Today there will be over 700 “Take a Stand” events across the nation, which are being sponsored by MoveOn. You can find one near you here. These will be candlelight vigils and Town Hall meetings to remember the cost of war and urge Congress to bring the troops home now!

BRING the Troops Home NOW… End this senseless corporate war of greed. Please continue to remember and support those that serve, and honor thier commitment to the oath they took… Those who serve honorably must also be remembered and cared for. Not just mouth service, but real CARE.

And now bushco wants to open another front in Iran. Yep three fronts. Only way that happens is if we go nuclear… and we must not let king george have his way. WE must take a stand, and hold tight. It might be a very bumpy ride…

Reports are starting to come in….
About 300 people protested about 15 yards from Mitch McConnell’s home, yelling: “Support the troops, end the war.”

At a Philadelphia town hall targeting Senator Specter it was standing room only.

There was a confrontation with Rep. Jean Schmidt in Cincinnati, where she joined a counter-protest outside her office.
