The significance is not the grammar. The significance is what has occurred, so I think it is you who fails to get the significance. You are using Ad Hominem to attack the person rather than discuss the actual premise. Just because someones grammar is incorrect doesn’t distract away from the argument.

This goes way beyond grammatical mistakes. This proves that you are actually the one with faulty logic.

The reason why an Ad Hominem (of any kind) is a fallacy is that the character, circumstances, or actions of a person do not (in most cases) have a bearing on the truth or falsity of the claim being made (or the quality of the argument being made).
