Romney changes that impression?
This is a VA poll, but it applies in the other swing states as well.

    • JohnnyTwoDog

Oops… I posted to the wrong thread. D’Oh!

    • iert2

A decent debate will not be enough to move the needle. History tells us that at this point in the race very few challengers have ever been able to catch-up. Romney needs a game changer. He needs more than a “decent debate”.

  • JohnnyTwoDog

“It is still not clear who on the 7th Floor at State made the decision, but Hillary is ultimately in charge and must bear the responsibility.”
Hillary is a detail oriented micro manager. Libya was her baby. You bet she was involved in the no security decision.

    • TeakWoodKite

So as an act of “faith” the folks she is dealing with would be expected to follow international law on just a “by your leave”??? That is what it sounds like. Even a clandestine meeting an ambassador might make has advance security in such an environment….shit the POTUS has it 24/7 but send ‘em to a war zone with nothing more than a pocket knife? That’s BO’s MO. Obama forgot to bring the guns then started shooting blanks when he got busted for it.
I think Susan Rice is slicing it thin with Foggy Bottom and is taking direct orders from BO. That’s the way it was when she got her gig and nothing has changed. She is the person interfacing with the MB. Not Hillary.

  • JohnnyTwoDog

Patraeus just had his Colin Powell moment. The good general following orders.
“CIA Director David Petraeus, during a briefing with members of the House Intelligence Committee three days after the attack, also espoused the view that Benghazi was an out-of-control demonstration”

Now these igits have the mailing list for all the zipcodes in the country. “What a waste due to incompetence” is more what he thinks but cannot say.

“The Obama Administration is lying to the American people and pushing a storyline about what happened in Benghazi that is not supported by the intelligence reports.”
Who is lying? Rice and Carney in the first few days saying there was not evidence at the time that it was an organized attack was not lying. They were simply saying not to rush to judgement, which was 100% the appropriate thing to say. Once more facts and analysis came out the Obama Adminstration, including Hillary Clinton was quite quick to say that in fact it was an organized terrorist attack.
Larry Johnson in the very first post he wrote on this issue also claimed that it was a mob attack in Libya in response to a movie and the mob dragged Stevens body through the streets. Was Larry Johnson jumping to conclusions in order to attack the muslim religion? Then, on about the same timeline as the Obama Adminstration, Larry Johnson changed his tune and then said it was a terrorist attack.
By the way why are you so sure it was an Al Qaeda attack? Are you jumping to conclusion again? It is not clear which Libyan Militia did the attack and whether or not they even have a clear direct link to Al Qaeda.
“Obama is dead politically. He just does not know it yet.”
You are beating a dead horse. I guess you canidated is now so far down in the polls that you will trying anything to get elected. Sorry the American public is not buying it.

    • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

Normally, I would delete your stupid shit. But this one gets an answer. The intelligence briefings prepared before the incident explicitly warned that the “CONSULATE” would be attacked by an Al Qaeda affiliate.
The day after the attack, the intelligence briefings explicitly and clearly identify the group responsible for the attack and do not, I REPEAT, do not identify the video as the provocation.

Obama, Hillary and Rice were flat out lying.

      • CathyInKs

        Thank you Larry!

      • JohnnyTwoDog

and Patraeus were flat out lying.

        • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

Yes, Petraeus is not accurately reporting what is in the intelligence.

      • iert2

I think there is much more debate about the details amongst the intelligence community than you will admit. Not sure who your sources are, but you clearly are just getting one view or more likely, as you always do, you are just choosing one conclusion so you can launch a political attack. Where you this political when you were in the CIA?

        • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

No, I’ve actually seen the intel and read the actual briefs.

        • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

Informing you of facts you do not like to hear is not being “political.” The facts are the facts.

      • iert2

      • getfitnow

You are right. All of us who still maintain a LAN line pay for it. However, it was meant for emergency calls for the disabled who are not able to leave the house. That qualification has expanded obviously.

I feel the service shouldn’t include cell phones. They are a convenience, not a necessity. If someone is home bound, a LAN line should be sufficient.

a gathering storm. the differences in protection for diplomats

  • HObama HObamanana

I woke up this morning and still have my head. That probably offended Muslims all over the world. Like I really care.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Muslim Brotherhood is tied to what happened in Libya. Maybe not a direct link because they are sneaky bastards, but I bet something pops up.

Speaking of sneaky bastards, I happened to catch a few things Egyptian President Morsi said that revealed his true purpose. While discussing infidels insulting his dear departed prophet, Morsi was quoted as saying:

“We reject this. We cannot accept it,” Morsi said, his voice thin with anger. “We will not allow anyone to do this by word or deed.”

So he isn’t going to allow it. Is that like an Obama stomping his foot thing or is he going to do something more drastic like hold his breath until we stop?

Later during the same rant, Morsi did his very best Obama impression, completely oblivious to any irony at all.

“Egypt respects freedom of expression,” said Morsi, who was the candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood movement once banned by the U.S.-backed secular dictatorship of Hosni Mubarak. But “not a freedom of expression that targets a specific religion or a specific culture.”

So I’m guessing that calling Jews vampires isn’t targeting a specific religion or culture. Because Israel doesn’t really exist in the Muslim Brotherhood’s eyes. A bunch of apes and dogs are running loose in a land they are not entitled to be in. Vampire apes and dogs at that.

But, as we see, Obama knew or should have known
it was terrorism from the beginning. Instead, though designating the
attack as terrorism for internal purposes, the administration peddled a
very different theory on the Sunday talk shows. And when it briefed
Congress, the administration provided what Sen. Bob Corker has described
as “the most useless, worthless briefing I have attended in a long
      time.”

Corker and Jim DeMint have introduced

a good reason on why backtrack is dangerous for this country

  • KenoshaMarge

The media will refuse to report this as well as any other “fact” that isn’t positive for Obama. Their behavior is contemptible.
Sooner or later the facts will come out.

Will the truth penetrate the thick skulls of the obamacrats? Or is the “free” stuff more important than their country?

  • getfitnow

An obvious cover-up. It’s a damn shame that the media have abdicated their duty to hold this administration accountable. I’ve followed politics for a long time, and I’ve never seen anything like it.

  • HObama HObamanana

The fate of Mr. Obama rests with Mitt Romney. Will he be given deferential treatment because of the office he holds or will Mitt lay into him, calling him out for what we all know he is: A lazy liar and thief? I’m guessing that Mitt will slowly and steadily trot out these direct assaults on Obama until the first debate where I expect sparks will fly.

This coverup is not solely being perpetrated by Obama and his media sycophants. The entire Dim party is marching in lockstep to the tune of the lie. What it demonstrates is that not a one of them, even those retiring with nothing to lose, will choose country before party. They have, none of them, a shred of moral rectitude and bear equal complicity in this crime.

    • HoosierinDixie

I think Mitt is planning to bring up Benghazi in the debates because he keeps saying Obama does not want the American people to know the truth out on the stump. Unfortunately the first debate is about domestic policy. The second debate is a mix of issues and is being moderated by Candy Crowley. Of all of them I believe she will be the one most likely to cover this subject. CNN has taken a lot of heat for releasing the details in the Ambassador’s journal and are insisting the public has a right to know the truth. They have even gone as far to bring one of the bosses on air to emphasize that point. But just to be on the safe side, I think we should start sending her some emails inquiring about the coverup.

      • HObama HObamanana

It doesn’t matter that the subject matter for the first debate is domestic policy. What is more domestic than a President that has lied to and is intentionally keeping the truth away from the American people? Whether a terrorist attack occurs on the mainland or at a Consulate in some foreign land it is still an attack upon Americans and America.

I am certain that the representative from state controlled media will cry foul and attempt to silence Romney. To hell with that. Mitt needs to hit him hard, hit him frequently and hit him below the belt. Even if O tries the hope-a-dope and said media lackey tries to ring the bell, Mitt should keep on punching. Hard to the body, a few kidney punches and a knee to the nuts should put Obama in the right position for the knock out blow. At that point Mitt could probably say boo and watch Barky hit the mat.

As dramatic as I’ve made this scenario, it’s probably exactly what Romney needs to do to breach the palace media guard and wake up the slumbering American people.

        • HoosierinDixie

LOL. I have to admit I would love to see your scenario play out if for nothing more than the entertainment factor. But I think it would have the effect you mentioned from his minions. The headlines would emphasize not what he said but more how he was “Disrespectful to the President.” I believe Mitt will be throwing punches and counter punches much like he did to Newt in the primary debates. His most important job is to get out all the information that the media has been neglecting to tell the American people. Mitt is not a barroom brawler, he is a boardroom brawler.I think he has a lifetime experience neutralizing men like Obama when given the opportunity and without the media running interference. I do agree he should try to bring up issues in the first debate but I think these things are pretty scripted beforehand. Hitting Obama on foreign policy and the coverup in the second debate allows more details to come out and provides Mitt with a growing momentum in the debates.

          • akaPatience

I agree Hoosier. While I do hope Romney’s able to land some punches, I think above all he needs to come off as more presidential than pugilistic.

Larry – admittedly I’m a Fox news junkie as well as NQ junkie but I think this is big and Fox news is covering this today big time. They also said to date – 16 days after the attack in Benghazi no FBI agents have been on the ground. • DianaLC

I worry that the polls are indeed fixed. But I worry that too many people will see the fixed polls and then choose to think it’s useless to vote. Please vote and tell all your friends to vote. I am helping to count votes in my county. I trust our county clerk to do it right, but our county because of her has no scandals involved with the voting process. People who live in areas where ballot counting is an issue MUST learn to take back the voting process.

Inflating Obama’s lead could backfire in a way — some of his lazier supporters may not make the effort to vote if they think it’s in the bag. I think his opponents are liklier to vote even if they may be demoralized.

Unfortunately that makes a lot of sense.

            • JohnnyTwoDog

I don’t worry about excuses of voter fraud. The false polls are setting up massive riots if Obama loses.

          • JohnnyTwoDog

The overwhelming majority of those people will not vote whether Obama is ahead or behind. 2008 was an anomoly. They Obama voters were whipped into a delerious frenzy in 2008 and that fervor does not exist in 2012. It is extremely hard to motivate the unmotivated.

Well, because these are liars that are OK with lying and they also believe that they’re going to get away with their lies. I know this site rags on Fox News as I do as well. But they are frankly the only network in the old media who will break a story like this and run with it. The rest are busy covering for Obama.

    • DianaLC

There was a time when I wouldn’t have watched Fox at all, but I do agree that it pulled me in by being the ONLY news channel that would report anything negative about Obama.

      • akaPatience

Ditto Diana. I generally don’t like to watch too much TV news in the evening but I enjoy Greta Van Susteren’s show very much.

        • DianaLC

I usually like Greta, but the other night I got a little annoyed because there was much important news to cover, and all I heard was complaints about the Packers game and the NFL ref strike.
(Sorry, I am just not a fan of football, and the only sports I even half-way show interest in are the Olympics.)

    • getfitnow

I thought I read that Obama went to bed like, 90 minutes after he heard about the attack. Is this correct?

  • http://www.facebook.com/mary.cusack Mary Cusack

Obama is not dead. there is always something to pull his sorry ass over the finish line. He could eat dead babies on television and still win

  • no_longer_a_democrat

“Obama is dead politically. He just does not know it yet.”

I just don’t see this happening, we have the most corrupt American media, they will not cover any of this, they will lie for their Messiah. He can basically do anything wrong, they will cover it. We don’t have a MSM, we have an extension of the Barry’s campaign and govt, who are unpaid shills of the MSM.

    • TexMexSoup

WOW, folks on here are finally starting to see the writing on the wall that I have been saying for the past 3.6 years. Obama is going to get reelected. There are bigger forces in affect here. The ” globalist” Luciferian agenda. The end times. I know it sounds kooky or far fetched but it’s not. It is so so so obvious now.

AND sorry folks Romney is in on the fix. Why on earth would Mittens Romney NOT one single damn time bring up the fact that Obama is also a MILLIONAIRE? I talk to some idiot dems and they are completely clueless about this when I bring it up. Romney or scruffy the dog could wipe the floor clean with Obama but he doesn’t.

My last hope is the debates. If Romney has the balls to expose this invader in office then maybe there is a chance. I doubt it.

      • DianaLC

I keep giving Romney the benefit of the doubt. In my heart, I do believe he is a nice and honorable man whose every instinct is NOT to play dirty. I’ve always wanted a candidate in it for the ideas he/she has for helping–not for the power. I’ve wanted finally an honest candidate.
I’m hoping that soon he will get the message as he did during the primary about Gingrich. Unfortunately you DO have to get down on the low road with your opponent.
I don’t think, however, that Romney is “in on the fix.” I think he is as frustrated as all of us are about that fix.

        • TexMexSoup

come on, with all due respect Diana. Romney rolls in the same shit obama does. Don’t fool yourself. They ALL do. They ALL have to answer to the puppet masters in order to survive politically. You don’t push the agenda, you go away….

          • DianaLC

TexMexSoup, I have been reading about Romney, and I hoped you watched some of the testimonials about him from the people whose lives he’s touched in personal ways. I think this candidate is different. He won’t be perfect if elected, but when have you ever lived under a governor who refused his pay? When have you seen an official reject his pay, as Romney did for the Olympics? When did you see a man decide to make it on his own with a young wife and give away his inheritence from a well-to-do father?
I am not so cynical as to think these were all moves to “appear” good so he could screw us later.

        • JohnnyTwoDog

Romney IS the guy Obama promised to be.

      • MJP

“Never give up!” Winston Churchill said it as did Jim Valvano.

Reagan was way behind Carter in the polls.
There is no time for this talk.

      • getfitnow

I don’t want to hear Romney saying, “see, he’s a millionaire too.”

These “poles” and msm are throwing up so much smoke and mirrors, scruffy and anybody else would have the same problem.

This isn’t just another political campaign. I’ve never seen the msm come out in full force against one of the candidate. It’s historic!

They didn’t see the silent wave in 2010, they didn’t see any of the outcomes in Wisconsin, and I believe that silent wave will be a tsunami in Nov.

  • Constance

“…Hillary is ultimately in charge and must bear responsibilty.”

Have the rules changed sometime between now and 9/11, 2001? Who was in charge then? Who bears responsibilty for what happened that day? At least whoever was in charge managed to get everyone out of Building 7 before they “pulled” it…unlike Tower 1 and Tower 2. And at least they were able to destroy all those important government documents in Building 7 before they could fall into the hands of the terrorists.

    • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

The Bush Administration ignored clear intelligence warnings. Bush bore the responsibility for the first 9-11.

      • Dissentispatriotic

Larry, it’s reported on either Fox or CNN that there were intel warnings back to the spring that there were serious concerns about security in that region. Wouldn’t Obama have received those reports? Of course, unless it was one of the days he skipped the briefing.

        • JohnnyTwoDog

CNN was reporting it in the spring. He only has time for ESPN.

  • KenoshaMarge

I hope that you are right that more information will emerge.

Because from where I sit, and from what I can see, instead of having a press that ferrets out cover-ups in an administration we have one that is complicit.

It’s a little past midnight here, so not sure how to characterize the Hannity show I watched Wednesday. He is the one person I’ve noticed who is really, really bothered by this “lying” about the way the events in Benghazi unfolded.
He also had Bob Woodward on. Woodward’s take on what will become of our economy if O is re-selected was pretty darned depressing.
Thus, here I am again not able to sleep. I am most depressed by the fact that I don’t feel O’s die-hard supporters care about our Constitutional ideals. I won’t be around that much longer, but I worry for my kids, who are just trying to live decent lives.
I hope you’re right about O being dead politically. I really do, but the drumbeat about the polls in the “important” states is drowning out all the cries for justice. I can’t help but think that if I were a member of one of the families of those killed in Benghazi, I would have wanted to punch both Hillary and Obama in the face for attending the ceremonies when their bodies were returned.

    • HELENK2

when I watched them bring the dead home and get up and speak, I had the weirdest thought. I kept thinking I wonder if they allowed the Marine color guard to have real bullets?
If I were the family of the ambassador, someone would have to give me a damn good answer on why his journal was not protected after his death and allowed to fall in to the hands of CNN. It was bad enough he did not get proper protection when he was alive but his private thoughts were not protected after his death.
This has to have been one of the worst failures of our government ever. With these people in charge no one is safe

      • DianaLC

I hope Stevens’ family does get angry and begin asking questions. I remember how angry I was when GW lied about Pat Tillman’s death in Afghanistan for political purposes. No American’s death while serving our country should be a ping pong ball in a political battle.
Dang I wish the country’s politicians could get back to the “notion” (one of O’s favorite words) that country came before party.

      • elizabethrc

I read yesterday that the FBI still hasn’t gotten inside the facility. What is going on???????

        • MarkFtLaud

Exactly. However, CNN was able to get in……and pickup a diary…..what else was “picked up” This disgraceful episode is just more of the same.

    • akaPatience

Diana, I’m of course sick of the lying and media bias but I’m EXTREMELY worried about the economy. Our business has suffered terribly. We got a bit of a lucky break this past year but it’s not enough to sustain us long-term if things don’t pick up soon. I have a feeling a lot of other small businesses are in the same boat as we are, and we’re all like a line of dominos waiting to topple. I don’t think it’s far fetched to fear some degree of civil disorder if this economic trend keeps up.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=757378721 Jay Lawyer

Yes your point is well taken. How can us as citizens feel safe when almost half our population believes in Obama’s administration and their views. Constitution doesn’t matter, our laws don’t matter – and maybe worse is that NONE of our elected politicians seem to care that he (obummer) does just as he damn well pleases. And Hannity seems to be about the only one trying to do or say anything about it. Generations to come are going to pay an awful high price for these 4 years.

  • TexMexSoup

Just like obama ordered the killing of bin Laden. That dude was dead long ago AND to have his “body” dumped at Sea so quickly is a crock of royal smelly shit. The biggest villain of all time and he gets buried in a quickie?? Yeah freaking right.

Obama the “black muslim” lol thanks madonut.

    • getfitnow

Obama the “black muslim” lol thanks madonut
      ****************
What is it with these liberal fools and their potty mouths? Whoopi went off on Ann Coulter. I’m not a fan of either woman, but Coulter’s point was about white liberals and how they continue to take advantage of blacks with idle promises that keep them beholden to the DEM party. Whoopi jumped all over her, saying that was BS (it was bleeped) and how did she know how it felt to be black.
And then Samuel (can’t act at all) Jackson cuts an ad for Obama telling people to “wake the “EFF” up and vote.
Talk about the worst coming out. And these are supposedly the adults.

  • Theymustbemorons

Makes me wonder what it must feel like to be a member of the foreign service or the CIA or FBI or any other agent of the government who might be overseas on assignment at this time. What does it feel like, knowing that not only can you be out there without necessary security, but also that when you’re dead and covered with the flag, the people at the highest levels of the government will tell endless lies to secure their jobs, their power, and their place in history — over your dead body.

  • akaPatience

Thanks for this Larry. I have a feeling some legislators know about these things you’ve been telling us about and that’s why a few days ago they asked Hillary to provide them with more info (AS IF). In the article I read about it, it was said the State Dept. hadn’t even set up an investigation team yet. If this info isn’t leaked in an effective way I fear it could take ages to work its way through the bowels of bureaucracy.

    • beachnan

Is it typical to call in the FBI to do this type of investigation? If it isn’t, do you have any idea why? This administration has appeared dysfunctional from the very begining. “Amateur Hour” might aptly describe them.

      • akaPatience

I don’t know anything about protocol of matters like this (Larry would) but State will evidently be conductiong an in-house investigation. No doubt it’ll be eager to reveal the error of its ways.

        • DianaLC

You’re obviously being facetious. If not you’re going to need lots of that patience.

          • akaPatience

Diana, I’m using up so much patience I’m going to have to change my username before too long!

      • piattq

My understanding is the rationale is that a consulate is “US territory”—thus FBI investigation. However, this makes no sense and I think there may be problems with FBI on foreign soil.

  • HARP2

The only way this will see the light of day is if Romney brings it up at the debates.

    • mcnorman

Romney must address this issue during the debates.

  • Theymustbemorons

Another courageous post, Mr. Johnson. Is he dead enough (politically) to lose the election? If he and his team can summon the balls to conduct an in-your-face, on the t.v., lying campaign to cover up the real reasons for the murders of four American patriots, then what are they prepared to do to the election process itself?

    • randi

If you follow BO’s history of election tactics – the formula is pretty simple. – start early, rewrite opponents history, unlimited severe character assassination, turn opponent strength into weakness, manipulate news cycles – use lots of dismiss/deflect/denigrate and ridicule, and if all else fails, pull the rug out from under your opponent at the last moment. How do you do that with an opponent that has no history of drink/drugs/sex scandals? Taxes. So, I think it is possible that the campaign narrative has prepared the groundwork to have Romney indicted on some tax issue. So much money and so many pages of tax returns. Bound to be errors somewhere. I think the BO campaign has full copies and has prepared their ‘smoking gun’. The taxes will ‘leak out anonymously’. Romney can fight and win in court later – but the idea is to cripple his candidacy at the last moment. That’s how I would write this story if it were a book plot. I’d also write MR’s campaign as being ready with a counter ‘scandal’.

      • DianaLC

I am hoping that the reason Romney didn’t release taxes earlier was that he directed the accountants to go over them with a fine-tooth comb to get double check for trouble along the lines you mention.

        • randi

The danger is that BO’s campaign has laid the groundwork brilliantly for
this scenario to work. The election hinges on a small percentage in a
few states. The public ‘perception’ created is that MR is a very evil Capitalist – everything that is/and has gone wrong economically in this country is due to people like Mitt. The deflection from the real causes has been accomplished.
So, imagine the taxes are anonymously released..an issue or two are
discovered…the MSM jumps on it – these taxes are complicated – we live
in a culture of judgment before careful analysis. I just hope that MR’s
campaign has prepared for this possible scenario.

          • TeakWoodKite

Fast approaches events that Obama will not recover from because he is in WAY over his head. It was on his watch that he set these events in motion. Come November 6th Obama will be a bold face liar exposed. BO is a failure in every respect.

            • HObama HObamanana

You hit the nail on the head. Obama is the one that set the events in Libya in motion; everything that led up to and including the 4 murders.

      • Garookie

I found a link that I hope can be the scandal to help bring down our POS POTUS
        http://www.wnd.com/2012/09/claim-obama-hid-gay-life-to-become-president/

        • DianaLC

Garookie, this information is not new to many of us on this blog. All this was brought out even during the ’08 primary. It’s another one of those things that the MSM covered and is still covering.
I’ll explain it this way: The uber progressives just do not care. In some of their circles it’s cool to be gay or bi. In fact, probably the only one on O’s team who would be furious if this did get out is MEchelle.
On a different but analogous note: Last night on Hannity, when Hannity tried to say that Reid’s trashing Romney about his supposed bad behavior as a Mormon allows others to trash O about his decades long trips to Wright’s church. The lib commentator just threw it aside saying she was an ex-Christian who is an ex-Christian because she determined (on her own, I suspect) that Christians were all hypocrites and so she just doesn’t listen to anything about a candidates’ religious ties.

        • HObama HObamanana

I don’t care if Obama is gay. I care that he is an incompetent and dangerous president that does not respect or defend our Constitution.

      • TeakWoodKite

Taxes? Easy one to respond to. If Turbo Tax Timmy was not fired for not filing any, the double standard and lack of ethical integrity should be ponded home by Romney.

  • binky354

Obama’s not dead if the media covers for him. But, I wish. Politically we’re talking.

    • TexMexSoup

AND the media is covering for him so he is far from politically dead. Especially here in NV. Union idiots run amuck, whoring themselves for the usurper.

  • Retired_from_SPOnaj

    Fortunately for Obama:
    1. Congress will not be able to view any reports until after the election.
    2. The press will withhold all information that they have on Benghazi so as not to “influence the election.”
    3. Candidate Romney, who would normally be entitled to briefings on this topic, wil not receive them due to an administrative snafu.

    • akaPatience

Your scenario seems most plausible to me Retired. The only chance I can envision of the story getting out before the election is if someone with a truly damning piece of proof leaks it to a media outlet that’s influential and WILLING enough to spread the word.

      • HObama HObamanana

I truly want to believe that there are still a few patriotic Democrats that hold the honor of their country and our Constitution above their party and this disaster of a president.

        • foxyladi14

If there are then NOW is the time to speak up.

    • Theymustbemorons

Maybe Candidate Romney, instead of waiting for his briefing, should read this blog?

    • TeakWoodKite

On point number three; Is it possible that the snafu will expose the chaos over at Motel 1600 even more than it has to date? I am sure it not polling well for BO but since the polling is funked up, should Romney ride this bull?
Don’t you think it rather creepy that CNN would photocopy a dead man’s diary and then return it to the family?

      • HObama HObamanana

It may be creepy, but if they hadn’t have done so and reported what was in it, we would never know what was going through Ambassador Stevens’ mind prior to his death other than the scrubbed clean company line.

        • TeakWoodKite

          True.

    • HObama HObamanana

Oh, I don’t know. I read that all the members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee were pressuring Obama for answers.

    • iert2

There is nothnig to hide. More wild claims by Larry Johnson. More “Whitey Tapes”.

If this is all the GOP, Romney, Larry Johnson and Retired got then no wonder your side is getting their ass handed to them.
