The case with the most merit it the one brought by Alan Keyes and his Vice-presidential running mate representing the American Independent Party. These cases are being dismissed on the basis of the plaintiffs not having “standing.” Standing is defined by having suffered personal injury as a result of unlawful actions of the defendent. Keyes certainly can claim standing since he lost the Senate seat to Obama in Illinois and lost the presidency to him as well.

The United States Justice Foundation is supporting Keyes and the lawsuit. You can go to their website and get more details.

Gov. Blagojevich asked to have a lucrative job maybe,a Cabinet post, an ambassador, job for his wife
as a board member,etc.as payback.
My question:
Who is the person to grant this job but the P-E Obama?
And yet, Obama has nothing to do with this corrupt Chicago politician? There is something “fishy” behind the scene & “hot potato” for the FBI agents.
The puzzle is almost done, people!!!

i was thinking that was Mechelle. Did you read that somewhere, or is that conjecture. I read the transcipt on The Smoking Gun, but there is no specific name given. But I immediately thought of MO and her Tree House Foods Board, and of course, her $300,000 salary at the U of C.

Well, it didn't take long at all for 0bama to have Alexrod thrown under that familiar bus. Politico's Ben Smith says:

Aide: Ax 'misspoke' An Obama aide, speaking on the condition of anonymity, took back David Axelrod's remark last month that Barack Obama and Rod Blagojevich had spoken recently. "What the president-elect said today is correct, David Axelrod misspoke," the aide said. Obama said today the men had not spoken. An open question: When they last spoke.

The view from within the Bush Administration is that “this is bigger than the news media has yet picked up on,” he says. One conjecture is that they expect that the phone records will show that Blagojevich talked to Obama, and perhaps to Axelrod and others.

Tick, tick, tick the karmic clock will be an enemy to Obama. When will the next reminder of the real Obama be known?

Obama made his own hell, he’ll have to deal with it.

It is tragic that our vulnerable country pinned hopes on the likes of Obama.

As Fitz said…the investigation is ongoing. Tick, tick, tick and we all know that Obama is still on the list since Fitz never said he was off the list.
