Blagojevich’s Just Words after Rezko Fall

John Kass, from the Chicago Tribune, is an indispensable read during our walk down Chicago Way. His latest today included some interesting video.

First, a video of Blagojevich taking questions after his friend, Tony Rezko, got in serious trouble with federal authorities. It’s interesting to watch in light of Blagojevich’s arrest. He was clearly sending Rezko a message during the Q and A. He mentions more than once that Rezko should “tell the truth” but in a way that suggests something different.

so the whole, “Tony said neither I, nor Obama, did anything wrong.” doesn’t hold a lot of weight….

Bill and Hillary are not racists and Rod is not crazy. It is amazing how the press picks up the Obama tallking points and makes them there own. The guy got a bit boring but he speaks (sans teleprompter) better than Obama.

Don’t know what will happen, here, they seem to be in spin control, full denial here.

Must be difficult all those people with knowledge of the situaiton, all these people UNDER arrest, hoping to avoid prison.

It will be interesting to see where it goes, if Fitz is fired, or worse, “promoted…”

Holy cow. The story at this link makes it pretty clear that if all of these confirmed contacts between Rahm and Blag’s people actually took place, then BO had to be in some way expressing his views to Rahm in order for Rahm to have developed the ‘approved list’ that he did. How could it be approved without some sort of communication? Or is BO’s camp going to use the mindreading defense?

If the ‘approved list’ really got to Blag’s brain via Rahm, and the Rahm contact really is on fed tape, then the overall context of the affidavit makes it clear that somebody in a position to create BO’s list (and that would be BO, duh) was at the other end of what seemed to be a very active discussion.

I’d say this whole thing actually doesn’t look much better for BO personally than Watergate did for RN at about this stage of the process.

Everyone should tell the truth

I read that as a public message for everyone involved to lie and say it’s the truth.

Oh and as Pastor Manning says, “OZero can’t wait to get his hands on the keys to the federal reserve.” Chicago thugs will all have their fingers in the pieces of our pie. Whoa. But the good pastor says to stay strong and do not get discouraged.

We deserve better than these thugs. Stop Ozero! Can we have someone who is not a crook now?

I’m worried about the Bush law that can enable Ozero to call a police state on the nation.
The Ozero administration is full of crooks salivating on the money they can get from the Government.
