The Groping Speechwriter

No, not groping for words. He, Jon Favreau, does well there by Obama supporters. His latest groping foray however, relates to a life-size cut-out of Hillary and the picture below.
What is displayed in that picture is sexist and misogynstic. BUT sadly sexism and misogyny charges have yet to make an impression on the general population in this election season. That is to be expected when the media after having participated in the orgy itself, has downplayed it all during this election. Even now Campbell Brown, the nitwit at the CNN in a classic fashion goes after Hillary Clinton while the perpetrator is let off the hook. How nice! Another opportunity to bash Hillary.
So let us take a different tack to send the message here and that message being that the groping speechwriter is an embarrassment to the new President-elect and should be fired.
There is no question Obama’s supporters say that they are inspired by his speeches. But who writes those words? A misbehaving groper of 20+ years with a juvenile attitude. So the more important question is where is that groper getting his inspiration to write those words? Looks more like a good wordsmith who recycles the same concepts and ideas and we even have seen him use/plagiarize catch phrases from other famous speeches. It certainly does not look like it comes from within for him. He is not going to write “women’s rights are human rights..” anytime soon unless he wants to plagiarize again because it sounds good.
Other NQ writers reacted to this news calling Obama campaign a startup, a startup for a sports business, or a fraternity, all of which seem apt to me. If that is the image Obama wants to portray going forward, fine. But in any other workplace this kind of lewd behavior against another employee goes by the name of sexual harassment. The real issue here is that the fellow employee Favreau is groping just happens to be the new face of America for the rest of the world negotiating treaties, conducting summits, and such for the new President. Isn’t anything sacred to these 20 and odd year olds? We have seen all kinds of shenanigans during this election, not just against Hillary but Palin too. Where do they draw the line?
Now tell me if the President-elect should still hire this juvenile as his chief speechwriter? The role does not suit the person, what do you think? I am sure Obama can find plenty of talented people who may just conduct themselves by the words they write to truly inspire a new generation. And then Obama can deliver their speech to perfection.
{Speaking for me only.}
