Just watched the press conference introducing the team for national security with Hillary being front and center. Obama said she was a good friend and he looks forward to her participation as SOS. My oh my, it’s kind of like living in the twilight zone over and over. She was my Senator and now I’m not sure I am sorry to see her move on. What strange bedfellows we make in politics, a world separate from us mere mortals. Will the real story ever be told?

Obamaa didn’t have one good word to say about Bill or Hillary Clinton all throughout the primary, he made it seem like Ronald was the best Presidedent we have ever seen, and as soon as he became President-ELECT (still think we have a constitutional crisis very soon), he surrounds himself with Bill Clinton folks, including Hillary as SOS and Bill as a special peacemaker to Mumbai.

And in the meantime, Obama has separated Hillary from her political base of supporters by removing her from her independent senate position. Hillary will become dependent on Obama now unless she revolts against the orders he gives her to follow as SoS. He’s her boss. That alone must make Barack Obama very happy – being the misogynistic jerk he is. And it makes me sick being the REAL feminist that I am.

I think the vast majority of Obama supporters are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, even if they’re wary of some of his cabinet picks. I have no problem with his choices; the change he wants will come from him, and I’m glad that he’s not bringing in complete neophytes to handle the mess Obama’s inheriting. None of this is inconsistent with what he’s said in the past, about wanting a diverse staff who have opposing views rather than having a Bush-like crew of sycophants. And it’s certainly not lying. It just turns out that all the attempts to demonize him were unfounded. Surprise, surprise.
