The delusion of Barack Obama and his disciples is alarming. They genuinely believe that they have turned the corner on the “problems” with Obamacare and that the only thing left to do is simply remind Americans of that this is a great law and fixes the problem of people not being able to get health insurance. This is beyond whistling past the graveyard.

Radio shock jocks, Opie and Anthony, are not fans of Fox News nor are they tea party stalwarts. Listen to their profane take on having their insurance cancelled:

This problem is not going away. Pity the crazy Democrats who insist that all passengers on the Titanic, having hit the iceberg, should stay in bed in their state rooms. That strategy only leads to a sunk ship and dead people.

Obama lied. Obama lied. Obama lied.

Pelosi suggests Robert Gibbs is being paid to criticize Obamacare
Damn she’s a nasty old bat!

  • S7teen70six

A favorite from Robert Plant. Shine it all around.

  • binky354

I’m currently reading D. W. Ulsterman’s Dominatus. It’s an easy read, fiction, but relevant. It’s currently available as a Kindle download at Amazon for $5. It will be interesting to find out if reality turns out to imitate fiction. Has anyone read it?

    Russia recalls UN Ambassador

prison inmates being enrolled in medicaid under obamacare to continue even after they are out.

so don’t buy obamacare, do not pay the fine, get jailed , get healthcare
what could possibly be wrong with that?

    • Deapster

We now know all vagrants will also get free Obamacare too.

It will be much harder for them to sell their down and out story on our street corners, knowing Obamacare now provides everything they need.

They can even get rid of their “Will work for medical care” cardboard signs on the freeway off ramps.

Next time they ask for spare change, tell them with a big smile they already got both hope and change.

      God Bless.

I’m surprised that the liberals aren’t howling about cruel and unusual punishment.

  • KenoshaMarge

And doesn’t this make you feel all warm and fuzzy:

IRS Chief: Enforcing Obamacare Law Like Snow Removal

Administering the 2010 healthcare law is just like municipal snow shoveling — a top priority that’s non-negotiable, John Koskinen, the commissioner of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, said today.

That Koskinen is a real piece of work, aka POS, isn’t he?

  • Lemuel Vargas

    If the following is true

No single entity – not the President, Senate, House of Representatives, state Governors, nor anyone else – has the power to overturn a US Supreme Court ruling. Supreme Court decisions cannot be nullified by other parts of government. However, if the Supreme Court strikes down a federal law, Congress can always modify the law until it is such that the Supreme Court does not consider it to violate the Constitution, then pass it again.

Supreme Court decisions can only be overturned in two ways:

    Legitimate Methods

The US Supreme Court reverses a decision on an earlier case by making a contradictory decision on a current case.

Congress and the States can overturn a decision by amending the Constitution.*

then the caveat to that would be the Republican Party (especially the Tea Party) could be holding the reins of powers for years to come because Obamacare will make the average person’s life hell on earth especially when the higher premium payments kick in due to the burgeoning government bureaucracy and its attendant red tape, the incoming employer mandate and its attendant problems and the discovery of sky high deductibles when the average person needs it the most.

What do the commenters here think of this observation?

OT Breaking: Senior CIA official commits suicide in Virginia, near CIA headquarters.

    (Discussion of CIA job stresses)

…….”The agency also this week came under scrutiny from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence over the agency’s role in obscuring the facts surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell told the committee that agency analysts concluded that a protest took place in advance of the attack that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens.

Morrell testified that “subsequent information revealed this judgment to be incorrect.”

The CIA was operating a facility in Benghazi with a large number of agency personnel whose activities had not been made public.

Speculation about the CIA annex in Benghazi has focused on the agency’s role in supplying weapons to Libyan militias that in turn were shipping the arms to Islamist rebels in Syria.”

Haven’t signed up and want to wait until you get sick? t

Then use this little publicized Plan B which allows a private insurance company to sign you up at any time, as long as they don’t discriminate against your now full-blown pre-existing illness.

Pay the annual Obamacare fine for not signing up on the health exchange plans, and then sign up for a private plan when you really need it. Then dump the private plan, once you are fixed.

And do this two-step as often as you can to save the big bucks.

Trick: finding the private insurance company that allows these any-time, cut and run sign-ups.

  • samb1

    I really like this one.
I hope you enjoy it too.

I think that each and every one of us should fervently wish that Barry have Obamacare directly and inevitably be associated with him for eternity. A turd sandwich with big ears.

  • DianaLC

Is a turd sandwich meaner or nicer than a meanwich? Is a turd sandwich better or worse smelling than a stinkburger?
I just love the direction political discourse has taken.

    • KenoshaMarge

While I too dislike the deterioration of much of our language what is said by private indidivuals on a private blog or elsewhere may be tacky but we are not elected representatives of our country.

When the President of the United States uses such language he demeans the office he holds and the country he leads.

When I use expletives to make my point, and sadly I often do, I damage no one but myself. POTUS must be held to a higher standard.

      • S7teen70six

I fully agree with you. The same guy claiming that bullying is wrong believes that demeaning, taunting and ridiculing entire groups of people is fully acceptable. Something tells me that the Pope didn’t mean this when he spoke to Barry about empathy toward others with whom you disagree.

        • KenoshaMarge

Precisely. I also wonder if narcissists are able to feel empathy.

          • buzzlatte3

Nope. Narcissists are incapable of seeing the other side of the coin or how something affects someone else. They are the opposite of empathy.

            • KenoshaMarge

              That’s what I thought.

      • DianaLC

I was, of course, not making a negative comment about LJ’s choice of words. I was, I thought, helping LJ by showing the way Obama has influenced the discourse. For a POTUS to do that sort of thing is despicable, and all one can do sometimes to counter his language is to use the same sort of language.
It was the “stinkburger” and “meanwich” comment about a proposed budget by some of our elected representatives rather than any counter in terms of substance or logical reasoning that I disliked. LJ used the same sort of terms and then DID counter with reasoned arguments.
I was pointing out how LJ’s headline was, perhaps, influenced by our despicable POTUS.

        • KenoshaMarge

I didn’t think you were making a negative comment about LJ’s headline.
I was trying to make a point, in my clumsy way, about the difference between what we say, good, bad, or otherwise, and the things POTUS says.

I often find his comments juvenile and rather tacky. Beneath the dignity of the office he holds.

I don’t expect POTUS to wear a top hat and tails and speak like Professor Henry Higgins. I do expect some class and dignity and find “cool” vastly overrated

          • binky354

If I remember right, POTUS was speaking to a crowd of college students. Shows what a low opinion he has of this audience.

how are they going to go after people who refuse to buy the insurance + refuse to pay the fine??

There are numerous sheriffs in this country who have openly said they aren’t going to waste their time when the IRS come to them with an arrest warrant for someone who refused to buy insurance.

    • Deapster

If the game plan is to deduct the penalty from your tax refunds, how many million ways are there to avoid having this happen?

      1. Reduce your deductions
      2. Stop paying taxes
      3. Get paid in cash
      4. Don’t start paying taxes
      5. Become one of the 47% who don’t pay taxes in the first place.

      • Fred82

I am inclined to think that the “repeal income tax” crowd are on to something.

On top of creating a privacy issue, the government isn’t exactly keeping up its end of the bargain when it comes to income taxes.

    • KlugerRD

The government has an ability to just send you a note and tell you, “Hey, guess what? You got insurance” even though you have no applied. Actually that is how they got to that 7 million number.

My house was somewhat affected by Hurricane Sandy but insurance covered most of it except for about $1200. I was told to apply to FEMA through NYS. I sent in an application but never followed up with any documentation or inspection. Months go by and I get en email that the government has a check for over $6000 for me. I never submitted any estimate and certainly it would not have been for $6000

So if you want to know how the government is going to get people to sign up for Obamacare, well they will just do it for them and let them know after the fact.

  • Deapster

Game plan: sign up in April and make one payment.

You are now covered for 3 months of non-payment and the insurance company is required to cover your expenses during that non-payment grace period. Insurance plan now lasts until August, and you only made one payment.

New sign-ups start again in Oct/Nov. Wash, rinse, repeat. You are almost-covered and could rack up a lot of freebies during that four month period, for the price of a single payment. PERIOD

    • S7teen70six

And “new” sign-ups are added to the lie.

  • buzzlatte3

Would a turd sandwich be considered vegetarian friendly?

But, no doubt Obama lied. What I’m not seeing covered is the massive voter fraud uncovered in North Carolina and another state not mentioned. It was reported on gateway pundit yesterday. 35,000 suspect ballots times two. Doesn’t that go right in the Democratic tool box of dirty deeds, too?

What can we ever trust coming from Obama? So far the score is zero.

    • Deapster

Herbivores create excrement too. Done. One vegetarian turn sandwich coming up, hold the mayo.

        (See Manhattan Condo Syndrome below)

  • Deapster

In 2008, David Brooks speculates on the future of an Obama presidency:

….”And it is easy to sketch out a scenario in which he could be a great president. He would be untroubled by self-destructive demons or indiscipline.

With that cool manner, he would see reality unfiltered. He could gather — already has gathered — some of the smartest minds in public policy, and, untroubled by intellectual insecurity, he could give them free rein. Though he is young, it is easy to imagine him at the cabinet table, leading a subtle discussion of some long-term problem.

Of course, it’s also easy to imagine a scenario in which he is not an island of rationality in a sea of tumult, but simply an island. New presidents are often amazed by how much they are disobeyed, by how often passive-aggressiveness frustrates their plans.

It could be that Obama will be an observer, not a leader. Rather than throwing himself passionately into his causes, he will stand back. Congressional leaders, put off by his supposed intellectual superiority, will just go their own way.

Lost in his own nuance, he will be passive and ineffectual. Lack of passion will produce lack of courage. The Obama greatness will give way to the Obama anti-climax.

We can each guess how the story ends. But over the past two years, Obama has clearly worn well with voters. Far from a celebrity fad, he is self-contained, self-controlled and maybe even a little dull.”

    • S7teen70six

I’m fairly certain that David Brooks had a thrill up his ass when Obama was elected.

…”Finally, the program’s supporters have gone on quite a rhetorical journey, from “This is an excellent bill, and opponents hate the needy” to “People will love it once they have it” to “We may need some changes” to “I’ve co-sponsored a bill to make needed alternations” to “This will be seen by posterity as an advance in human freedom.”…

Tell us true Peggy, would you still support Obama the way you did in 2008?

    • no_longer_a_democrat

and lets add that idiot, I can’t remember who, I remember he liked Obie b/c of the pants not creasing or some such nonsense.

And we promise any woman of any age will no longer need to have a period. PERIOD.

Or, if you like your period, you can keep your period. Men or women – you are covered. PERIOD.

  • Deapster

Loved Obama’s escape clause: this is not a perfect plan and changes will be made in the future.

But since he got the money up front for his plan in exchange for dumping all those prior “imperfect plans”, what exactly are people getting for their money now?

  • Dave L.

Democrats, still trying to pick up a turd by the clean end !

  • KenoshaMarge

Obama wanted to spike the “turd sandwich” during prime time but the networks – all of them turned him down. That doesn’t mean that the MSM isn’t still shilling for him it just means he had to confine his victory lap to the Rose Garden during the Ellen show or whatever.
The usual suspects in the MSM are touting the wonder of the magic numbers.
Problem is that the big lies from Obama – you can keep your doctor, you can keep your insurance plan and you will save $2500.00 a year are ruining the party. The public still doesn’t like obamacare and judging from his poll numbers, fewer are liking him all the time.

    • Deapster

It was speculated elsewhere Obama really wanted this on daytime TV in the first place since his audience would be the 47% takers instead of prime time when it would include more of the makers being asked to pay for this turd sandwich in the first place.

      • KenoshaMarge

Then why ask for prime time? He thought he could get em all. And more than a few of the “working” obots believe anything he tells them.

        • Deapster

He had to show “he cared”.

          • KenoshaMarge

I don’t think he wanted the scrutiny, I think he wanted the attention. Narcissists like Obama never believe that anyone can see through their bullshit.

He loves the sound of his own voice so much he never realizes that the mean, spiteful, divisive and juvenile things he says are inappropriate for the office he holds. Just being cool is enough for a fool like him.

O.M.G!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HHS got to 7.1 million by enrolling applicants without their knowledge or permission!

BREAKING: HHS Started Obamacare Applications for Americans
    Without Their Knowledge or Permission

How do you get from 5 million Obamacare enrollees to 7.1 million Obamacare enrollees in two weeks?

    You start the applications yourself.

    Health and Human Services was
mailing out letters notifying certain Americans that they had already started a
healthcare coverage application on their behalf.

HHS had started the applications for them.

    The Shark Tank reported:

    • Deapster

Kind of like Dem operatives registering and voting for people now too.

This last minute sign-up “surge” to the finish line did not pass the smell test.

But again, could our President actually be lying to our faces, only to have facts so quickly come out proving he yet again lied to us?

Obamacare sign-ups are surrogates for a mere wealth transfer system and in no way reflect access to actual “health care” nor any quantifiable improvement in health care outcomes.

Much like Obama wanting to win the highest number of college graduates award. No consideration for costs, benefits, utility or outcomes. Just a football spike for an expensive numerical surrogate.

Or as they say in Texas, all hat and no cattle.

    • buzzlatte3

Make that “asshat” and no cattle.
