When It Comes to the Economy, Obama is a Goddamned Liar

As Americans, we have never seen an Administration so committed to deceiving the American public. Whether we are talking Benghazi or the economy, Obama is flat out lying. The news of the day that Employment has magically surged and the number of unemployed has shrunk is a complete, utter fabrication.

Here are the numbers:

Our civilian population that could work has increased by 3,700,000 in since September 2011.

The number of people no longer in the labor force has increased by 2,643,000.

Here is the complete bullshit number. The BLS is claiming that 873,000 more people are working in September as compared to August 2012. That is a total fucking lie.

Even the BLS admits that only 114,000 jobs were created last month:

The unemployment rate decreased to 7.8 percent in September, and total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 114,000, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment increased in health care and in transportation and warehousing but changed little in most other major industries.

I suppose Obama and his desperate team are counting on the math ignorance of Americans.

The real number is higher. Per Bloomberg:

The so-called underemployment rate — which includes part- time workers who’d prefer a full-time position and people who want work but have given up looking — held at 14.7 percent.

This should not be a partisan matter. But as was the case in Benghazi, where Director of National Intelligence Jim Clapper lied to Congress and the American people about what the intelligence community was reporting, so too are the American people being fed a pile of complete horseshit on the true state of the economy. Job growth has not surged–this is a complete fabrication and does not accurately reflect what is going on in the economy.

        More proof that supposedly “politically neutral” parts of the government are no such thing. Everything has become so politicized that there is nothing neutral. Therefore no matter who is in power, half the electorate is not well served according to what they believe ideologically. And the country as a whole suffers for that.     The 114,000 number of new payroll jobs does not evenn keep up with populaton growth and is far below what a normal recovery/growth would be now.

    So unemployment should be at or above 8/1%. So how does it go down and go down significantly to 7.8%?

    Part time and temporary jobs. The administration says it is normal but when you say you created 800,000 new jobs in a month when the stated payoll jobs are only 114,000 is ridiculous to believe.

    Clearly they fudged the numbers to get a signifiant reduction and one that is actually below the number Obama entered office to.

    It wil be adjusted and probably back up to 8.1% or higher, but not until after election day.

    I do not think they will get away with this and this deception might even hurt Obama.

      I hope so–I know Romney and Ryan can explain it and call Obama on his attempts to play politics with the real pain of everyday people trying to get along in this terrible economy.
      Here’s my family’s personal story:
      Awhile back (about June), my younger son applied with an employment agency and was told they had found him a full-time job at better pay. They emailed him the schedule he would be working and the date and time he should report for orientation.
      Then the night before he was to go in for orientation, that agency called in a panic and told him he could not go in as THEY had not sumitted the proper background check.
      By that time, he had quit his job–one he had held for over seven years. He was tired of it, and they were cutting hours in the bad economy. It did have good benefits–health insurance, 401k matching, and pension.
      When he went back to tell them what had happened, they would only put him back to work at part-time and at the pay he had started at seven years ago.
      Rather than sue the employment agency–and they were very afraid he would–he decided just to try his best to find different work that he liked better. He’s been bouncing from part-time jobs, sometimes two at once. Now he’s doing a seven-week full-time temp job that he really likes–good pay, even getting some overtime, but it’s coming to an end in two weeks. He’s got two interviews lined up, for when he’s done with this temp job.
      But it’s been a real lesson in what is happening in this economy. It’s a darned good thing that his live-in girlfriend has a good job. We’re crossing our fingers that he will get one of the jobs he’s interviewing for, as they are full-time. But the company that put him in this temp job has actually moved him up to “team leader,” and he likes it and also hopes maybe they will find more work for him.
      Until then, though–the benefits are gone. He’ll be able to get on his girlfriend’s health insurance, so that’s a plus right now. But the 401k and pension funds were converted to a Roth IRA, and he’s just hoping he can get back to growing another fund.
      I’m proud of how he’s been scrambing and choosing NOT to sue the employment agency–he had a good case as he kept all the emails. But he just wanted to try working instead.
      I can tell you I did NOT react well to this new deception from POS POTUS.

    Can you name a single political appointee in the BLS? Even one? The agency is staffed by lifetime bureaucrats, not Obama’s “team.”

    You jobs-report truthers are just as funny as the poll truthers. You don’t like the news (which is just perverse in this case — you’re upset that people have jobs? — but whatever) so you say it must be made up. You want to divorce yourselves from reality, I guess be my guest.

    And to be clear, I’m not saying the economy is A-OK. Way too many of the news jobs reported in the household survey are part time, and the overall picture is still bad. But the household survey number (+873k) is legitimate good news, and it’s not a “lie.” It’s a statistic subject to revision (kind of like how the summer payrolls number was revised up by about 400k recently — these numbers are all subject to revision), but it’s just ignorant, not to mention pretty funny, to call it a “lie.”

      We thank the people who privide them at this point, as they are struggling too in this horrible economy. But this cooking numbers is just plain hurtful, deceptive, and wrong in every way.
      The BLS did this report, I am sure, at the request of POTUS’s team. When have we had it before?

              I admire people like my son, who has never tried to live off taxpayers after what happened to him, who has been scrambling like crazy to get one or two part-time jobs when he can work out the schedules and jumping from job to job for better pay, better hours, now taking a good paying full-time TEMPORARY job but knowing the whole time he’s working full-time, he’s got to come home at night and keep applying for work.
              This is a terrible turn for the economy to count those jobs as if they are valid jobs and as if it shows an improving economy. It’s no way to live one’s life.
              But go home and stick your head back up you anus. Righ now you got a full time position in the WH basement. Can’t wait until you’re unemployed.

      It’s a LIE. And what is most hurtful is to those who are receiving unemployment payments. The more (falsely) added jobs, the actual time (months) for receiving unemployment goes down. Its decreased based those on the rolls.

        The current deputy head of the BLS is a BLS lifer, because the Senate refused to act on Obama’s appointment. The only politically appointed head of the BLS during Obama’s term was a Republican holdover, appointed by Bush.

              Sorry but the new head of BLS as of July is a left wing labor economist named Erica Groshen and she is an officer of the executive branch nominated by the president and approved by the Senate. That Senate likely has some questions for Dr. Groshen.

              • yes, he’s a career bureaucrat, but he is only the “acting” commish, holding the place for Obama’s pick (this job is a political plum)
              • even as an “acting” commish, you don’t think he was made “acting” without being a “friendly” to the administration?

              • the BLS is part of the Labor Department, the Labor Department is headed up by a Cabinet member (Solis) who serves at the pleasure of the President (Obama)

You can do a lot with control of the Federal Bureaucracy, especially when you govern by Executive Order.

      What these numbers show me is that people are becoming more desperate. Part time/day labor jobs are taking the place of careers. Instead of factories having full time employees on maintenance staff to clean the premises, now they are being forced to hire people through temp agencies on a daily basis. So a man who before would have been making $14 hr 40 hrs a week. Is now being hired for a day at $8 hr for 8 hours with no benefits and no future. Only an Obamaton could consider this progress!

      So you do not find it even mildly coincidental that immediately after that announcement (but enough time to load it into the POTUS-prompter) Obama declared that the country was going in the right direction BECAUSE the unemployment number is LOWER than when I entered office. And he will be able to use it for the next month before any adjustment happen.

      Unfortunately there is zero credibility to that number because all other numbers point in a different direction entirely.

      It is based on a phone survey of households asking if they are workng or not. It is not based on any substantive data like payroll.

      I also find it amusing that the latest strategy by Obama is to call Romney a LIAR. This from an administration and a campaign that employed the most gross defamation and slander ever against another Presidential candidate, from an administration that has been a complete failure and has employed lies to deflect blame. If it were not so serious it would be amusing.

      After the other night it became evident to normal non-KoolAid drinking Americans that Obama is incompetent and a fraud.

After seeing Romney in the debate, I am confident he has the chops to get this done. Obama has hoodwinked and bamboozled us into an economic grave. America, it’s time to wake up the dead and vote the Obamanation out for good. We should never forget what happened to this country during the last four years.     I think it is time for we the people to give the Dems and the Dem pundits some political advice. 1. O demonstrated what an empty suit he is so completely and utterly in that debate that it is time for you to save your you know whats. 2. Forget trying to carry this guy across the finish line like you did in 2008—you will just keep paying a bigger price for years to come. 3. Count your chickens (the ones that are dead, diseased or disabled)—you lost control of the House, you lost the Speakership (first female), your team in the Senate can’t accomplish anything, the people do not like your health care fantasy fix, you are in debt enough to sink the entire American continent etc. 4. Let O go, stay home on election day. 5. Hey, the Repubs may take over everything but you can begin Nov. 7 building up for a 2014 comeback. 5. You can always pull Hillary out of the dust bin and run her in 2016—by then you know those totally right wing crazies in the Repub party will have over reached—and zippo you are BACK and you are rid of O. If you are really lucky, the Repubs will have cleaned up some of that economic mess and jobs stuff.

    Apparently Wall Street doesn’t believe the numbers either. I just listened to a report from the floor of the exchange and the skepticism is palpable.
    I think Obama has bitten off more than he can chew on this one. His credibility, already hanging by a thread is being challenged big time by even the msm. Finally, the people see whom they are dealing with and not so many are taking his every word as gospel.
    As an aside, Joe Trippi today said that a Democratic organization (don’t know the name of it) started watching the direction of voter registrations and found that in the first 20 minutes of the debate, Republican registrations doubled and have continued to grow at a fast rate every day since the debate. I’d like to know more about this so if anyone knows anything about it….give!!!

      It is ironic that the Obama campaign’s latest tactic is to just call Romney a liar when in fact Obama’s entire campaign against Romney has been a pack of outrageous lies and defamatory claims. And, in fact, Obama’s entire term has been built on actual lies about the economy and about foreign affairs as well as from his Justice Department.

      The Obama tenure is all smoke and mirrors and zero substance.

    I was stuck on the expressway a little earlier today and turned on NPR thinking they would have a traffic update. Boy was I surprised when instead they had this rubbish. The dude they had on explaining it all almost made me laugh. He said that the reason unemployment had gone down was because while they thought there was sluggish growth over the summer so many employers were hiring so many employees that they didn’t have time to report their increased employment. I am not kidding.

    They followed that report with another Obama blowjob stating that we are importing less oil thanks to the Obama Administration’s support of higher mileage standards which were causing less consumption. I don’t suppose that NPR bothered to check when Obama became Prezzy and when the latest mileage standards went into effect and who proposed them and all that.

      Maybe, though, it’s because people aren’t driving as much either because of the high prices and the fact that so many aren’t driving to work.

      HK2, I assume you were referring to the poll numbers at the link. But know what else was on that page which I liked even more? Secretary Solis admitted, the job numbers, while ‘accurate’ to the extent, they represent real jobs; were wholly constituted with government and part-time employment. (Still nothing about workers who have stopped looking for work and are left out of the unemployment percentages.)

    The BLS seems to be using different definitions every month for what constitutes “household” related jobs. To get the overall rate down the month before election many of the positions added this month just happened to be broadened to include US government “created” jobs. Which explains why the TOTAL unemployment numbers are much greater and the new jobs obtained are far less than what the report indicates, when the “prior” statistic criteria is used.

    I happened to overhear a conversation between two Obama supporters today that apparently hadn’t spoken to each other since the debate. One asked: What was wrong with him? Why was his head down so much? The other responded: I really don’t know. He didn’t seem like himself. The first one then said: You know what I think it was? He wasn’t ready for those questions. He probably hadn’t thought about things like that before. The other responded: That could be it. I sure hope he does better in the next debate.

      Far too slow to keep up with the population rate. Can’t keep up with new workers entering the labor pool, can’t help those discouraged and quit looking for work, and can’t budge the numbers of people looking for work.
      The trifecta – triple crown – superbowl of failure. Way to go O. You are good at something.

    where do you find the number of people who were unemployed and their payments were ending in September and they went on disability? I have read that more and more people are doing this to survive.

        Clare Dane is terrific. And the rest of the case are also wonderful. Don’t know if you’ve watched the ealier seasons but it’s worth going back and watching.
        I thought a new episode was on Friday night but guess I have to wait until Sunday.

          It’s the second season now and I started with the first show of last season and never could turn it off. The wait from this past year was horrible. I even signed up with Showtime for Homeland and Dexter. I figured 8 shows a month is worth the $13 of great escape. The story line is superb and Danes is incredible because she shows weaknesses seldom seen by an accomplished woman in a role. You also never know who is good or bad right away. Can’t wait til tomorrow.

    I am so upset…Americans don’t seem to be moved as much as they should be by Romneys incredible performance. How could one not be impressed with this smart, quick witted, experienced and decent man (a true saint compared to Obaby)? Since when are men like that made fun of and disparaged. How low have we have sunk to only get inspiration from bratty little boy-types such as Obaby–with an angry, LAZY, stupid, furtive, divisive, despotic, vindictive and arrogant character? He screws up everything he touches.

    The world is burning and extremely dangerous. A nuke could land on our heads at any moment and no one cares. What are people in places like Ohio eating? Have increased their consumption of arugula? Arugula is great but maybe too much causes dementia. Again, Americans have become zombies in the truest sense…Obaby could be caught on tape being an ax murderer and no one would care!! Am I in a parallel universe or something? What have we become? I’m starting to think that God has begun our punishment (and no I am not a radical nut) and I’m truly afraid.

    I think we can thank the “leftist/progressive” education systems and brainwashing institutions that almost all of us have been subjected to over the past 50-80 years. They’ve destroyed 2-3 generations of minds and facts. Their plan is now in its final stage and up next, as planned, will be the total demise and/or collapse of our Country. This is when the major herding of sheeple will take place–and as usually the case progressives will suffer the most. Some of you, like you Larry Johnson, have woken up a bit (over the last few years) to the real evil of radical progressives like Obaby.

    These nasty “bundles” of people that are running your lives today are by definition fascists, especially if they retaliate against and oppress those who disagree with them. Progressives do and always have shown disdain for common people. They have and always have shown NO faith or respect for life, especially the weak.

    They sure like the vote of those THEY HAVE disenfrachized though. They throw warm and fuzzy ideas at all the multitudes of progressives-by-default-of-thought (ie those that don’t know why they believe and value what they do and are oblivious to the cost of such values/beliefs). And they ALWAYS go for it–willing to give up their country and their true liberty and opportunity in exchange for immediate gratification of basest needs (By Liberty, I don’t mean sexual liberty–this is one of their bones they throw at people to entice and confuse them into voting for them).

    Their philosophy (a rigid religion resulting in much death and destruction) is responsible for more death than all other phenomena and religions of the 20th century combined. Over a 100 million deaths and many times as many souls in misery are attributable to their disgusting causes. They’re not about helping people they’re all about controlling YOUR LIFE. They are against every human natural instinct to survive. They have been desperately to covering up (they have succeeded since they run our education system) their despicable activities for decades (since 1912 at least) and succeeded to make these crimes look “right-winged” but NONE are –including the NAZIS. They were very enthusiastically behind the eugenics movement and directly inspired criminals such as Lenin Mussolini, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and Hitler to exterminate undesirables. Many of these criminals frequently communicated with and were praised by MANY American and British Progressives (presidents, most famous politicians authors, journalists, educators, scientist, shmoozers of the time etc) for their “noble” aspirations to control the sheeple). The infamous M. Sanger had one sole purpose: push abortions for Blacks in order to control their undesirable numbers–now she’s a proclaimed hero and no one sees the evil irony behind this. Progressives enacted forced sterilization of what they defined as wayward women and “idiots”. They continue to hate Semitic people and blacks. Their continued efforts to keep as many blacks (and now Hispanics) helpless, poor and dumb is testament to their continued but now mascaraded racism. They continue to do their evil work via support of disgusting types as Soros. They now inspire Ahmedinijad, the Taliban and Chavez, China and the twirp in N. Korea.

    The “right-winger” is really a meaningless label imposed on Conservatives and Classical Liberal by these radicals from the beginning. By doing so they had/have a population to blame for the Fascism/Communist (ultimately identical concepts to those who disagree with them) they propped up but turned against them. After the evil the American Progressive inflicted on the world their movement lost status and favor among Americans. They changed their name to “LIBERALS” ironically…usurping it from Classical Liberals to regain favor with the population.

    BOTH Conservatives and Classical Liberals at the time struggled to point out, then as now, the EVIL of the progressive movement but were not successful; especially with Teddy Roosevelt turning against them early on. Given the conservative and Classical Liberal proclivity to stick to themselves and their families, work hard, and be involved in local matters mostly, neither could make a dent (and still can’t) in the Progressive shield spun of lies..especially with 90% of the media against them.

    After all, have any of you ever wondered how people who are FOR being left alone, FOR liberty, FOR ending slavery, the initiators of the womens sufferage movement, and For supporting their local communities over the Federal Government, could possibly come together to impose fascist statist/centralized governments? We viscerally loath such concepts.

    The evil machination of these radical progressives is now coming into focus for some of you. I hope its the case. Those that have, its too late to do anything about it. I wish you guys would have woken up earlier.

    I am so hopeless and have such a sense of doom, I can’t take it any more.

    PS: The Republican Party is infiltrated by these same traitors…some more so than others. Bush certainly was a Progressive too by education (I’m not sure he knew it though). Most Americans whether conservative or progressive etc know nothing of the true history of a movement that has enveloped every aspect of their life insidiously.

    Yes, all the Presidents lie. But I’ve never seen such infantile lies before. Romney hit the mark when he spoke about his five boys. Obama lies are like the lies I told my parents when I was 7 years old. You had to have some savvy to know when Nixon or LBJ was lying. It took a special prosecutor, or hindsight. Obama’s Benghazi lies were infantile and ridiculous on their face.

    After Benghazi and the ‘Youtube video’ lie, Team Obama has less than zero credibilty. They’re laughable liars. I don’t believe anything Team Obama says.
