Hillary and Rice are Lying

I know that many conservatives look at my title and say, “Yeah, and the Sun rises in the East.” They believe that name Clinton is a synonym for lying. But I have been a fan of Hillary and thought she was different. She may be smart, but she has no moral center. I was wrong about her potential for leadership. What she is doing now with respect to Libya and covering Obama is politics of the most disgusting. She insists that she takes responsibility, but, rather than resign for her failure to protect the Consulate and the Ambassador, she only says it was the fault of the intelligence community. That is total Bullshit. Damn you Hillary, damn you. We expected better of you.

Here is what you promised:

It was not the intelligence community that received the report in August of 2012 from the Regional Security Officer in Libya, detailing a lengthy list of attacks and terrorist activity in the preceding year. Hillary received that.

And what did Hillary’s State Department do? She issued a Travel Warning for Libya and the decision was made to draw down security assets–specifically the Site Security Team. Moreover, someone at State, we still do not know who, did not give Ambassador Stevens a properly staffed and trained Personal Security Detail. Normally, Ambassadors in high threat posts will have at least a six man detail comprised of Black SOF or White SOF (SOF means Special Operations Forces).

The intelligence community did its part warnng policymakers. The policymakers failed to act. What the hell is she talking about?

As the attack unfolded, starting about 3:30 pm in Washington, DC, State Department’s Ops Center was monitoring the tragic event and should have alerted all of the other intel Operations Centers in the national security bureacracy–including the White House Situation Room, the CIA, DOD’s NMCC and the NSA. That is normal, standard procedure.

Intelligence briefings produced by the US military late on the 11th of September and the morning of 12 September did not, as Hillary claims, tell policymakers that the attacks in Benghazi were a spontaneous response to a video. Instead, those briefings specifically identified a group linked to Al Qaeda as responsible for the attack.

I am accustomed to having intelligence analysts smeared because of policy screw ups. It happened to me during the Presidencies of Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. And it is happening now under Barack Obama.

Let’s see if Hillary really does want to take responsibility. When the US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed in August of 1998, a State Department led inter-agency team, which included representatives from the CIA and the FBI, went to those countries and got the investigation underway within 48 hours of the attack. When terrorists hit the USS Cole in October 2000, the same team arrived in Yemen within 48 hours of the attack.

And Benghazi? Clinton did nothing for more than two weeks. By the time the FBI made its belated arrival more than two weeks after the attack, any evidence worth recovering had disappeared. What happened in Benghazi was not illegal. It was pure incompetence.

Hillary has lived a life making great moral compromises for the sake of politics. She now has blood on her hands, not because she led the attacks–she did not–but because the security bureaucracy under her control refused to give Ambassador Stevens the protection he needed. And in the aftermath of this attack, rather than genuinely accept responsibility, she says the words but continues to point the finger at the intelligence community for what is a pure policy failure. Her behavior dishonors the memory of Ambassador Stevens and the other three Americans who died in Benghazi. Hillary must go, and Barack Obama with her.

Former SEALS agree with me:

  • Gerald Brock

Hillary failed in every protocol respect regarding the safety of those killed, it was pure incompetence and very very unprofessional, she should resign immediately if sooner!

  • susiepuma

Does anyone here believe – as I do – that this whole Libya ‘incident’ was preplanned and not only by the terrorists who killed 4 Americans – I believe that this was to be a ‘hostage rescue operation’ timed for rescue prior to the big foreign Pres debate and it failed tragically – when teh won is considered a bigger failure as Pres than the infamous Jimmah who also had a hostage situation in Iran back in the day that resulted in the tragic deaths of the special operations forces who were sent in to rescue those hostages just prior to that election ….. (Reagan won) – teh won who is an arrogant, narcissistic POS who thinks he is the Messiah – then the whole crappy mess makes sense – but one thing forgotten in this whole rotten situation was that when one makes promises, etc. & messes with people who hate infidels (which are us) there is no guarantee they will follow the rules – someone gave them a better deal and 4 Americans were killed………………
I would love to see this loathesome POS in an orange jump suit and doing the perp walk after being accused and convicted of causing the death of 4 Americans just to further his endless campaign for President………… I so loathe that POS and as for Hillary, she lost me when she got on that airplane back in 2008 and flew to Unity NH with that POS – PUMA lives (party unity my ass!!)

  • shelldoll2

On point. I would be appalled but I just cried for my fellow dead Americans.

Who are these soulless creatures running our government?

None of the government officials seemed to be moved, upset, or sorrowful for our loss.

I understand that their job is to respond. But this bunch didn’t even go public right away to reassure the American people or give a public condolence to the family members of the murdered.

Ask for help and protection from this group? Sorry. You are on your own.

    • KenoshaMarge

Once again Americans who gave their life for their country are being used, abused, for political expediency.

I hope the families of those slain in Benghazi don’t have to wait as long as the family of Brian Terry has waited. Still without answers because of politics.

Can’t remember which of you fantastic commenters I stole this image from but it is perfect for here and now.

  • Retired_from_SPOnaj

Larry, I’m of the evolving opinion that what is being protected here is Valerie Jarrett’s role in the White House in general, and in this incident in particular. If the State Department operations center was watching an attack on a consulate–any consulate–for six hours in near real time, every watch office in Washington, including the White House situation room, would be aware of this within minutes after an attack started and would be monitoring in one form or another. You know it, I know it, and anyone who has worked in the national security millieu in Washington knows it, that’s just the way Washington works. If the nominal POTUS–Barrack Obama–wasn’t told, who would’ve made decision? My WH contacts say there is only one person in the WH with that kind of power, the one that they all refer to as the “de facto President,” Valerie Jarrett.
We need to get to the bottom of this before the election, not after.

    • KenoshaMarge

And time is running out. If Obama is re-elected I think it doubtful the truth will ever come out. It’s not as if we had an actual media to ferret out the facts. More like obamamedia weasels.

    • Bill O’Reilly

What exactly are you complaining about? You and Larry Johnson do not make much sense. Again, what exactly are you complaining about?

    • Dissentispatriotic

Retired, your last sentence is the most vital. But, how, by or from whom and when? The clock is ticking very quickly on this. BTW , I don’t have the inside knowledge or experience you have but I think your’re pointing at exactly the right person. How would the American voting public like knowing that ValJar runs the show?

  • HObama HObamanana

Considering that Charlene Lamb has already given sworn testimony that she was witnessing events in Benghazi in near real time, what Clinton and Rice are claiming doesn’t square with their own facts. If there is anyone in the intelligence community that is lying it is DNI Clapper.

  • Savannahlawyer

Two things: First, no one is willing to do the honorable thing and tender a resignation. It is one thing claim responsibility, but something entirely different to actually accept it.
Secondly, it seems someone is taking the intelligence data and putting it through a political lens ( water is also wet). I guess we’ve learned nothing over the past 12 yeas. It’s criminal, would you want your docor running a battery of tests and then putting a political spin on the results?
I know I’ve pretty much repeated everything already posted, but this stuff still leaves me flabbergasted.

  • getfitnow

Okay, Hillary has placed herself under the bus and looks like Bill is one of the drivers. The optics of him shilling for That One at this point is dreadful. This is so sick and sad.

      Absolutely!

  • HELENK2

I just saw Lindsey Graham ask did anyone tell backtrack about the prior attacks in Libya. I had this weird thought. I would not bet my paycheck on anyone telling him anything. I is like the whitehouse staff says ” don’t worry your pretty little head about any thing we will take care of it”

    • Theymustbemorons

I saw it too, HelenK2 …. and, I had the same thought.

    • Retired_from_SPOnaj

They told the de-facto President, Valerie Jarrett. She determined that the nominal President, Barrack Obama, didn’t have the need to know. The nominal President had advised her early on that he didn’t have the want to know.

    Slapstick act

Now there is a fight to take blame:
    http://washingtonexaminer.com/obama-camp-president-obama-takes-responsibility-for-benghazi/article/2510923?custom_click=rss#.UH3HkG_AcqN

Obama is jealous that Hillary took the blame.
So Obama is throwing himself under his own bus.

I feel like this is Alice in Wonderland.

I think the only coordination that goes on in the Obama Administration has to dow ith barack’s golf tee time.

    • HObama HObamanana

By Hillary going first accepting blame it diminishes the amount of blame perceived upon on Obama even though we all know he is the one responsible for all of this mess.

      • Hokma

Maybe he is pissed off that he wasn’t first.:)

      • Dissentispatriotic

I think he realizes Hillary’s preemptive blame acceptance makes him look slow and weak. And he’s right! Now, he’s squabbling over who takes blame like a child in a toy fight.

  • Constance

Yea, Hillary must go. She must go before she gets to the bottom of what happened. The news release I read of Hillary’s “morally compromised” statements stated that she takes this incident “very personally” and that it is her responsibility to find out what happened, and to make sure it never happens again. No telling what she will uncover. Of course, she can’t find out anything or do anything if she resigns. And, of course, if Obama is defeated whoever takes her place will have entirely different motivations for any measures they might take. This Republican/Neocon posturing is stomach-churning politics of the worst kind right up there in the same league with WMD and outing CIA undercover agents. Hang in there, Hillary.

    • TeakWoodKite

She took the job and knew her odds of being under the bus ,twice, were very good. She has blood on her hands, even though the SOS was following BO’s orders to not have security…. Negligent homicide is what occured.

I thought Hillary was different, I knew what a jerk Soertero was, but I didn’t see just how much of a power hungry jerk Hillary is.
She has this nonapology apology, she won’t resign, of course she won’t, nothing to hurt the 2016 run, right?

  • HoosierinDixie

Well said Larry. Hillary takes responsibility and throws the intelligence community under the bus all in the same breath. Now we are supposed to believe the WH was completely in the dark and the people who prepare his daily briefings are just a bunch of 3rd graders learning how to write a book report. It’s just pitiful. Your friends in the intelligence community must be furious and rightly so. Please let them know we are not buying it and we really do appreciate their service. I don’t know which makes me more sick – Hillary Clinton being forced to fall on her sword by and for Obama’s WH, or the turncoats who used to support this exemplary woman feasting on her remains.

    • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

Turncoats? Hillary shares responsibility for this debacle. She was in charge of State Departent. Obama should fire her, but he has not balls either. He knows that Hillary can rat him out on the failure to act in a timely manner to get Osama Bin Laden.

      • Earl Stick

Larry, I should have been more clear – I wasn’t even thinking of your article or comments when I wrote that. I was thinking of the familiar names in the Comments section who have been savaging Hillary for the last three or four years, long before Benghazi became an issue. Now that she is the only one in this lame administration to take any responsibility, which I find admirable, she’s being kicked while she’s down. That was my point, and I understand how unpopular that point is here nowadays.

As for what you have written, Larry, it stings, but it doesn’t have the same impact on me as what the comments have. I always have the highest regard for your posts and comments, even when I may disagree.

        • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

          Ok, thanks for clarifying.

Hillary kew Obama would fail the three am call, and yet she goose stepped right behind him. She deserves the ass kicking she is getting. She should have fallen on her sword long ago. Now it is utterly meaningless.

    • http://twitter.com/jbjdjbjd jbjd

I absolutely agree with this sentiment. According to a news story I cited ages ago now; she told the State Dept. in Egypt not to issue the statement attributing the unrest in that country to supposed hurt feelings of maligned Muslims. Yet, the statement issued, anyway.

How much real authority does she have? Who knows. Given that the country elected Obama; and given that, he got to appoint a SoS, who would these naysayers rather he had appointed? (And what real power would that person have had, anyway?)

    • HObama HObamanana

      Hillary is the turncoat.

Word is she thinks her personal popularity will survive throwing herself under the bus. And that the party will reward her for taking one for the team.

All your NQ PUMAs are going to love you Larry Johnson.
What is the point of all this Larry Johnson?

You are just looking for someone to blame? For what?

Why was Stevens even in Benghazi? He should not have been there. He himself showed poor judgement. If he himself had concerns then why did he (Stevens) go to Benghazi? He was not doing anything of any real significance there.

To suggest the Clinton and Obama are responsble for the the actions of an Ambassador or for his personal protection is BS.

You do realize Libya is a sovereign country and the FBI and the U.S. government just cannot do whatever they want in Libya?

    • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

You know nothing about how diplomatic security is handled and how such requests are processed. I know firsthand what was and was not done. You are happy to excuse this kind of stupidity. You fucking despicable asshole. When I was calling out and criticizing Bush, Cheney and Rice for their failures I suspect you applauded me. I don’t give a fuck about party affiliation. There is right and wrong. Obama and Hillary are wrong and have blood their hands. Deal with it.

      • Bill O’Reilly

Again what exactly are you complaining about?

Are you complaining that Stevens did not have enough security with him? If so then how much more should he have had and would it have made a difference?

The real question is why was Stevens even there in the first place if he did not have enough security? Opening a culture center was hardly a reason to be in Benghazi if he himself had security concerns.

        Who exactly was being stupid?

    • HARP2

Why don`t you ask Hillary or Obama what he was doing in Benghazi?
Someone ordered him there because he sure didn`t go there for a fucking vacation, now did he.

We were all suckered Larry. I cringe to think of how I supported her in 2008.

  • Hokma

What you rightfully outlines was grossly irresponsible actions and behavior.

You have to ask yourself, “why?” This is not an irresponsible or inexperienced woman, so there has to be some reason or motivation for all this.

It is evident why she placed herself (or was asked to) under the bus just one day before this debate.

I agree with your assessment of “liying” because they are stacked as high as a 30 foot ceiling. But when you cut through the lies and unpeel what took place, I still believe that it will lead back to the Oval Office and some kumbaya policy of Obama’s that he does not want anyone to know about that would be the underlying reason for such irresponsible actions and behavior.

    • http://twitter.com/MollyMcGee MollyMcGee

My question is……what the heck do they have on her that she would go to this extreme to cover this guys arse…

  • KenoshaMarge

I agree LJ. I came to this conclusion about Hillary Clinton some time ago. I say, “damn you Hillary and Bill Clinton” because I once supported both of them. I had little respect for Bill as a man but much as a political brain. We tend to loathe people we once trusted when they prove to be bastards more than we loathe people we knew to be bastards from the gitgo. At least I do.
When Hillary joined the administration of a man who had made her and her husband out to be racists I lost all respect for her. When she joined the administration of a man whom she knew was not competent to hold the office of President I knew she was just another lying pol.
I had hoped she would prove me wrong. She didn’t and now with this, she’s proved herself to be worse than I thought.
Barack Obama isn’t fit to be POTUS and neither is Hillary Clinton!

    • HObama HObamanana

I lost all of my respect for “that woman” when she took to the stage at the 2008 Dim convention and threw her support to Obama and her supporters under the bus. • Theymustbemorons

“Hillary has lived a life making great moral compromises for the sake of politics.” Terrific post, Mr. J. In one sentence, you’ve summed up a decades long career that, given her extraordinary talents, could have gone on a better path for this country. Like you, I was also a fan. Before she goes, she should make one final appearance before congressional committee, under oath, in open session, to explain why State issued a travel warning and yet reduced security … why the security was inadequate from the get go … why Chris Stevens went to Benghazi on 9-11-12 … why the consulate’s crime scene was left unattended, unguarded so that a reporter could pick up the Ambassador’s journal … why the FBI’s presence on the scene was delayed until any evidence was either stolen or destroyed … why, why, why. She needs to come clean with the nation about all of this. Her statement yesterday that the buck stops with her is reason enough for the committee to call her to testify. It’s starting to look like four Americans, led by Ambassador Stevens, were set up.

When she made the decision to work for backtrack, I was disappointed but thought well she is a smart lady, she must have her reasons. She became an enabler and carried a weak man and did not do the country a favor. Some day we will have a woman president, but it will not and should not be Hillary.

I think Hill thought she could not only make a rep for herself as SOS but outshine O and prove to a lot of O voters that she really was the better choice. For a while I think that worked. Now at the end of the last act for her, it is all coming apart and she is getting buried by Os incompetence that she recognized and called out. We make choices.

  • Deapster

There still remains the fall on your sword for me and I’ll give you a SCOTUS nod option, but time is quickly running out on that one, unless Clinton and Clinton really believe there will be an Obama second term to demand this level of loyalty and cover-up.

We still do not know the history of the Rice UN ruse — who concocted that and sold it to the media. That still smells like Obama’s inner political team and now the need to find someone big enough to take a fall to deflect attention away from that strategic error that is rapidly unraveling.

Handed to Hilary could have been the ultimatum, if you don’t take this hit there will be NO second term and NO SCOTUS nod whatsoever, so it was a lose-lose or a win-win or a lose-win or a win-lose. Voters will decide the final outcome.

    • mgm

This latest attempt to shut down discussion–as in, since Hillary has taken the blame, what else is there to talk about–really smells very bad.
I’ve just now come online so I must have missed something, because when did Hillary blame the intelligence community? I just listened again to her statement–was it when she inferred that the investigations would sort out the parts played by all those involved? That doesn’t make sense, since waiting for the investigation results doesn’t end speculation–and that’s exactly what falling on her sword would have seemed intended to do.
There must be a whole lot more that we don’t know, but the Obama gang can now “answer” any question by saying “Hillary Clinton has already addressed that.”

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the
University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the
Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: “A democracy is always
temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent
form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a
    dictatorship.”

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the
beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
    From bondage to spiritual faith;
    From spiritual faith to great courage;
    From courage to liberty;
    From liberty to abundance;
    From abundance to complacency;
    From complacency to apathy;
    From apathy to dependence;
    From dependence back into bondage.”
    The Obituary follows:

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election: Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29 Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…”

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the “complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase

Awesome…,I am sharing this with my peeps!

I lost it for Hillary Clinton when she got on her knees and let the obama people shit all over her and all women. So I really don’t give a crap [no pun intended] what happens to her now or Bill Clinton. They furthered the cause of the hierarchy and the Ambassador’s along with the 3 embassy staffers deaths, I’m sure were just “casualties of war” to them. So let her and the other bimbo Rice resign and may the 4 Americans murdered rest in peace.

Has anyone else heard in the news that if Obama doesn’t get re-elected certain people are going to riot, who those people are, dunno but I can take an educated swag and figure it out. Sad that now the dog whistle for violence grows yet stronger in this country to try to further make our country much more apathetic.

The riot threat abounds – to put fear in our hearts? O has been setting this in motion for about 4 years now.

      • MG6

        I will not be intimidated!!!

Ann Coulter did a thing about the riot threats last night. She was making fun of how trust funder white progressive liberals always threaten Black riots because white trust funder liberals would never riot themselves.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I am more than upset that I trusted her with a LOT of my money in ’08. I am now upset thinking of the charitable causes that could have received that money instead (though at the same time, I gave more to charity than did Biden).
I just want these immoral, inept, and incompetent Dems out of office for a long, long time–at least until they boot the fart-left progressives out of the Party. And I do know not to trust all the Republicans either.
We need true citizens in elected political positions–not party hacks.
I did have a sinking feeling in my heart when I saw her stone-faced standing next to Obama when the coffins came back and she still did not speak up about the absurdity of the video meme. I felt the same when she and Obama gave the little speech together. Then I wondered as did many why she was so silent for so long.
It’s clear now, she and O were just working out the let’s try to save our asses story together somehow.
I just got caught up in wanting a female president. But I do not want a crooked one. It’s as bad as having a crooked first Black president.

I did mean to type “far-left progressives,” but now that I re-read what I did type, I sort of like “fart-left progressives” as a term for them.

      • Theymustbemorons

        Absolutely! Everything about them stinks.

      • HObama HObamanana

Only trouble with your analogy is that these folks are not one cheek sneaks.

      • KenoshaMarge

works for me. Liars do stink up the place.

  • HARP2

    Damn fine analysis Larry.

Sing it from the roof tops.

You know, there must be a big reason for telling so many big lies…
Even the totally-in-the-tank-for-Obama NYT today seemed to make little of Hillary’s mea culpa, characterizing it as an attempt to inoculate him on the eve of tonight’s debate.
I’m seriously sick of the calculating Clintons. Some people like to think Bill will try to screw Obama over the blame directed at Hillary but I have a feeling she IS culpable in whatever big reason they have for telling their big lies.
Tom Brokaw recently said in his long career he’s never known the ME to be in such a mess. Bush has had to take his lumps for screwing up over there. It’s time for Obama and Hillary to take theirs.

I know the FBI was weeks late getting into the Benghazi compound (for lack of a better word)…are you saying Hillary or the State Department held the FBI out of there? Thank you.

    • http://noquarterusa.net Larry Johnson

More accurately, she did nothing to accelerate or facilitate their deploymnet.

        Thank you for your response.
