Senator J-Lo * Open Thread

It is such a tragic thought: That our country is now controlled by the 21st century edition of slavemasters who mastered the art of political control via a network of corruption. The saddest thing of all is that there is no Lincoln in the horizon who might set us free.

  • connie floyd

felizarte, I agree, there does not seem to be any help on the way. It seems we are at the mercy of the people who have taken over the country and they did it without firing a shot. Lord help us!

    A great graphic!
The obama media is using headlines such as “damage control” and words like “scandal”

This is a great graphic. You’ve got to start somewhere.

Since da Gov is the subject — he’s the one who was arrested — it is logical that all roads lead to him– but as was pointed out — all the arrows lead to Obama. Damned he just didn’t put enough aides and people between himself and da Gov.

Well I guess it’s just another bone headed mistake.

“Well I guess it’s just another bone headed mistake.”

Either 1) Obama is so naive or lacking in good judgment that he ought not to be president, or 2) he is too morally impoverished to be president. Either way, a quintessential moron of the most oblivious sort or consummate scum-bag, he isn’t fit to lead.

      • Northwest rain

Well with his leadership style — he is NOT fit to be a leader. I thought that Nixon was bad — so many of his men went to jail — but Nixon wasn’t so bad compared to Ray-gun, and then GWB. Agnew wasn’t as corrupt as Cheney. Agnew didn’t contest the charges which were not that shocking compared to the garbage we’ve seen go down — Ray-gun sent arms to Iran via Israel. But it’s really hard to even guess how much Ray-gun knew was happening. He probably had the early stages of Alzheimer disease.

Obama — he’s just damned stupid.

He is BOTH. That is why he was the choice of the corrupt cabal.

J-Low. This is what I say. Regardless. Obanana has lost instantly the confidence of two strategic partners. JJJr. and Rahm. Both important connections in Congress. As if he could afford that when I say ipso facto that 3/4 or more of politicians in Congress hate him. Hate is said.

Like now Rahm. I don’t know Rahm. Does anyone knows Rahm. We know he is rude and blunt and egotistical. But how will Oblabla like to run his policies through Rahm when Rahm will be prissed off for the remainder – prissed off from day one I say.

I say Otramp is in very bad shape. He will soon have to go to Biden and Michelle by force and when he does the whole thing will become an open casket.

    • Ashy1

Lark – it doesn’t matter what Rahm or JJJr think, they are all part of the same spread on this sh$t sandwich. One thing you can count on is that Rahm and JJJr will do whatever is best for Rahm and JJJr. I think their associations with Obama have little to do with “confidence” — at least not the type of confidence to which you are referring.

By the way, I like the way the MSM has managed to make the “Mr. Clean” link on the left-hand side of the chart. Yawn.

  • stodgie

the question is lark are pelosi and reid mad at him?

  • Kal

Ok, I knew this would have to happen eventually — but check it out, look at the Fox story on this, and contemplate the future of women on a planet in which men like this have unlimited funds to get this just the way they like it:

Looks like an ambush on the governorship from the Obamacrat wing of the Illinois Democratic Party. I hope Fitzgerald brings the whole house of cards down.

  • rolling_thunder

A corruption scandal in President Select FraudObama’s backyard is the last thing this country needs. But like it or not, that’s exactly what we have in the unfolding drama of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s arrest.
All involved including FraudObama are becoming ensnared in a huge criminal investigation leading to indictments. Bring ‘em down Fitsgerald. GO GO GO!
President Biden and Vice President Hillary Clinton, your limo is waiting.

  • rolling_thunder

Russia is making fun of us for having a President Select who has not shown any of his docs. Oh he showed a falsified (Fraudulent) birth certificate and a note from his doctor but we need proof that he is who he says he is. Damned twit.
How is it that he has medical records that say he was treated for Schizophrenia and may still have to be on meds but his records are under lock and key. RELEASE THOSE RECORDS FRAUDO. The American people need to know before you bamboozle us anymore.

LOl, well I happen to believe J-Lo would be infinitely more qualified to be a senator then most of them. She’s got quite a bit of hands on business experience and has also won some human rights awards for her advocacy.

Bahahah, and she’s certainly more well traveled than Obama was when he became a Senator. I’d have to say she’s at least as qualified on foreign policy as the president elect.

I believe Fran Dresher (the sitcom actress in THE NANNY) has announced her run for HRC’s Senate seat. I know it’s a publicity stunt, but it’s also a dig against Caroline Kennedy. Dresher was a big HRC supporter, so I think this move by her is meant to upstage Caroline Kenndey by highlighting CK’s celebrity and new-found senatorial aspirations.

Also, J-LO is more qualified than CK for the Senate, since J-LO is a savvy, self-made woman who never forgot her NY roots and who is a charitable human being. CK is nothing but a mollycoddled princess who is a terrible public speaker, btw.

Vote for Alan Keyes for the vacant Illinois Senate seat. I am donating some money to impulse his candidacy. :)

    Kidding.

There’s a problem in that graphic. It doesn’t show the direct connection between Obama and Blago.

I don’t see the problem. The connection do not have to be direct to be connections. Just like the internet.

Notice that there are more arrows pointing out from Blago than pointing in. Notice that most arrows point to and end in Obama. That has various meanings. But one is that Obama will not be able to wiggle himself out of this one easily if the case goes to trial or is further unwrapped – and it will. But second, even though Blago will loose big time, his lawyer will defend him and he may come out even – although financially ruined. But Oblabla may enrich himself from this, politically it will be very costly.

  • wodiej

I agree…anyone else, Rev, Wright and Ayers alone would have finished a candidate off. I am appalled and ashamed that the Obama’s stand to represent this country. They don’t represent me, not even close.

I know things look bleak but I have no doubt that whatever Obama attempts to do, there are millions more like us at NQ who will fight for democracy and what our country stands for. Maybe this is what it took to get people to wake up. They are too busy with important things like piling up material things, having the latest gadgets, cell phones, big screen tv’s, Ipods, going out to eat, buying the best clothes….to worry about voting or what our leaders have been doing for decades. People have become lazy and complacent and that just isn’t going to cut it anymore. People like Obama have gotten where he is because people couldn’t take a few minutes to go vote. Their excuse? It won’t make a difference, they’re all the same. People will find out there is a difference and doing nothing is not an option.

    God Bless America
