It is Official, Obama is a Punchline

Once the President becomes an object of ridicule, he’s toast. That’s Obama’s plight. This faux ad from SNL is just the tip of the comedy iceberg.

While the barbs tossed at Obama are very funny, the consequences of Obamacare for the country are anything but entertaining or amusing. This is akin to a bus full of elderly casino visitors going over the rails and rolling end over end down a two mile chasm.

The pain will continue and there is no end in sight.

Having a functioning website is the least of Obama’s problems. Worse will be (and is) the reaction of millions of Americans losing their insurance and being compelled to buy coverages–e.g. maternity care–that they’ll never use. I think it is pretty funny that the Gay Lesbian community, which are such stalwart supporters of Obama, are getting hosed by being forced to pay for “breeders.” “BREEDER,” has been used by the homosexual community as a derogatory term for heterosexuals. Now, thanks to Obamacare, they have to help pay for people to have babies.

And how about access to doctors and hospitals? That’s going to be a real problem as well. I am closing in on 60 years of age. I have never seen an eruption like this and it is going to continue to spew like an angry volcano.

Your thoughts?

I must confess, Obama has been a punchline for me for a number of years now. The empty suit, self absorbed, in the closet Gay President of the 57 Divided States has always caused me to snicker righteously. He is now as he has always been: A fake, a poseur, a player, a bamboozler and a fool that believes his own bullshit while insisting that we do the same. And everything that can be said about this pretender to the throne can be said about the heinous, treasonous party that he leads. I’d laugh my entire ass off if it all wasn’t so damned sick.

Interest to see so many have been able to simplify this issue, and so quickly. May it always be remembered who complicated it beyond all human recognition: Obama and the Democratic Congress.

They alone turned something that could have been and should have been simple into a croneyism Christmas Tree, that is beyond comprehension in its sheer over-reach and palpable dysfunction.

    SNL:

This is the type of stuff That One has no ability to deal with. His petty nature can’t take the mocking.

I just saw an article on a collection of photos from W’s term. Setting aside all the disagreements I had with Bush, one thing that was striking in this collection — all the photos of he family and FRIENDS just having a great time. Also, there was one of him looking at a replay of an SNL skit about him. I didn’t see the skit, but W was laughing and taking it in stride.

We’ll never see that with Mr. Thin Skin.

One of Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals is to use humor to mock the opponent.

This weekend, Huckabee had a great funny segment. He sent out his guy to the streets of New York to quiz them on which had more people signing up: Obamacare or the Religion of Jedi Knights in England; Obamacare or those want a trip to Mars; Obamacare or some weird Youtube kid signing, and so on. It was hilarious because some of the choices were absolutely crazy, but each had more people signing up than Obamacare.
I’m not good at finding videos, so if anyone can find that, post it.

just watched the liftoff of the rocket to Mars. maybe it is because when I was a kid that was science fiction, that I get awed that we send rockets into space. Imagine the things my grandchildren and great grandchildren will see in their lifetimes

  • KlugerRD

For three years Obama lied and all the Democrats knew it and the media knew it.

But this is only the tip of the iceberg. Beginning in 2014 we will be witnessing the largest increase in healthcare ever in one year because of Obamacare and Obama’s on-the-fly maneuvering which is throwing off all insurance projections.

There could be a “death spiral” of costs which will require a bail out of the industry. At the very least will be a recalculation of projections based on Obamacare missing major benchmarks and forcing up premiums substantially higher.

Then comes the end of the summer of ’14 when all the employer mandates start kicking in and then you will see a mass shift of employees off their employer benefits and set out on their own.

The reason this is such a debacle can be traced to the fact that this country elected someone who never managed anything in his life and at 48 years old had no resume of achievements. we elected someone incapable of leading and governing – just politicking and blaming.

Obamacare is the only legislation in history that had no consensus – not a single minority party vote – and was opposed by a majority of the country.

    • Deapster

Missing in this entire Obamacare equation is the fact health quality and value of health outcomes for dollars spent is not even on the table.

The only effining thing on the table is finding ways to pay for more of the same that has already landed us in 37th place for health quality outcomes; and that comes from our standard of ineffectual or over treatment passing for “health care”; not from the inability of some to pay for this.

Getting some else to pay $6 for the hospital aspirin is still the problem. Because 30 million people are still knocking on our doors demanding and getting “free”health care.

    • KenoshaMarge

And did you notice how nonchalant they all are about the lying. They admit that they knew Obama was lying. Many of them knowingly lied too.
Now they act as if there is nothing wrong with that because they didn’t want to give the GOP any ammunition.
WTF is wrong with those people and WTF is wrong with people that will undoubtedly vote for the lying sacks again?

    • KenoshaMarge

There are a quite a few liberals defending Obama’s lies. That alone tells you all you need to know about them. A good leader convinces people to follow where he/she wants them to go. Lies are not needed.
And all the Dems who stayed silent when they knew he was lying are as guilty of the lie as he is. We always knew that politicians lied, we just never knew that it was as bad as it is.
There is plenty wrong with the Republican Party but the Dems are revealed as a bunch of damn liars beyond what we consider acceptable from politicians.
As for the media that is making excuses? We’ve know for some time that they are liars and not worthy of trust.

      • DianaLC

Defending lying to the citizens is like defending the Devil the Father of Lies. Lies, lies of omission–they never worked for on my parents. And it was easer to confess than to lie because the punishment if you told the truth was better than the punishment if you told a lie or even lied by omission.
I hope Obama and Dems are punished good by the voters soon.

When there are now more takers than makers in the US, how do you think the next cycle of elections will go in this country?

      • ME

I think people may not realize how angry the majority of the “takers” are. People on disability, VA benefits, welfare, SS, are not happy either. The news, the internet, focus on one woman shrieking about her Obamaphone and it shapes our entire perception. There are takers, there are people who exploit our system, but that group is not as large as they like us to think.

        • KenoshaMarge

There are a lot of people who genuinely need help and I don’t think any of us begrudge them that.

When we rail against the takers we are talking about the lazy POS parasites who take and take and give nothing. NO Vet would ever be in that group.

I can’t believe that there are 47 million people who actually need to be on food stamps. For those that do need them I am glad they are available.
